Lune Croissant - A Culinary Gem in Melbourne City! Lune Croissant has just redefined my expectations of what a perfect culinary experience should be. From the moment I walked into this enchanting haven in the heart of Melbourne City, I was transported to a world where flavor and ambiance collide in the most delightful way possible. Let's start with the star of the show - the croissants! Oh, the croissants at Lune are nothing short of a masterpiece. I had heard the rumors, read the raving reviews, but nothing could have prepared me for the explosion of taste and texture that awaited me. Each bite of their flaky, buttery croissant was like a symphony of flavors dancing on my taste buds. The layers were so delicate and perfectly crispy, it was as if the pastry gods themselves had a hand in creating these heavenly creations. My personal favorite was the almond croissant – an absolute triumph of nutty sweetness and indulgent pastry. But Lune is not just about the croissants; it's an entire sensory experience. The store itself exudes an understated elegance, with its minimalist decor and clean lines. The soft lighting and cozy seating make it the perfect place to savor these delightful pastries. It's as if they've designed the space to ensure that every bite is savored and enjoyed to the fullest. And then there's the service. The staff at Lune Croissant are the embodiment of hospitality and passion. Their knowledge and enthusiasm for the products they serve are infectious. They take the time to explain the different varieties and help you choose the perfect croissant to match your preferences. It's clear that they take immense pride in what they do, and it shines through in every interaction. I cannot recommend Lune Croissant enough. Whether you're a local or just passing through Melbourne, this is an experience you simply cannot miss. It's a testament to the dedication and artistry of the team behind Lune Croissant that they have crafted a slice of pastry heaven right here in our city. In a world where excellence is often elusive, Lune Croissant is a shining beacon. Do yourself a favor and treat your taste buds to an unforgettable journey at Lune. You won't be disappointed – you'll be delighted! Thank you, Lune Croissant, for setting the bar so high and for making my day a little more delicious. I'll be back, and I can't wait to create more memories in your welcoming space.
I recently had the pleasure of indulging in pastries from Lune Croissanterie, and it was an experience worth raving about. From the moment I walked in (be prepared to wait for at least one hour), the aroma of freshly baked goods filled the air, creating an irresistible invitation. The display was a visual delight, showcasing an array of beautifully crafted pastries that looked almost too good to eat. I decided to try an array of croissants, and the Apple Pie was perfection. The flaky layers were buttery and delicate, and each bite was a delightful blend of crispiness and tenderness. The chocolate-filled Turtle croissant was a particular highlight, with the rich chocolate and caramelised pecans with every bite. What impressed me beyond the incredible pastries was the friendly staff. They were more than happy to recommend their favorites and explain the different pastries. The ambiance was cozy. Lube Croissanterie exceeded my expectations in both taste and service. If you're a pastry enthusiast or just looking for a sweet escape, this place is a must-visit. It's a testament to the artistry and passion that goes into creating these delectable treats. I can't wait to return for more pastry perfection.
What a neat place. They have this operation figured out and move orders very efficiently. The food is excellent - we tried eight of the options and didn’t have a bad one out of the bunch. Coffee is good too (according to my wife as I am not a coffee drinker). Both times we went there was a line but it moved quickly. The croissants explode when you bite or cut into them with small pieces of the crispy exterior going everywhere - a sign of a great croissant in my humble opinion. Flavors were excellent. Ham and Gruyère was one of our favorites. Standing areas only if you dine-in, meaning no stools or tables. All lean-to areas but it works well.

My Best Croissants Ever I was expecting too much from this place from the moment I lined up. I just waited an hour to experience their famous pastries. And I will line up all over again just to get those, pretty please. I had almond, lemon curd and ham&gruyere. Each of them was big enough for my one meal. But they all have their own charm. I like the almond for its crunchy nutty flavor in a soft pastry. While lemon curd is good for its zesty and sweet flavor. And ham&gruyere is perfect for its savory flavor. I really like all of them and I wonder what other pastries taste. This place is one of the reasons my Melbourne journey worth it. I wish I could have you delivered whenever I want one.
Went there around 2pm, only has traditional croissants (6-7$) left so we got it. Good thing there was only a few people in the line, about 7 min wait. Just from the traditional croissant, def not worth a long wait time. Such a mediocre croissant and coffee that I think you can get from any above average croissant shop. Croissant is cold, quite flaky outside but not soft enough in the inside. Tasted quite bland and not buttery at all. Only a standing table and no seating available. Staff are generally nice! I would argue the bakemono bakery nearby has much better croissants and pastries!
Lune is an absolute delight! Their croissant is beautifully crafted with a perfect balance of flavors and textures. Every bite of their flaky croissant is a delightful experience. The attention to detail and the use of high-quality ingredients really shine through in every pastry. The staff is friendly and the ambiance adds to the overall charm of the place. Lune Pastry is a must-visit for any pastry lover in Melbourne! The only negative point is about their coffee which is not good enough. I am a croissant lover so when I heard this very popular croissant shop in Melbourne, I was very excited to try! Thanks God, the queue was very short when we visited. We tried ham & gruyerre and almond croissant. Both were very good, flaky and buttery. The staff were very nice! The only downside was the dine in space was so limited. I wish they provide seat & more tables for us to dine in.
One of my favourite bakeries in the world. Lovely croissants especially their almond ones. Everything I fly into Melbourne this is my go to breakfast item. There's not a lot of seating are and if you wanna eat there, you gotta likely stand. not wheel chair accessible either. Definitely recommend everyone this place and their other branches. Must gets are the cruffin and croissants
The best croissant i have ever eaten. I can see why people are queuing, it is that good. I had plain croissant and ham & gruyere croissant. Both amazing, it’s light not oily, it’s flaky, good layer, great crunch on the top layer and doesn’t give after taste that some croissant may have due butter content. I want more.
Best croissants in this planet Melbourne and beyond. Worth the wait? Definitely! My fave is cheese and black pepper, for the savory one. This sinful combo was so good, perfect for breakfast or brunch. Almond croissant is also good, generous filling, and taste so damn good.
I have tasted the Almonds variant of their croissant and it was nice! Worth the price. The base flavor is however not that surprising. For me what's the best flavor to recommend is almond. Space is a bit crowded most of the time so expect
It would be 5 stars without the queue and the "sold out" you may get after queueing. Definitely worth trying, the staff even when it's very busy are lovely and helpful. I was in Melbourne for business and I was determined to try it. I had
Maybe I have too much expectation from Lune? It's definitely overrated and overpriced. I could buy the same quality of croissants from Agartha with much cheaper price. Not to mention the almond croissant was not crunch at all. The texture
Have never seen this place without a queue out the front so had to try for ourselves. Tried a few different pastries and coffees. Definitely not cheap but after tasting the almond croissant, we can understand the hype! Coffee, Mocha, Hot
The price tags especially for the Almond Croissant were mind blowing. Very expensive but man, they are good. The Almond Croissant was so soft and kinda like melt away in your mouth. Flakky and not bready at all. Definitely must try that
SO delicious, worth the line up just for the smell when you walk in! I had read prior to coming to Melbourne that this was rated the top croissant in the world by the NYT, and that was enough to convince me to try it. There was probably
I had the pleasure of savoring the most exquisite croissants in Melbourne at Lune Croissanterie. From their enticing menu, I indulged in a delightful selection, including the plain croissant, almond croissant, pain au chocolat, and a
Worth the wait. It is pricey though but worth it. The pastries are super flaky and light. The ham Gruyère was just enough salty, I could of had another 2!
Line was huge, waited at least 30/40 minutes Crossiants were good, I wouldn't rush back though. The Queen Victoria market has
