"Went in to do a shopping purely for the meal deals you got however I mix and match them apparently but only been told after paid at the checkout! Maybe advise the staff clearly seeing that I was trying to buy the meal deals to let me know first that those meals will be charged individually ! After a bill of nearly a weekly shop in Tesco being charged items individually instead of a meal deal which of course they come as a ridiculous price if you buy them per item I don’t think I’ll be shopping ever again especially as you would think your staff would be sensible enough to advise customers that some items aren’t in the meal deal before the take your cash"
"Great system in place for safe shopping"
"Generally this is a good Covid-19 era shopping experience"
"Nice store with lots of choice, great quality food and products etc"
"Go to Crown Point store instead"

Maybe advise the staff clearly seeing that I was trying to buy the meal deals to let me know first that those meals will be charged individually ! Furthermore there was no help to rectify the situation or even a sorry on her behalf ! Poor really really poor
Great system in place for safe shopping. There are 2 queues at present. One for self service small shopping and one for larger shopping trips. Queue times will vary depending on how large the queue is. At the entrance you are given either a shopping trolley or baskets already sanitised for your use and hand gel is at the entrance too. The floor inside is marked really well, most people follow the directions but there is plenty of room in each aisle to safe distance. The staff are amazing here, really friendly, helpful and always happy. Its a pleasure to shop here. Well done Jo ( the manager) for a very well run store.
Generally this is a good Covid-19 era shopping experience. Several little gripes, though. Better control of customer flow, please. Please ensure that customers follow arrows on floor. If customers are asked to wear face covering, then why don't all staff? Screens at tills are fine, but why then do staff lean to side and not behind screen to hand customer their receipt? It's either safe or it isn't, there's no halfway house.
Nice store with lots of choice, great quality food and products etc. However, the layout design is really poor, you do feel crammed in like sardines, bumping into one another, constantly having to let people pass or move out the way. Even at the checkouts, barely any room to stand as the aisles are right next to it. Friendly and helpful staff though, would maybe recommend visiting at a quieter time.
Go to Crown Point store instead. The current queuing system is a farce, badly run and unorganised. One in one out at crown point works much better. Basket or trolley system is a mess as people don't bring baskets out so you end up stood waiting an ages for someone to bring some back out even if you don't need one. And no policing of what till you would use inside anyway. Have a rethink M&S Colton!
I love shopping here. The food is great but the staff attitude is fantastic. Greetings, smiles, offers of help and general attitude is first class. I know a lot of staff from the old crossgates store and was delighted to see them at the Springs. Their help during these quite difficult times only increased. Staff are always friendly and helpful. 5 stars, would give more. Thankyou all.
Plant based range is always unavailable and tbey sell items that are out of date. When you mention it to the staff theu just take the out of date item from you and put it back on thr shelf for unsuspecting shoppers to purchase. Two occasions this has happened, the firat one I thought may be an error, but the second time means they're trying to pull the wool over our eyes.
Went into store today to collect a few items with my new born and was struggling to hold all the shopping in one hand& my baby in the other- Daisy and a colleague saw me struggling to grab something and immediately helped. Not only did Daisy grab what I needed but helped carry my shopping and take me to a till to pay to avoid waiting! Amazing service today thank you
I would just like to say about Michelle on the till at the Springs M&S what an absolute lovely lady so nice with all customers including children. Such a lovely lady to be served by on my visit 12th November 2022. Also a nice helpful young man called Daniel very pleasant and helpful today thanks to you both for your positive attitude and service towards customers.
Great marshalling at the entry to the store perhaps let down by not ensuring that customers follow the direction of the arrows inside. Not much thought has gone into health and safety by stocking shelves during the busy first half hour of opening thus forcing customers through narrow gaps. This is not so bad when people follow the one way system....
Stop changing the queues outside, went today and this is my only bad review since l started shopping there, when it first opened , people didn’t know which queue to join, plus the door man was mixing every body up . Bad experience outside but once inside everything was fine , change your doorman
It's too small, very cramped for space, the position of most products does not allow for more than two people to browse/purchase products. The Isles are too narrow. M&S have made a big mistake with this site, it should be at least 50% more. Atmosphere is below medium, checkout area is OK,
I thought I would pop in on Sunday morning for some essentials. Arrived at 10 am to find the doors locked and a sign stating their opening hours were 11:00 to 17:00. This is a food store. The non-food Boots store next door was open at 10:00. Are M&S taking the piss?
My favourite supermarket, excellent location. Love the selection of food. Dine in for 2 offer is always very good. Tonight I got 2 pizza's and 2 sides for £10 which look lovely. Toffee vodka is very nice. Bakery section is also good. Would recommend anyone to try
Trying to find boxes of chocolate biscuits on website was given 4 choices of chocolate coloured clothing and then gift bags containing coffee and biscuits etc. Searched for white chocolate biscuits and was offered bedding. Shall have to shop elsewhere!!♀️ …
Visited the M&S today at the springs & one staff member in particular was so helpful...I had a full basket that was getting too heavy so lady took my pound & went to get me a trolley much appreciated when pregnant & could see I was struggling thank you!!
Greeted at entrance asking whether a trolley it basket was required, valsantuzed and handed over. Basket customer were advised to use self checkout. Clear signage and floor markings for one way system. Thus was not enforced. Good selection of goods
Bright clean surroundings. Food I wouldn't give to a dog sums it up. Below average quality at ridiculous prices. They try too hard and either over complicate food making it inedible or unappealing. OK if you want milk as they can't get that wrong
Went to order some flowers for an anniversary but couldn't get them delivered on day needed as they were unavailable till April.we needed them for Saturday.the assistant that served me was delightful.she rang up to see if she could get
It's M&S. Good quality food with a price tag to match. Only a few shops open at The Springs at the moment so a rather soulless area. Wouldn't make a special trip to this M&S until more shopping choices are available on site.
I forgot my sparks card so told the lady on the till and asked if I could bring my receipt back with my sparks card next day. I was told no they don't do that anymore WHY don't understand that rule. Won't be going again.
Every time I go in there is a member of staff who makes a rude, un-needed comment to me. I wouldn't advise going here with a young child as I have no doubt you will inevitably recieve a similar snotty remark.
Can't beat M & S mum swore by them both the food hall and the clothing ranges so I'm keeping up the tradition in her memory and she was right the quality is always A one a bit more pricey but worth it
Good quality foods .reasonably priced, good choice of foods and also drinks .love it when the special offers are on .and the staff are really friendly and helpful . so big thumps up to …
Cramped store, tries to have too many different products and ranges meaning there is little stock of each option, for example the dine in range. Not a well laid out/logical store
Love the food. It is of a very good quality and the ready meals are amazing and fresh fruit and veg and the shelves are always full and the staff are really helpful and friendly
I love this Food Hall at the Springs at Leeds, we like the quality of the food usually better than some supermarkets. I usually we go there twice a month sometimes more.
M and S great place to shop if you think m&s potatos are better than aldi potatos , or apples etc. This is the place to do your weekly shop if money is no object.
I like The Springs. Marks and Spencer is lovely however I had to scoot off home because they have no loos at the springs. Hey ho. I will go to Junction 32. :=(
Strange to stay conscious of the one way though some people weren't following the arrows can't complain at the it must hard explaining to the public very good
Good quality produce. May cost slightly more than your local chain supermarket, but we'll worth it. Perhaps could do with being larger as very popular.
Excellent service from staff. Always helpful. Shelves well stocked. Seem to have the lockdown entry system under good control and queues move quickly.
Been to three M&S food halls felt very safe in them all. The staff was excelent helpfull and frendly,in these difficult times. Top marks from me.
Lots of 3 for £10 deals and the parcel collection was open. The till said closed but a member of staff arrived moments after I rang the bell.
Helpful efficient staff and the store (Leeds - The Springs ) had everything in stock that I wanted. Excellent from M&S as always …
Very organised the place of choice for me to shop since lockdown. Visited before this but more likely to do a bigger shop there in future x
Newest shopping mall, looks swish. The M&S is what you expect from them, but not a lot of stock in some areas: get the oven going you guys!
Typical M & S out of town food store. Masses of easy level parking, everything is wheelchair friendly. Good selection of shops and cinema.
Plenty of space and social distancing, everything you need. They clean your basket or trolley before you use it which is very helpful.
Excellent, friendly and helpful staff, especially the lovely Amelia who called me a taxi and was very kind when I'd mislaid my mobile.
Went to M&S today great place to shop and food is good. Only wish they had a Vegetarian food Isle in their Food Hall on Ground Floor.
Good covid process in place. Had to wait a few minutes before entering the store. Good quality good with a great selection of wines.
Staff are not the best, selves are not filled up. Can't purchase meal deals because one item is missing. Extremely dissappointing.
As always first class food and layout in new shop Only here and boots worth visiting in this part finished concrete wind tunnel
Staff are always helpful and lots of range available even during busy times. It's not the biggest store but still well stocked.
It's near home. Good food. Prepared well. Good selection. Always clean. Friendly staff even with all the rules at the moment.
A well presented M&S foodhall with professional staff. Everything you have come to expect from an M&S foodhall. …
I had a brilliant experience here today, the shelves were stacked, it was very well organised and I felt very safe.
Lovely fish & chips meal for two at the weekend, thanks M&S. Staff were very friendly and good value food too …
Great place to shop easy to get to lots of parking and good Bus service and let's face it Marks & Spencer THE BEST
You cant go wrong eith M & S food Spend less here than the supermarket because its not full of other tempting junk
Extremely crowded inside the shop. Staff and customers weren't keeping social distancing. Totally, unacceptable.
A lovely fresh building. Good location, as it's away from the city centre. Ample free parking on site.
Good size store but not that keen on the centre in general, feels like your in the middle of nowhere
M&S quality, just as you'd expect. I can generally find what I need here, so can't really fault it!
Nice food and lovely staff, not sure that we need Ant&Dec shouting at the check out tills though lol
Excellent food and shop nowhere else but marksandspencer love the food and Christmas party foods ❤
Just as we expected. Good quality food, organised separation and polite and helpful staff. Thanks
Limited stock of products but wide range. Be warned this desolate site has no public toilets.
Not much open yet but quite nice to walk round and see what is, but it's getting popular.
Managed to get everything i went in for staff very pleasant lovely and cool inside store
Staff are so helpful. Delicious food. Can't wait to tick into this amazing Pizza deal!!
Plenty of choice though not the biggest M&S foodhall - staff were helpful and friendly
Clean new shop, got everything you could need food related, best sandwiches too!!
Very good better than the store that was in crossgates because it has more choice
Clean, quick service and plenty of stock for a smaller supermarket. Very good!
Nice food that's cooked to order good service from friendly staff fare prices
It's very nice and clean not bad at all lots of shops and nice places to eat
Lovely place to shop and eat, can't wait till all the units are occupied
Spotlessly clean, good choices, friendly staff and the best prawn salad.
came here for an interview, wasted my time and manager rude and pushy
As you would expect, great quality, great service from helpful staff
Not much dearer than Asda and Sainsbury's, fresh food is always nice
Lovely little shop. Loads of space for ppl with trolleys to by.
Felt more safe and comfortable than a lot of other Foodstores.
Fantastic place to shop for food, gifts and little snacks! :)
Excellent staff this morning. Friendly and so helpful thanks
Good quality products worth paying the extra few pence for.
Great food, not the largest M&S, but what's there is good.
Great storestore with easy parking. A pleasant experience.
Great store, very spacious, well organised during covid
Nice big food hall just that it is a bit low stocked.
Great place for accessible retail and quick food shop
Great food all fresh and lasts the week or more
