Best dog off lead area in the Yarra valley, that I've come across in my search for the perfect park so far! Just a fantastic community feel to it! The entire reserve is great to have your dog off lead and to run around, as you pick from a variety of paths to take as a circuit of the reserve. Mix and match paths to your desired walk length. Worth a visit.
Dog-friendliness
The community, the primary school and council seem to all pitch in to make this reserve what it is! Bins for Bagged Dog poop everywhere, some dog toys available to use, dog bowls for drinking water. And ample amount of variety in the environment for your dog to enjoy as you stick to the path and they enjoy all the information in the smells of everything. Great for a dog that is well behaved and prefers walking off lead.

Love going here to play Pokemon. It is very well maintained The playground near it is great for young kids. has no toilets though. really good picnic area, all the dogs that are off leash are super friendly and people are nice. go here for amazing walks and fun Pokemon go adventures

Great picnic area had a bbq (just remember to clean up after) the bbq is next to the playground.

Wide variety of native plants tended by volunteer group, Friends of Margaret Lewis Reserve, in addition to large grassed areas. A small proportion of park can get a muddy in wet weather, particularly northern end and immediately north of the shelter. Many bird varieties. Great park. Also great for walking dogs off lead although I've noticed the council have marked areas that are now dogs on leads which is annoying as dogs can go anywhere on leads or to other parks so should leave off lead parks alone as there aren't many left nowadays.

What a great park.... you can have a lovely walk on the track or use the Bush track and suck in the fresh country air. Also if you have a dog tgat loves to run you can take them off the lead and let them go for it as there is now a fence nearly all the way around

Beautiful clean off lead dog park. It is well maintained with many dog poo bins available (emptied by volunteers), as well as ball throwers and tennis balls which you can borrow. There are many bench seats and a small payola. Lovely place.

Lovely place to walk with or without your pet. Some beautiful views. Take a seat and meditate or just enjoy some solitude . There are off lead areas for you dog. All maintained by a group of local volunteers.

Great place for a quiet stroll or sit on a bench and relax. It is a dog friendly reserve . There is tennis racquets and balls throwers available but bring a ball. Picnic tables are near the car park. Enjoy.

Very beautiful. I share the same name.!! Ashame there was no toilets to be found or open when we visited or other wise would have e joyed the lovely walking trails. Couldn’t find any in Coldstream

Great place for an off leash play with plenty of open spaces for the honkers to roam and explore. A shelter with drinking water as well as a variety of toys to utilize .

A great park for dog owners. A little more council investment in the paths would go a long way, but the volunteer custodians do a wonderful job abs the dogs love it

Best "Dog park" around. Plenty of space for dogs to run around. Grounds are well kept and bins located around pathways for disposing of dog waste

Perfect for dogs. A ball library, tracks, off lead, water bowls, shade, bins. Highly recommend a stop here!

I spotted a pair of black yellow crested cockatoos on a mid morning exploration walk. of this reserve.

Hidden Gem. Walk away from carpark and over the hill. Toilets not always open is the only problem.

Great open park massive area and you can even let your dig off lead in some areas.
