If you have kids who love riding bikes, they will love this playground/park or just someone who loves spending time outdoors, this is a fantastic park that you must visit. This park is a true gem, offering something for everyone, from kids to picnic enthusiasts. The centrepiece of the park is the bike park, which features some nice road-like obstacles for kids to feel like their driving on a real road. What's particularly unique about this bike park is that it includes a network of traffic lights and stop signs, which adds an extra layer of realism to the experience. Kids can practice their road safety skills as they ride through the park, learning how to obey traffic signals and navigate intersections. In addition to the bike park, the park boasts a sprawling playground that's perfect for kids of all ages. There are plenty of things to climb, including jungle gyms and climbing walls, as well as slides and swings for those who prefer to stay closer to the ground. And for the more adventurous types, there's even a secret little garden to explore, where kids can wander among the flowers and discover hidden nooks and crannies. When it's time to refuel, there are plenty of options available. There's cafes 5 minutes walk away where you can grab a cup of coffee and a pastry or where you can indulge in a sweet treat. And if you're in the mood for something more substantial, there are several picnic areas scattered throughout the park, complete with BBQ facilities and plenty of shady trees. If you're looking for a place to burn off some energy, the park's oval is the perfect place to run around, play frisbee, or even have a game of footy. And if you're a basketball or netball fan, there are rings available where you can practice your jump shots and layups. All in all, this park is a fantastic destination for anyone who loves spending time outdoors. With its bike park, playground, picnic areas, and sports facilities, there's something for everyone to enjoy. So why not pack a picnic basket, grab your bike, and head on over for a day of fun in the sun, you won't be disappointed!
4.5 stars! Marie Wallace, also known locally as, "The Train Park", has lots of variety of activities for all ages. It's relatively safe from the busy roads nearby however it needs more all abilities and toddler safe play equipment. It has some that are aimed at toddlers that are actually really unsafe (like the big wooden arch with slide behind the train - photo provided, they get to the top and fall straight off ♀️) and it only has 1 toddler swing.. As far as I could tell there's no equipment aimed at people with disabilities, The gardens and big spinning doors are my toddler's favourite, there's also a sandpit and sculptures to climb on/run around in that he likes. Overall it's an amazing park with a great bike/scooter track aimed at little people. It has a bike fixing station too which is useful if riding in from the main roads/bike trails. There's also a mini skate area, half basketball court, climbing walls and football fields for the teenagers. Some exercise equipment would be an amazing addition but there's still something for almost everyone! Of course the big, red steam train complete with train station is a favourite for all kids and adults. There's also BBQs, picnic tables, toilets, an off leash dog area and gardens to explore.

Bustling park with a wonderful variety of playgrounds and BBQs — incredibly busy on weekends so be sure to plan ahead! Judging by the crowds, the kids will have a blast here though, and it’s very ideal for family outings (and birthday parties). Lots of picnics happening and great for a walk with the dog. Ample parking is also available. There are bins and bathrooms at this park, as well as a walking/biking trail and a creek. Love the bike training area with its little traffic lights; perfect for kids learning how to ride!
Great local spot for kids of all ages with an old steam train as a highlight. Facilities include undercover areas for gatherings, lots of seating, small BBQ space and accessible toilets.

What a great gem of a kid friendly park in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne! It has an actual old train that kids can climb into and a large playground with lots of swings and slides in all shapes and sizes. There’s also a cool little road park where kids can ride their bikes and scooters to learn the rules of the road. Definitely coming back!
Brilliant park for the kids. Big red train is a bonus! Climbing structures, sandpit, ropes, basketball and netball hoops and a great road course for kids to practice their scooter or bike skills. This is right next to an oval so you can kick some goals or kick a ball. Toilets are lacking as well as picnic areas .
Always go there. Best playground in the surrounding! Train, swings, slides, sand pit, climbing things for kids and a traffic school. Also some stuff for toddlers to play too. Huge place for picnic and easily accessible toilets. Highly recommended
Playground
Large playground. Nice facilities.
It is one of the best parks/ playgrounds for the kids. There were so many different things to do for the kids. The best part was the bike track for the kids with traffic lights, so they could learn / practice road rules. There was a BBQ area as well, and a shaded area to have a good family time.
My three year old daughter had so much fun here! There are so many fun things you can play here, especially the mini streets with traffic lights for scooters and balance bikes! It’s a good way to teach my daughter about traffic rules while she’s having a good time.
This is a great park. There is so much space and different activities for all ages. It's partly fenced which is good, the kids bike track with traffic lights is great fun but gets packed on weekends.. Definitely a must see. If your not local, it is worth a drive.

This playground is huge! The playground is separated into sections including a secret garden, jungle, sandpit, train, and bike track section. There is also an old steam train which is part of the train themed area. The bike track includes
A big park with so many play equipment. There is a traffic lighted bike track made for the kids as well. You can dogs but on lead. Can let them off lead at the back of the park but with caution.

There are public toilets.
Marie Wallace Park has something for most kids and adults. There are many 'rooms' with different activities to keep you all occupied. Bring a basketball or netball for the older kids and let the little ones run and play or ride their
Fantastic area for little kids to use bikes and scooters, it had a little road with traffic light, pedestrian crossing and a round about. Great for the children to gain awareness of road rules. There is even a little pretend petrol ⛽.
The facility offers a golf course, driving range, and a convenient pro shop. The staff is friendly and helpful, making it easy to purchase any necessary items for golfing or range practice. Additionally, there are two well-maintained
Awesome playground with old steam train! Lots of shade and different areas for all ages. Secret garden, sand pit, footy oval and sports courts. Kids bike track too. Toilets were not clean- only negative tho!
The parks of all parks. It has a learn to ride section, jungle equipment, a train, sensory play, hippos and more!! This is a place where you want to pack the snacks or lunch so you can be there for a while.
Wasn't to busy but imagine on a nicer day would be. Hot plates worked and are free. Be wary the kookaburra will pinch food off it. Only once and was happy with its feed, didn't come back for more.
Very impressed with the council's recent update of this playspace. They have kept the classics and revamped the entire space with lots of extra things to take the kid's interest. Well done!
Such a BIG playground with variety and quantity of play equipment, including many unique play features. The toddler was able to access plenty to play with and had a great time!
This playground never ends! It's fantastic! They have a train, bicycle tracks and plenty of other fun stuff to play with! If you play pokemon go - it's great for that too!

This is such a great park with so many things to do. A great playground and bike tracks and bike / road play track with operating traffic lights.
Medium size picnic spot. Great for kids below 10. Onsite toilet and BBQ shaded facility. If you are local, then you should not miss
Awesome setting for a walk, picnic or just taking in the sunshine. Clean, plenty of parking. Even the toilets were clean
There are lots of things for kids to do, the facilities are quite good, lots of picnic tables and bbq's for you to use.
Great for kids to learn bike 2-3 years. Weekend can be very busy, try week day during school time.
