We have had a couple experiences recently of not receiving items we ordered and paid for at Lilydale McDonald’s. We contacted McDonald’s complaints and received no compensation. As we live 15mins away and couldn’t return immediately when we realised their mistake. They also didn’t give us the receipt or use our code as requested. We talked to the manager on duty several days later and they were rude, unhelpful and condescending. We love McDonald’s and have so many great experiences. The Croydon one has fantastic staff. We have found some of the Lilydale staff to make mistakes and then not resolve the issues. It’s very disappointing and we try not to go to this location anymore as you end up paying for for things you don’t receive.

Ordered on a Thursday night, a family favourites pack. Chips were all cold and soggy (like they had been sitting out for a long time, sauce packets forgotten and we waited roughly 20 minutes for the hot chocolate we ordered before we left deciding we didn't want our food to get any colder. Burgers were squashed but still tasted good and the place was very clean (unlike most maccas), and we felt bad for the singular worker rushing about and trying to get some assistances. Pretty disappointing service overall, mostly just upset over the forgotten items we paid extra for. At least the thickshake machine was working

I'm putting a 1 star cause I can't put a 0. After hearing them asking for the same parts of our order several times for our order number and watching uncoordinated staff keep heading stuff out to others we waited for over half an hour for our food. We were over 100 orders back in the queue compared to when others were getting their meals. When eating the meal it wasn't even worth the wait or the food for the overpriced stuff. My advise go to the shops get some ingredients make a meal for. Cheaper that tastes better and takes less time. Save the stress.

I don’t often take the time to write negative reviews, but we’re super disappointed with the quality of our wrap meals. Chocolate shake that was watery and had NO chocolate flavour at all, the chips were barley salted, cold, soggy and underdone, and the wrap was completely flavourless and cold. It just seems like no care was put into the quality of the food, and for the price we paid as well. Truly a regretful purchase and a waste of effort for my body to process. Can we just get a bit of a higher standard on the quality of the food, for the good of the people?

Every morning I have to wait more than 10 minutes for my coffee (which is ordered through the app), normally 415am, but Wednesday morning took the cake. I was the only one in drive through, 13 minutes later two other cars came in behind. 2 staff stood there chatting and laughing for 4 minutes before one went to payment window for cars behind. Another 8 minutes and staff bought ALL 5 coffees to me on a tray (I only ordered 1), and got really u ok set with ME when I tried to only take 1. This morning I went to Croydon and back in less time.

Today I rocked up to Macca Ds wearing my favourite snazzy pants and ordered a large meal instead of medium so i could get some nifty shaker fries. I put it all in the bag and shook it up like a one legged camel hobbling down in Lilydale and got ready to sample the first chip. I opend up my face hole and shoved some chips in and my face parts lit up with glee, the experience was amazing surpassing any expereince i have had since back in the 80s when my mum would put chocolate powder on my coco pops. I was sold and will be back again tomorrow to munt some more salty fat goodness. 10 out of 10!

I ordered a hamburger meal with an extra hamburger. I thought I would try getting it delivered. It showed up quickly, faster than the app said the arrival time was. However, from there, it's downhill. It cost $19 to get a happy meal delivered, I didn't get the second burger, and it was cold. They don't have insulated heat bags. Just chuck your order on the handle bars in its brown paper bag, drive a 5 minutes to my place, and the fries are ruined.

They have a kids play area but it reeked of vomit and feces, so I wouldn't recommend unless you want your kids to get terribly ill.

This would have to be the dirtiest and slowest McDonald's I have ever been to. We sat an hour and the filthy dining room was not cleaned once. Our food was wrong, our drinks were wrong. Our ice-cream order was printed and placed onto the counter and forgotten about until 5 minutes later when I asked about it. There is a lovely kids play area but the service is slow to non existent. Won't be returning.

Turned up to order well over $200 worth of food for my staff that are starting early. I was told that the restaurant is closed and I'll have to go through drive through. I explained that my vehicle is too tall to go through drive through. The "shift manager" told me to go to Chirnside Park and there was nothing he could do. Alot of stairs though so grab the batteries for the pacemaker and be ready for the climb. I would visit here again if I needed to

Always a bad experience here. Ordered 2 McChicken meals and 2 happy meals, they asked us to pull over to waiting bay, waited for ages and saw cars go by. They came out with the food but no drinks and missing one of kids happy meal, the girl said she will follow up, 10 mins later still nothing. Set in a good location, McDonalds Lilydale offers everything McDonald's family restaurants are famous for. The interior decor is modern and spacious, with a warm friendly ambience. The service is friendly and food is served fast. There's a big Children indoor play area on site, plenty of parking and a Drive through service. A great place to go to when in Lilydale.

Chips suck but the big Mac was good. The chicken nuggets is delicious as ever. Mcflurrie malteses desert was delicious.

George is an absolute asset to the company. Constantly looking after customers (I don’t know the last time I’ve seen an employee proactively helped a customer without them walking up to the counter), came and spoke to my son (even gave him a balloon!) and constantly going above and beyond. Whatever this man is being paid isn’t enough!

The amount of times you go hear are told to park for X mins to get fresh food and then it comes out stone cold anyway is appalling, Oh and that’s when they don’t just blatantly get your order wrong. Seriously management are a joke

I have ordered McDonald with Uber eats for the second time today they messed up. I know you are busy but please be careful when you prepare orders. First time one big mag were missing And the second time they didn’t put the coke! Oh right you are busy but my kids don’t understand and they want their coke and burger!!!!

90% of mornings I am waiting for my coffee. How hard is it to remember when someone orders a sauce with their meal? Must see it on the screen and think- they have paid the extra money, let’s not put it in their order. The dark skin coloured manager is lovely and so is the gentleman with the solid tattoo around his arm

A very organised, clean and well run restaurant. George, the store owner, was helping staff and customers and leading by example. This is the first time that I have ever seen the store owner helping customers and being part of the team. Definitely worth coming here if you want Maccas, thumbs up from me.

First time here. Chips were hot. Service was great. Not sure if it was the Manager (a man around 40-50) made us feel extremely welcome and had a great rapport with college students. A huge shoutout to the guy and the vibe on the place!
