I walked into this humble establishment expecting 3 family meals and 2 mcflurries but came out of it with a new love, a new playtoy. Picture this; you're hungry, you haven't eaten all day. What do you do? Hit up the local golden arches. You walk in and see this lovely olive skinned man at the front counter, aching, begging for you to order. You hear his lovely monotone voice and ache on the inside, you have found heaven. After he gives you your order number and receipt, you can't help but stare into those longing eyes, just waiting for him to give you the kiss you've desired for the last 25 seconds. You wait, for what seems like hours, and is hours, to get your order number called out. There is is. "Order 72? 3 family meals and 2 mcflurries". You run up to the counter, and to your delight, see the man you fell in love with 38.2 minutes ago with your order in hand. "We didn't have oreo dust so we gave you M&M's sorry" the man says, as he aggressively touches the back of his head. "It's fine, Manan" you say, observing his hidden name tag. Before you leave, you can't help to jump over the counter and give Manan a kiss, but you can't, you're too fat. You misstep onto the counter and fall, making a huge hole in the Mcdonald's floor. Manan laughs at you, and calls his friends over to see the mess you've made. You're embarassed, ashamed, petrified, and walk away. Now you're in the car writing this, worried about the next time you go to get your daily feast, will Manan laugh at me? Anyways food was alright, could've been a bit better though. Had a hint of Mongolian baby essence. 6/8

I had attended the worst McDonald this morning. I had a really bad experience if I can give zero star I definitely would. The self order machine was out of paper no one concern and they took all the table service sign away make you only can pick up from counter. I had been waited 15 mins for my order. Informed the staff and found out they missed my order. For another 5 mins wait my food was ready but still missed 2 coffees. Enquired again the staff didn’t really care and responded with very bad attitude. His behaviour was unacceptable and very disrespectful.Besides service, the tables and floors were not clean, had food scraps and spills over the table, it was gross and disgusting to eat in. The time that I spent near 30mins not one single person had come out to clean any tables or anything. The service and environment was terrible. I’m so disappointed with the quality standards and customer service at this branch. Staff need training!! I will be taking this further with a formal complaint.

1. I ordered two sets (spicy chicken and quatre...) using the touch screen and as soon as I paid, I went to the counter and asked a girl if they could prepare my order without cheese in the burgers. She said: "You are too late to ask for this!" Wow. Paid and asked and it took only 10 seconds. Then somebody (maybe store manager) got involved and had the cheese removed. 2. When the order came out, she gave me two burgers, but one coke. When I asked where the second coke was, she said I ordered only one (!). She looked at the receipt which she was about to throw to the bin and realised that I had ordered two and brought another. 3. After this incident, when I checked my order if everything was there, barbecue sauce was missing. When I asked, she said: "It is down there in the bag. I double checked it, but it was not there. When I told her about it, she said: "You can get another one" Wow! 4. After making sure everything is there, I asked for ketchups and I saw her sigh... Then she took two ketchups and THREW them at my bag while I was reaching out to her to get the ketchups.

Easily the WORST McDonalds I have been to! Couldn't do Frozen Fanta - disappointing but not unexpected. Parked in waiting bay for a Grilled Chicken burger at 2pm - possibly a good thing because at least it would be fresh. FOURTEEN minutes still parked waiting for food - take the kids out of the car and ENTER the store to find out whats going on. Ignored by all staff, including 2 in managers uniforms only to have a staff member brush past coming back INSIDE with what was obviously our order, which was beginning to tear through bag. Took 2 attempts to get attention of staff to ask if that was my order as I'd had to come in to look for it. The fries in the kids Happy meals were cold, I hate to imagine what the cheeseburger was like. My meal was missing fries, burger slapped together as if made by a toddler, and drinks were incorrect. ABYSMAL. Wish I could give minus stars.

I've been to many macs in the UK and in Australia - this by far is the most inefficient and poorly managed one. I had to wait for almost 30 mins for a cheeseburger and some nuggets. The problem is that the system seem to prioritise all the online orders - Uber Eats, Menulogs and whatnot while ignoring kiosk / counter orders. Why is it that there is only one lady packing the orders working her boots off? While few others are clumsily walking around? As others have commented, quality of the food isn't great either - and I had the pleasure of observing some of the meals being assembled (for 30 mins...), no wonder things turn upside down and get thrown around. It's unbelievable how such incompetence is hidden behind a respected brand name. This place is in dire need of a change of management.

Ordered Uber eats through McDonalds Malvern East at 9:45 on a Saturday night. Order a medium cheeseburger meal, medium double cheeseburger meal and 20 nuggets. What was delivered was a disgrace. 1 small chips, 2 small Coke’s and 10 nuggets. Clearly someone else’s order, however when questioned after attempting to get through to someone on the phone for close to an hour I was told that was the order I placed and I was incorrect. Baffled by the staff telling me I placed the wrong order even though the bag I had with food and attached receipt I had was correct. Clear example of incompetent staff unable to complete basic tasks let alone achieve basic order accuracy. Would give zero for avoiding customer problems on the phone but unfortunately unable to. Never been so disappointed in a McDonald’s before.

Rude Female Manager. I was taking a picture of the oreo ice cream to ask my friends if they want Oreo ice cream on the wall and all of suddent this female manager walking towards me yelling at me accusing me of taking a picture of her male staff who was facing the drink machine. She's yelling at me asking me to verify the picture, yes I can ask instagram to send me the picture because it can't be view once sent. She should have some manace when approach a customer and ask first instead of yelling and accusing them. Very unprofessional behaviour. Never even apologise and walked away. Why would I want to take a male staff picture from his back. She needs manace learning session. I'm a nurse and I help kids with disabilities.

Extremely disappointing customer service. Called up to clear my order as they always mess it up and miss something or the other. Spoke with a guy named PRABINTH to check my order details and make sure everything is sent without missing anything. Also went on to explain that my previous order was missing items and to see if they can be added to my current order as a compensation since UberEATS did not do anything about it. The bloke refused to do anything about it and on top of that kept cutting me off and explaining me about "rules". Disgusting staff. I've never bothered to review a McDonald's restaurant before, but I'm moved to do so as this wins was the worst McDonald's experience in over 40 years of eating at Maccas. Big Mac - excessive special sauce, Large fries - about 75% full and cold, Diet Coke - just barely over 50% full, Muffin - wrong, and Sundae - wrong. The whole order, without exception, was terrible. The order was so bad it made the impression of an intentional practical joke rather than being merely due to laziness or ineptitude. I think we would all agree that some franchises are better than others. For instance, I've always found the one on Chadstone road to be excellent, the one in Oakleigh pretty ordinary etc.

This all began sometime last December, I was a timid boy who was wandering into this establishment for his first job, trembling at the looming establishment in front of me. I began working here and little did I know, the trajectory of my life would forever change. I might some amazing people, whom I will not name, but nonetheless individuals that shaped me into who I am today. I have no doubt learned invaluable life lessons from the people and my time here. I’ve made memories that I will never forget, for example, this one man who was willing to teach me how to make a Crispy Chicken Deluxe. Regardless, this establishment is one of great calibre as the people behind it are hardworking, committed and loving. Thank you

I have dined in over a hundred McDonald's locations across more than a dozen countries, and it is with great regret that I must say this is the worst McDonald's restaurant I have ever visited. My experience here has had a significant impact on my perception of the brand. The management of this establishment is incredibly disorganized. I waited for over half an hour for my food and when I inquired with the staff, I received no useful response. When I approached the store manager, a woman interrupted me in a rude and unfriendly manner, providing me with no helpful information. Overall, it was a very poor experience.

For a Macca's its pretty average if I'm honest. Atmosphere is actually quite nice but it's dirty inside, the food is that sitting all afternoon kinda taste and the service is so used to the AutoPay zones they have forgotten how to communicate with customers. I saw 1 lady try to get someone's attention for a good 2 mins just to get some serviettes. And another staff member forgot to call out these peoples order so it was just sitting instead of letting the customers know it was ready... Good in a pinch but definitely not a great Macca's. The McDonalds at 100 Waverly Road is a poor example of what the brand represents. I went there for a coffee. The McCafe was filthy. The benches were covered with empty containers spilled coffee and coffee beans, dirty dishcloths and stains of all kinds. The food offering had been in the display cabinets for hours. The breads were shriveled and dried as were the cakes. The two staff members were enjoying themselves with all sorts of banter. When informed about the state of their workplace, they simply ingnored what was said and ensured they made no eye contact. Poor demonstration of making customers health and safety your priority.

Today I got very worst experience from staff manager, Especially a girl manager at the counter on 17/01/2022, time is 9 p.m. My food were ready 20 mins after she was packing online order made us wait 45 mins. Most of people are just hanging not working. Very very very poor service And girl wears grey(silver) half sleeve shirt, even you can check camera record foe that time, and rather than sorry she literally throw my take away food on table, and using abusive language. Very unreasonable and unprofessional experience from this store, hope and Owener of this store is took some legal actions on this manager. THANKS

Drive thru, car park, and overall traffic management is completely ridiculous! Who gave the nod on this terrible design that is guaranteed to have you either circle the block for entrance, be forced into the wrong direction upon exit, or corner you into a car spot so badly you need to wait for others to leave so you can get out. Furthermore I was completely ignored at the front counter, and eventually had to ask staff if I could place an order. Also I had ordered a LARGE coke; not a medium coke in a large cup! What is this??

I order from here all the time and there are always items missing. I genuinely can’t remember the last time i received all of the items i ordered. The drive through is a disaster, they barely manage to make every second order right, whether it’s missing or wrong food, getting a single instead of the double you paid for (today, again…), and even sometimes you get double when you order single, or just something you didn’t order (much more rarely!). I am a regular to Maccas. I came in to this place at around 8pm tonight. Staff are just walking and chatting but not attending me even though there is no one waiting in front of me. And some one leaving their shift observed and asked me, for which then he checked and told me there is a wait on this thing. Absolute worst reception at Maccas i have seen for the first time. Then she gave me apple pie and asked me to grab my hot choclate from barista counter on the other end.

Regularly get home delivery from here as it is the default restaurant for the home delivery services and our children love the food. Unfortunately the order accuracy averages at 25%. Three out of every four orders we have placed have missing food items when they arrive. You regularly don't get what you pay for. This is extremely frustrating and you feel cheated as you are getting ripped off. There appears to be zero quality control. Why is it so hard to check that an order is complete before sending it out?

I ordered in the app after it made it update the app. When I arrived on the drive through the app malfunctioned before I could press I was in the drive though and restarted it self. I never received an order number. When I asked the worker at the window, they stated that order did not go through thus I would not be charged and to order directly though them with cash. I did, to not hold up the queue. Turns out they were wrong and I was charged for the order. I had to charge back via my bank. Not happy!

After terrible service for 2 years, today was the final straw. I placed an order through the app and then was charged more for it after girl in payment window tried to edit it, then I was given the complete wrong order. I was told I’d be refunded for it and to pay again at the payment window and have not been refunded. No idea how I’m meant to chase this up either. Avoid at all costs! Needs new management desperately

30 min wait in drive thru for a toasted sandwich after order via app. I will not be visiting this store again. Asked if I could pick up from counter instead was told yes, then went to counter and they said no and that i would have to queue up again in car. Constantly getting their orders wrong in drive through. Personally experienced it several times. Paid full priced burger with extra patty but instead got a burger with no patty. Had to take another trip back and the manager was very willing to remediate the error. Make sure to double check the order on receipt and also the actual content of the order when driving through. Wouldn't wanna be disappointed arriving home finding out the wrong order.

You can stand in front of the counter waiting to order for 10 mins and not a single person will want to talk to you or take your order. Staff will all avoid eye contact with you and not even bother to ask why you're standing in front of the counter. I'd question what is the point of having a counter to order from if no one wants to even say hello.

I just bought an iced Australiano and got a cup full of milk and ice only. What the??! There's also 20+ delays through drive through to find I only got 3 of the 6 chicken nuggets I ordered. The manager here, particularly this morning was extremely rude to staff(what I witnessed). She kept yelling at her staff ‘park park park’. Then I had to wait in the waiting bay for a good 10 mins (after waiting 10 mins in que). The list goes on. Sad to see managers treating their staff this way just to meet a 45second KPI. The process (lack off) reflects on the competency of the manager!

Staff are really nice but grossly overworked, understaffed, poorly trained and disorganised. It's not unusual to wait 15-20 mins for an in-person order of one meal and delivery is even worse. The blame for the shocking state of service is laid squarely at the feet of Maccas - stop making 16 year olds do the job of 25 year olds you tightarses and staff enough folks to cover delivery.

Ordered a medium big Mac meal & the burger was tiny & upside down. Very average taste & the fries are average as well also hardly give you any. Overall overpriced & they don't even give you a receipt.

Terrible experience. Waited over 15 minutes to order a meal. When I finally asked if anyone was taking orders they told me I had to order at the cafe. No signage anywhere to say that. The poor staff where extremely busy and under resourced. Seems like the fault today was with the restaurant owners rather than management and staff.

Avoid drive thru when possible. Been to this maccas on numerous occasions and on each occasion, I’ve had to wait at least 10 mins for my order. I timed it today and it took 14.47 mins once I entered the queue to pick in up my order. When I got home I then realised they didn’t even fill up my large fries.

The staff were lovely and had great customer service although, i first got my double cheeseburger that the bread was drenched in dirty oil so i asked for it to be re made. i then got this in return. They offered to re make it for me for the THIRD time although by now i felt sick knowing i had just ingested raw beef.

McDonald's burger/food portion are getting smaller but not their price. Something is out of alignment. McDonald need to have a second look, seriously food portion against the cost !

I worked in a restaurant before and I understand the pressures hospitality workers have to face every day. Does that excuse for the poor quality of service though is another question. Far too often this McDonald store forgot our order through both drive-thru and takeaway pick up. Get your acts together please.

Purchased a meal and the shake was barely half full and not thick at all. Was very watery, more like sugary milk. How you can serve a drink like that to a customer is beyond me.

The food is good, the MICROPHONE in the drive through does not work properly and the staff can never hear anyones order and I have to repeat it about 15 times. It has been happening for at least a month and I have made the manager aware of it every time. Cheers

Such a bad experience. Store is dirty, food scraps all over the place. The manager are busy charting with his staffs and work with his laptop but not managing the staff to clean up. Burger didn’t stack up, see photo. When the order came, the tray is greasy. Might be the worse macs I ve been to.

Store wasn’t busy at all - took 15 minutes just for a burger, fries and a drink. Pathetic service, staff were sitting around, slowest McDonalds I’ve ever been to.

Slow food chain, stand for everything maccas shouldn’t. Slow service and below average quality food. The prioritization of Uber eats is ridiculous. Waiting 10+ minutes for 2 mcflurries is just not acceptable. Happens time and time again. Can’t wait til this maccas isn’t my local maccas anymore

Super slow service (bought a bacon egg mcmuffin meal) with 2x extra hash brown. Store not even busy (only 2x people ahead of us). Waited 10 to 15 mins for the order. Other maccas doesn't take this long. Avoid this branch if your are in hurry. Napkins weren't available. Coffee order also slow.

Hit and miss depending on staff, sometimes spot on friendly staff, other times, careless staff and missed items, have had this happen too many times to count

I just don’t know why they don’t pack items for delivery but leave items at the counter, waiting for someone getting drinks or something. And then they just start preparing food for in-store customers whilst online orders placed a long time ago.

The drive through is a MAJOR problem. Often a 20 min wait and the staff (while always nice) don’t seem to utilise waiting bays, so everyone has to wait in the line WAY too long.

With the Maccas app it’s kind of hard to go past the bargains that notifications constantly alert you to. Angus beef for hubs and a cheeky snack of nugs and fries for me. Honestly just so delicious it never fails to deliver

My history with this Maccas goes way back, theyve made me wait ages, sprayed me with water from a damn milkshake cleaning machine and somehow more waiting, but as time has moved on I think now they're at a good place.

Unfortunately this is my local. The slowest most incompetent staff I have ever encountered at any McDonald’s worldwide. The owner should be embarrassed.

Worst experience from this store. Ordered in Angus and received with no patty.. Staff in store were looking so lost with the orders upon visiting

Coffee was not really nice and Banana bread was not fresh. "Not Happy Jan"! Also knife was wooden. Sadly a sign of things to come worldwide.

I've never had a large shake on a flat lid. I ordered a large size, but this amount is regular one. I will never visit this place again

The drive through here is trash.. you either wait for 15 minutes or you get wrong order usually worth much less then what you paid.
