Visiting from New Zealand, we stayed at Meadow Inn for 2 nights. We don't know the area at all so did a Google search/checked reviews and went with it. We're not fussy people, just wanted somewhere clean and decent, and the fact that it was a pub/restaurant/accommodation was cool. Lovely/accommodating staff who helped with everything we asked and had some good yarns as well. Overall we had a really good experience, we would recommend it to others and will come back again. Would be a cool venue as a base for a family reunion.

Our room was right next to Sydney Road which during peak traffic time can be noisy - if noise is an issue for you. We weren't fussed as we were only there 2 days (and mostly out). Also no privacy film on the windows - so you can see straight in/out. Beautiful crisp and clean white bed/bath linen, coffee/tea/milk provided and next day a breakfast box was provided as well (cereal/milk/juice).

Bear in mind if you're staying with littlies - it is beside a very busy main road, so be mindful when you head outside that way (if you're walking). There is separate parking area for those in the accommodation and heaps of parking in the main carpark directly outside the venue's front door.

Very much gone down hill. Was once a lovely place and great food, but the food could have been much better. Medium rare steak, extremely smaller than 200 grams (some people actually know how meat looks in size even when cooked) and was far from medium rare. Even though I was going to order rare, was convinced by my better half to be cautious about the cooking, as we've not been here in many years, was closer to medium than medium rare. And for the $36, there was a tiny salad (which should be a decent serve based on the size of the steak compared to the cost). Kids spaghetti tasted like canned spaghetti. Very much disappointed and will not ever return. The one thing that was actually half decent was the garlic bread. Shameful for the $150 spent for 3 adults and 1 child. Although the new QR ordering system was acceptable, and the service was good. If it wasn't for these very few positives of the experience, I would give zero stars but Google doesn't allow that.

Usually go in every few weeks, generally great service and not too bad with food and timing. However something has changed, ordering was a pain, the bar and gaming room staff were inundated with drink and food orders. Most staff were friendly as usual but frustrated. Not to mention we had booked our usual section foe our large group and we got moved outside the playground due to a party that wasn't booked until the next day because management wanted the balloons up the night before, which wouldn't have taken long to set up after we left or in the morning. And to top it off, one male staff member in particular was quite rude, ignored 3 of us talking to him trying to order then proceeded to attend to another patron who just walked up out of nowhere so 2 of them left. Whoever made the changed to the ordering system needs their head read. Bring back the meals ordering counter out the back.

The Meadow inn has catered for all my needs , the service is amazing and the staff are well trained in making your stay atmospheric. The positive vibes each employee portrays makes you feel at home. The dinning experience has proven to be for filling as each and every meal iv had has eradicated my hunger and made me come back time and time again. Its been a very comfortable experience visiting Melbourne and I can’t ask for a better adventure. Narissa especially has been an absolute pleasure. She and her colleagues have given me life and I feel at home here. It will be sad to go back to Sydney knowing this place exists. If only the people and the establishment could be packed in my suitcase when I leave this 4 seasons in a day state. Thanks again

Disappointing evening What customer service asked for water told its over there in the fridge.We order off actual a menu and told go downstairs took 3 staff they didn't know how to do a senior discount with 3 full price meals. The lasagnas were luke warm and the steaks were tough 6 people were sitting in the upstairs bistro should know it wasn't going to be good. Had many meals at the bistro cutting staff and customer service and a friendly face to serve tables is so sad. Also feel sorry for a senior person that doesn't want to order off the disk to be told go down stairs open up the counter and get rid of the green wall.We would have spent over 100 dollars with disappointing meals and drinks. The staff here are amazing! EVERY staff member went above and beyond to make our stay, our meals and our experience here very pleasant. Nothing was a problem. The meals in the bistro were always fresh and delicious. Rooms a little outdated but, cleaned, restocked and refreshed daily and were very comfortable with everything we needed.

Menu leaves a lots to be desired. Not much to choose from, dishes are uninspiring. Meals arrived with side serve of salad which was not fresh, looked a week old actually. Husband ordered chicken Parma- how can you get that wrong? It was very dry. My fish and chips came without a serve of tartare sauce. And whatever is used to clean the tables with, leaves them sticky. Even the serviettes were slightly stuck to the table. Overall, not a very pleasant or satisfying visit. Will not return in a hurry. Shame really as the Meadow Inn used to be a reasonable feed.

Good bang for your buck for a pub feed. Always come for the ufc and other fighting events on Sundays. Never let me down with the quality and consistency of the food. Overall great staff and even when busy they still manage to get orders out without too much of a wait. Only let down is the volume from the speakers not being turnt up, hard to hear with all the chatter and noise from other patrons and the poker tournaments they hold. Actually the meal wasnt bad but my mum was walking my 9 month old around to try and entertain her while I tried to enjoy sitting down for a minute and an employee was unbelievably rude to her. The employee raised her voice to say no babies in here!! To which my mother started to apologize as she didn't realize it was an issue when the employee interrupted to say JUST LEAVE! Her manner was unnecessarily rude. She then proceeded to give mum dirty looks as clearing a table in the restaurant... absolutely terrible customer service!!

Was a very pleasant welcome when checking in. Staff were respectful and friendly. The location was perfect for the wedding I was attending. The room was clean and smelt nice. The bed was super comfy. Downside, could hear the traffic on Sydney Road but did not keep me awake. The bathroom sink needs attention. All said, I would stay there again should the need arise. Thank you.

I come here after work for a drink and play on the machines very early in the morning and the crowd is… interesting. What you’d expect for a pokies venue at 5am, they are however all friendly patrons and don’t bother me and I’ve never felt unsafe. In fact I’ve made plenty of friends. Carl jr and Biplav are the best ever, I spend half my time there just chatting to them. Good pokies for a certain demographic haha haven’t stayed in the hotel or eaten here though.

Meals were good and the young lady delivering/serving meals was lovely. Bar staff were horrible and slow and could not understand English very well. Took them 3 goes to understand a 'blue' steak and then got frustrated when we ordered 9 meals and said we should have used the qr code on the table. We had 5 elderly people at our table who don't know how to use a qr code. Then they got the drink order wrong. Oh well won't be going back there in a hurry.

Bathroom in motel was unclean. Couldn't sleep with all the traffic noise. When i made the booking it said it came with breakfast and it didnt. The one star is for the great location. Security guy seemed a bit of a smart a**e, not sure if he wants a chest or a medal to pin it on. We will not be returning which is a shame because we're looking for a new haunt.

The pub was a bit gloomy but quite spacious. A lot of gaming machines and variety. Staff looks a bit surprised maybe never seen newbie, come visiting the venue. Overall is good but, from my point of view, gaming area better when brighter with enough lightings. This time visit, I give ⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars.

Haven't been there for 45 years. It was a great old pub in the 70s but today it just looked run down and old. I suppose the traffic around the pub doesn't help but to be honest I was a little disappointed with how it is now. Just no atmosphere.
