We are not sure where the name Michelle came from, but it does sort of fit. I have found no public document to confirm or deny and there is no plaque. She seems to be comfortable seated on the edge of the fountain. Perhaps she’s just enjoying the sun or maybe anticipating going to Café du Monde ?

The water was drained, and We said hello, but Michelle didn’t respond. We asked her if she wanted some water. Still nothing. We begged, we pleaded. We asked if she need a ride. She refused all communications. So she lost a star for that.
