WORST FUNERAL HOME! My Mother in law was buried last Saturday 2/4/2023 at Pinegrove. They brought my mother in law in her coffin late to the service, did not give us enough time to place mats under her as we requested we would do. They also removed the cushioning of the inside lining of the coffin, without consent or advising any family member. So my poor mother in law was so LOW in the coffin it was difficult for people to kiss her one last time during her service. How is this suitable? To pay for a coffin with the lining and cushioning removed without being charged. What funeral home operates this way, that they’re able to do things without consent from family. My Sister in law, (the daughter) was not happy and actually disgusted by what was provided by this funeral home. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Disgusting

Being from Qld I had to sort out my fathers funeral in Syd, went onto google found a few places, we opted for Millars Funeral Services after speaking with Sam. Approachable upon meeting, compassionate natured, straight forward processes, Sam & her team were so amazing & professional, I felt so overwhelmed & anxious so having someone like Sam was reassuring, her calmness is absolutely needed, the communication window was always open she’s prompt and efficient. Sam and staff at Millar Superior Funerals were fantastic. My mother passed away on 7 April 2019 and from the first phone call Sam was respectful and going out of het way to help myself with everything that needed to be done. On the day of her service they treated my father with the utmost respect. The cost was more than reasonable and i would recommend this family owned funeral service to anyone who have to arrange a service for a loved one. Samira ensured the funeral ran seamlessly, and remained respectful and accommodating of our culture's traditions and rituals. After finalising the funeral details, we had a last minute request to honour our late family member's wish of wanting to return home one last time - Samira took my phone call outside of business hours and executed our request with utmost grace and professionalism. In 2022 I attended the funeral of my Brother in laws Mum carried out by Sam @ Millar Superior Funerals, what a very lovely day to farewell a beautiful lady. Sam, John and the team were outstanding for my grandfathers funeral on Saturday. They had arranged by grandmothers funeral 10 years ago, and my father's 8 years ago, I didn't help as much in the planning, I just remember it not hard to arrange with them. For my granddad service, nothing was to much trouble, from moving the date at the last minute to meet covid restrictions to arranging the most perfect floral arrangement. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

They are very compassionate and caring and made a very difficult time in our lives a little easier. The flowers they provided were exquisite and very fresh.
