Paloma is a great little Italian place that has most of the traditional dishes and pizzas that you would expect from a suburban restaurant. The servings were huge as you can see from the photos after we tried our best to dig in for 20 minutes. The flavour was spot on for my veal scallopini with white wine sauce. The atmosphere was relaxed and unpretentious. I would give more stars if they could have the dishes coming out sooner. We arrived at 5:45pm on a Saturday night and had to wait over an hour (almost 7:30pm) to eat after we ordered. The kid was hungry and tired. The other thing is about dietary requirements. I asked for no dairy like cheese and butter due to my skin condition but I could taste butter in the sauce of my dish. I was too hungry to send the dish back. Overall, I can see that we would go back again, but probably not on a busy Saturday night.

I don't usually do reviews but I'm going to review this. I moved to Wantirna about a year ago from an area where authentic Italian food was everywhere. I thought coming to Melbourne I would be able to find something similar, however to no avail. After trying several "italian" restaurants, I decided last night to give Paloma a go. Can I just say, this is the best italian food in Melbourne I have tried so far. The gnocchi was soft and home made, the sauce tastes like Nonna's and the pizza crust was perfect. The only thing I can comment on are there are too many topics and aussie style toppings but not everyone likes the traditional style so that's ok. Will definitely be a repeat customer from now on! Thanks for fixing my craving!

Such a wonderful hidden gem. Paloma is a nice cosy casual family style restaurant tucked in the eastern suburb of Wantirna South Melbourne. Delicious pizza with generous topping, good menu, great food and value for money, service is always friendly all our friends can’t wait to go back again.

Visited Paloma Pizza recently and had Dinner In the Restaurant. Do not be put off by the ambiance of this place as the food was very good and also the service was excellent. Our party of four all enjoyed our food and would return if requiring a quick service meal in the future.

Really can't praise Paloma Pizza and its owner enough! They recently catered for a special lunch that we held to thank our volunteers. The owner opened up shop especially and made the pizzas himself. Really went above and beyond! And delivered pizzas that everyone commented were more tasty, more generous, and more reasonably priced than competitors that we have used in the past. The staff were also very friendly and helpful over the phone. Super impressed by Paloma Pizza overall. And we will definitely be calling on them again for our future events :)

I'd read and heard some very positive feedback, so I had to come and try. The perfect opportunity arose when we had some basketball break up pizza here, close to State Basketball Centre. Over 20 of us descended in one hit (we booked), and the service and flow from the kitchen was superb! Great, delicious pizzas, high quality with great ingredients. The pastas were hearty, rich and fantastic too. All in a comfortable dining room perfect for couples, small or large groups. We'll definitely be back!

Went to this place once a few years ago and was completely turned off. Returned for the first time after hearing new management took over. What a change!!! Finally a local pizza place I feel happy to order and eat from. Food delicious, establishment very clean and appealing. Well done to the new team. You've got a new regular customer. Keep it up.

First time trying Paloma since they changed management couple years ago, disappointed the spaghetti bolognese pizza has been taken off the menu. But delighted how quick their service were despite high turnover of customers, good variety of pizzas available, and great for value too.

Nice place, just a classic pizza shop. The pizzas were fine, nothing special but they were a great deal for the price. They have great specials which are amazing value for money. The people working there are all lovely. I bought 9 pizzas and a young man offered to take half the pizzas out to the car with me which I appreciated.

Last night we had our sons first birthday dine in and what a lovely experience it was. The service was friendly and great, the food was simply fantastic! We have been getting take away for years from here and the pizza's are always great, however, they're next level when you have it moments after it comes out of the oven. Fantastic first-time experience! The Vulcan and Americana pizzas were both delicious. Highly recommended for takeaway, and I can't wait to try their Paellas next time! Great Pizzas/Pasta options.

I had never known of Paloma Pizza but they sponsor the local kids footy. My daughter won a coaches award, and it was free pizza. It was delicious, the staff were very pleasant and we will definitely be back as paying customers. Great work team, and thank you for your support of local footy.

The ambiance of the restaurant was incredibly cosy, the staff were all extremely friendly! The pasta is great but the pizza is amazing, the size and portion is very fair according to the price. Would definitely visit again. A senior staff member also gave me a drink on the house.

First time experience, absolute delicious pizza with generous topping. Not too oily, very balanced flavour. Forget about the topping-less pizza from chain store. I will definitely come back again.

Ordered pizza at 5.50pm told it’ll be 30 mins. Went to check in at 6.20 to be told it’ll be another 15 mins. Seriously not good walked out. Never again and it was our usual local.
