Peak Cycles were recommended through a local riding club located in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne in March 2021. I contacted Sean who talked me through various options based on my needs and budget. I was most impressed with the customer service and knowledge provided on the various models I was considering. I ended up purchasing a fabulous Trek road bike after completing a lengthy bike fitting service. I've since clocked up 100kms and have been thrilled with my purchase. The complementary 12 month servcing has also been wonderful to ensure all components are in check. Highly recommend Peak Cycles for the quality customer services and exceptional range of bikes catering all levels of riding. UPDATE - JANUARY 2024 Sean and team at Peak Cycles continue to provide an outstanding sales and maintinance services. My Emonda was serviced and completed on the same day (08 Jan 2024) as it was pre-booked. Upon pickup I was briefed on all findings and shown which components require replacing in the coming months. I called up wanting to purchase a bike as a surprise for my husband. I know nothing about bikes! Tom was incredibly helpful over the phone. I explained how the bike would be getting used and my price range, and he was able to recommend a bike. He even offered to exchange the bike, if for some reason my husband absolutely hated it (he didn't!). When I went to pick the bike up, I didn't realise that their closing time was earlier than I had thought it was. Sean called to check whether I was still picking the bike up (as it was for the following day, when they would be closed), and stayed back so I could pick it up. I am so incredibly grateful as it was a gift for Father's Day and I didn't have a back up! We have also purchased bikes for our kids from here, and I have also had my bike serviced with Peak Cycles. Each time, their service has been impeccable, and I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

Easily 5+ stars for the service and extra time the staff take to help out. The team have gone out of their way to help me when I had a problem and managed to get me back on the road. Their advice has been invaluable and one of the best things I did to help my riding was getting a bike fit done. I highly recommend getting a bike fit when you can as you'll appreciate the benefits. My only concern would be for purely selfish reasons in that if everyone else found out about how good this place is then it will get too popular.

Sean and the team provide mid to top end experiences (and bikes) with a very people oriented approach to customer service. While some bike shops can feel intimidating, these guys are super welcoming and have the ability to meet you where you are at on your cycling trajectory and help you make the most of your cycling goals. I ride a custom made bike and wouldnt take it anywhere else.

A huge thanks to Tom, who was simply amazing. Got to the shop just after they closed and was after two new tyres. Knocked on the door and lucky for me, Tom was still there. Not only did he let me in, he also fitted two new tyres and a tube all in 20mins to get me back on the road. What wonderful service and great attitude, So refreshing these days, thanks so much Tom, your a legend.

Google should let you do multiple reviews as you use a service over time. Peak Cycles know how important cycling is to me. They're always responsive and work hard to turn around my tight short timeline demands. They just did this for me yesterday fixing the free hub on my bike. I really appreciate how Gary took on my case so quickly and turned it around in the same day.

Very helpful service. I purchased a bike for my son in 2021 & found the advice was great. Only just got around to having it serviced for the first time & by chance was able to take the bike in same day. Within an hour it was ready to pick up again. I was impressed that they would still honour the first free service despite the fact that so much time had lapsed.

Picked up my new Checkpoint SL6 eTap gravel bike today - very impressed. Sean spent over an hour fitting me to the bike and even made sure my Wahoo Bolt worked with the new power meter - saved me endless hours google-ing no doubt. Took it for a spin on some gravel as soon as I got it home - corrugated roads and potholes never felt this good. Great work

Managed to find a Trek Al 2 Domane, despite the global shortage. The transaction was done swiftly and efficiently. Amazing work by Thomas and Gary at Peak. We thought our tyre and rim were destined for the scrap heap and a warranty claim needed but Thomas saved the day by managing to fix everything after another local bike shop could not help us. Had my road bike serviced by Gary and the team. While they certainly did a great job of the service and the bike feels brand new, I was even more impressed with how good they were to deal with. Fast, capable and even willing to offer helpful advice over the phone during stage 4 lockdown!
