"Despite someone getting mugged while we were here, as well as another person getting robbed only a few blocks away, the park itself is excellent"
"A good little park to sit in the sun or have a quick play on the seats and blocks"
"Located in a sunny corner of Collingwood, the location provides easy access to a range of both discrete and obvious drug dealers selling a wide variety of illicit substances beside the walls of bright and colourful artworks"
Cute park with a vital function of public open space in this busy area. One unfortunate aspect : the trendy seating design is showing tired signs of age. This awkward design seems to put showiness well above functionality or comfort and requires lots of maintenance to be clean and look OK. Which it's not getting.
I have a soft spot for these cosy inner city parks. The space is managed well, with room to picnic and a seated area too one side. When I stopped by one night food in hand a wonderful loop was being projected onto the side of the building that borders the park. Fantastic atmosphere at all hours.
Despite someone getting mugged while we were here, as well as another person getting robbed only a few blocks away, the park itself is excellent. Interesting and artistic seating only enhances the ambiance. Grass is well kept for an inner suburbs park.
A good little park to sit in the sun or have a quick play on the seats and blocks. Bins could be emptied more regulary. The Park is well used by all the local dogs so I don't recommend sitting on the grass without checking for foreign matter first!
Located in a sunny corner of Collingwood, the location provides easy access to a range of both discrete and obvious drug dealers selling a wide variety of illicit substances beside the walls of bright and colourful artworks. Be in awe of
Great little spot to relax, theve currently got the confined 14 displays on in partnership with Glen Eira council. There's artworks on display, with over 400 pieces being projected onto the building. All of which were produced by people
Incredible projection space just off Smith Street. When we visited, there was a haunting display by local artist Elizaveta Maltseva. Remarkable use of public space (and just across the road from Laser Pig!). Dog friendly too.
Very decent kebab served by friendly staff. I would recommend the chicken and just ask the to leave the fries and it will taste even better. The colonial brewery they have in the fridge is also very nice and tasty. Enjoy
It is a rather basic park, getting here is not particularly difficult by any means of travel, but it is rather bland and the park itself has little amenities around it, only some benches and some block seat objects.
Not bad, lacking a bit of imagination. Nice if you want to sit down and eat, grabbed a banh mi on Smith St and came here to enjoy it. There’s so park benches, 3-4 trees, some bins and that’s about it.
Stopped here to eat my lunch the other day (subway footlong on italian herbs and cheese, toasted). Nice park, i think part of a suite the city of Yarra has been doing along Oxford street.
It's fine. Grass is pretty trampled and I wouldn't feel confident sitting on the ground without some kinda barrier between you and the grass as it seems to be the local dog toilet.
Nice corner park with interesting ergonomic benches. Good to have a spot of lunch in the sun, although bring a hat as there is lack of big trees for shading.
Nice small park. Great change from the carpark that it was. Now has a major use as a dog toileting area for all the new apartments near by. Has seating.
Always full of litter and most of the bushes are dead. Unfortunately it's the only place near to home that we can take our dog for his quick walks.
Good place too meet other people with dogs, but sometimes there is the occasional drunk person laying there from a previous night out
I generally take my pets for a morning walk around this park but I still feel the maintenance of the park has to step up..
Great little patch of green in the concrete jungle. We need more of these urban parks in the city of Yarra
Great concept and space but in the middle of major works at the moment. Can't wait to see finished area!
Aka pee park, great spot to meet other dog owners taking their furry mates for a comfort break.
Fantastic venue. Great skate park, good car parking... well done council.
Nice little city park. Good for a small break away from Smith Street
Regrassing today so less park than normal, but lovely bit of sun
I go past there everyday and there's always a nice calm seat.
Nice little park area , for local businesses and residents
Cute little park perfect for a lunch break in the sun ☀️
Nice public space for a coffee and a catch up in the sun
Great park with seating for a small space.
Great green space - ideal for picnics
