I had heard such wonderful things about this place! I was so excited to try their pizzas and pastas! We called and booked a table all was fine, we got there and got seated. As it was a Sunday it was quite busy with take away orders but only 1 other family dining in. We looked at the menu and had all decided what we wanted, by the time we had decided on food no one had come to get our drink orders. We then waited because I had a lot of faith in this place and really wanted to try it. We ended up waiting approximately 30 mins and no one had served us. I then politely asked if someone could please serve us as we had been waiting a long time. The worker then said yes give me a minute. So we waited longer and finally they got the chef out of the kitchen to come and serve us. The chef then told us that they weren’t serving pasta anymore even though the only other table in the place had pasta. We were quite upset about that as they didn’t tell us that when we booked over the phone because we wouldn’t have came if we knew that was the case. Ended up leaving, got an apology from the chef but no apology from the owner or any other staff member that saw us there waiting and didn’t serve us. I still have faith in this place so I plan on going back and really hoping for better service!!

Update: over the passage of time, pizzacraft has lost its quality. I am so disappointed that this restaurant I once loved has routinely become worse and worse. Cross contamination (including meat in vegetarian meals) and major variation in product quality has become the norm. The once amazing gnocchi that I raved about has become powdery and tough. I hope that this restaurant can bounce back and learn to deal with its increased traffic whilst bringing back the quality that first drew customers in. -----‐--------- This is an excellent place! The staff were friendly and helpful, the place was very clean and the interior design is amazing. We ordered the Toorak Tractor and Gnocchi Napolitana. Both were amazing, but I have to say the gnocchi was the best I've had on the peninsula! The sauce was perfect, the gnocchi were just the right texture. It was like eating little pieces of heaven. When it came to the end of the meal we were extremely full, and had a little extra. Without even asking, a lady came from the back and offered to pack up our food for us. Overall Pizzacraft is amazing, and I would recommend it to anyone who asked me.

Wonderful ambience! 1st time there, and was not disappointed! Roberto was wickedly funny and was the perfect host for our special evening. He gave our large group some great recommendations for pizza, pasta and wine and his attentiveness and courtesy made for a great evening and made us really feel looked after. The meals were amazing and well-priced. The pizza is the best we’ve had in the area – Much nicer than many local offerings like 400 gradi in Mornington, which are far more expensive for worse quality and poor quality service from the wait staff there. Great prices, fresh food with a decent wait time. Nice for the family and for a date. Cool vibes and décor, and I can highly recommend this place to everybody who loves a good pizza or pasta with great service. Thanks, we will be back for sure!

We dined here for dinner on a Saturday evening a couple of weeks ago and the food was truly delicious, fresh and tasty! The potato gnocchi was so incredibly soft and melted in the mouth, simply perfect! Pasta dishes contained plenty of the chosen flavours and ingredients. The pizza was amazing!! The owner was down one chef and waiter, and offered a complimentary garlic & herb pizza for the length of time we waited for our meals, which was over 45mins. We didn't mind the wait at all, happily drinking and chatting with friends. The wait was definitely worth it! This place is tucked away from the main street in Mornington but it is truly one of the best places you will dine at. Will certainly be back again, and very soon! Thank you for your excellent customer service and brilliant food!

Great pizza, tastes healthy! Cute little restaurant too. However.... I order pick up from them quite often and I always dread having to call up because I literally have to shout down the phone to them so that they can hear me. It’s uncomfortable for me and the customer service leaves something to be desired. I’ve had them tell me to shout louder before... Having to repeat my phone number and name seven times while yelling into the phone isn’t great. I understand it’s a small restaurant and each time I’ve been there it’s very busy and loud, but can’t you step to the side or in the back for a minute when you answer the phone? Also, please please please look into getting delivery services!! I’d also appreciate a gourmet pizza range, give me that pumpkin pizza!! :)

The staff were absolutely incredible, especially the server with the plaid glasses (forgive me I don’t remember his name!) he was absolutely splendid to talk to. The place is beautiful and has so much life and character. You can tell the business is backed by real passion and an honest care for the customers experience. The food was delicious and my partner and I loved watching the food be prepared while we waited for our food (which came very quickly) I will definitely be returning and showing this beautiful little shop to my loved ones.

I am a vegetarian and there was many options and adjustments I did and could make to the menu items.

Normally I would give 5 stars for the food and service as this is my favourite place to order from...however tonight was a stuff up from start to finish. I tried to order online on the new app 1) name of pizza is there but no mention of what toppings are on them 2) could only add toppings not remove them. So I phoned. The 1st time I got a recorded message so I called again. I got very polite and friendly service but had to repeat myself. Delivery driver again was very polite, friendly and apologetic for being late...it's ok, I get it and the discount I received is good business...but the pizza was barely warm and the drinks were not the flavour I requested. You must be having 1 of those night huh...

Sorry but not a great pizza. Went there a couple of weeks ago and we were not impressed, doughy base and not cooked right though. So we said we will give them another go but to get one with not much toppings. Well I went there last night ordered my medium pizza, and they said it would be half an hour that's fine.. went back in ,in the time said and waited and waited and waited. Asked the young girl and she said she will find out where it is. Looks like they forgot it so all up I got my pizza in an hr. Not Verry happy. And guess what! Not great. Taste and doughy again. It's a pity as I love supporting local businesses. But will have to find another place.

Went to visit from out of town to visit relatives local to the area and they talked about this pizza place many times and regarded this the best in Mornigton. Finally decided to go when I went to visit, and really what a place! Our server with the red glasses (I do not remember his name) was amazing with both food and wine suggestions and both the pizza and beef lasagna was incredible – to die for! Really reminds you of a homecooked meal made with love and care rather than a bland “Restaurant experience”. The décor is also really cool and we all loved the snakes and ladders on the table! I highly this place to anybody in the area. Cheers.

The delivery order of a pepperoni and margherita pizza was a complete letdown. The pepperoni was overcooked and resembled burnt cardboard more than meat, while the margherita pizza was drenched in a sea of tasteless tomato sauce. $28 per pizza, super expensive so expected something gourmet….The crust was so tough that it felt like I was attempting to chew through a tire. To make matters worse, the pizzas arrived via Uber eats cold, making the entire meal even less appetizing. I wouldn't recommend Pizzacraft to anyone looking for a satisfying pizza experience, absolute trash pizza.

As a new chef to the area this local pizza shop was a true find. The shop decorations are modern and very welcoming which make it not your typical pizza shop. Funky menu with names of the dishes to excite you. I brought a few of my work colleagues in after work where we were made to feel welcome. We shared 3 pizza and 2 pastas which were recommendations from the owner. They did not disappoint. Light thin base pizza with just the right amount of topping. The gnocchi was one of the best i have ever eaten it was so light almost cloud like with delicate sauces that weren't over the top in richness. I would highly recommend this place.

Took a family of 5 to have dinner. Pizzas were amazing and probably the best I have ever had. I had a family sized Gladiator (the lot) and it was more than enough to satisfy me. Lots of toppings, and the base was the perfect thickness. Any pizza we couldn't finish we could take away. The pasta dishes we had were delicious. 5 stars. The staff were very friendly and professional. It was a great atmosphere. Pity I don't live in the area. Just guess I will have to come back when we are there next.

What a find! Absolutely deLICIOUS pizza - maybe the best I've ever had - but wait, there's more: First up, the aromatherapy of garlic, tomatoes, olive oil, anchovies, cheese melting, garlic, pizzas cooking and garlic, will get you in the mood...the Eating-Pizza-&-Pasta mood. When you order, you'll find the staff lovely, friendly and efficient. Also, this place is designed with a clever combo of old-school Italian eatery charm and modern/retro cool which makes for a very welcoming, comfortable feel. But back to those pizzas...they have to be the best in Mornington, if not the world. Do yourself a favour!

I actually can't rate this place highly enough. The food is absolutely stunning, whether you dine in or out. Pasta, pizza, calamari...all of it is perfection. The main thing for me however is that every single member of staff who works there is incredibly patient, kind and willing to help in any way they can. Beautiful food, beautiful vibe and very reasonably priced food. If I could find one slight minor issue, it would be that the water when you dine in would be nicer chilled....but that is really stretching myself to find fault. So glad we have found this place. A true gem on the Peninsula!

Pizza barely above average. Dreamo supremo used to be ok but now the prawns have shrunk to baby shrimp , you've killed it with overload sliced ham, the rest like capsicum , olives are drowned out. Thought you guys knew pizza - less is best] or at least a balance. Like ingredients cut in different sizes not like it's all mashed through a blender. Thought this pizza might cut it on the next day around but sadly no. I'll be down for another taste test soon.

The best atmosphere ever here, I took my partner here after having came here almost a year ago, it has still to this day never disappointed. Friendly and enthusiastic manager who made our dining experience perfect. We went to celebrate a birthday for mum at a time when we were all quite stressed and upset. The folks at pizza craft were wonderful,they made us feel at home (yet treated like VIPs) we were pleasantly surprised at the personal and friendly service and even more impressed with the delicious meals we all ended up sharing as we wanted to try all the meals. What a find in Mornington. We will be regulars! Garlic pizza is a must!

Got home and tore up the menu. ordered at 7pm got home at 8.45 with no food. From the time I phone ordered it wasn't the normal pleasant experience, arrived to pick up the order 1 hour later, not ready, the poor beautiful staff that we usually see were visibly unhappy, i asked if it was new owners they said yes, couldn't wait any longer and left, very sad to see, been a regular for a while but won't be returning. Bring back the old owners i say.

The best pizzeria in Melbourne without a doubt!! An elegant, charming restaurant with friendly staff, amazing food, great service, and reasonable prices! Had two family size pizzas: T-rex and Porky Pig, both were so yummy, really well cooked, top-notch ingredients! You can find a great variey of pizzas here! The chef gave us a free bowl of chips! Appreciate it! Thanks agian for making a really great night for your Persian guests! Highly recommended!

Last night 11/02/23 4 of us dinned in . We all had a pasta dish and the servings were very generous and flavoursome, and shared a large pizza which was delicious. Loved this restaurant. Very friendly staff and the food was supurb. We received a free pizza for entre on arrival as they made one by accident, and why dispose of a perfectly good pizza?! For main I had vegetarian lasagne, one friend had pizza and another friend had pasta. We were all thoroughly satisfied with our food and the service. I can wait to go back next time I'm in Mornington, the gnocchi from what I hear, is A+

Long time customers for takeaway but first time dining in today. Very friendly service by the owner and staff. We had an entree garlic pizza and the linguine marinara and penne pollo funghi. Absolutely delicious!!! Simon was lovely, had a great chat followed by a garlic pizza that came out on the house! The pizzas were flavourful without an overload of toppings, and the pasta was so tasty and very generous portions. The homemade gnocchi was probably the best I've ever had; so light and fluffy! Also served beautiful local wines at very reasonable prices. Will be coming back often!

I’ve finally found some authentic Italian food on the peninsula. The pizzas were amazing. The linguine marinara was the best I’ve ever had, cooked to perfection and just how my nonna used to make it. We didn’t have a booking but staff were happy to find us a table and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend!

recommended to give this place a visit by another restaurant owner (we thought - must be good right!!) Absolutely Amazing!!!!! The decor is quirky & comfortable- staff were very friendly and the food was fantastic. The fresh gnocchi is devine, the cheese&garlic pizza was light&fluffy and my husbands pizza was a huge hit! we will definately be back and were bringing our friends!!!

Friendly staff, great food and a cosy venue. The Parma is a solid size especially at the sub-$20 price point, and good variety in pizzas (and sizes). The owner was even kind enough to offer us fries while we wait during a busy time, and staff were always keen to check in and chat. Definitely worth a visit if you're down this way, and congratulations on the 1 year anniversary!

Stumbled upon this rare beauty by sheer coincidence. Now it's my go to Pizzeria & Pasta restaurant. Food is amazing every time & the staff are extremely friendly & accommodating - not to mention the owner (Simon) is a fantastic host & a true gentleman. Recommend thoroughly. Tried pizza craft for the first time today after finding the shops near me in MtMartha aren’t what they used to be! This is definitely my new pizza shop! Best pizzas we’ve had in a very long time! Since moving to Mornington and was recommended to try Pizzacraft. What a find, delicious pizzas with multiple choices at very reasonable prices, great staff. Can’t wait till it opens again for in-house dining. But in the meantime I’m just happy to get them online. The ordering system is also dead easy and convenient.

Tried this a few times as others rave about it. Pizza is always too greasy to be edible. Service is slow. Ordered online on all 3 occasions and they ran past the scheduled pickup time by 10-15 mins every time. I wouldn't mind the wait if the pizza was good

Pizza and pasta were both delicious. I had a linguine with prawns and chorizo as a main. It was oily but extremely delicious. Staff was friendly and gave us free fries for finding all the Wallys on the table (the table was lined with Where's Wally pages). Can't wait to come back here again.

Fabulous Pizza! I can gladly say best I've EVER had. Quality toppings and flavour was sensational. Highly recommended to move out of your comfort zone and definately try this shop. Eating in is an additional bonus with amazing atmosphere, should be located on Main St it's super cool.

I came here to eat after seeing other great reviews on Google. From the start we had great service and the pizza was excellent. I would be very happy if this was my local pizza shop. The only let down was the pasta we ordered, it was good but not great. Would happily eat here again.

Had dinner there tonight, spaghetti bolognese was yummy not runny would highly recommend. The pizza was delicious but needs more sauce, a bit dry for me. Also the dough should not be as thick. Besides that would recommend this place to anyone. Authentic Italian cuisine at its best.

Delicious traditional style pizza, with modern twists on traditional recipes. We shared a "Friday Night" and the Linguine Marinara, both were amazing but the Linguine was one of the best I've ever had... Relaxed comfortable atmosphere and kid friendly!

Cute cosy home style feeling. Very kid friendly with a table that has a chess top :-) We ordered linguine with chorizo and prawn and the gnocchi with mushrooms ... yum!!! Highly recommend this place for families because the staff was also very sweet.

Food is exceptional! Even the fussiest eater in our household said his pizza was the best he'd ever had. Well set out restaurant with a good vibe and friendly staff. Definitely recommend you give this place a try. Great work guys and girls …

From all the reviews, I think we might be in a parallel universe. We called to book a table, the guy on the phone, seemed distracted, and not particularly friendly. Were local and have wanted to give this place a go for ages. This place

What a fantastic experience, the pizza dough was well proved and when cooked was lovely and aerated and defiantly not wet. Generous toppings of a very good quality and defiantly tasty. Great service 10/10 Highly recommended.

I'm not sure what's happened, but the last two times we have ordered pizza from Pizza craft it has arrived late and cold! We shouldn't have to reheat in the microwave before we eat! Dissatisfied customer!

The staff here are amazing! We had a bad day and arrived in Mornington late. When we arrived the kitchen was closed but they made us a pizza anyway. Will definitely be visiting any time we're down!
