We used to recommend this place and their HSP’s to our friends, but as of tonight we won’t be going back. Such a shame, as we only put up with their customer service issues because of how nice their food is. They never prepared our food any time after we phone ordered, defeating the whole purpose of calling before we picked it up. They always said it would take 15 minutes, but even after giving them 20 minutes they still would not have prepared the empty packs. So our 15 minute wait would always turn into 30 minutes, may as well have just turned up and ordered at the counter. Last week on Saturday night, there weren’t even any staff members in the store preparing ANY food, let alone ours. Once again it was the usual call in advance, only to be made waiting. Another waste of time. I waited for an extra 10 minutes in the store, and this time I observed the manager speaking to her staff rudely and abruptly; demanding that they go and get her the second eftpos machine, further delaying our food. She should’ve seen that her staff were under the pump and gone and gotten it herself; not all tedious tasks need to be delegated, especially if the staff are already running around. Due to being flustered, the staff bagged up our order very poorly; the manager had two of the packs rebagged (which I was grateful for at the time), however she still let me leave with a dodgy bag. She told me to be careful, whilst loudly chewing her gum with her mouth wide open; when I was trying to keep my eyes on the road, one of the HSP’s that was packed sideways burst open, and sauce went all over my passenger door and seat. Our cousin called up after we ate to give the manager the feedback; he complimented the food and said it was great, but more attention should’ve been paid to the way it was packed. He was very calm and collected speaking with her, and said she was fine on the phone also. He asked her what she could do for us to rectify the situation, and she agreed she would put us down for 2x free HSP’s the following week under my name. Everybody was happy. My partner called up tonight to redeem our HSP’s, but the manager (who answered the phone) suddenly had no recollection of this offer, and refused to let us have them. He informed her that he was on his way. He got there and she saw him walk in; he heard her say to her staff “I’m not dealing with this”, so another staff member was made to serve him. She informed him that the manager wasn’t in, to which he replied “Oh, that’s funny, I just spoke with her on the phone”. The staff member could only smile at him, because he was right. She hid up at the back of the store in plain sight. He told them that we won’t be back, and left. We only went back this week to receive what was promised, we’re not surprised that it didn’t happen. We went to Paks Kebabs instead, and to our surprise we paid less and got better quality and quantity of food and service.

Just came from your shop. Placed order and you tried to overcharge me before asking, I cought you and ask to remove cheese.. Then you told me 5 min wait. I went outside. Put fuel from your neighbour 7 eleven,paid him and even clean my windows, and came. Back to you after 10 min, The other guy was there now and he said 2 more min, I then again went outside waiting and came back after another 5 min... Still my hsp not ready. Dude... What you think... I never been as aggressive as iam today. You take the order and then went to the other store for working there which appears u run 2 shop at same time... But at what cost??? Above review.. 2 months old. 04 may 2019. I went again into your shop... I place the order over the phone and came to u after 10 min in a hope that it will be ready as it took ages to you last time. But when I arrive, you asked me to pay... I paid and only then you started. As you broke the lid of container and I asked you to close the container of my hsp properly... You didn't do it... Instead telling me.. It won't go anywhere... I mean this was the presentation of the food... That I had to give to someone and with a open container... YOUR SHOP NAME SHOULD BE RIPPER CUSTOMER... YOU DON'T DESERVE... and I won't come ever again to u...

About 6-7 months ago I gave a 5 star review of Ripper Kebabs in Pakenham and proclaimed it was the best kebab joint in the town! Unfortunately though, the last couple of months, the quality has dropped significantly. It's not so much the quality of the food, but more so the preperation! In a "premium" kebab I'm finding huge, disgusting, uncut chunks of lettuce and onion. The lamb is scarce, dry and if they're putting garlic sauce in there, it's barely noticeable. I wish I could say this was a once-off experience, however, this sort of quality has been consistent now for a couple of months. Although disappointing, I'm not at the point were I'd never order from Ripper Kebabs again, but I don't think I'll be placing another order for a while in the hope that at some point in the near future the quality will rise up to the supreme standard it once was a few months ago.

Gone downhill really quickly :( We used to love this place, the last few times we've been there the guy who was usually there and isn't, and the food has turned really poor. Last time our chips were burnt and had been cooked 2 or 3 times over... today our HSP container literally broke it had that much oil and went everywhere. It was that oily we couldn't eat it. Watching the women cooking Tonight, they pull the chips from the fryer straight into packaging, don't let it drain and feeding us a bucket of deep fryer oil. The women are rude, especially the one with the bun who has hair hanging out at the front dangling in everyone's food, makes you feel very unwelcome EVERY SINGLE TIME. You make a phone order, get told a time to pick up, but they start making your food after you arrive, completely defeating the purpose of a phone order. It's sad to see it turn this bad, cause we used to drive 20 mins just for a feed!

Worst kebab meat I've ever had. Ordered a premium mixed meat and rice with garlic sauce on the side. I didn't realise till we got home that it wasn't mixed. Just had lamb, which would've been fine but the meat was so dry I could barely chew it. Looked like cheap cuts also and the garlic sauce was basically a liquid not a sauce. Crazy think is that this cost me $62 for 2 people, no sides just the meat and rice, something we couldn't digest. My partners one had the same issue. Had to bin it, such a waste. Will never go back.

I had to edit my original review out of dissapointment. I have ordered a few times now and the last few times have been pretty bad. I see in the menu the rebranding of the products "premium" which is far from it. The fries were burnt to an absolute crisp which the resteraunt tried to hide by topping it with additional meat which was full of fat. Had a couple of bites and had to throw the rest out and get a refund from the delivery partner. The chewy texture and the burnt chips were just to much.

Extremely dissatisfied on my last visit. I ordered the tandoori kebab meat - large sized container which costs nearly $30.00 and the meat wasn't even cooked properly. Ended up throwing it out as I didn't want to get food poisoning. If we're going to be charged an unreasonably high price for a small container of meat, then I expect it to be cooked properly. A one star rating is more than reasonable considering the health and safety issues of eating uncooked meat.

the food is very tasty but one of the ladies middle height black hir bun on her head all the time she has attitude issues. i ordered at 4 pm for pickup around 6pm. i was a little late still my order wasnt ready. thats fine i waited for my food to get ready. when i asked why was it not ready the front lady was nice and gave a good explainatio. and iwas fine but the other lady was rude and said whats the problem from the back when it was not her place to say but her attitude was not acceptable. one star down just because of her

If I could give a minus I would. My niece ordered 7 kebabs and only 6 arrived. She called the store to be called a liar by the staff member who said she knew that 7 had been packed. When we finally got to speak to the manager he said that it takes 20 minutes to do the particular kebab that was ordered and missing. Funny how our order was delivered in 15 minutes. The staff need to lose their attitude and have more respect for customers. Never will we order from there again. The kebabs were pretty sub standard as it was.

Ordered a small chips and mixed kebab with lettuce, onion, tomato, chilli flakes with garlic sauce and chilli sauce. The chips were so good. Perfectly salted with a nice crunch on the outside and fluffy potato on the inside(my perfect chip). The kebab was also great, not over-sauced, fresh onion, lettuce and tomato and plenty of meat that was also super tasty. While it wasnt the biggest kebab i've had in the area, it was definitely the tastiest. I think i've found my new go-to joint for a solid kebab. Good job Ripper

Purchased chicken with rice, garlic sauce and chilli sauce. Place is nice and clean. Has a variety of menu choices to suit everyone. Soft drinks fridge with variety of choices. Fairly busy, fair average service. Mine was takeaway, generous portion of chicken and rice. Disappointed with the rice and chicken as no favour even with the two sauces. Chicken was very dry and rice had no taste. Maybe next time try lamb or tandoori chicken tikka. Busy with home delivery so seems popular in Pakenham.

We’ve been buying from this shop for a while. But today we have discovered that the food was so oily and so hard to eat. We also found that in the food there was a piece of metal. We tried to contact them a couple of times to let them know about what we had found in our food but they didn’t answer. Overall I don’t think we will buy from Ripper Kebabs again.

Me and my partner ordered the premium meat and rice which ended up being over $60 just for 2 meals and no drinks and chips was abit of a shock. Amazing taste and great value for money... I have eaten HSP and chips many times and find the taste much better than most of the restaurants... My recommendations is to give it a must try... Not much happier with the last trip. I have changed the rating from 5 star to 3 star, the reason is: in big HSP, more than 60% was chips and very few amount of cheese. The top was covered with chicken layer only should not be more than $13-15 while it was $23/- total waste of money.

I've been coming here since the beginning. I fill up at 7/11 next door and grab a kebab or 2. In the last few purchases the quality has dropped. my kebab has been dry and tasteless. I went to Ripper kebabs and spent around $50 and I will never ever go again and never recommend this shop to anyone. The HSP was not fresh and he used stale wedges instead of chips. His reason was he had run out of the normal chips without notifying me. He promised to replace the HSP with out charge next time but broke his promise. Yeah the foods good and filled well but the staff seem lazy. There's no point calling these guys because the food isnt even started until your inside trying to find someone to help you (our chips only got put into the fryer once we arrived). We called 15minutes in advance and were told its a 10minute wait but there was a woman mopping but no one else and no one had even thought to make the order. Seems lazy and unprofessional bad service.

Few things. $26 for kebab coke and chips.. little pricey. I paid but then half of items I selected werent in it. So was soggy and bland. Not good sorry. Even when it's empty they still give U stupid buzzers, how about bring the food to us a few steps away or call our name. Need to improve guys sorry.

Completely full containers for hsp, literly couldn't get any more in. Always taste great. Only 1 downfall, if you call to order so you don't have to wait when you get there don't bother, they don't make your order untill your there, their excuse is they want it fresh and crunchy chips (understandably) just if I'm late and it's soggy that should be on me for being late, it defeats the point of calling to order then pick up

Worst service ever 2 hours wait for a delivery that never came, I ended up driving there myself to find out what was going on as they wouldn't answer the phone, no apology no resolution, rude staff, I asked for the manager but of course he/she wasnt available, my order was only $35 but they still wanted to charge me $37.50, as if, and my poor kids were looking forward to trying their food. Just purchased kebabs from here.. they were not nice at all. very oily and the meat had no flavour, very processed meat. The whole kebab was covered in oil, I couldn't eat it without tasting oil the entire time. Whole order itself was disappointing as the 2 bottles of Fanta we bought were flat and out of date too. Will not be returning, they used to have great food when they first opened... not anymore.

Echoing the other recent reviews, seems likely that there is new operators here. Kebab below average, dry meat limp salads and light on the sauce. Used to make this a must stop on my way back east but i won't stop here again. Store also didn't have a bin anywhere for customers to use.

The first time i to went ripper kebabs they where unbelievably good fresh so i decided to go back again not happy at the least 1 of the workers came from out the back somewhere where he didn't wash his hands took money off a customer and touching the till /computer then proceed to make my kebab i dont know where his hands have been very unhygienic and against health department regulations

Quality and consistency of kebabs have dropped. We recently ordered 2 chicken kebabs. One of them was missing the other sauces we ordered. Most annoying part was that 1/3 of the kebab was just chicken skin. Literally pulling out mushy chicken skin bits from our mouths every second, which was very unpleasant. Never going back there again since it seems like the quality is a hit or miss.

Terrible.. how hard is it to get an order right. My hubby ordered HSP with Chilli, Mayo, and bbq sauce but instead received just chips with dry meat. He cant even eat it! NOT GOOD ENOUGH. Very disappointing!!!!! And to make things worse we cant get any sort of refund as you have stated to Uber eats you provided what we asked for! Seriously?! Never again!

Ordered yesterday a Large mixed meat with rice. Took it home and saw it’s a medium. 2/3 is filled with rice and few pieces of meat. Charged me for cheese but there wasn’t any.Been there when the owner’s making food and he’s very generous. This new lady’s going to kill the customer base.

When you get a kabab that's been steamed the wrap is wet and the lettuce wet floppy like cabbage and you message them ask whats going on and they say its normal you give what they deserve, the review as good as the food they deliver!

Giving 3 stars as it's a hit and miss, my partner and I used to order all the time but have slowly stopped as their food quality has dropped tremendously, chips are soggy, gravy is flavoured water and kebabs, barely toasted.

Service was great, atmosphere great. Could’ve put more cheese on the kebabs as we do have to pay extra for it, couldn’t see nor taste it which is disappointing and amongst all the salad but otherwise always good food here.

Possibly one of the worst kebab I've had and the most expensive . Was hardly warm , had heaps of meat but (not fresh) and I got chips and a drink for $27.. I used to rate this shop highly now ad to say it's terrible.

Definitely does not make a ripper kebab. Basically a default kebab maker. Would not recommend unless it's at the end of the night and you're pissed and cannot tell the difference between a good or bad kebab.

Great food and excellent customer service. Never had a problem in the time I've come here.

All asked for wedges and got charged for them with my HSP and got chips instead not happy
