Absolutely appalled at the level of service received from this station both today and last week Thursday January 16th 2020. The constables were preoccupied on their mobile phones and only assisted me after 10min of standing there even though I was the only person there. Today I went to get a police clearance I was told that it's from 8.30am to 3.30pm, I arrived at 2.50pm and I was told that they only operate until 2.30pm even though there's a sign that states otherwise. The officer then proceeded to continue with her phone call which didn't seem as though it was work related (By the sounds of it) I angrily said thank you and proceeded to leave the room but she called me back and gave me forms to complete at home to make it easier when I arrive at 8am tomorrow morning. The service is horrible and officers are disinterested in their jobs. I honestly don't trust them to do their jobs to the best of their ability and I certainly don't feel safe having them as my police officers.

I had the best experience at this police station. Everyone was friendly and they all treated me with respect. The officer who helped me with my statement was professional and I had my case number sent to me within 40 min. One thing that does however need some attention is the queueing system. There is only one line of people and you don't really know who is waiting for what. It will help if there is someone filtering the queue telling them where to go. Beside that I had a very pleasant experience here.

Phoned several times they never pick up. After 15 calls a female constable picks up when I ask for her name she cuts the call. There's a party few doors from me . Alcohol and no masks are worn .there are a large number of people there and it sounds like gambling while they blocked the street. Besides covid and large number gatherings, no masks are worn by anyone and there is no social distancing. There is no help to get from the roodepoort police station. Pathetic.

If I could give zero stars I would have. Not that this review would make any difference in the service from police. But this specific police station is absolutely revolting. We got screamed at to go out side due to covid. Then we got told to please leave as the back people have first right to be served, we need to come back a next time. Went back the next day to be told white people are not welcome here we should go to a white police station. How disgraceful

Sady very poor service once again.was sent from post to pillar, finally I spoke to Office Ramosa who was in charge on the 27.02.19 at 6:30pm had no respect or manner of speaking to a person. He was very reluctant to assist with opening a case of theft. And said I could not open a case. This matter will be escalated in regards to opening of the theft case and the no assistance from office Ramosa at florida SAPS

Went to DFO in the morning only to find out they closed until 13:00 for a meeting. Went back at 14:15 only to be told by the DFO they closed for the day and I must come back tomorrow. The kicker is that I phoned several times and was constantly engaged. Only to be told that there phones aren’t working. But I needed to go to Florida police station to find that out!!! We serve and protect…. Ourselves!!!!

Sad to say, but the service is such a sad reflection of the person who runs this station. They should retire him. The staff that really work hard to produce good service, have to carry those who sit around and do sweet nothing,, of feel for the hard workers. They should tKe a page from Honeydew police station, and jack up their services. So bad... so standard.

Two days in a row where I've tried calling, with no answer. Pathetic. The times I've been there, you always have to walk around looking for personnel, because they're always in another office talking to their buddies rather than being in office working and andwering their phones. No use in telling them to fix it, because why should they?

Officer ndlovu is pretty cool. I was there submitting an accident report. The first time and I was damn nervous hearing all the horror stories in this country. I got very professional service and the man has a sense of humor. Thanks for a decent experience.

The staff here work efficiently and I'm so so grateful for the service rendered by everyone I met there. But special mention needs to be made of Sargent Mabasa. You, sir, are a credit to the service and the profession.

Pathetic service, they answer the call and have their own conversations then cut the call. I tried over 10 times thereafter and there is no answer. WHAT KIND OF SERVICE IS THIS, AND THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOTHING ABOUT IT

They never did a road block during the other levels. Lot people in Maraisburg were having parties and even tho there's still a curew they don't do anything or do any neighborhood watches. Pathetic.

Terrible service from SAPS, the officer who answered the phone is extremely rude from the get go. Our police has truly degraded to that of no confidence... Not happy at all.

Unhelpful sullen disinterested are only a few adjectives to describe the cops here. They are all on the take and unless you bribe them they not interested in you at all.

I just made a call about people disturbing peace in my vicinity and I got shunt off like a dog. Thanks saps for keeping the peace. I love this country!

I reported a buglary case on Thursday 22 November to this day i'm still waiting for someone to come take finger prints.
