The star rating reflects the fully automatic wash system only. Automatic wash is below standard and waste of money in my opinion. Doesn't wash under body, doesn't dry the car and charge $15 for the premium wash selection wich has a rainbow was option. It still leaves dirt on the car especially around wheels, mirrors, other corners and windscreen marks. Since it doesn't have the dry function I found unwashed soap left around the door edges, boot eyes and etc. On the other hand Manual hand wash is very good and has recently being updated with card payment facilities too. Reply to the owner below: I've been generous and up the stars to 3 from 2. But I can see others also was not happy with the touchless system. May be that bay is better served as another manual wash bay or reduce the price of the touch less wash and reflect it's only suitable for lightly dirty vehicles only.

One vacuum made at the right noises but didn't actually suck. Another was good, but after I ran out of credit, it wouldn't start again, despite taking my money. Although they state they accept PayWave, only those two vacuums do, and the change machine only takes notes. I don't carry cash, so it's really not worth the hassle. I'll find another car wash that can actually provide a full service. Update: Ross called me back a couple of hours later and took my feedback well. He's going to fix the vacuum and has refunded the overcharged amount. What a great way to re-gain customer trust! Because of that experience, I'll give Shiners Preston another go.

Manual wash works well and has card options. The vacuums still require change and haven't yet been converted to use cards. The auto wash is a bit lack luster. $15 for a 'Deluxe' wash that didn't clean my car thoroughly, nor did it have under body wash, wheel wash or even dry. Other car washes around the area offer those features for the same price. You might as well go for the $10 option are get the same results. It's conveniently located along Bell Street with the entrance off a side road.

Hi I washed my car at the touch free laser last month and it was great. Came back last week paid $18.50 with (surcharge for credit card). Took money from card and then wasnt able to wash card and told to exit. Was also unable to get receipt. Have evidence on my banking app that I paid with. Called the mobile number displayed twice, left messages no response. Texted and no response. Please assist with providing a refund. It occurred 5.45pm on 31/12/ 21

Upgraded review to 4 stars after receiving response from owner around installation of paywave in Bays 3 and 4. Old review text from 2019 - Australia is supposed to be a tap and go payments nation. Though this place is in a million dollar suburb, it has no card payment option. There is a change machine but it doesn't accept the 50 dollar bill. Ended up just using the vacuum with the couple of coins I had and left.

Thought I'd try this place to quickly wash my car. No need for change at the washing station - pay by card. All the settings worked as expected - my only criticism is the over head arm would not do a complete 360° turn and I would have to walk back. Might have been the station I pulled into. It might have been the 2nd or 3rd bay from the side street. Thanks - was trying to go clockwise around the car

I washed my truck here on 6/12/22. The foaming brush left thick grease on the body of my white vehicle that would not come off. I came home and used kerosene to try to clean it off and was unsuccessful. I ended up using a specialist paste. Also have been charged the apparent “preauthorisation” amount of $15.50 a full six days after using the car wash and the $7.50 I paid on the 6th

I ended up having to wash my car again after going through the touch free car wash. It cleaned the top of the car pretty well but on the bonnet and both sides beneath the door handles it was still dirty with lines of water dripping through the dirt. Good as a 'rinse' but leaves all the dirt on your car and does not wash the wheels at all.

! UPDATE - got through on their phone number & received a full refund in a timely manner Usually a reliable - but just paid $18.50 for a deluxe wash that was worse than the $14 one I usually get. Car isn't clean, no waxes, none of the extra steps were provided actually & calls went to message bank. Expect a refund asap.

Stopped im to clean my car, was very very busy 5 hand wash stations 1 auto drive through all full. Car vaccume and scent stations full also. Being on bell street this has two entrances and is quite visible you can get change or pay by card. You can also buy accessories for your car..

The service was incredible, the person who helped me went above and beyond! After I went through the automatic car wash he hand washed all the caked on muck that wasn't totally cleaned off and got rid of leaves that were stuck in the windshield and in the tires. Thank you very much!

Under new management! The new owners are absolutely wonderful. They are generally always on site, super helpful and friendly and ensure that all machinery is running smoothly. They also have PayPass machines which is great if you don't have cash! Highly reccomend!

Always come here to wash my car. I have tried both the automated and manual wash bays. Both are very convenient. I wish that there is some kind of drying equipment in the manual-wash bay though. Other than that, I definitely recommend Shiners Jet wash.

Warrants 5 stars. Facility is really accessible/clean. Importantly, lighting & visibility are better than near all other self-service sites I’ve seen. Payment options are pretty easy and convenient. Can’t fault - highly recommended!

The DIY is pretty good value. Been to numerous other carwashes with the exact same equipment that give you far less time per dollar. Also the first I've been to that offers those big clips so you can hose down your floormats. Noice!

We washed our camper van here, it was over 7m long and 3.5m high and fit in no worries. Great service, everything worked as it should. Didn't cost too much and was conveniently located close to the Big4 in Coburg that we stayed at.

Great car wash. Has everything you would need to do a quick self wash for your car. The bay that I used, didn't have a working card reader but they did have a change machine just around the corner.

I won't be going back there in a hurry that's for sure. I washed my van there today & it actually looked worse after the wash. They must be using dirty water. It left dirty streaks all over my van.

Using Mastercard has been charged for $15.50 (debit card) as per-authorisation fee, doing a decent job depends on each individual car. It’s confirm $5.50 for 5 minutes was charged accordingly.

Tried the laser wash $18 on 2 seperate cars, to be honest it doesn’t clean that well. Expect abit better for that price.
