I was on a day out with my friends eating at a nearby sushi restaurant. We went in the evening to late night. It was a great time, and we later took a stroll around the city on foot. By the time we returned to our cars it was quite late, and that was when I unfortunately found out that my car remote battery died. If I lock my car using the remote control, it must be unlocked from the remote control. However my remote control died. If I open my car using my key, my alarms will blare. If I start the car, it will continuously beep like crazy. It was probably going on for about half an hour and I was stranded, it was late night and most stores were closed at this point. It was around 10-11. One of my friends who stayed behind to help me, showed me the way to this Shoppers Drug Mart nearby. Luckily Shoppers is open until 12 am. I met staff who were very helpful, who showed me to a car remote battery and even found a small screwdriver to open my car remote. This was a few months ago and I am still grateful.
A sick family member of mine was trying to get information regarding a prescription medication that was being prescribed and received nothing but miscommunication and rudeness from the pharmacist that answered the phone. She was so rude that my family member is now having anxiety to even go back to this location or even deal with another shoppers pharmacy in general. I truly believe in this day and age that staff should be properly trained to communicate with patients. It’s crazy to think that these pharmacist forget that the people coming in are patients and not customers. Do better please!
Do not buy food from here. They sold me a block of cheese that is five weeks past the best before date and the most they've said is that they're sorry. Edit: Just got back from returning the cheese. The store clerk grabbed my shoulder and asked me if I've never made a mistake. I said not one that endangers people's health and to get your hand off me, you didn't have permission to touch me. He didn't like that and told me I could leave. Beware returning items if you have an issue with being touched.
I have long crazy hair, acne and I am skinny. I have been accused of stealing multiple times. I think these employees need to stop judging people of off the way they look. It’s extremely embarrassing to be accused multiple times of stealing. I go there frequently to purchase items and am always kind to the employees. It’s honestly a spit in the face. Instead of being treated like a customer I am treated like a criminal. I don’t have this issue anywhere else
Called them at 7 pm to get a flu shot yesterday. Went to the pharmacy 15 minutes later and the pharmacist says come tomorrow. I am like I called you people, then he goes I must have called a different store. I showed him the phone number I called and then his response was someone from different department must have answered the call. Rather than apologizing or doing his job the guy kept lying. Going to stay from pharmacies where people like this work.
They didn’t put a sign saying no return. And giving a reason as every individual shopper has their own rule. The the woman gave me her manager’s card ask me to call manager instead solving the problem herself. Because she said she was not sure of the rule and she can’t do return anyway. There’s nothing on the receipt saying I can’t do return unless when the manager is there. They are just playing the customer around.
Shoppers Drug Mart is my go-to spot, and recently, Amita went above and beyond in helping me find the perfect perfume. Her friendly guidance and knowledge made the selection process a breeze. The store's diverse fragrance collection combined with Amita's excellent customer service made for a fantastic shopping experience. Big shoutout to Amita for making my visit extra special!
We got treated so beautifully here. Our hearts are full ( ... of warmth ) .❤️ Stepped into the perfume section. A dark skin gentleman ( security ) approached us. Then asked if he could get the Beauty boutique lady for us. And he did. ☺️ She attended to us with so much grace. The visit was smooth & straight to the point.
Everytime I’m in for anything regarding prescriptions, and or amenities. Either I’m followed, or I see other indigenous people followed around the shop. Makes my experience, and others really uncomfortable. I highly recommend the security this location contracts out too, to take cultural training regarding First Nations people.
Customer service is usually slow in this branch. My last visit was embarrassing. Chinedu was really rude, the way he is communicating with customers is absolutely disrespectful. He made me feel so bad. After our conversation, I will never come here again.
I occasionally go to this shpppers just to play tag with the security guard everywhere i go. literally unfortunately every time i step into this shoppers am I instantly followed and watched. i specifically noticed when i was looking at hair
This pharmacy location always has problems. I once went with my brother who is immunocompromised to get a COVID shot done here when they opened up booster availability to those that are immunocompromised. Pharmacists were extremely rude and
Having this particular Shoppers in our hood has been nothing short of a blessing for me. As a caregiver I appreciate all the assistance I receive - from the pharmacy (who truly takes care of us) to the Post Office (who goes above & beyond)
This review is for the pharmacy at this shoppers, if your doctor faxes them a prescription make sure you call them to tell them to check their fax because they are not capable of doing it themselves. (If you’re lucky enough for them to be
Employees at this location have the tendency to make up their own coupon policy, not following company guidelines. When presented with a copy of the company policy, they twist their explanations so that it aligns with their "policy". When
Very friendly pharmacy, a sometimes a little busy but they’re always able to help! The beauty consultants are also very helpful and make sure products work for me, and that I have the answers to any of my questions.
Generally short waits for meds, short lines (waited longer the odd times), and good product selection. Sneaky parking in the back. I get beauty products and my cats meds here mostly. The pharmacy team is great.
I am fed up with the service I have received over the last few years. I have spoken with the owner Dapheni more than once over the years about the issues I am experiencing with her store. Nothing has changed.
Repeatedly rude and disrespectful pharmacists and pharmacy staff. They also stick multiple labels onto eachother like floppy flags on the pill bottles - strange.
Nice place to shop, get prescriptions and do business with Canada Post.
