Tatterson Park is a large park in Dandenong, Australia, with a variety of amenities for all ages. The park includes a playground, picnic areas, barbecue facilities, walking trails, and a sports field. There is also a fenced dog park, but the large old dog park is currently closed for redevelopment. The new dog park is located on the north side of the park, near the playground. It is about half the size of the old dog park, but it is just as nice. The park is fully fenced and has a variety of features to keep dogs entertained, including agility equipment, a water fountain, and plenty of trees for shade. I recently visited the new dog park with my dog, and we both had a great time. The park was clean and well-maintained, and there were plenty of other dogs to play with. My dog particularly enjoyed the agility equipment, and I appreciated the fact that there was plenty of shade for us to rest in. Overall, I was very impressed with the new dog park at Tatterson Park. It is a great place to take your dog for a run and play, and it is sure to become a popular spot for dog owners in the area. Here is a more detailed review of the dog park: The park is fully fenced and has two gates, one for large dogs and one for small dogs. There is a variety of agility equipment in the park, including hurdles, tunnels, and ramps. There is a water fountain for dogs to drink from. There are plenty of trees in the park for shade. There are several benches for dog owners to sit on. There are waste bags and bins available in the park. Overall, I highly recommend the new dog park at Tatterson Park to dog owners in the area. It is a great place to take your dog for a run and play, and it is sure to become a popular spot.

A wonderful children's playground in the fantastic Park. Playground features equipment for all ages. Sandpit. Water play. Big slides. Small slides. Climbing. Swings. Digger. Tables. Undercover area. Table and chairs. Lots of space for picnics. Musical instruments. Statue bugs - ants, spiders and lady bugs. Soft ground surface. And tanbark. Large area near oval. Flying fox. Really well equip. Bathrooms. Couldn't ask for more from this park.. Beautiful spacious park, equipped with a fully fenced dog park, children's playground and several walking routes. There's also sports facilities at one side. Dogs are allowed in the park on leash, and there's fenced off-leash parks for different size dogs. The playground is great and has lots to explore for all ages. There were plentiful of parking spaces too at different locations around the park.

Tatterson Park is definitely a great Park to bring the family the site itself is very spacious with plenty of everything for everyone, BBQs, Tables with Shade, Huge Playground with plenty of variety such as slides, flying foxes, sand pits and plenty of other things to climb and keep the children busy. Even has a decent basketball court which can double as a futsal field as well, otherwise plenty of oval space around to kick a footy, soccer ball or play a little cricket. Plenty of well marked parking nearby and automated toilet facilities as well, you really can't ask for more. the final piece is for those who want to go for a run or walk is plenty of parkland and a huge trail surrounding the pond.

Went to the dog park there, and it’s so generously built. Has separately secured areas for small dogs. There are sanitizers, poo bags and bins at most of the entrances. Multiple water taps also available. Love it I wish all owners be mindful to pick up after their dog so that it will be safe and sanitary for both humans and dogs.

This park keeps developing and is getting better and better. Part two of the upgrades are coming in but the new grandstand / change rooms are ready to go. Huge park areas for footy and football. Springers there for indoor sports. Playground and BBQ facilities. Also running paths and exercise stations including crosstrainer! Free to use!

Really nice park with some sweet BBQ facilities. Decent space and well placed play areas and benches. Wish some people would clean up after themselves. Toilets are a bit questionable, don't think these are maintained well at all.
Restrooms
Pretty dirty sometimes, but better than nothing. Wish there was a few more though

Beautiful, spacious park with a number of facilities such as sporting grounds, a playground, a nature walk and an exercise circuit. Plenty of parking and well-maintained. There is also a fenced off-leash area for dogs and one specifically for small dogs as well, which was a nice little detail. Great park!

  • IridiumRose

A pretty large and well developed park. Very good facilities and easily accessible. The leash free areas for dogs are ok, and the dedicated small dog area is a good inclusion.
Dog-friendliness
Pretty good enclosed leash free area, including a separated small dog area.

A selection of two huge areas and another for small dogs only. Well maintained but you still have to watch out for land mines that owners have left behind. Update: one of the large areas has be closed permanently as it will be transformed into a community centre.

Amazing park to visit with family and friends with kids. So many options to occupy kids in activities and they will not like to go bavk home for sure. There are all necessary facilities like barbeques, rubbish bins, toilets etc. available on the spot.

Have dog, will travel. As far as a dog park goes this is my favourite. Currently 3 dog parks in operation, for the various breeds / sizes and such. There is also loads of walks, forested areas, and wetlands. Could be more trees in the dog

  • Richard Russell

Well maintained park has separate area for puppies and mature dogs plenty of parking. Has a few logs for seating plus 1undercover area if it rains, unfortunately dog poo bags not available need to be replaced, only 1water tap with buckets

Great family-friendly park for all ages. Creative ant theme and also especially love the flying fox swing. Surrounded by a beautiful forest-like nature trail that oversees a lake - something that you rarely find in suburban areas.

Tatterson Park is well maintained and has multiple road access. Dog park has two separate sections for large and small dogs and both are quite large areas. Dog owners are quite responsible and help to keep dog park clean.

Springs Leisure Centre was created back in the 1990's by Labour politician Ros Kelly and was ridiculed as a white elephant. Since then the surrounding acres of vacant land have bee replaced with new
