I had the most horrible experience. I came with my 4 year old daughter, who was looking forward to playing there. As I entered, I greeted the lady there from a distance, she didn't hear me I think. Then I asked what time they close, she ignored my question and continued to greet me with an attitude assuming I didn't greet her, I asked again what time they close, still she insisted on the greeting lessons she felt she needed to give me, as if she was hired to make sure that customers greet. When I got close to her, i told her thay i did greet, then i asked again, what time they close, she said 8pm, looked st the time, it was 7:30pm. I told her that her attitude was bad, that her resposibility was not to teach customers about greetings, but the things concening the store. Then all of a sudden, still with a bad attitude she told me that they close at 7:30. So she made sure that my daughter doesnt play because she had a point to prove. I took a pic of her, and i hope something will be done about this.

The games they had was good but most of the machines needed to be repaired because the tickets never used to come out . Racing games needed to be replaced because the version of car games looks to old. I suggest going to 10 pin bowling with family. They Should reduce the price of weekend because it is half the price more compared to week days . On weekdays it is R55 and weekend is R75.

Arcades are a blast with many hours of entertainment. FYI the bowling and 4D xrides are separate from the coin arcades. Arcades machines dispenses real paper tickets. Couple kids keep following you around for a coin or 2 that gets annoying Prizes are nice. If machine doesn't dispense tickets go grab a employee to refill the machine for you. There a friendly bunch.

This place has really gone down. So many games not working but the real let down is with the claw games. You used to always stand a chance to win a teddy hut now the claws are so loose they can't catch a cold. They font even close around the prizes so you stand no chance. It's a complete rip off. Deserves ZERO stars

Funtastic, awe-mazing, super-duper extravagant. Definitely a place ta be with tons of games, folks ta meet and wonderful vibes ta enjoy all day, all night. Just a pity the ticket machine has issues and there is only one available, but most certainly the place ta enjoy oneself and feel like a kiddie again.

Things are a bit expensive for kids who don't and feel like there could be more. But still lots of fun. With the age old games and even the newer colourful ones. The staff was helpful in getting back coins or refilling tickets. The prizes could be more relevant and useful.

It's a crowded arcade on weekends. The operating times on the website need to be updated. They have a cool coupon rewards system where you gain coupons as you game. Those coupons can be redeemed for items at the counter. It's a great space for kids.

I really enjoyed spending my time at the Magic Company branch here at Gold Reef City Casino. I am an avid dance game player and I was surprised to see that they had a decently functional Dance Dance Revolution machine available to play

Love the ten pin bowling. It's an awesome experience and even more awesome that they have plenty of size 14 bowling shoes and more than enough variety of sizes of bowling balls. They also offer the kiddie bars to prevent gutter balls.

Went out as a family and focus was on the kids to have fun but as parents we enjoyed as well. The games were played by all of us. Saturday night is usually packed and everybody looked happy. Prizes won pleased the kids.

Very great place, kids always have fun even adults for that matter. What happened to the chair by the deal or no deal machines though? It's always nice to have a seat whilst playing this game …

Everytime I come to gold reef I always end up spending around 400 bucks on coins and I just sit at the monopoly machine all day,No matter how old I get magic company will always be the go to

Great place i had an amazing experience. However there was this other rude lady at the counter she was being impatient with us because we didn't know what prices to pick with our tickets.

Think they need to regulate numbers for Covid. Was so packed. Lots of games for kids but worried that they don't regularly sanitize, you struggle to find staff for assistance

Love the Magic Company at Good Reef.. games keep u entertained.. spacious.. I think they can expand the magic company and add more games to accommodate for more customers ..

The place is very decent, the staff is very attentive from the ten pin bowling side of the magic company. Impressed is an understatement. Go there and enjoy your selves.

The games are similar to what we grew up with, which provides us with a nostalgic and fun experience. The only negative aspect is the value per token.

Over crowded, no ventilation, half the machines are not in working condition, you spend more time looking for assistance then playing in the arcade

It's limited, I feel like there could be a larger variety of games, but the machines are maintained regularly which makes it really fun for kids

They lied, it doesnt close at 3am ruined our family outing and the last time I will see my son for 5 years as he goes to war. Very disappointing

They should have the card system instead of carrying around coins. Also the machines kept getting stuck when the tickets needed to be paid out.

Amazing place for a night/day of games,, they have a variety of games for all ages. Had an amazing time ,, and will definitely be coming back

There are some fun games here for every age and gender. A lot of couples were here having fun bonding because of the games @The Magic Company
