Beautiful clean environments Quite and great place for a wedding ceromny Romantic for couples Gorgeous sight for all young and old. River/lake is good for a family fish and clean enviroment.no tall grass and low cut, green enviroment with pictures surroundings.Couldn't recommend it more for all ages. quite day out with no loud noises and traffic sounds. Beautiful fresh air and for a small town like Sunbury couldn't ask for a more friendly enviroment to be around.I live 15 mins away and love going by when possible. Make sure you at least pop in once as you won't regret.
Wonderful place to go for a walk on a sunny warm day. Suburb Greenery, calming sound of water, and relaxing wing can just make your day better. People are friendly so don't forget to say hello and Pat the dog. You can bring your own picnic mat and a book or even food and enjoy the day out. The place also has easy access and lot of parking.
Dog-friendliness
You can walk your dogs but they have to be on leash.
Picnic area
Enough space to let your hair down. You can bring your own picnic mat and a book or even food and enjoy the day out.
I went on this place with my kids and they really liked it. We had a lot of fun there. But despite of reading warning signs of strong current my son ran toward the fence and touched it we were shouting to stop but he didnt listen us and got shock he came back crying and panicking. Please guys keep your kids with you when you go to this place my son never listen to us. Thank god he is fine.
Lovely place to walk the dog, great walking tracks and nice community feel. There's a few different trails that you can meander along or if you just want to sit by the water watching the ducks and geese, it's extremely relaxing. The walk up the back takes you to Goonawarra if you're up for a steep walk up the hill, or around the back towards Rupertswood for something a little flatter.
Peaceful, quiet (they start they Parkrun every Saturday here at 8am too) toilets, benches, swimming, grassy areas to chill. What more do you want??
Playground
Large grassy area

Dog-friendliness
On leash, but a big park
Picnic area

Lovely walk with a decent Exeloo toilet too! The birds are very friendly at the water and there is a fair array of wildlife to spot and hear including: Kookaburras, swallows, frogs, swans, sulfur crested cockatoos, crimson rosellas, eastern rosellas, red rumped parrots, magpies, blue wrens, and more! Very relaxing.
Wonderful place to relax. Peppercorn tree branches are perfect for climbing onto and reading a book, while ducks hurry about beneath you, and water bubbles over the stones of the creek. A great escape from the claustrophobic nature of Melbourne (at least in the eyes of a person raised in the country).
Clean, well kept parkland area with an assortment of seated and undercover areas. Beautiful river/lake which is often visited by the local wildlife, with the option to swim in warmer weather. Walking tracks throughout and a weekend running event takes place weekly nearby.
Favourite walking track in Sunbury. If you look carefully you may even see the resident rakali & platypus. Plenty of birdlife too - blue wrens, red browed finches, variety of ducks, geese, wattle birds, honey eaters. Very soul soothing walking along Jackson's Creek
The Nook is a very scenic beautiful natural part of Sunbury. Great for exercising or just a walk on a sunny day. The landscape reminds me of my favorite place to go, Warburton. With the ducks & running water as well as beautiful farmlets
Ali: Not much to do, should have went somewhere to the north Alaa: Beautiful scenic park, well maintained and scattered with a plethora of well placed benches, would definitely come back here to have a chill, low stimulating picnic
A beautiful place to unwind by getting closer to the nature. You will experience lush green park, a small water stream, beautiful birds including geese, ducks, galahs enjoying in their natural habitat. Loved my visit to this place
Absolutely love visiting nook. Great place to chill out or have a good walk or run. One of the best places in Sunbury to have a relaxing time. If you can walk up the hill, you can view beautiful sunset too …
Very nice, a good highlight for Sunbury. There's even a rope you can swing off into the room temperature river water! There are rocks and a whole heap of moss. Great for relaxing, just watch out for the bees!
Beautiful park on the Jacksons creek in Sunbury with walking paths picnic tables and seats and on and off lead dog walking. Public toilets and lovely green grass as well. Great for families, very picturesque.
Peaceful and relaxing in the heart of Sunbury. It's great to see the outcome of the work here. Wildlife is abundant and the kids swim here. Reminiscent of the early settlement days. Take a look at the Nook.
The extended family spent Boxing Day at the Nook picnic-ing in the shade of trees. It was 35%+ but we were cooled by a southerly breeze and a swim in the creek. A fantastic day in pleasant surrounds.
A really lovely area for a walk, beautiful scenery, well kept paths (pram friendly). Plenty of tables and benches, great area for a picnic. Only thing to remember is that there are no toilets near by.
This is a nice hidden gem in Sunbury , well maintained track and nice for a morning /evening stroll or to sit by the water and have a p icnic , dont go past the donut van worth getting a sugar rush :)
I love cycling to the Nook, very peaceful and serene especially early in the morning and with the sound of water running over rocks there's nothing like it. So lucky to have this beauty in Sunbury.
I love the new improvements to the park. Many people are enjoying the well kept lawn and gardens. The toilet is a great addition and the whole look is so peaceful and a welcome sanctuary to many.
Wonderful place to go with family and animals. This is an off leash dog park where the dogs can run and go to the water freely. Beautiful settings and great for a picnic or just for a walk.
The Nook and nearby walking paths are a wonderful part of Sunbury; beautifully scenic and deeply historic. The vineyards and dry stone walls are a fantastic reminder of Sunbury's past.
A beautiful place to sit and relax with family and friends. Bring a picnic or get food from one of the many delicious food retailers in the community. Watch the ducks on the water.
Great spot for family picnics. Lots of benches & tables plus ducks, geese, mapmgpies & creek. Very well maintained by Hume Council. Brand new toilets & great walking track too.
One of the prettiest places in Sunbury. A place to go for a walk to relax. PS: Please don't feed bread to the birds, is bad for their digestive system, bring seeds instead.
Love this place as it brings back childhood memories swinging off the tree and jumping off the tree into the water great place to come if you want to relax or just get away
A wonderful place of nature to visit with your family to spend the time. It was very green when I visited yesterday. The stream flowing across addd to the beauty.
Wonderful place, nice scenery. There is also a lake of ducks. It's good once you first get there, but after you explored it, I didn't find much else to do.
Great little spot for a picnic or swim. There is a swing off the tree which is cool. it could do with some BBQ facilities to give it 5 stars though
One of my favourite parks..... Love bringing the dogs here and the creek flowing through is beautiful. Well maintained & gorgeous all year round.

Nice little park. Relaxing by the water and lots of birds. They're building a toilet there at the moment too, so will be handy when done.
Didn't see any syringes on the ground or submerged cars in the water , looks alot better then the last time I visited when I was a kid .
The water was absolutely lovely! Beautiful temperature as well. Good old tree to jump off, nice lush green grass with plenty of shade.
Beautiful and relaxing and quiet despite being near the road. Great to walk my dog in.

Love this place! Picnics, feeding the ducks, looking at the cows and horses, the people walking their dogs. It's a great Sunday.
Little peice of peace and nice picnic area for family. Little lake with ducks can be an attraction for kids. But no swings.
What a beautiful area didnt even know we had it. Went for the tucker trail was very informative and enlightening. Loved it.
Beautiful park for dog walking and also great to take kids. However, make sure you watch them around the open water!!
I always love a walk through this place. Sunbury is fortunate to have such a park so close to the centre of town.
I love this place, it's perfect for walking, playing with the kids, picnics and the perfect backdrop for photos
Came home to Sunbury couldn't believe how much it has all changed. Many good and sad times there as a teenager.
A great place to take the family for a day out. Lots of places to walk and run around and places to chill out.

Most beautiful place for walk in Sunbury.. All you need is plenty of time to spend.. And a nice weather
Nice spot. Just don't like it when people have their dogs off leash in a clearly marked on leash area.
Peace n tranquil....very well maintained with ample parking and access. More tables needed though.
Very beautiful park was clean and lots of places to sit to enjoy the lovely trees and small lake.
Great family/picnic location. Would be even better if there were public toilets I could find.
Love this area, we haven't explored it all yet but we love going down here with our doggo.
Absolutely love this spot. Always enjoy having a conversation with the magpies and ravens.
Gr8 walking tracks & plenty of shade for a picnic or fish & chips under the trees …
