Gorgeous shop and local and after lockdown, I'm all for shopping local however customer service was very very ordinary. I was sold a product and when I got home, I found items were missing. Rang shop, no answer, drove to shop, shop was closed early (no note on window saying staff had left early) and no one answered the phone. I had to come back again the next day. Female owner was there and knew that I was short on parts and gave me missing parts- that wasn't the problem - when I told her I had come back the previous day and the shop was closed, she denied it, when I told her I had constantly rung shop while standing outside the closed shop, I was told that if staff were there they wont answer phone if they are with a client (no facility for voicemail messages ) but they weren't there as it was obvious they had nicked off early. Also with item purchased one of the legs were damaged - I took photos and showed the owner - owner was not happy when I insisted on replacement leg- rude, rolling of eyes and even though repeatedly told me she was here to help, kept smirking at her husband -"A difficult customer" I paid $269 for the item (large cat pole) kept saying to me that the leg wasn't damaged..(it was) and if she gave me a replacement she wouldn't be able to sell her other pole (my pole was already put together hence why I took photo) - she would have to claim from the manufacturer - unfortunately yes you do have to claim - not me....so overall, twice she accused me of lying.....and I was far from impressed (btw I have purchased items from there before so not a first time customer) ...like I said , great shop but owner has attitude and subsequently I will take my business elsewhere !

This is Winnie’s favourite shop. I love that everything is about your pet here. Pets rule and are so welcomed. I dropped in yesterday to pick up some dried roo tendons. As I was coming from the city I didn’t have Winnie with me like I usually do. Jenni and Peter (the owners) both asked after her and also asked after Winnie’s cousin Dexter who has visited the shop with me on many occasions. This lovely business is like a home away from home and nothing is too much trouble for these guys and their staff. They provide honest recommendations on products and are always happy to let you try things on your pet for size etc. Winnie is a very happy Paw Principality customer, keep up the great work guys - we love what you do!

I have been a regular customer of The Paw Principality for a while now, and the range of products they sell is just amazing, from clothing, accessories, food, treats and grooming care! The list goes on with what they have in store & online! Loving their Freeze Dried treats as the range gets bigger and bigger! They're a must for your kitties and pooches! They're so passionate about your fur babies health and wellbeing with a huge range of raw food many more wellbeing products for a range of different needs. The staff that work there are just simply amazing and so, so friendly, they always have a smile on their face and happy to answer any questions you have.

Went into this store because they sell Organic Paws. When I went in, there was no one, for about 5 minutes I stood there the staff didn't acknowledge me at all, mind you this is a tiny shop. In the end I had to ask her for help and she didn't know anything about the product nor whether they take Alex or not. Their Organic Paws prices seemed really high so I went to Oasis bakery to check theirs and I found out that for a 30+ dollars product, this shop charges 7 dollars more and the packaging looked like they have been sitting in the freezer for a really long time! I will highly recommend you compare the prices elsewhere.

Really enjoyed my first shopping experience here in the store. I heard and read about this store when I was doing my research on Redbook on 'good pet store in Melbourne' and this store came up many times. The owner was super friendly and helped me pick out the raw meat I need for my kitten. They have a large variety of raw meat to choose from and I spent a good 20 minutes in the store just chatting and getting to know the different types and he was super nice and I ended up bought the Organic Paws kangaroo mince and my fur baby loves it!!! I am a return customer.

If you want something unique or feel like spoiling your pet, this is the place to go. Their products are amazing AND they have fantastic healthy food options as well. I go there at least once a fortnight. Just looking at all the gorgeous collars and coats is enough to put a smile on anyone's face. I find the staff very friendly and extremely helpful, and it's totally pet friendly. My great dane loves looking at the toys and always gets excited because he knows that THE PAW PRINCIPALITY means food and treats and sometimes toys!

Best petshop I've ever visited online. The shop owner is so knowledgeable and assist with any queries without hesitation. Variety of pet accessories, food and supplements can be found there without spending more money buying from overseas. Returned numerous times and I'm extremely happy about the shopping experience since the first time I've had. Highly recommended to anyone who is interested in holistic pet study, as they definitely offer the best products to our beloved pets.

They don’t have a huge variety of stock for dogs anymore (particularly for dogs who are not small) which is a shame as it’s a cute local shop. Sometimes get dog treats there but find myself with less choice so go to a larger chain pet shop or online instead. Last time I was in it was tricky to find space to socially distance and the shop was really busy, I would’ve expected them to redesign the store to allow for more movement.

I purchased 3 cow hooves for my dog and it broke off pieces of sharp bits and looked dangerous to continue feeding her more. I brought them back to get a refund and was told to give them away to another dog but no refund or exchange was possible because it is food. The cow hooves were recommended when I asked about food to help my dog with chewing so I trusted the advice. I will not be returning to this store.

Been costumer of the shop for more than three years, really love how helpful the staff are. Their costumer service is absolute excellent. They offer too ranges of goods with best quality. Everything I ordered for my dogs got delivered to me on the same day. The owner couple is super sweet and they always arrange the delivery time around my work schedule. Definitely recommended to all of my friends.

Clean, well laid out store with a lot of cool stuff of excellent quality for dogs and cats, some of which would be hard to come by elsewhere. Violet had a great time choosing her own chewy treats, and the staff were very helpful and just generally delighted to talk dogs. Bought a bunch of natural chews, definitely the place to go for good guality cute print collars, bowties, etc.

Actually, I’m a loyal customer of The Paw Principality for abt 3 years. When I was in Sydney, I delivered some frozen dog food from this shop 2 or 3 times a month for 1 year. And last year, I was very lucky to move to Melbourne. Jenni is very friendly and her husband is also a funny guy. I appreciated they can think of pets, and take care the pets‘ healthy.

GOOD PET SUPPLY SHOP ON ERROL STREET It's been years since my dog passed away so I didn't have occasion to drop into Paw Principality until today to buy a toy for my friend's new puppy. It's a well laid out shop with a good mix of items. I got good advice and friendly, helpful service in selecting my gift :) As a bonus it was nicely packed in a gift bag.

As a local, I love popping in to browse all the unique and different dog and cat accessories and products they have here. Also have a focus on natural, healthier pet foods. The customer service is great. I assume he's the owner, and is very knowledgeable and always friendly. Makes you want to keep going back and supporting this small local business.

Issue with stitching on a dog collar. Received a very rude out of warrenty email and accusations of fraud. Out of warrenty is completely different to faulty manufacturing. Second collar I'd bought there. Don't know why the owners had to be do rude!

This store has gorgeous pet products! The food and supplements are more expensive than elsewhere, but for things like collars, bowls, beds and toys its great and products are so gorgeous! :) My cat loves its new little bowl.
