The review relates to both the Elizabeth Street and the QV store but since my last experience was at QV I will post here. I originally purchased my new bike from Galleria Elizabeth St. The bike was not in stock and arrived ahead of schedule about a week after placing an order which was great. When the order was placed I specifically enquired about what sort of bike fit was done and I pointed out that standard seat was too narrow. I was assured that the bike will be placed on a trainer and set up will take 30-45mins and that a machine will be used to determine correct saddle. At pick up I was told as my bike is a 9 speed they aren't able to use the trainer. Making sure that bike was fitted correctly consisted of me hanging onto the bench while a salesperson took a 5 second look and decided that the seat needs to MAYBE be slightly lowered. In shock of what is going on I forgot to mention the seat and simply took the bike home. I did however enquired about getting a set of matching mudguards but as they were none in stock I agreed I will buy them from the QV store. During my first ride it didn't take long to realise the handlebars were not straight, gears not tuned properly and that the seat post was inserted on angle which caused it to make clicking noises from the get go. Next day I returned to the store and these issues were rectified. About 2 weeks later I rang the QV store to book in my first service and make sure the mudguards are in stock. The salesperson confirmed all in stock and assured me no charge for fitting the mudguards. This was followed up by a confirmation email indicating nil dollars for fitting. Two days later the bike was dropped off at the QV store and I was told an SMS will be sent when ready. At about 3:30pm I decided to ring the store to follow up and was told an email would have been sent and the salesperson suggested it probably as usual ended up in the junk mail. At pick up I asked the salesperson how did you go and the answer I got was " great, as always'. The bike came out with the front mudguard rubbing the tyre. I pointed this out and it was quickly taken at the back to be rectified. As I was about to walk out as service was part of so named "ProService" I was told that I owe $20 for fitting of the mudguards. I questioned why when and if same would have applied at purchase and the answer was no, it would have been free. The only reason they were not purchased was because in their words the Elizabeth Street isn't big enough to carry all the stock. I am puzzled as to how that is any of my concern. The salesperson pointed out that I have a Specialised seat on a Trek bike. I explained that the new seat was supposed to be purchased and fitted but for reasons mentioned above that never occurred and as any other person would, I went to another store. If selling a bike and doing nothing after is all that Galleria Cycles aims to do then thats how it should promote itself. After sale service in my instance was non existent much like the understanding of a couple of team members I spoke to at the store. Would I return to Galleria to purchase another bike, No, would recommend Galleria to friends, No. New bike is purchased every 5 or so years but as all cyclists we are always in need of new accessories. This is where the after sales part has crumbled and leaves me no other option but to take my business elsewhere.
I’m writing this review as I want to warn others to avoid Cycles Galleria QV if you are looking to service your bicycle for safety and to save time. We visited the store on a Sunday afternoon with our bicycle and our 18 month old child for installation of a rear baby bike seat and rack. The shop assistant told us they don’t have any technician available on weekends and told us they don’t know when the technician has time to do our job so we have to take our bike back and schedule a time online for the following week. We booked the service on a Thursday (31/10) morning drop off and got a message that afternoon saying it was ready for pickup. As we picked up the bike, the male assistant on the computer was looking up the receipt and the female shop assistant told us it’s only $25 without acknowledging/notifying us any issues. As soon as I paid them, I asked for a receipt and they told us “Don’t worry! It’s sent to your email account.” In front of them I strapped my daughter in the seat and rolled the bike back home from the shop. Upon going home, my husband noticed the rack was not level, right hand side bolts/nuts were not fully tightened, the whole baby seat was tilted towards the rear and the seat pole safety strap is not even installed! My husband looked up the electronic receipt stating “Baby seat fitted - Slightly tilted back as seat is at a low position”. In principle, if you are unable or incompetent to complete a job, you can refuse the job at the beginning. If there are any issues with the job, you should notify the customer as soon as possible. Safety first! You failed to let us know about the issue during the job, at completion of job via SMS and at time of pickup. We had no notification at all. We are leaving negative feedback here without visiting the shop again as I don’t want to waste time to reschedule another appointment to risk the safety of my child with an organisation with no ethics.
Had a really negative experience here last week. I booked my bike in for a service as I had been having some trouble with it and there seemed to be some issues with the chain and gears. I called on the Monday and spoke to someone who booked me in for the Tuesday. I subsequently received both a text and email requesting that I drop my bike off before 10am. I arrived there on the Tuesday morning at about 9.30 to find a sign on the door that said opening hours had changed due to lockdown and the shop didn't open until 10am. I had taken the morning off work and traveled ~40 minutes to get there, so I really didn't want to have to come back. I was also kind of annoyed as the text/email had specifically said to be there before 10am. I called the shop a few times until someone picked up and reluctantly came and opened the door. He was visibly very annoyed, opened the door and just said 'put your bike there'. It was so awkward. I apologised for being early but tried to explain that I had received a text and email advising me to be there before 10 and that there had been no mention of changed hours when I had booked in. His response was "it's all over the website". Ok. Maybe a more reasonable response would be to reciprocate an apology and acknowledge the fact that your business is sending out incorrect and confusing comms to customers. Further more, use that as a reason to emphasise the change in opening hours to customers when they phone up to book in. I was hoping to explain the troubles I had been having with my bike, as it's the whole reason I had booked in for the service. But the guy just made me feel so uncomfortable and obviously wanted me out. He was so needlessly rude. I didn't even want to go back to pick it up. I should mention that I usually go to the Elizabeth St store and the staff are always so kind and accomodating. I will avoid the QV store in future.
Two months ago I visited Cycles Galleria QV, after struggling to find a suitable endurance road bike at other bike shops. Within two minutes of browsing the bikes at Cycles Galleria, staff member Danny had spotted me and offered his assistance. I gave Danny my requirements and price range (carbon fibre frame, endurance geometry, <$3k etc.), and he quickly gave me a number of suitable options. He was incredibly patient with my questions, and was happy to break down all of the various options, prices and warranty details. Within 5 minutes I was test riding a Trek Domane SL5 Disc, which turned out to be exactly what I was after. After a bit of negotiation, I got an outstanding price that was impossible to refuse. Having ridden the bike for two months now, I can easily say that I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Danny was able to take the requirements that I gave him, and recommended a bike that fit my needs perfectly. The bike has proven to be incredibly comfortable and stable, while still being agile, light and fast. One thing to note is that the majority of new Trek bikes from Cycles Galleria come with the "ProCare" servicing package. This includes free basic servicing for the bike, for its entire life. I've had the bike serviced with Cycles Galleria three times so far, and it hasn't cost me a cent. Given that this would have cost $60+ per service at other bike shops, I couldn't recommend ProCare more! I will definitely be shopping at Cycles Galleria for my next bike purchase!
Thank you CG team. After receiving an email from CG yesterday with reminder that your still open to service bikes, I jumped straight online and booked a service for my second bike that I used on my trainer. I booked the service for the next day, Friday at CG Bourke st, as that option was available. I took my bike into work, and then walked down to Bourke St store only to find it closed! A sign on the door suggested calling the QV store who were open. Dave answered my call, and after explaining the situation he was immediately apologetic for the inconvenience and suggested I could bring the bike to QV and he can fit me in for a service. Whilst it was further away, I proceeded to walk over. I booked in for a general service and only one small cable required replacement. I was called by the store about the cable to get my approval for the $ before proceeding, and then got a message to say the bike was ready. The contactless pickup worked well also. Great work. Having received purchased a Cannondale Topstone one gravel bike from the store a few weeks ago, which was recommended by Nathan at the Galleria store, I am really impressed with the service, knowledge, range and overall excellent experience. thanks team. now my go to bike store! Narelle Beurle
Booked in for 1st routine tune-up and arrive early in the morning and was informed by the staff they can squeeze me in for the next spot and I should be able to pick it up in 30-40 mins. So I waited for 30min and went to the store to see progress. MIKE, the guy who is supposed to do the actual tune-up and service just stand there doing nothing. He come to me with an opening line "you are not the only customer here and it doesn't work this way. I have got 10 customers before you. " I feel offended because I was informed something different and in no places did I see that I can only pick up the bike at late arvo. I was late for work only because I thought at least I can get the bike tune-up done. Now, I was late for work and tune-up is not done and I receive no apology for not being treated transparently and courteously. It's ok if you don't enjoy your work or you are having a bad day. Please don't let it affect your attitude to your customer. Not professional enough.
Love, love Cycles Galleria at QV! All the staff are warm, helpful and knowledgeable. Big shoutout to Jimmy who was spot on in his recommendation on my first road bike. He fitted the bike to my long-legs-short-torso body and the result is spectacular! This is the first bike where I don’t have shoulder aches even after riding 40km. He was also very patient in making adjustments to my bike cockpit so that the gears I need (bell, phone, Wahoo) are easily accessible and aesthetically pleasing. I was so happy with Jimmy’s service that I went back to buy a second bike from him and his recommendation was spot on again! The store’s accessories selection is also very wide and this is definitely my go to bike store.
I went to the QV shop at 11:30am on a Sunday (the shop was due to be open at 11am). The two guys working in the shop were both standing out the front, as they had both forgotten their keys. I wanted a simple service and asked if I could leave my bike with them. They said I couldn't, as there were no mechanics in that day. I said I'd be happy to pick the bike up in a week, and they said that I still couldn't leave it, as they weren't sure that a mechanic would be able to service the bike in that amount of time. They told me that they 'didn't want to get my hopes up', so I took my bike elsewhere. Don't worry guys, the expectations are zero! Not quite sure how this place is in business.
Good staff who helped me out while i was in a pickle, called up to confirm they had a certain cassette lockring which was proving hard to find! Got there and they didnt have the correct one after they said they did (could have been a common miscommunication) in the end they offered to get one from there other store then and there which i was keen to do. but then as we were discussing that the mechanic found an even better lockring then i was expecting and popped it on for me with no hassle.... and it only cost me 10 bucks!! cant go wrong.. as i work in the cycliing industry myself i was impressed with there will to help out so much GOOD JOB!!
Went here recently to buy a new bike on recommendation from a mate of mine. I certainly wasn't disappointed. I spoked to Jimmy in-store and he was really knowledgeable and helpful when it came to picking the right bike for my needs. Even their after-sales service is exemplary. As well as the lifetime servicing, I had a couple of issues with the fit of my bike frame. They were more than happy to assist and everything is good as gold now but even as I was walking out of the store with my bike, they were suggesting possible tweaks to my setup to further improve my comfort. Will definitely be back when the time comes for an upgrade!
I am so disappointed with this place. i had been a regular customer and got my bike serviced here regularly , after the last service when i reached home i saw the chains were off the wheel. I tried to fix them and i couldn't so i called them for quick help and they were like come back after the lockdown i called after that, explained it is just 2 minutes thing but they said i needed to book the time . I called walkers on Elizabeth, they not only let me drop by but quickly fixed my chains and showed how to do it and they didn't even charge for that. Glad i found a better store in the city
After having a terrible experience at Bike Force Richmond, the team at Cycles Galleria QV - especially the manager Amy, seriously turned my first bike purchase into a memorable one! Amy and the team listened to my needs and preferences and took such time and care in sizing me properly, even doing a second fitting once my bike was built. I got a follow up 5 weeks after purchasing my new bike and got some handy tips and advice and was not once made to feel like a complete novice with all of my questions. I highly recommend, such a high level of customer service! Thank you so much guys! :)
Definitely 5 stars I have been recently to Cycle galleria in QV just to ask a replacement for my touring bike the big guy with beard (don’t remember the name ...EDIT: apparently called Shaun) was very helpful and did his best to find the piece. He called several trek shops in Melbourne to ask for me and gave me a long list of possible place to find it. super friendly and I did not feel pressure to buy something. just really helpful, which makes me want to buy something. =good salesman! I found the piece in another Trek store but many thanks to you beard man. Gennaro
Thank you Jimmy! I purchased my MTB there while visiting Australia and was on a tight schedule to get it ready to take with me on the plane back home. Jimmy and the team knew it needed to be packed ready to ship. I got it home and unpacked it and it was in perfect condition. From a customer service standpoint these guys know the score. From servicing and advice, I cannot fault them on putting my machine together. Ive been back home for 3 weeks now and today I received a mudguard, as promised, in the mail. Well done Cycles Galleria! Well done Jimmy!.
trek bike was nice, pre-sell service was also good! I like my trek bike. But today , I was disappointed at their after-sell service. I got my first time free bike service since bought bike from them. And I booked with one of stuff at Monday 5pm already. She didn’t told that time was closed time and still make appointments for me. And when actually came on Monday 5pm, the other stuff doesn’t know this and doesn’t service me at all. And this man was totally rude to customer. That is made me a bit angry. So disappointed at their after-service.
I am so so grateful to Cycles Galleria, not only were they incredibly sympathetic and understanding when my two-week old bike got stolen, they sorted me out with a rental to use while they ordered me a new one. Knowledgeable staff who actually ride, good people who are friendly and helpful. I'm also a fan of the lifetime free basic servicing - for those little kinks that can arise from time to time with a commuter cycle. Thank you Cycles Galleria for being such legends when I was deeply depressed by the loss of my brand new bike!
I just called in on spec today to ask a question about helmet options for a 13 month old. The advice from the guy who served me was really helpful and to the point. He gave me two clear options but was insistent about head size being really important and clarified the pros and cons of the two options. Once I'd clarified the details with my wife over the phone, as she could could do a quick measurement of junior's bonce, I felt compelled to go back and make the purchase with them. Great service. Will be back.
Bought my first roadbike (Trek Emonda ALR5) here today. I was amazed by the service, knowledge and honest advice Billy from the Ringwood store gave me. He worked very hard to help me make the best choices within my budget. With the lifetime free service I'm invited to come over as many times as I like to tweak my bike. Lots of goodies to choose from too. With the store's bike rides I'm sure I'll feel even more part of the family. Thanks Billy and Ben; awesome store, awesome team, awesome customer experience!
I recently bought my partner the new Oakley Camino Cycling Kit which I was told in the shop if it was the wrong size I could bring it back. Only to realise after christmas that the top was too small but the shorts were fine, so my partner wore the shorts and today went to take the top back only to be told they could not change the size. Considering the kit is $340 I find this absolutely appalling and we will never shop here again and will tell everyone who cycles about our bad experience
The mechanics Nick is a very friendly and helpful guy. Nick helped me to fix my front derailleur issue and rear brake sticky piston of my Checkpoint SL7 without asking a cent. My bike is back to perfect condition again and I couldn't be happier. Highly appreciate Nick assistance and friendly staffs in the shop. Last but not least Harry helps me look for the water bottles I want and it was fun to chat with him. Thumb up to both Nick and Harry and I highly recommend this LBS to everyone.
Excellent customer service, knowledge & recommendations from Zach at the QV store. I had previously visited one of their other stores (didn’t realise they have multiple stores) & was not impressed by the lack of customer acknowledgement by staff there, however this may have been due to it being later in the day & both staff members may have been completing bike servicing tasks, not sure? Short version is, very satisfied with the service from Zach at the QV store.
All the staff in the store were excellent and helpful. We took the delivery of our bike at closing time and realised that there was a minor issue after we left the store. Went back to the store (they were almost closed) but they went ahead, opened the door and fixed all the issues and we left happy face. Happy Days The story is just not about buying a bike and getting good customer service but the attitude and professionalism of the staff. Thumbs Up !
I must give these guys the schizens... I've been in pretty regularly for the past 3 weeks for little niggly things like wheels, minor servicing and fixing some crash damage as it's my most convenient LBS during the working week. I'm a pretty detailed when it comes to my equipment and I'm very happy to say that the front staff and mechanics have always been helpful, friendly and professional no matter how many stupid questions I ask! 5/5!
Great team! I had the best experience today whilst looking for a bike. I was helped by Amelia who took me through detailed outlines of many of your products. I was unsure of what I was looking for but was helped a bunch. I was super impressed and will recommend your shop for cyclists so they may have a similar experience. I enjoyed riding the fold out bike and learning about what’s new in the world of cycling. Big props to Amelia!
Fantastic experience here. Customer service by Amelia was first class. Amelia is knowledgeable, very helpful and patient. Some of the items I wanted were only stocked in other locations but that was sorted effortlessly. Just purchased a Cannondale Synapse Carbon Ultegra having tried several sizes and alternatives...all sized and prepped for test rides with no time or sales pressure. I recommend this store and commend Amelia.
Truly a wonderful store. Nathan, Char and Leo are extremely knowledgable and generous with their time. I came into the store certain that one model was right for me based on online research, but after trying it and discovering it wasn't quite right, Nathan spent hours with me helping me find the perfect bike and getting it fully set up. I cannot recommend this store enough to anyone who wants to find their ideal bike.
I have found their customer service to be the best that I've ever seen at a bike shop. Staff are knowledgable and passionate about bikes, and are really keen to help you fix problems with your bike. The procare servicing might seem minimal, it if you're prepared to clean your bike yourself and sort out some of your problems it covers a large portion of your servicing needs. Would buy S - 1 bikes from this shop.
The Team at Cycles Galleria are awesome! I’ve now bought 2 Trek bikes from them and their level of professionalism and their enthusiasm for bikes and all things related is really enjoyable. They’ve got everything I need from bikes to clothing and all the spares in between. I regularly have my bike serviced there and it’s like riding a new bike after every service. Thanks for all your assistance Cycles Galleria
I always have a great time here. My ebike was booked in for a firmware update today (I know, right?) and I got an SMS less than 2 hours later saying it was complete. They even did a quick ProCare tune-up and let me know to keep an eye on my front brake wear. The staff are super friendly and helpful and everything in the store is shiny clean. I'll keep coming back as long as this shop is around.
The customer service is second to none at Cycles Galleria QV and especially Jimmy who served me. He was sympathetic to my situation and put together a package that suited both my needs and my budget. This is the second time i've brought a bike from this store and is the second time i've had an excellent customer experience. I'll be back for all my future needs. Great work and thanks Jimmy.
There's a reason I've been shopping with Robin and his team for 10 years or more. Exemplary service, friendly staff and a product selection that pretty much always has what I need (and can usually get it, if not). CG went through a patch where customer service did actually take a disappointing dive - I'm talking 5-6 years ago - but those issues are a thing of the past. Highly recommended.
I cannot speak more highly of the staff at Cycles Galleria - QV and Bourke St with special mention to Josh. I was made to feel so welcome every time I entered the store and the crew helped me out so much, always with a smile on their faces. It's been an absolute pleasure buying my bike off you guys and I look forward to seeing you more when I next come in! 100% recommended! :)
Problem solvers! I can't thank them enough for saving my bike. I lost a single key from my bike lock, so they helped me to unchain my bike, and stored it for me for free!!! Some other time, they inspected my bike's tyre and advised on further steps. They are very generous, knowledgable and caring. Best service and bike gear providers in the country!
Great customer service! They're all the same staff that were there prior to change of owners and re-branding from Cycles Galleria to Trek. Leo is a legend, helped me to fix my pedals and a broken cleat despite all POS terminals being offline. Very friendly and knowledgable. Will definitely take my bike there for service whenever I'm in the CBD.
I purchased the last size 52 920 tourer in Australia recently and was incredibly fortunate to receive the service of Bradley. It was my most expensive bike purchase so I was naturally apprehensive but the attention I received was informative, professional and friendly. I’d have no hesitation in recommending CG to any prospective buyer.
I've taken my bike here for servicing a couple of times, and they've always done a good job. I had a really good experience there this morning, where they fixed a blown tyre quickly for me, and didn't make any attempt to upsell me a service that I didn't need - even though I'd have been open to it. I really appreciate that honesty.
I have just had my bike serviced by Nick at Trek QV. His knowledge and expertise are outstanding - I would not want my bike serviced by anyone else. Don’t underestimate the value to the business of the service dept. I will buy my next bike from Trek QV because of how Nick and the crew look after me and my bike. Thank you Trek QV.
Harry was absolutely excellent in assisting us in getting our new bicycles. It was quick and easy to get our new rides set up along with the accesories. The shop is spacious enough and has a pretty wide selection to suit the needs of many. Was overall very pleased and would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.
Super attentive staff. Very knowledgable and helpful, especially to my wife who was only getting back into riding. The value for money was fantastic for the two bikes I bought. After service is top notch- a quick follow up call was a pleasant surprise. Will definitely be back as soon as I have room for a couple of hybrids!
Its a pretty awesome experience wandering into Cycles Galleria QV. On the one hand its a beautiful store adorned with beautiful bikes and kit - and on the other, the people are really nice. I've bought four bikes from CG QV - and beyond getting them all at a great price, the after sales service has been exemplary. Big fan.
Worked in a few bicycle shops over the years as a mechanic. Bought a friend in who needed some advice with Women's fitting and other general information. Caitlyn covered all the bases and went the extra mile to make sure she understood everything and felt welcome. Very Impressed, how to get repeat business 101 right there.
Excellent customer service and in store experience. Went in on Sunday mainly to get my wheel replaced but walked out with a brand new bike. Brydie and another team member (I didn't get his name) from QV store was just brilliant. Very knowledgeable and honest with their opinions / recommendations. Keep up the good work ✌️.
I'm not much of a cycling guru, so nervously went to take my bike in after having some issues. I didn't feel judged walking into the store - I have a very cheap bike with multiple spare parts! But the team were calm, took the time to explain things to me and kept it in the budget I wanted! Rides a treat now. Thanks team
Jimmy was really good in explaining the types of bikes and which bike he thinks best suits my riding style. He also took time to go through the bike fit and explain on how to use the clipless pedals that I brought in from elsewhere. Very satisfied with the level of customer service. Would recommend coming here
My new Trek Emonda SLR 7 continues to inspire me. No issues noticed by me or by the service team at it’s first check up after 6 weeks use. I will probably use another Trek service site in future for ease of access from country Victoria, but will be sorry not to see the team at QV who have looked after me well
I had my trek domane serviced by the team at QV for the first time. Bike ride much better after; service was friendly and efficient. Have since taken my bike back to them for a warranty item fix (unrelated to the service) and again they were prompt and friendly. This is my new go to service bike shop. Thanks
What an amazing in-store experience! The QV team did a fantastic job taking me through the different variations of the bike I was after and the wide range of accessories to go with it. I’m in love with the new bike and I’ll definitely be coming back to CG QV for all my cycling needs in the future.
Amazing customer service. I was new to cycling equipment, I chose some equipment that didn't fit, when I returned they exchanged the equipment for different stock no questions asked. Very helpful, very understanding. If you're new and need assistance, I could not recommend this store more highly.
Such a big range of Trek bicycles and all the accessories. Lots of womens bikes to try, and super knowledgable staff. Shopping for bikes as a women can be daunting sometimes, but the staff here are welcoming and explain things well. Free lifetime basic servicing is such a great bonus as well!
Chanced upon the QV outlet during my trip to Melbourne 2 weeks ago. Wanted to purchase the new WaveCel helmet but outta stock. Staff was very helpful to check if theres stock in other outlets and even brought it down to QV. Left with a happy purchase and very satisfied with good service.
Came in to collect the water bottle for leaving a review, I was there for 10 minutes and the only one in the store. No one came over to me or said anything to me so I left. Poor service compared to last time. Friendly and welcoming staff with a well stocked store and great product range
I’ve had an ongoing issue with a bike I purchased 3 months ago. It’s been back twice now. Staff are friendly and quite good to deal with but I’m not convinced the problem is being taken seriously. They appear to be taking the ‘clean and re-grease’ option rather than rectify the problem.
A great effort by Cycles Galleria. I ordered my bike online last Friday and it was delivered to my home in regional Vic the following Monday. delivery by one of the CG team who was very helpful. many thanks Damian. fantastic guys. You’ve won me as a supporter of CG. Cheers Eric Foster
My second TREK Domane from Cycles Galleria Artemis Lane and the service level is consistently great! Nate was very patient and helpful, ensuring that we get the right size bike and components based on the measurements from my bikefitter. Thanks also to Shaun for the lovely photo!
Excellent customer service. I had a minor issue with an order for parts and it was dealt with swiftly and professionally. I’ve always had a good experience with Cycles Galleria to date and this positive experience has prompted me to put ina good review. Keep up the good work!
My mum, visiting from Brisbane, had my (!) saddle stolen (in front of the Art Gallery- beware..) and went to Cycles Galleria for help. Though they did not have the right size stem, their mechanic James called around and directed my mum to another bike shop. Great service!
Really can't recommend the team at Cycles Galleria/Trek QV high enough. Awesome service from all the team each time I've been in there. Most recently Shaun helped me out with the saddle from my Fuel EX that had come apart and he went out of his way to replace it for me.
Amazing service! I came in looking for a mount for my Bontrager light, after I broke mine. They informed me that these aren't sold separately from the lights, but they looked around and made some calls and ended up GIVING ME a used mount that they found. So lovely!
Came in with a broken chain, needed it fixed to get to an appointment - these guys had it sorted within 10 minutes with no issues, and given the situation great value for money. Friendly and effective service, would recommend highly. (Trek Powerfly 5, 2017 model)
I've been using Cycles Galleria for picking up new bike items, servicing and recently, purchasing a new bike, for the past 2 years. They have always been courteous, accurate with their pricing and meticulous with their servicing. It's a pleasure to go in there.
I brought my bike over from Scotland and was having trouble putting the back wheel on. I nipped over to the shop with my bike and wheel and it was fixed within seconds. The member of staff who helped me was so friendly and helpful. Couldn’t recommend more!
These guys are fricken awesome. I went in today to get a lock and mentioned that my brakes were loose, they jumped the bike into the workshop straight away, identified the problem, and fixed it in minutes. It rides like a dream now, love this place.
A shop with helpful staff that don’t up sell or coerce you into buying things that you don’t need. That’s what makes a good bike shop and Cycles Galleria is one. They also have a good range of cycling kit and bikes from Trek for all types of riding.
This store has a great selection of bikes and the service is A1. The staff are always friendly and knowledgable. I just purchased one of their new Cycles Galleria kits from Cuore. They look good and the quality and fit are excellent. Thanks guys :)
Fantastic service. The spent time talking to my 13 year old (not me) to really understand what he needed. They recommended the bikes he needed not the most expensive products on the floor. Well done team. You have a couple of new raving fans!
Exceptional customer service at Cycles Galleria Artemis Lane Bike Shop Melbourne. A big thank you to Amelia for customer service that I could not fault - professional, prompt service, friendly and knowledgeable. I'll definitely be back!
Just awesome service at this place. Dropped in my cannondale MTB and they went what I feel to be above and beyond to service my bike. I can’t recommend this place enough for their service ( especially after sales service ). Thanks heaps
These guys are great. I bought my Trek Excalibur 7 at Brunswick East via click & collect, last minute I wanted some extras and nothing was too much trouble. Great service and I'll definitely be back for all my bike needs in the future
Went in happily to purchase a Wahoo Kickr. Read good reviews about this place, went in during non-peak hour, no one came even after attending every other customer. I suppose I didn’t look the part to warrant a potential sale.
Bought some shoes and realised my cleats (bought elsewhere) didn't come with the required backplate .Went in and Jimmy not only gave me the part but fitted the cleats all free of charge . Great experience with the store
The guys were very helpful and informative when I needed to buy a new bike. Bradley in particular was great at understanding what I wanted and went through my options without too much cycling jargon or technical stuff.
Cycles Galleria is an excellent bike shop! The staff are really friendly and genuinely helpful. It's always such a pleasant experience. Everything is reasonably priced, and their bike mechanics are very thorough.
Spoke with Nathan, great service over the phone throughout these hard times and was super accomodating and answered all questions i had. Amazing customer service and will be back again for any future bike needs!
Incredible customer service with help appearing whenever you need it. A delighter was staff going out of their way recommending solutions not available in their stores, and even being apologetic about it.
Purchased my new Domane from the QV store earlier this year and was very impressed with the experience. Been back several times since and feel like I am a friend more than a customer. Ten out of ten.
I popped in for a chain quick-link. I was approached immediately by a staff member asking if he could help. He provided exactly what I needed and I was gone in minutes. Fast, efficient, friendly.
Visited Cycles Galleria QV last week and found the staff to be super friendly and the store to be very neat and well stocked! Overall a great experience and can highly recommend popping in :)
Went in to buy couple of bikes today. Great service, Daniel was very patient and accommodating with all our requests and questions. Couldn't have picked a better shop to buy the bikes from!
Very helpful and friendly - love my new ‘21 EX8. Thanks for convincing me to buy it Jack Pender from Camberwell store, and Nathan for taking purchase and doing set up at Burke at city store
Store manager wouldn't let me test a rear light's fitment on their display bike with aero seatpost. I am taking my business elsewhere, shame. The previous manager Phil was much better.
I have found the team at the QV store to be accommodating. My 'pro-care' service was easily booked and undertaken. Their timing for delivery and service work has been pretty accurate
Hi I recently had my Specialized Carve single speed serviced here. Got the brake pads replaced. The mechanic was a good guy. Honest and helpful. I'll be coming back. Thanks Dan
Searched for a good scooter helmet since I'm such an accident prone, met with a really nice staff that helped me find an amazing helmet and other accessories for my scooter
Customer service is fantastic, Nate is the best - he even fitted new pedals for me after I busted my old plastic ones and I was on me way! Will be back when I need. …
Staff were great, as a non rider they helped me with everything I needed to know to get me on a bike.. just rode it home and am very happy with my new Tern foldable bike.
Find Anthony My trek 520 stolen and came back one month later. But 900$value attachment more missing. He understands my situation and help me to buy same cargo rack
I’ve purchased from this store twice and both times the help was fantastic. Great advice you can trust. Take the time to explain products and are a real good help.
Had a flat tire, got it fixed, flat again after one ride, took it back, they charged me again, fixed it again, flat again after one ride! Wasted 50$, what a joke!
Super friendly staff. Helped me pick out a jersey and offered me a test ride. Even gave me some freebies to go along with my purchase. Top notch …
Just bought a fresh new bike today and Harry provided the best service. Thank you for your patience and this is definitely my go to local bike shop now.
I was greeted by Harrison who was helpful and honest in his approach, we agreed on a bike and I placed an order - really good honest customer service.
Harry is the best he helped me get what I needed. Very professional and took the time to give me the best experience. Keep it up guys you’re awesome.
My only bike shop in Melbourne. Quality bikes and backed by the best customer service. Their technical service is second to none Highly recommended!
The service was really great. I was offered plenty of variety in the pieces I was looking for my bike and the people in the store are very friendly
Top-tier, helpful, and know what they doing. CG went to great lengths to put together an excellent custom build. Very happy. Recommend highly.
Absolutely pleasure dealing with the crew at Cycles galleria. Nice to have friendly, knowledgable and helpful customer service and mechanics.
I broke a spoke on the way to work and left my bike with the CG Team to fix. Fix it they did with no fuss and at a fair price. Thank you!
Had a bike serviced here by Nick. He was excellent, it wasn't as expensive as expected and was quicker than I thought. A brilliant job!
Jus had a Pro-Service done on my Trek. Great work - the bike is back to its crisp and smooth best. Very helpful and friendly staff.
Just purchased my second bike from here - great service and friendly staff who explained everything really well. Love the new bike!
