Probably one of the worst if not the worst bike store in the outer eastern suburbs. After 4 mths of waiting i picked up two treks for myself and wife in December just before Xmas. This came as a surprise and surely I was delighted to be finally and physically in the shop after the lockdown. Payment process was nothing but ordinary. When I asked about the extra items I was told that they didn't have the kick stands that one of the boys had quoted me for so they installed the more expensive type instead, but without informing/asking me in advance? I was not happy from that moment onwards..later I was back in the store for the procare program and when I picked up my bikes I specific asked about the creaking noise that I needed the mechanic to look at, the guy had absolutely no idea and it's wasn't until I insisted that he look up the emails and printouts he then assured me it had been checked / greased all appeared to be fine. I was in doubt but I left the shop thinking I will just go riding and see if it had improved. The problem was still there...not to my surprise at all. A few wks later I returned to the store again as I needed a new tyre+rim tape but was told the quickest appt was minimum 2 wks away (i.e.mid March, 15th to be exact) so I said I had to get the tyre replacement elsewhere as I wanted to keep riding. The girl then said if I had gone to another non-trek store and put on parts from another brand that could void my warranty. I was quite annoyed and in disbelief as it was only the tyre that needed attention, yet she said that it was not possible to even have it looked at any earlier. The other place to go to would be Camberwell, dockland or city. Whilst in the shop I brought up the topic on the creaking bottom bracket/crankset that was not rectified earlier so I wanted to book in another session under procare to have the mechanic taking another look at it. Before I was able to continue she was quick to blame for possibly my riding habits, misuse or just normal wear and tear... but wait, the bike was only 2mth old! And I had ridden it less than a handful of times. Supposedly these bikes are of a poor quality and reliability? Again I could not get an appointment under procare as she insisted that it is for tune ups and greasing etc, if I needed more time for other issues I would need to book for extra time and likely extra cost. I replied her saying it's an issue from even earlier and I believe it's a warranty issue, not just lacking grease or user error. That conversation didn't go very far. At the end I was promised an appointment in two wks time and I would receive an email to confirm in prior. Nothing came thru the email do I dropped in on March 18, another girl came to the front desk and told me there was nothing booked with no sorry or any form of apologetic gesture but arrogant attitude. I was not impressed. The next available appt the she was offering me would be 12 April. That would be 1.5mths from when I needed the tyre replacement. I decided to look up for another local bike store to have my issues looked at. I would highly recommend Croydon cycle works as they went out of their way to first have me back on the track and offered to look into the noise a little later as they are also busy, which I completely understand. I was so fed up with the after sales service and attitude of Cycles Galleria I have told each person around me who are thinking of purchasing a bike to steer clear of this store. On an additional note, the store does not have an automated door so with one hand on a bike and one pushing the door to open can be awkward. Each time I had been in and out of the store, even with two trek bikes no one had the courtesy to offer a helping hand but stood well clear behind the reception counter and just chatted away, whilst watching me struggle to brings in the bikes and then take them out again. Very unprofessional, cold and unfriendly store based on my experience. If I could give 0.5 star I would, honestly. I am quite upset so I will pay for a new crankset and installation elsewhere.
Good bike store normally but stuffed my order for a trek marlin 4 for the girlfriend. I ordered the Gray colour one and was told it will be a 2 month wait. In the meantime they called me a month later from another store asking if I wanted the pink one as it's in stock. I said no thank you I'll just stick with the Gray one. Another month went by and they left a voice message from the ringwood store saying my bike is ready to be picked up.. I go into the shop a week after the phone call to pick the bike up and they had built me the pink one??? I told them That I ordered the Gray one, I said no to the pink one... Turns out my bike was in the back in the box still and it will be a few days wait for them to build it.. I had to get the pink one as it was a present and could not wait a few days. Also the gears weren't set up properly and I told them and they told me its normal.. I took the bike to cycle fixation and got it sorted, the bike is running smooth now. So overall I'm not very impressed
I cannot recommend Chris G and Emme highly enough. Our experience at Trek Ringwood has far exceeded other experiences we have had while bike shopping. The professionalism, the knowledge, the kindness, and the consideration for our individual needs was why we chose them. We live an hour away and will happily travel knowing we are so well looked after. Both Chris and Emme spent hours with us answering questions, choosing the right equipment, letting us test ride our bikes, and talking about the best places to ride. They both have a wealth of information to share and have gone above and beyond to make this experience so great. Chris was kind enough to show us how to put the bike rack on our car when we picked them up and we rode our new bikes as soon as we got home! Such a wonderful experience, we have already been telling friends and family where to go if they want bikes. A massive thank you to Chris and Emme for being so passionate and making bike day so great!
Don’t normally leave reviews. So this is a bit of a warning. Took my bike in for a service last week, called to advise of issues and what needed replacement. All good so far. Called again to advise the bike was ready for collection.... except my rear shifter isn’t turning on anymore. I have never had any issues with it, ever. Told me it would cost $1200 to replace. Told them I would collect the bike to get a second opinion. When I went to collect the bike they had miraculously fixed it and acted as if I should thank them! No phone call this time? Happy to take $1200 without doing proper checks first is so dodgy in my opinion! Took my bike out for its first ride after service. Disc brakes are rubbing (never had this before), annoying squeaking sound that I now have to find! And the brand new cassette and chain are making some serious noises, my guess it’s not on tight enough or tuned properly! Will take it to another shop to have a professional look at it.
Have been lucky enough to order a Trek Emonda SL6 eTap recently through Emmi at Cycles Galleria Ringwood - very efficient and helpful with my order. After a surprisingly not too long a wait (thanks Covid), Chris rang me to advise Bike was in ..... early! Chris went out of his way to get me in to shop to pick up, at a time that worked for me. Whilst not only presenting this magnificent bike beautifully, he was more than happy to answer any questions I had. Gave me a good run through of how gears, brakes etc worked. No problem to fit the the extras I needed and did this while I waited. Overall, a great first up face to face dealing with the guys at CG Ringwood. As an aside, very impressed with CG's Procare Lifetime Free Servicing.
Thank you to the team at Cycles Galleria Ringwood (Eastland). Recently purchased two bikes Trek Marlin 7 & X Calibre 8 and the retail service was excellent. Even with Covid affecting stock levels and delivery times I was kept informed the whole way through the process up until the arrival of the bikes in store. Upon collection the excellent level of service continued, nothing was too much trouble. Going to enjoy the bikes along with the free lifetime servicing. It goes to show that a little bit of considered communication goes a long was in customer service. Well done to the whole team at Cycles Galleria Ringwood, keep up the great work.
Today I ordered a hard-to-get Trek Supercaliber bike from Cycles Galleria and had excellent advice and professional service from Carson at Ringwood and Bryce from head office. Over many days I changed my mind about various aspects of bike configuration on several occasions but they kept calm and carried on. Looking forward to riding my new bike next year. Thanks. P.S. My Supercaliber arrived this week! Emme and Zach kept me informed of progress and throughout the process and the crew at Ringwood did a great job putting the bike together (including protective film). I couldn't be happier with the service.
Just picked my Marlin 7 at the weekend. My bike arrived on time as promised. Very impressive. ( I initially ordered a Giant Talon through another shop. After waiting for 3 months, I was told my bike wouldn’t arrive by the end of 2021 and they couldn’t tell me when the bike would arrive in 2022…) Besides, the customer service was exceptional. I popped into the shop several times before I placed my order. Every time I been there, I was well looked after by the friendly staff. Lastly, the lifetime free serving program is a big bonus. Hihgly recomended. Keep the great work up CG team !!!
Trek in Ringwood are not my closest bike shop, but I shop there for a few reasons: * They stock great gear - their Velocis bib shorts are the best I have ever used and even their Voda Flow bidons are superior. I am always happy to pay just a little bit extra at times for quality products and have never been disappointed with Trek. * Their returns policy is incredible & justified because they don't sell rubbish. * And most importantly, Chris is always willing to spend time sharing his expertise and knowledge. His service is first rate.
Would not go back again really do yourself a favour go to Trek direct.The Manager had a very poor attitude not pleasant to deal with. I had to ask to get a seat adjustment and help on a new bike purchased at Ringwood. I had to remind them about registering my new bike for procare. I was going to buy my wife a new bike there but will now look elsewhere. I recommend riders from my cycling club to give it a miss. I have now brought my wife a bike from Fitzroy Cycle's great experience and superb customer service what a difference.
Ordered online from Cycles Galleria they had stock, which many didn’t. Received a confirmation of order call quickly and an idea of delivery date . Billy was really friendly and easy to deal with. On the day got a call they were on the way and the delivery arrived looking great. The guys made sure we were happy, set the seat for my wife and were great to deal with. They’re not my local store by a long shot but I’d be tempted to go there in the future when I need other stuff or services. Top job guys.
Huge effort by Chris G to sort out a mess left over by another store, thanks brother the Allant+ feels amazing. This 4% distortion on the wheel calibration, I don't want it adjusted, as the motor is now pushing 4% harder Eco mode has become Eco+. Before, Eco wasn't enough support but now, it's my new training mode and you've given me heaps more range as I'm using it instead of Touring. Legend, I wreckon 100km+ after the range extender gets fitted.
The staff at Galleria Eastland Ringwood were fantastic Even though the phones had been ringing off the hook with demand both Kate and Taylor were supportive knowledgeable and a credit to the company. When I picked up my anime Billy was straight to it ensuring the high quality service continued and his sales knowledge of the product was exceptional Well done to the entire team and the Covid process was also beyond reproach Cheers Phil Frost
Premium brand with top class service. Had an issue with the stock brake on my DS3 and wanted to get that fixed at the time of service, was told it was taken care and took deliver only to notice it felt the same. Returned to the shop unhappy and spoke to Emma. She got this replaced free of cost and it works brilliantly when tested on a recent 50Kms gravel ride. Another happy customer and 10/10 to Emma for the service.
In the current lockdown situation we are in, it’s been challenging at times to get certain items that we are after. I found the team at Cycles Galleria extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly in my dealings online, over the phone and in person when I collected my new bike. Overall it was a great experience and I was able to get what I needed without any hassle and was out riding later the same day.
My experience with Cycles Galleria Ringwood was really great! Kate and Emmy were always patient and kind with the delays in shipping and answered my calls every week - sometimes twice a week - with support and calmness. I would definitely recommend the store to my friends as the service is friendly and it is obvious that the employees enjoy their job and helping their customers. Thank you guys!
Had a pretty good run with Cycles Galleria in the city. Bought a Bontrager rear light here, staff member entered my details into the system. Light failed a month later, details hadnt been saved and so i was told nothing could be done. Fairly expensive light and I've worked in a few trek shops as a mechanic so direct people somewhere else now. Trek/bontrager service used to be a lot better.
These guys are awesome! Best customer service & servicing experience I have ever had. (Was having ongoing problems with my gears after going to a different bike shop, but Ben & Billy fixed what the other place should have done...& what's more didn't charge me for it!!) Won't go to a different bike shop in future, cos won't be as good as the team in Ringwood. Thanks again for your help!!!
The service here is amazing. The team are incredibly knowledgeable and love bikes - meaning you get great advice from people who ride and care about other riders. They are really friendly and they have great bikes. Their follow up service is unmatched. It was an easy decision for us when we bought new bikes recently. They'll have something for you. Truly amazing service at Cycles Galleria Ringwood. I had great experience today at this shop with its fantastic staff. Special mention to Michael who was patient, very knowledgeable and understanding of what I wanted... and also just a lovely guy. If you're just starting out, get in touch with these folks. I just picked up my newly assembled Trek FX2 that I purchased last week, and I'm super excited to give it a go. The service I got was awesome, by staff (I really wish I remembered the name of the team member who served me) who really know what they're talking about. Super friendly group, and I can't recommend them enough. I'll definitely be back in the future.
Trek Ringwood (Emme & Kate) supported a warranty claim for a bike I purchased interstate, and for a brand they were about to no longer sell. A lot of messing around on their part communicating with distributor and original bike shop and of course me, over a reasonable time period as well. "No trouble at all" they kept saying. I appreciate the support. A+.
Very helpful and friendly service, very good advice and went to great lengths to help me get the bike that suits me best rather than just going for a quick sale. I've bought bits there before, followed their advice, wondering how good it is and after using those bits, found their advice to be spot on. I will be back and happy to recommend them to others.
bought a bike here about 2 months ago great knowledge about bikes and what bike to recommend for me. the bike mechanic Alex really knows what he is doing is a great guy to talk to and gives really good advice on what i should add and do to my bike. i dropped in yesterday had an issue with my bike and Alex fixed within 2 minutes free of charge great team.
I wish to commend cycle Galleria Ringwood for their superb customer service. I was nervous about purchasing a road bike but they went out of their way to help me through the process, even spending time to teach me basic bike maintenance. They took real good care of me. I recommend this store to anyone thinking of purchasing a bike. Great work
I highly recommend Cycles Galleria. All the employees I spoke with were kind, friendly and interested in providing exceptional customer service and experience. My sales person Harry was very knowledgeable and provided me worthwhile information various models of electric mountain bikes to help me make the best decision for my purchase.
The staff here are great. I dropped in today because I needed a replacement part - they talked me through the options, had the parts in stock, and were able to get it done within an hour or two, as they knew I relied on my bike for transport. Fantastic experience and really appreciated the help I got.
Terrible experience. Wouldn't recomend. I asked for a bike service & told would be ready the next day. It wasn't. I had asked for new tube but after picking it up, tyre went flat overnight. Brakes not adjusted. Not ridable for w.e event. Nearly charged double the quoted price. Very disappointed.
The guys at CG Ringwood looked after me very promptly. I turned up with a puncture needing repair on a Saturday morning and left the store in about 20 minutes with new tube and tyres as well. Great service. Thanks Aidan and the other workshop guy-can’t remember his name -great work.

Great service - staff are friendly and helpful. Jed there remembers me, my bike and asks how it’s going since my last service. Talked me through some wheel/additional product options. I have dealings w 3 bike brands and these guys are definitely the top! Highly recommend.
Went there to find some gloves! Was served by Emme who was very attentive and good at conversation! Even though the shop didn’t have what I needed, Emme made some great recommendations for alternatives and was great at holding a conversation too! Will definitely be back!

Super impressed with Cycles Galleria Ringwood, we came in to buy my 3 year old a new helmet and left with a new bike for her. Customer service was A1, answered our questions and setup the bike to suite her. We’ll be back for dads bike upgrade
Chris was so lovely and helpful, they were happy to attach mudguards and a rack to the bike I was buying that day and he even brought the bike all the way to a nearby car park to help me load it into the car. Really lovely service :)
