Customer Representative experience is very Bad. They always prefer & a mindset for Money on a record basis with no understanding of the practical object, Vichile's inspection & record are very poor, and His own mistake for the less fuel, They want to cover for me. I am 1st time using it, I do not know more about the details of the procedure. No have not come & explained to me. The gas status was low before, As, I have said it was my 1st experience. By mistake, I missed uploading the gas status Picture on the given link. During, the return of the vehicle they asked me to refill the gas twice, Even though I had explained the complete details as well. Gas Status was at 7.6 When I took the vehicle. Returning time they told me to refill at 7.8 I have used a vehicle approx 20 - 24 km. estimate for the Gas calculation could be 8 - 9 Lt. I have refilled the gas in the vehicle of 27CAD, Which means 19Lt gas refilled. The Vehicle millage could be 3KM / 1 Lt. So it means during my work fuel consumption was only 8Lt. But they asked me to refill it for 19 Lt. Please try to understand the logic. Human error always happens, But needs to be very fair as per the current situation. Sometime users have a lake of budget so it kind very much limitation on it. I hope you ll understand. Thanks Simar Pal

The people were fantastic. The systems not so much. Examples? The reservation system did not work when I arrived. The people behind the desk made it work and I hopped in a clean, maintained van. UHaul central reservations called me while the front desk was checking me in and asked whether I was coming to pick up the van. The lady on the phone was nice but the system failed. After I got in the van, UHaul called again and asked if I was still coming to pick up the van...sigh. I spent the next 14 hours trucking around Toronto moving my daughter and her friend into their first apartment. The van was perfect for the job. I returned to the UHaul location around 10:30pm to return the vehicle. The return area was well lit and maintained. Using the app to return the vehicle failed at the point where my location was being confirmed. I even tried moving to a few different spots on the lot to make sure it wasn't a reception issue. However, in the end the app simply failed. I dropped my keys through the door and left. The people and the van both deserve an A+. The tech experience was an F.

The worst customer service I've ever dealt with. I never complain about businesses but we were treated so poorly by the manager at this location that I had to speak up. Not only did she yell at us, for her building having a water leak that damaged our belongings, she also double charged us for an additional unit. We set up automatic payments and the company still sent us notices that we hadn't paid (even though we had and on time). Then when we finally were going in to FINALLY get all our stuff out of there they had locked us out even though on multiple occasions we called to tell them of their mistake and they agreed with us. Never once did we receive an apology. If it wasn't for a manager at a different UHaul location we would say don't go to uhaul. But its not uhaul, it's just this storage facility. Avoid it at all costs!!

Absolutely horrible experience 2 times. There is something wrong with their 10' trucks. drove 32 miles went to fill gas, put in $30 and drove 1 km to lot and the gage dropped again. had to go back to put another $10 and they still wanted to charge me $30 in gas charges. The gas calculator says I should have put in $18 of gas not $40. The gauge is faulty and keeps jumping, while there in the lot and arguing with the attendant that I just put gas twice to make sure it had enough gas, it jumped from 5/8 to 7/8. He saw this and said would bring it to the attention of manager and call me. No call, so I call the manager and she says I cant do anything because this happened 3 days ago. Well she was not in when I took the truck and sunday and thanksgiving monday they were closed. So will not go to them anymore.

I can't speak for truck rental here, but I wouldn't recommend this location for storage. I called to reserve and got confirmation that I had a unit ready and reserved, but when I got there to move in, they had no record of my reservation. They offered me a different unit (7x10) instead, and it ended up being inconveniently L-shaped, and smaller than a regular 7x10 unit would have been. I came today to pick up some stuff from my locker and the power was out. The storage area is secured only by electronic locks, no key, so it was impossible to get in. It turned out the power had been out for over 4 hours; it would have been great to receive a preemptive text or something mentioning that units would be inaccessible. Not to mention that their "24/7 Security System" probably wasn't working either.

I booked a one way 15 foot truck in the first week of October for November 1st and received a call a week before my move to inform me that there are no trucks available and when I asked to provide a alternate location or truck size I was told there is nothing available for me and I was forced to cancel my reservation a week prior to my move with no truck reservation. Horrible customer service would never recommend booking a truck with this U-haul considering they have no guarantee at all you’ll get a truck when you booked it for. Absolutely outrageous to inform someone a week ahead of a big move that they don’t have ANY equipment at ANY location. Extremely disappointed with this service and left me in a lot of stress and panic to find another truck rental last minute.

We booked a truck with uhaul yesterday to be picked up this morning. Today is a stat holiday but the staff at 478 Woody Road in Oakville guaranteed they were open today. When we arrived this morning at the scheduled time, they were closed. We called Woody Road but there was of course no answer. We then called the general phone number and were put through to 4 different departments who all said they are open but they are closed with no staff on site. The regional office said the same so they called to find out that they were closed. What a waste of 2 hours and at the end we have no truck for a scheduled move. It is ridiculous that Uhaul can't manage a basic booking and that they don't know their own hours of operation.

Screwed me over with a moving truck rental last minute during a time sensitive move. I had to call to confirm the reservation the day before, changed my truck size to accommodate my schedule and recieved a call Friday night a 6pm the day before my move, that I could get a truck 6 hours after the time I needed it, from a location in Mississauga. Then they had the audacity to charge me a full months rent at their storage locker for 5 days in November, even though I called ahead to inform them of my impending move. Called twice the get the chargers reversed, both times the said they would but evidently fluffed it off as the charges remain. I will be avoiding this location and U-Haul in general at all costs in the future!

I reserved a 10 ' truck because I required a load ramp as well as the additional height as I had a number of tall objects. I reserved it 2 weeks before my move date. I called the day of and was told that my truck would be ready to be picked up at my pick up time. When I went my truck was not available and was told it had been put in for repairs 2 days ago and not available. I was not informed of this at all. I was then told by the manager that all they had was a cargo van and then told I had to take it otherwise I would not get anything. I would never use this location again. Completely unprofessional and the attitude of the manager was terrible. I have used U-Haul multiple times before and never had an issue.

It was a nightmare to book u haul on 21st August 2023 i booked u haul n retuned it by 11pm at 10 :20 pm when i was about to fuel the tank it was completely broken down transmission got lost i was with my son in the night on the road Oakville canada called u haul it took USA number it took them 2 hours to get to the location i managed to get a ride and took my car parked at u haul location then came again 2am to see the mechanic the car was completely broken down n needs to be towed there was no compensation made to me from u haul of my extra 4 hours in the night on the moving day i returned the key next day when tow truck came it was worst experience and i never booked again

I was given the key for the truck walking all around the building , but wasn’t able to find the truck had to walk back to u haul office asking where that was parked they send me again all the way to the same area I was still unable to find it walked back to the office and employee was telling me the same thing to go there it is right there finally I found it which was parked behind other truck now there was no way to get the truck out in the cold morning had to walk back to the office until they removed one truck still no apologies were made for that bad experience

Do not use this U-Haul location. I was overcharged on claims that the truck came back under the fuel limit, which is a false statement. If you have to use this place, don't know rely on their system please take your own pictures as evidence to back up your claims. I called them to get it corrected. They listened and tried to explain why then they asked if they could call me back but never did. If I could give them zero stars, I would. I normally read reviews before completing a purchase. I did this purchase in a rush so shame on me.

Customer service as awesome. Vehicle was brought right to me and everything explained in detail how everything worked and they went over all paper work with us before we signed anything and they told us to call them at anytime with questuions or concerns. They both were very polite and cheerfull. They made us feel very comfortable and at ease with renting from U-Haul and there store. We will do all future moves with these two U-Haul owners and maybe even rent some space in the near future. Thanks for everything, Scott

This location is far better than the one on royal windsor. The guy here helped me after uhaul other location and customer failed to solve my simple problem. I need truck for one way outside city. The guy was quick in solving and gave 15 miles extra to cover the hassle caused by royal Windsor location. Konrad is the name on receipt. I don’t remember but he even wrote his cell number for the recipient location outside the city to provide help. Very quick and accurate sales service.

This is first time we used storage facility. Someone recommended us this location. We rented biggest locker along with truck to avail first month free option. Met expectations. The size of the locker especially the height gives an advantage over other competitors. You can store extra stuff here with the same size locker. The facility was clean and easily accessible. Rented for six months and didn’t have any problem during that tenure. I would recommend this facility and location.

Let me preface this review by saying I have been using this facility for 3 years and NEVER been more disappointed than since they got the new GM Ms. Aumann. The front desk staff are lovely and helpful BUT the GM is curt, bossy and downright rude at times. This is not just from one encounter. I have had several with her and now refuse to be served by her. She talks rudely to the staff and to customers. Do yourself a favor: BOOK ONLINE to avoid her nastiness.

Picked up truck from here, they marked the gas level slightly higher than what it actually was shown on the car, and I thought doesn't worth to drive back and show it to them. Then when I wanted to drop it off, they accepted it and said everything is fine, but then charged me 30$ for extra gas, while I just had filled the tank at the exact same level as before. Be aware, they are just looking for any reason to steal more money from you.

the worse experience ever with U-Hall truck we supposed to get 10 feet $19.98 give us 15 feet truck more money per day $29.98 never mentioned it to us to we got bill email to us 48 hours. we ask at service desk if we can have truck longer they said just to call won’t be any issues or go on there website I been on phone all day trying to get truck longer to next Monday . we won’t used there services no more that’s for sure.

When we moved into our storage unit in August 2015 our experience was awful. There were two very incompetent girls working there who treated everyone including myself like garbage. They were rude and very unprofessional. I am happy to see that I haven't seen them since then so they are likely not there anymore. Regardless my experience was a horrible one and I can't wait to get out of there. I hope they have smartened up.

I chose this one randomly, theres many uhaul locations and every time im at this one there is always a problem. The debit machine doesnt work all the time, customers can't understand their charges, staff needs to ask for help(thats cool to ask for help, but it wastes time), and i noticed management changed in the last 6 months. Besides the issues the storage facility and vehicle selection is good, the staff are nice too.

The employees are the best I have ever seen. Respectful behavior, very flexible to changes, and fast. I lost my backpack with my personal documents there last week during unloading my stuff in the storage room, and after several days with zero hope to find it, I went there and they had found it already and gave it to me. I was just crying when I saw my backpack with everything in that. Just amazing people!

General manager David is the biggest aashole I've ever had to deal with, when they over charged my card and refused to reimburse me for 2 days of calling the store and customer service and David refusing to contact me back. I finally had to drive back to that location 60km away to get reimbursed and he wouldnt even compensate my gas or the over draft fee from the bank

Super nice and understanding people. Rented a van to take furniture to a charity - charity wouldn’t accept furniture. So returned van to U-haul 20 minutes later only to return the following morning. Again very helpful especially about the gas we put into van the night before but didn’t use. Good place, helpful, good value and lots of packing materials for move.

Was received with a friendly front desk agent. Don't bother calling in to their store. I tried calling in to let them know I was going to be late. Took me 30 mins I arrived there and I was still on hold. When I walked into the store it was completely empty, a guy was sleeping and the other was just scrolling on the computer. They should definitely fix that.

Originally great service and staff. Now horrible. Can't make up their minds on anything and then make you back in somewhere to drop the trailer and afterwards decide they need it at the back instead. Then take their time to arrive there to disconnect. Wasted so much of my time. Save yourself the wasted time and go to Royal Windsor.

I could have gotten my truck for half the price at discount truck rental Very disappointed They never give u a full tank of gas and then they expect u to bring it back at the same level Inevetiably, u full the tank more than what they give u and then they get more gas and it costs u more Not happy at all

Really unhappy with the experience. Spent a lot of time marking the scratches on the truck (even though I purchased insurance, so it was just a waste of my time) , but got the gas level wrong so I was charged extra even though I have pictures to prove I brought it with the exact same gas level as I took it.

We are very pleased with our recent truck rental. In fact, we walked in without a reservation (I wouldn’t recommend this though) and were lucky that a 15’ truck had just been returned early. Zachary was super helpful and polite... I have no complaints at all. I wouldn’t hesitate to rent here in the future.

This U-Haul location is a great place to go if you need to purchase moving boxes. Prices are very competitive and they usually have a good supply of stock. It can be hectic at times with rentals, so service can be slow due to volume of activity. Worth a visit if you need moving supplies in particular.

I rented a unit from uhaul through my buisness 4yrs ago to store excess fitness equipment. My unit was closed and my items lost without being contacted personally nor via my listed contact person on the contract. Today, I am told by the company that there is nothing that they will do for my losses.

The rep in the office was abrasive; was just not ready to listen to our point. The worst customer service so far at any U-Haul facility. Just moved from the US to Canada and the customer service standards at this facility was way below par compared to all my US-location experiences.

Booked a truck a month ahead of time but the day before pickup was told the truck was no longer available in Oakville and we would need to drive an hour + pick it up the trucks hours later. Totally unacceptable. Not necessarily this locations fault, but U-Haul clearly has issues.

Service wasn't the fastest, but they got everything handled just fine. I was helping with a friend's move and their reservation was done properly and we got what we needed. They were also able to move our pick up time to an earlier appointment, which was appreciated.

It's like these guys deliberately make things difficult. The security system is awkward and sometimes doesn't even work, monthly payments can only be made in person, no automatic withdrawals (I guess that's good for business when the late fee is so high)

I have used this facility several times to rent trucks and trailers. It is sometimes ver busy, especially at the beginning/end of the month. So bring your patients and things will go fine. The staff is always nice and knowledgeable.

There is a new manager now. The old manager was promoted, and for good reason. With the except of 1 women, the staff are great! End of month vehicle rentals are a busy time and create the odd problem due to volume.

Full size uhaul location, friendly staff. Only thing is if you're making a afterhours pick up, the dolly's will be locked up, and you might not get it. Check in with the staff before hand.
