Ok so the only good thing is the sales.. I love shopping at urban planet for their deals and I don’t live in Hamilton I normally shop at the Mapleview location, I called a day in advance to ask if they had baskets and the lady I was speaking to asked “how can I help you” I told her I just had a quick question and she put me on hold, which is fine I understand if they are busy but don’t ask me “how can I help you” if you aren’t ready to answer my question. Then once she came back immediately she said in a very rude tone “hello are you still there what do you want” then I asked if they had baskets to carry clothes since I was doing a lot of early Christmas shopping and she said “yes we do but I can’t control the customers if they are all taken up” i was only asking if they had them I wasn’t asking if they could hold one for me.. then when I went to the store I was picking out a bunch of pajama pants and the girl there that was folding clothes gave me and my friend dirty looks and she rolled her eyes at me.. then the girl at the cash when I was checking out she made a comment saying “Is that all?” After putting my stuff on the table making me feel embarrassed about the amount that I was buying. I know that when I worked in retail this is NEVER how I would treat my customers and I would be written up for having such attitude. It is crazy to me that the manager seems to not care how their employees are acting towards customers and should learn that it doesn’t matter if it’s busy or if your having a bad day, keep the attitude to yourself. I hope this review is seen by management and they make changes.

On the 22 October 2023 4:30pm It was terrible experience in the store with the manager when me and my husband went there to exchange the shirt which is large in the size but we couldn’t find the smaller size so we brought another one and asked to add the credit and we are ready to pay for other shirt so cashier said he need the help of manager so when manager came she gave us a terrible look with really bad attitude and asked us what do you want and start doing the exchange process and when we asked for the bag she told us we can’t sell the bag and didn’t gave any bag for our clothes and started laughing on us so we took the shirt in our hands and she started to pass comments on us and making a joke of it with other employees to make it embarrassing for us. It was so rude and poor customer service i have ever seen and I didn’t expect this kind of behaviour from the manager..

I always go to this location regardless of how unprofessional and rude the staff is because who doesn’t some love good deals! However I went here yesterday when the Hamilton Bus transportation was not available. As I was shopping the store started to get a little busy and the blonde hair manager/ superviser was on cash and was screaming her employees names out and yelling at them for the littlest things. I work in customer service yet still I was absolutely stunned by seeing how rude and disrespectful she was towards her employees and coworkers especially infront of the customers. She kept saying how people shouldn’t be here considering there’s no bus service. I do not think I will ever be returning here because of how disrespectful the manager/ supervisor is towards her staff.

Bought my daughter a few things this week for her birthday. While packing her present this morning, I realized the ink security tag was still on her hat. I had to leave my daughter on her birthday, drive 40km roundtrip (there’s no other closer urban planet to where I live). When I got to the register I asked the manager if she can reimburse me or give me store credit since I had to go out of my way on my daughters birthday, spend extra money on gas (gas isn’t cheap) to rectify their mistake. Manager Marium told me there’s nothing she can do except remove it. She told me she’s not authorized at store level. This is super disappointing and I don’t think we’ll be coming back to shop here. Cheap clothes and cheap customer service.

I often go to this place for shopping since I moved to canada. But today, like just now, after I paid for my shopping I forgot my wallet at the cash counter and later realized that I was missing my wallet. When I went back to check with this store cash counter girl who made my bill, she was waiting for me to come back and pick it up….. I can’t thank her enough for what she did. Her name is Sara, she was the cashier at the lime ridge urban planet store @urbanplanet, never lose her ever, she is very loyal to her customers and trustworthy too. ❤️❤️ I had all my cash and cards in that, but thanks to her I found it.

This place is good for shopping but I find the employees working here are not friendly at all. They don’t even greet customers or smile and appear very miserable and full of attitude..this place lacks proper customer service. I get it can be stressful working with the public but it doesn’t excuse unfriendly service. If someone does not like working here they should quit, period.

Large two level location with a wide variety of items. They often have good deals that vary weekly. Sales staff were helpful in explaining different jean styles and answering sizing questions. Sometimes the shoe section is messy during the end of the day and it's hard to locate items.

It is a good store , has a good clothes collection. But the store manager has a lot of unnecessary negative attitude. I had a worst experience with her while just buying things. She really don't know anything about professionalism.

Table clearly says all $5, get to checkout and they're all different prices. Cashier says "oh they got mixed up one day". False advertising

I came to exchange and the cashier was so angry she didn’t even say hi. Such a bad service.
