I always go in for a visit with my son who loves to gaze at all the exotic fish in this aquarium shop. They sell various kinds of fish, ranging from the regular goldfish to finding Nemo’s clown fish & royal blue tank to the beautiful discus fish and the rather odd walking fish. The staff/owner is pretty friendly and doesn’t get iffy from a child going ooh and ahh at the fish in the shop and is still friendly even though we are just visiting the shop to gaze at the fish. The prices of the fish are pretty reasonable and the condition of the tanks look clean and well kept.

This store has got variety but fish health is not the best most of them have fin rot or are constantly rubbing themself on rocks or substrate . Plus things are overpriced for a shop like this, things you can get 10-15$ cheaper online / other places the prices of fish are expensive for their quality. Bettas and single blue crawfish are left to die in the display 800ml glass containers. Would not recommend this place rather the Coburg aquarium, Roxy aquarium or the fastway aquarium for the quality of fish and cheaper price.

Takes horrible care of there bettas I purchased a male betta for 50$ and he just threw the betta into a bag with another tanks water witch stressed the betta out bc the bettas tank had 2ppm ammonia and when I added him to his 40 liter he had swim bladder that wasn't treable now he Is just lying in his tank not able to swim I would not but bettas here or any other fish I recommend roxys aquarium they take great care of there bettas compared to here and way betta prices

The owner certainly knows his fish and aquariums in general which is the key reason for the longevity of this business. The shop is dim so it is a bit like entering and old style 'Aquarium' attraction with the lights of the tanks and gurgling filters setting the rhythm. Pricing is reasonable and customer service far exceeds what one get from the corporate barn like pet shops. Well worth a visit if you're seeking fish without chips...

Lihn is absolutely amazing! I have been a regular customer since September 2022 and from day one Linh has been fantastic. Like other reviewers have said, he makes you feel welcome and is so easy to talk to. He has products galore and his knowledge is second to none. Linh has helped me with treatment for my sick cichlid, who today is happy and healthy and back in gen pop I cannot recommend him enough!

First discovered this aquarium over 20 years ago , and a couple of years ago got back into the hobby and decided to pay Linh a visit , so glad I did Linh’s expertise and advice made me feel at ease with my selection . Im super happy with my tank Quality fish and a really nice guy to deal with Thanks a bunch mate

i met lin today. my partner and i was trying to find a permanent fish shop we could always go to as coburg aquarium was not a friendly place to be...and we found one. lin welcomed us, had a friendly conversation, i could ask him anything and made us very comfortable in the shop. ill be coming back for sure.

Highly recommend V & L Aquarium - Lin is very passionate about his fish and prices were so much cheaper than other aquarium shops I had previously looked at! Lin was fantastic to deal with! No request was too hard, he was super helpful and even delivered the 4ft cabinet for our new tank free of charge!

Always top quality fish and fish product. I know the guy for over 15 years (since I got into this hobby) and i can highly recommended this shop. Very knowledgeable and professional services!! The best available!!! You won't be disappointed..

Had a very very bad experience. I was about to set my first marine tank and visited this shop. As instructed by the shop owner I bought aquarium and some live rocks and the very next day, omg what I could see is a fish tank full of worms. 

Very helpful owner and staff. Not always about making a sale as he has proper knowledge and experience in the industry and will give you the right information to ensure its above board. You can't find service like that much these days

Best fish aquarium ever! Been going here with my parents since I was a little kid, lihn is a top guy and always happy to help and have a joke he makes his customers feel like family and very welcome. I highly recommend V&L aquarium

Linn is not only immensely knowledgeable, but is an amazingly down to earth and friendly individual. Always makes you feel welcome and gives genuinely honest help and advice!!!! I wouldn't go anyplace else.

Great service and such a nice man. We go there because he stocks the algea tablets that clear up a green fish pond and they work great. Plus he has got a variaty of fish and plants to choose from.

Great little aquarium. The livestock looked healthy and well cared for. Had a nice chat with owner and he was very knowledgeable and happy to help with info etc. Fair pricing, too.

It's a little local shop. Ok range of fishes, mostly freshwater but they got some saltwater fish too. Plant collection is meh. Not much else to look at other than fishes.

Lee was a great owner to talk to made it easy and was extremely very helpful. We bought several fish and were happy with the great service will be back for more.
