UPDATE: went in today to send two parcels and they aren’t accepting any because they are closed tomorrow due to not enough staff!!! They made the manager redundant and now only two people work here, but part time! Ridiculous! Always huge queues of people wanting to send letters and parcels. This is my nearest post office. Next one is a good 15 minute power walk and they struggle with demand so queues and waiting time can be 20 mins! Hire full time staff and stay open. Unfair for people who have to leave work early and run to make it before they close only to find out they are already closed with no notice or they are open but unable to take parcels. Ridiculous! Went to this post office this afternoon as it’s my nearest one. It was pouring with rain and when I arrived it was shut! This is the third time it’s happened me arriving there to post parcels and they are closed. Frustrating. Especially during times like now when more people are ordering online and needing to return items or selling items from home. When this whiteladies rd post office in Tesco is open on the odd occasion it’s always super busy or they have to close up early. Why not recruit more people to cope with the extra demand?? There is a very nice man who works there regularly though who is always very helpful and polite (apologies if I get this wrong, but I think he is maybe Italian). After queuing for ages I always hope to get him as some of the others are very grumpy.

How can a busy post office continually keep closing for staff shortages between 12.30 - 1.30. At least update the information on the web site state this is likely to happen or here’s an idea, close for lunch permanently then at least the information is correct! Talk about wasting peoples time!

Can be busy but queues move quickly. Post office is at the back of Tescos. NB - no signal in there so download your package barcodes before you go in, and they sometimes close the post office for a break between 2-3 (I think). Postbox collection is 1700 on weekdays.

Quite possibly the country's most hopeless post office. Totally unreliable opening hours - its pot luck if its open, usually it isn't due to staff shortages or some other issue, so you have to go to Cotham Hill post office.

Keep having random closures that aren’t updated on the internet, sometimes closing for whole days without any warning, so I show up to a closed post office. Such a waste of time. Some of the workers can be quite rude

They don't open the times they state on website and despite there being a big queue and the timings on the door itself stating the same as the website the rude women inside refused to open the doors. Avoid!

Very unhelpful staff. They were ‘too busy’ with other things to serve any customers and while I offered to wait I was told she might be 5 minutes or an hour. Some customer service training required here.

Post office IS open and the staff that work at 3-4 windows are very patient, helpful and pleasant. Short queues on the two occasions I've been in the week before Christmas.

Don't bother trying to call this telephone number - no human beings and just pre-recorded dead end messaging, which didn't answer the question in the first place.

sent a package to australia. guy behind the counter was very nice & helpful. i would much rather walk further to go to this post office than go to the cotham one.

The post office is not even open on a Sunday. So the opening times are very misleading... Please change that so you don't waste people's time...

I wish customer service was like this everywhere, they are always so friendly and helpful. There's also rarely a queue!
