Watched Five Nights At Freddy's tonight with my son.. a few things.. First of all, our showing was at 8:15pm... parking lot is dark. No lights what so ever. That is not okay in my opinion, esp in these days... I parked next door at the EMPTY business under a parking lot light because that's where I felt was safest.. Secondly, the bathrooms were filthy! The ones up front as well as down the hall by theater 2 (the room we were in) it also smelt bad! Smelt like mildew? Very stale smelling and was extremely uncomfortable as far as seats, the air wasn't on and when it did come on it was briefly. It was a little too warm. Lastly, the movie was over by about 10:30. So walking back out to the parking lot, it was still pitch dark! Not okay! I mentioned it to the bar tender.. (bars at a movie theater?.. okay, cool whatever) he stated he "just works here" he didn't know what to tell me advised I go talk to someone "over there" finally spoke with a manager, (didn't catch his name) I explained I wasn't trying to just complain however very unsettling the parking lot to be so dark. He stated he was unaware and was just notified by said bar tender I told.. he apologized and that was that... (as we were pulling out they did turn them on, however they were super dim.. still unsettling to me) He was very nice and I do appreciate that but it just was not okay with me that the street lights weren't on.. at 10pm and other movies that let out later... like as a night manager... isn't that your job? To make sure?! I will not be returning to that location.. Uncomfortable, dirty, and unsafe.
I want to give a great big shout out to Cannon at Lake worth AMC theater. My nine-year-old grandson had been looking at videos and listening to people talk all day about the special popcorn bucket for the new Spider-Man movie. We went to order the bucket and a young lady was helping us and she went to grab one of the buckets upfront and they had all been taken. She told us we were just going to have to come back for the bucket because she would have to go look in the back for them. So we left without it and he was disappointed. He is a persistent little guy, and he wasn’t going to give up. He got back in line waited through the whole line and ended up in front of Cannon. When he told Cannon what he wanted, the young lady came over and let Cannon know that there were no buckets Upfront. Instead of telling my grandson that once again, he was out of luck he walked back there and he found exactly what my grandson wanted and my grandson was able to have the popcorn bucket. It is now sitting on his dresser in his bedroom and he hasn’t stop talking about how much fun he had. Thank you for such a wonderful customer service Cannon!
I’d give this place zero stars if it was an option. This theater is very dirty. Popcorn all over the floors. Immediately upon walking in. Trash cans outside were over flowing. Same for the garbage cans on the inside. Water and trash all over the floor near the bathrooms. I used one of the family bathrooms and there was trash all over the floor in there too and also poop on the metal railing next to the toilet. Proceeded to have our tickets scanned, the woman didn’t scan our tickets. We must’ve disturbed her since drawing on her arm and looking down at her phone (with an abundance of customers present) was definitely more important. Seats are not as advertised nor are they comfortable. We walked in and then right back out. Requested a refund for our tickets and went somewhere else. I will never be back.
This place is horrible. The seats are the most uncomfortable I've ever sat on. The seats make noises and The place is dirty( as you can see on the picture). We were stubs members a long time ago( before they had assigned seats and back when their hotdogs were one dollar) we stoped going because we noticed how it was going downhill. If you just want to seat on an uncomfortable noisy chair, in a dirty environment and don't care about customer service, go ahead and give it a try. A plus about this place is that you have free refills on drinks and if you are a stubs member with a large popcorn you get free refills on it. But hurry and get the refill bc if you go to a later showing, the concession stand will be closed before you even need a refill.
Guessn no adult management...havent been here in 6months it was a favorite spot but the theatre has gone down hill.. not no more with unsupervised teenagers. My 13yr old was even complaining .my family went to see avatar just to walk into teenager brats talking laughing cussing feet on top of seats pushing them forward and in and out all 3hours. Noone to report them too. They were even blocking bathrooms and this was girls the boys was tryning to start fights it appear with other boys there. Popcorn was worse i have evwr had. Very disappointed. Another theatre lost to unrespectful manner lacking kids. Not to mention seating awful and crowded but kids kids using them as leg press makes since why
Man, it was my daughter's Yes day so I took her and her brother and sister to the movies 1 and 3..... honestly the movie was amazing, but the customer service the teenagers that work there up to and including the general manager of that AMC completely sucks. I recommend you going to a movie tavern because at least you know that your food will be cooked well everything cost me $120 + ewww to the food, and ewwwww to the manager sitting around CASUALLY talking as her teenage workers as a customer is waiting to be taken care of. Look at Chick-fil-A teenagers to AMC huge difference..theyre a reflection of management. I would like a whole refund. Trash food, and trash service.
Seats were uncomfortable. The people that work there were really friendly but there's no sense of hospitality; after asking for sole mozzarella sticks, I opened them up and they didn't even look like mozzarella sticks, the sticks were in suck a bad condition I had to return them and the employee said to me "They're nor coming out better than that, but I can get you a refund" The manager was really nice about it. Other than the food and the seats, some employees would yield obscene words across the hallways in Spanish. For the price you're paying, I'd definitely recommend you going Downtown Fort Worh, or Rave Cinema at Ridgemar Mall.
As a recent AMC A-List member with some time on my hands, I have been trying different theaters. This was what I would call a conventional/standard theater in location and inside, though it did have a bar if that's your thing. Though the parking was easier than the locations that require a parking garage and everything was generally fine, the seats were not recliner seats and based on how easily they rocked forward were difficult to get comfortable in. You almost had to suspend yourself the whole time or put both feet on the chair in front of you. Also, the urinals in the men's restroom up front had no dividers. Kinda awkward guys.
Pros: variety of food available at concession stand. The pricing. Cons: The seats are HORRIBLE. Uncomfortable. The seats are not spaced out so your literally rubbing elbows with the person next to you. It’s awkward because I sat next to a total stranger. You feel confined in the seats and definitely don’t recommend. Your also constantly being kicked by the row behind you. The theater also had a weird odor when we arrived at our movie. The movie screen had what appeared to be scratches. It kind of bugs you when you first arrive but you kind of forget about it later. Definitely NOT going back.
I am applaud by the lack of service I received at this location. I was here to attend a viewing of the new evil dead movie. While I enjoyed the movie, this location is a rough spot. The employees have no enthusiasm about their minimum wage lives and are openly vaping in the lobby infront of customers, swearing, and all around make it difficult to think this is a professional workplace. While watching the movie the employees frequently walked in, stood around to view the movie and talk very loudly. I recommend the Texas Movie Bistro in lake worth for an all around better experience.
Quite possibly the grossest AMC I’ve ever been to. I bought tickets on a whim without reading the reviews and immediately regretted that decision upon walking into the theater. The staff are all friendly but this location needs to be shut down for a deep cleaning. All of the surfaces where absolutely abysmal and caked in filth. Upon entering the actual auditorium, specifically auditorium 6, you’re hit with the smell of mildew. The floors are disgusting and sticky and the seats do not recline and are upright, rigid, and uncomfortable. Lesson learned. Won’t be back.
I never typically post reviews, but the staff turned the lights on before our movie was over and when I mentioned that our lights were on, they said the movie is over and I let them know it wasn’t. They left them on and then about 15 mins later the movie ended. It really killed the experience of the last part of the movie. Also, this theater looks pretty new on the outside, but the lobby area feels run down and not kept up in general and the seats were not very comfortable either. Just a bit bummed and will check out other local theaters.
This place was a pigsty. As much as I want to blame the customers, it looks like little to no effort was put into cleaning it up. Sat through a 3 hour movie and it looked worse coming out. The seats are extreamley uncomfortable. It could use a remodel. Only came here because it was the only good tickets we could get for endgame. The employees were really nice however and I appreciated the fact we had an officer there for the lines for Endgame. The theatre also sounds great. But this place is definetly in need of some change.
My family and I went to see Black panther last night and the most amazing thing about going to this particular theater was the admission price and of course the movie. Sound quality in theater 7 was horrible ( my home surround sounds is better. The seats was very uncomfortable. It’s no wonder why the tickets was so cheap. I will definitely drive further out to a theater that has the dream loungers even if I pay more. I will not come back to this theater even if it was right across the street from my house.
I thought all AMC were created equal but this AMC is like a knockoff version. I should have realized when the tickets were only $8. The sound quality is horrible. It truly sounds like a Bluetooth speaker at the front of the screen. On top of that the volume wasn’t very loud so if someone is breathing loudly it blocks out the sound of the movie. The screens are very dark so it’s hard to see anything. Truly made Avatar hard to watch. Will definitely not be coming back to this location.
The seats were uncomfortable! I'm actually shocked that I stayed through the entire movie. Narrow seats, short, tilted down, thin armrests that you have to share with your neighbor. I have long legs, but they wouldn't reach the bar in front of us. So I spent the 2 hours with my arms folded across me pushing my back against the seat and supporting that pose with my legs. Needless to say, I'm sore today. That being said, we still enjoyed it. Nice staff, clean theater. Smells good too.
Lobby is nice. Sound and picture quality is good. That's the plus side. Both times I have been there the seating in the two theaters we were in was far from ideal. The seats are tiny and jammed together. Backs recline, sort of, but no footrest. Can you say uncomfortable? Both times I have left there with my back and neck hurting. I'll be going back to the Cinemark at Ridgemar for my comfortable seating next time. I'm too old to pay out good money for 2 hours of being a sardine.
Decent theater but the seats are just not right. When first sitting in them they are leaning forward and have an odd angle. To get them to lean back you have physically push them but then they don’t stay there. If you stop pushing, they rock right back to the “normal” which is actually leaning forward and off putting. So many other theaters do their seating better. It is hard to understand why they made this choice. Probably won’t be back to this location to watch a movie.
*Spirit Airlines called and wants their seats back* Truly awful seating. Very small, awkwardly leans back and does not stay reclined. Absolutely no room to stretch legs or make room for passers-by. I know it's summer in Texas but the theater was mighty warm. Felt bad for the one urinal in the mens bathroom, practically had a gouge carved into the porcelain from intense use. Really bad experience and my back will definitely be paying for this in the dats to come.
It’s clean, friendly staff, but like most places, slightly understaffed it seemed. We went to see the new paw patrol. The pre-order for our food wasn’t ready, and this isn’t necessarily a complaint, that I missed most of the trailers waiting on it. The only down side I would say is they don’t have the reclining seats like all the other theaters around offer, but all the facilities were clean, looked well maintained, and the popcorn was fresh.
Date night here really helped us beat the heat and enjoy our night! While we were right on time for our show, there was hardly any wait in line for popcorn and drinks. I brought a small blanket to cover my legs cuz in my experience, theater's tend to run on the chilly side but it was actually a great indoor temperature. The seats were very comfortable and within a reasonable distance from the screen so every seat seemed to have a good view.
Theater isn't so bad. It has a fairly nice representation & the prices are lower than most which you gotta appreciate. My only serious complaint are the seats. Man they are extremely small & uncomfortable. I found myself changing positions numerous times while trying not to elbow or bump knees with my neighbors due to how close you are to them. It's the main reason why I find myself coming here very rarely unfortunately.
This theater is the WORST theater I have ever been to in multiple states! Their seats are so poor you literally have to try to hold yourself in the seat for the 2+ hours it takes to see a movie. They slant downward and you have to try to keep yourself from sliding out. We see 3-4 Movies a Month so trust me when I tell you it's bad. Shame on AMC, which has previously been my go to theater. Just don't-
Just go to another AMC: - Go to Palace 9 for personality and downtown shenanigans. - Go to Clearfork for nearby shopping, restaurants, or just to have your slice of Cali style gentrification. - Go to Parks at Arlington/Grapevine for a wide selection of modern movies. ANYWHERE but a movie theater that doesn't know how to dim the lights during a film...bare minimum kids, get with the program Elmo.
I hear so much about this movie theater but I personally have never had a bad experience. Do they run out of napkins? Yes. Ask for some? They'll gladly help you. Movie not starting on time? Ask someone, they are super apologetic. Bathrooms are clean. Snacks are good. The price for snacks are just like any other theater, you're paying a premium for an experience outside of your home.
I chose this location, despite the negative reviews, because it was the closest drive. I thought “how bad can it really be?” The other reviewers weren’t kidding. That was the most uncomfortable chair I’ve ever experienced at a theater. Added an extra star because the snacks were good and the bathrooms were clean and I want to be fair. But I won’t be coming here again.
I WON’T GO HERE! Beyond the fact the seats are extremely uncomfortable. There is a huge sign stating this location is a GUN FREE ZONE! With all the recent violence Nationwide. I’m not taking my family to anyplace that essentially makes us fish in a barrel for some lunatic to have a field day with. Once this theater changes it’s position. I’ll gladly revise my review.
Went to see Spiderman Into the spider verse with the family. The movie was amazing, however really appalled by the employees at the food counter. I ordered through the app thinking it would be ready when I get there BIG MISTAKE!!! These employees don’t even look at orders coming through the AMC app. I hope management takes these reviews seriously!!
went to movies here had an A-List pass giving me trouble n the mgr greyson was absolutely wonderful he figured out how to update my cc on fone so my next visit wouldn’t be affected n he was nice n helpful n great manners n customer service all staff were super helpful freindly n more than helpful i told them i’m happy to give a good review
First time and don’t think I will go back. I felt like I was sitting in coach on a flight with poor air conditioning that was dripping on me. Actually I think coach is probably better. People watching other things on their phones, drink machines leaking, seats creaking, this is not what I was expecting or hoping for.
We watched the flash during a matinee. The movie was good and prices for matinee were reasonable. The popcorn, drink and snack prices are OUTLANDISH. The bathroom needed some tending, too, and I had to hold the door closer due to the lock being broken. I feel as if the high prices should warrant nicer facilities.
The employees are friendly, but the theater is outdated. The seats are old and uncomfortable and don't lean back well - they are not the recliner style seats most newer theaters have. A small popcorn was $9, and it wasn't great. My preferred theater charges $6 for small, and it's better quality.
Bought a soda.... And all of the machines were broken. The attached photos are of the line. I waited 30 minutes after paying for my drink to even fill up. After speaking with an employee. The morning shift didn't refill the drink machines. Come on managers, control your employees...
This theater isn’t very busy and the pricing for a matinee show was great. The popcorn was tasty as were the drinks. We weren’t fond of the chairs. They don’t recline but sort of rock back but don’t stay rocked back. It’s not as comfortable as other theaters we’ve visited.
AMC does not answer their phone, which really irritates me ! I know they get busy but there is no excuse for a business not to ever not pick up the phone ! If they are busy they can simply ask the customer to hold until they get free to answer their questions.
Theater is in need of an upgrade. Seats are horrible and hurt after an hour. Paid almost double the movie ticket price for a small popcorn, a box of candy, a medium drink and a $5.25 bottle of water. 2 tickets were $16 at matinee and concessions were $27.
$9 for “Regular” sized popcorn, $10 for large. If you don’t get their big theater, it’s old school seating with rather uncomfortable chairs. But, it’s also cheap. Especially for a matinee. So it’s a wash depending on what you’re looking for.
Not bad, but not great. We found it to be very cramped for a newer theater. The seats were very low to the ground and quite uncomfortable for a 3.5 hour movie. Hope they invest in upgrading seating to the nice comfy reclining seats soon.
The chairs sat a bit funny, but wasn't uncomfortable. I was the only one there for the movie. I seen Jackass Forever Sunday March 6th at 1250. Got my popcorn and enjoyed myself. They have electric car plug ins if that's for you. Thanks!
The place was clean, but the seats are very uncomfortable. The entire experience was around $40 for 2 people (2 tickets, 2 drinks and 1 pkg of Gummy Bears ). We enjoyed the movie, but the seats put a damper on the entire experience.
The bartender, Sherri, although I tried to make conversation was very short and a bit arrogant! The short interaction made both my fiance and I change our minds and get nothing. Don’t want to tip let alone order for bad service.
The popcorn was cold and not salty, seats uncomfortable. Vending machines were completely out of soda, or the very little they had (root beer, mello yello) was outrageously flat. Employees were nice but we won’t be back :(
The place is clean; seating isn't the best. They used to have decent combo deals on soda and popcorn that they removed. Too expensive to go like we used to, but okay for the occasional date night or family night out.
Horrible seats. I could see everyone in the theater room readjust themselves evey couple of minutes due to the uncomfortable seats. My partner and I couldn't focus on the movie; We left with our tailbone hurting.
So disappointed in the seats at this theater. They tilt forward and make you hold yourself back through the whole movie. Worst experience ever. I literally sat on the floor in the aisle because they were so bad.
We used to come here quite often with no complaints, except for the small seats that don't recline. We returned recently, and we were highly disappointed in the lobby / concession area and how dirty it was.
Only thing about this theater, watch a movie is you need comfortable seats? YES YOU DO The seats are very hard ,they don’t have to recline, but you do need some cushion on your butt. Another that it’s fine
The employees were nice. Our movie started 45 minutes late and kept repeating the same 4 trailers. Yes, the same 4 trailers played 4 times each. It was ridiculous. 3 tickets online cost 48 bucks.
The theaters are modern and clean. My only real complaint is the seating. Our seats were a bit worn, leaned forward, and it felt as if I was I going to fall out. Perhaps it could be adjusted.
Pretty poor as theaters go. The seats were very uncomfortable and felt like I was sitting in a cheaply made office chair. I've been to other AMC theaters that were a lot better than this one.
I like the ticket prices. They do have to do something about the seats. It is hard for me to sit, in them the sre to low to the ground. I had some injuries to my back and my knee.
Well, I went and paid for a 3D movie. Was given the glasses but the theater didn’t show a 3D movie. So basically paid to see a 3D movie. But the theater played the normal version.
Wouldn't return again. The seats were uncomfortable and the projector was pointed about 1 foot to low. I surprised none of the staff members did not catch this during the movie.
Overall plesent experience, but what really made my day was an employee I believe her name was Josie. She was very helpful, and kind. Will be returning to this location. …
The seats were horrible and were uncomfortable. The seats weren't anything like the ones in the picture. Price gouges on the candy $6 for one small container of treats.
Staff was nice and helpful. The seats were a little uncomfortable for my liking. The screen picture didn't seem that clear or sharp. But the sound was magnificent.
Starting to show its age. Staff was friendly and seats weren't terrible, but compared to a lot of the other theaters it's not as comfy. Popcorn was amazing though
Staff is friendly and efficient.....Very clean and sanitized.......Ana the BARTENDER GOES ABOVE AND BEYOND ‼️....... HIGHLY RECOMMEND ‼️ A GOOD TIME FOR ALL‼️
The snacks and drinks were good. The back row doesn't allow you to lean back any at all due to the seats being against the back row. It didn't smell the best.
Staff was nice, love the soda machine-the kind that offers hundreds of combinations- but the seats were so uncomfortable we almost left. Will not be back.
Sound was good, chairs were not overly comfortable, inside the theater was clean. The guy at the concession counter was super nice and really helpful.
My biggest problem with this theater is the small seats. Everything else was fine and the tickets were around 5 dollars. Just make the seats bigger.
Me and my family come here often to watch movies. This is our special family hangout spot! Everyone is always so friendly and we love the atmosphere
Old, dirty, and small seats that don’t really recline at all. Much nicer theaters out there. We tried this for the first time and won’t be back.
The recent cleanup really helped improve the moviegoing experience, especially after COVID. Keep up the great work and I cant want to go back!
Seats are really low and slanted to the ground. I can literally slide out if my chair. The seats feel cheap and the arm rest is busted …
Went to see a movie, the row where I was at, there was a spilled drink and popcorn all over the floor scattered. It smelled so terrible.
Needs to be upgraded, in my opinion. Seats were very worn and too low to the ground, which is annoying for those of us with long legs.
Watched Sound of Freedom on the 15th of July here. Everything is just cool. Sound is properly set, the visuals were just on point.
Super clean theater, seats seemed brand new but not the fancy reclining variety and the staff actually seemed happy to be there.
Bathrooms needed attention and the popcorn was not fresh I expected better since this was the opening day of The Little Mermaid
Chairs uncomfortable. Concession area is a disaster. Drink kiosks were out of ice. One was out of order.
The Equalizer 3 was a good movie. Theater was nice and clean. Everyone quietly enjoyed the movie!!!
Staff was friendly and the theater was clean. Very spacious around the seats and comfortable
Went to see Sound of Freedom. Seat arm rest was a little short, comfortable anyway
Could use better seats. Overall, the movie part had no issues.
Excellent food options, but seating has older recliners.
Clean, pretty nice. Seats were awfully uncomfortable.
