They overcharge for everything, tickets, food, drinks, even water. Their lack of diversity in hiring is painfully obvious. Every single employee there was African American, not a single Mexican, Asian, Pacific Islander, or Caucasian person. There was this super nice African American couple in front of me in the concession line and we got talking and even exchanged numbers; the service staff behind the counter was friendly and nice to them but when I ordered, they were very racist and rude, so much so that the nice couple I exchanged numbers with called the server out on it and told her to stop being racist and just take my order. The teenage girl behind the counter was visible distraught that she was called out on her racism and acted like she was going to fight me, like what? How did that devolve into violence, I just wanted to order some popcorn for my kid and husband. The nice couple was so enraged by this obvious discrimination that we all decided to leave (couldn't get a refund either, they refused) and eat dinner at Longhorns instead of watching our movies. My family and I will never be returning to this movie theater, they are racist as all get out.
This is my least favorite AMC theatre. As soon as we walked in to see Barbie movie, they said our theatre had switched to a different room and they didn’t know which one. We had to wait a couple minutes to figure out where we’re supposed to go. The popcorn and drinks were cool and overpriced. We got a large refillable popcorn, a large drink and medium drink and that was $45. The part where they had us messed up is that there wasn’t any melted butter left for the popcorn. The workers had no sense of urgency to refill it either. The cashier workers were so RUDE to my mom and I when we asked to refill to butter dispenser. They got an attitude and told us to walk to the opposite end of the theatre to use the other one. When my mom went back outside to the food concessions midway during the movie. She said she got disrespected by the workers and their excuse was that they were short staffed. Don’t offer a 20% discounted movie ticket before a certain time if the movie theatre is going to be chaotic, understaffed, and things not stocked how they’re supposed to be. We spent way too much money for subpar experience.
The theater was alright, but seats 5 & 6 in row F of theater 1 had multiple rips. I didn't notice any others, those may just be the most popular seats; they didn't really bother us, but worth mentioning. The drink dispensers were out of several flavors when we went, that seems like any easy fix considering it wasn't very busy. None of that really ruined it, but they were improvements that could be made. A big thumbs down for a $3.98 convenience fee on $16 worth of tickets. (1 child & 1 adult matinee) unless you join their club. I went back today (9/18/22) for another movie and NONE of the 8 soap dispensers in the men's restroom dispensed any soap. It was for a 1:15 show too, so there's no way that they should have been out. I get that maybe only 40% of people going through there are actually using the soap, but you need to put it out there. I hope the people handling the snacks have somewhere else to wash. I have to drop it to 1 star for this.
When we went to see Taylor Swift, it was great. The theater was perfect when he went to see Five nights at Freddy’s, it was so hot that my kids physically got ill. I almost had to take them and my mom to the ER due to being so dehydrated. We had drinks in there, but it was so hot that we were all dying. The person I talk to you about the problem told me they would fix it then when I tried to call later to complain about they told me it takes almost 3 hours to cool a theater, which is incorrect, because Taylor Swift was cold in seconds they didn’t even try to fix the issue.
My go-to neighborhood AMC Movie theater. Rarely do I watch movies outside of this area and when I do, the theater house, rarely holds up to the feel-good, down-home, standard of the Traders Point movie theater. Spacious showing rooms, snacks galore, short waiting lines (even for new movies). If I had any notes it would be for the teenagers that typically work the counters - they have poor customer service skills and often seem to be focused elsewhere and not on the customer. But one can only expect so much. Either way, great service. Will come again. :)
It’s not the worst but a few slight tweaks could make this place better. Like locks that actually work on the bathroom stalls for starters. Maybe more items being available on the menu. Staff could use a pep talk, not that customers go there specifically for good customer service. The movies pull in customers enough, but maybe act like you appreciate your visitors. Two tickets to a movie at Flix Brewhouse are cheaper than two tickets to this AMC. The service at Flix is also light years beyond this place. Maybe just go to Flix. ♂️
I have to post this because I have been going to this theater for years. These guys are hard workers. People that complain about employees being on their phones at times want them to be robots. The theater is always clean when I go and only ever dirty when it’s extremely busy which I cannot fault them for. When it’s a down time, their machines are all clean and I have fresh popcorn every time. I literally have no other desire to go to any other theater other than this one because of the high quality they have provided for so long now.
This theater was great. You can order your tickets and food ahead, apparently. But when I tried, my internet stalled. We then went to the theater and bought our tickets and concessions there. It still went fairly quickly as it wasn't super busy on Christmas Eve. The recliners were very comfortable. My only complaint is that they go back so very far and sometimes this would happen accidentally by brushing my leg against the button. It was distracting from the movie. But the theater had great sound and was overall a good experience.
So disappointed seeing Avatar 2 in 3D. Not all of the theaters here have reclining seats. The 3D glasses were all very blurry and most of them had dry food and finger prints all on them. Also the theater was dirty! Not just dirty from the previous show but stained seats and food stuck on the floor that appeared to be there for awhile. It was so gross!!! Tried contacting the theater to let them know but it’s next to impossible to get ahold of anyone. After this experience, I’m not sure if we will be returning in the future.
All of my previous experiences at this theater have been good, a movie theater like the rest. It is relatively well maintained and typically crowded during peak hours. Today we came to see an advertised matinee and so far no one has opened the doors for us (regardless of our advanced purchase of tickets). Hoping they can see that we are here and would like to come in and watch the movie. Update: we got in and will be seeing the movie. Really nice upgrades to the theater and all of the amenities.
Great location, but it is lacking in most other areas. Very dirty! Floors and counters are always filthy. Bathrooms are dirty and need attention. Seats in the theaters are dirty and need to be wiped down. Everything needs to be stocked. Several fountain drinks weren't available. Button was empty in 3 of the 4 dispensers. Paper towels & toilet paper were out. Truthfully, if it wasn't for the location of this theater, I'd never return. In serious need of management, training, and motivation.
A great experience from arrival to depature. The staff was courteous & helpful. I ordered my ticket online ,& the movie attendant/greeter scanned my QR code, then directed me to the viewing room. I also ordered my snacks online & they were neatly placed in an AMC bag waiting for me at the concession stand. The recliner seat was a dream to sit & lay on during the film; it was so comfortable, I almost fell asleep! I'll definitely be back for more movies.
This theater evidently doesn't want your money. Failed not once but TWICE to process our online order. Funny enough, chose a different AMC theater and it went through first time. Nice. Called this theater and spoke to a representative who said he'd look up our pending purchase, put us on hold, and then sent us to voicemail. Called back and only got voicemail. Went here once over a year ago and it was OKAY but never going back. **** this place.
Not the least bit helpful. I missed the first 15 minutes of a movie while running in and out of the theater because no one told me which 3D glasses to wear when I bought my ticket. No one took my ticket and no one cared when I grabbed a handful of the wrong 3D glasses. The employee atmosphere is best described as overcooked pasta, or moist toast, and the seats need a good cleaning. Pay your employees more and they might actually care.
Get it together. For movie theaters to continue to come back, you have to do better. One soda machine was out of regular Coke before the first show of the day, and the combo machine made the drinks taste strange. There was no soap in at least two dispensers in the men’s room and no lights on in the theater, making it difficult to enter. (The lights came on during the previews.) Of course, there was inadequate staffing.
We were VERY disappointed to buy tickets to see a movie in 3D (Avatar) and let alone not get to enjoy the seats interact with the movie, but they weren't even able to recline and they were filthy like a dollar show and if u get a small cup for your kid to drink out of, you'll have no place to put it bc the cup holders have no bottom so to only hold large cups. 3D movies are supposed to be an awesome experience
It’s a solid AMC, but of the few others I’ve been to they have been better in terms of quality of staff. All AMC’s have great screen visuals and comfortable seats. However this AMC has seen better years when it comes to its staff. They weren’t exactly rude, but not friendly enough either. It really depends on which day you go that makes the staff great or average. Hoping they hire better quality people soon.
Awful management. Came to see an R rated movie I lost my ID a few days ago I offered to show a pic of my ID. “Due to kids sneaking in we’re not letting anyone in without a physical copy.” Again I offered a pic of my ID. The lady at the desk was sweet and understanding the so called GM was rude and had absolutely no customer service skills. DO NOT COME HERE. Had the sweet lady at the desk TREMBLING in fear.
The cinema is OK, not very clean but Seats are comfortable. The concessions bar was not clean, workers there were not nice and rushing you to get things quickly so they could leave, there was no popcorn seasoning and the worst of all the popcorn was not fresh and when I left I saw that they save the popcorn for next day!!!! Very disappointed, paying $9 for popcorn that's not freshly made and hot!!!
If you wanna pay good money to watch a movie in filth this is the place to go ..The housekeeping cart was in the theater but they must’ve fell asleep because nothing was clean.I was kinda scared to sit in the seats because they look like bedbugs live there happily. The bathroom is a whole other nasty story that I don’t have time to tell. Just throw the whole theater away !!!
Just saw a show tonight at this theater. When I purchased the tickets on line, I received a prompt encouraging me to order concessions to be delivered to my seat. I placed the order for $37 and it was never delivered. When we left the theater, we could not find a single person working. There is no ability to get a refund on line and no live person answers the phone. Beware!
Awesome reclining seats! Super comfy though better sit at row C or D so that you can recline fully and not feel like you're looking at your feet to see the screen. The food areas are not very well kept, though. Condiment and drink areas always seem to be a bit dirty. The theater and restrooms are pretty clean, though. Overall a good theater!
Some of the infrastructure of the building is old, but that adds to the charm and nostalgia of going to the theaters as a kid. All of the rooms I've been in have had the typical comfy recliners, so I'm not sure if some of the auditoriums have the older chairs as some have pictured. Just be sure to check their website if that matters to you!
Don’t lose any of your items here! They won’t pick up at all! I have called several times just to get a yes no answer on the fact that I left one of my items and every single time no one has answered! So don’t lose your items here because unless you go there you won’t ever know if they are even at the place
We went to see Avengers Endgame and it was good experience. We saw it in Imax 3D. The Imax and 3D experience were great. Sound was a bit low I felt. The seats were not recliner as i found at AMC washington square 2 months back. They could not even be moved a bit backwards. Overall good theatre.
Theater needed trash taken out and floor needed attention and employees were just standing around talking to one another. Screen in the theater we were in had a large bad place right in the middle of the screen that was pretty distracting. The theater is in need of some tender loving care.
We had a really good experience. We bought our tickets online. Easy in. Comfy electric recliners, however a bit worn. The theater was clean and the sound was excellent. This theater is about 30 minutes from our house but we will go back again...if something else comes that we want to see.
It was extremely hot in theater 10, ask the management staff to turn the heat down. Their response was they could not. We all suffered in the theater trying to watch creedIII. It would have been a much better experience had we not sweated like crazy trying to enjoy this movie.
My go-to theater on the NW side of Indy. Good variety of viewing options…room size and IMAX/3-D/Digital. The AMC app is easy to use and hold particular seats, and if you over buy tickets or have a no-show friend, you can get a refund up until the start of the show.
Watched the Avengers infinity wars in IMAX 3D here. The recliner seats are super comfortable and have smaller screens with only about 30 seats per screen. Staff is friendly and dint have to stand in queue for tickets or popcorn or soda the service was fast.
Went to go and see Creed III last night and the seating in IMAX theater 4 are TRASH! The seats are super uncomfortable (good luck if you're any bigger than me, 5'10" 215lbs), non reclining, and filthy. Will never purchase another IMAX ticket from here.
Seats are very comfortable. Easy access if you purchase tickets through the AMC app. Prices for concession items is still outrageous, but that's always the case. Good location and can get ice cream after at cold stone. Decent theater overall.
IMAX theatre room 4, old worn/dirty chairs. Was expecting something a little more updated for 20 bucks a ticket. Sound quality was ok. Food/snack selection was ok. Overall experience was just ok. Not bad, not great, just mediocre.
Great theater with reclining seats/assigned seating and not too big that it’s overwhelming. Was there on a Saturday and was surprised to see their bar closed as I bet they would’ve been slammed, but not a big deal at all.
This theater is out of many concession items. Half of soap dispensers were out of soap in men's restroom. The movie was as expected, but I wouldn't recommend from the lack concession items and state of restrooms.
I love this movie theater!! They have self check out and check in machines. They have very comfortable reclining sits. I will go to this movie theater anytime. So much better than regal at the mall.
Friendly staff, clean theater, gourmet popcorn and they have the touch screen drink machines with a lot of different options & where you can add any flavor you want to your soda! Highly recommend!
This place should not let kids in after 5pm. They need supervision. On 9/9 there was a fight. Yes the security and staff was reactive but this place has become ghetto over the years.
Theater was clean, bathrooms were clean, friendly staff, and nice selection of snacks. Wish theater's had reclining seats like some other locations, but still a fun experience
Went to see Avatar with my three kids in IMAX 3D. It was a great experience, but at $109 for 4 tickets, 4 drinks, and a popcorn it's not one we will repeat anytime soon.
Friendly staff. Menu is limited vs more modern theaters, but they have a bar. Not as clean as it should be. Seating in IMAX is dated cloth chairs, vs loungers.
Comfortable seats, and it wasn't freezing like half the theaters I've been to. We need to do a better job at cleaning the lobby, though the floors were filthy
Always a great experience with comfortable seating and a relaxing environment. The food is always mediocre and disappointing - and really should be improved.
Movie theater was dirty and help a little curt. The seats were comfortable and spacious. My seat recliner was broken. Picture and sound were excellent.
Good staff, clean theatre and quality screens overall. Really good place to see movies. The imax screen is crisp, seats are comfy and popcorn fresh
It was dirty and the customer service was horrible and the ice machine was out of ice and the girl was texting on her phone instead of serving
Smooth to get tickets, refreshments and locate specific theatre to watch your movie. I wish I had the chairs at home, they are so comfortable.
Bought the IMAX tickets. The seats seemed dirty, and too cramped. The screen was no different than a normal theater. Would not recommend.
Clean, large movie theatre with huge, reclining seats and decent parking. Icees on tap, and don’t forget the butter with the popcorn.
Like all movie venues, the profit is made at the concession stand. Nice comfy leather recliner made the movie extra special.
$50 later…. Cold pizza, warm hotdog, dirty theatre and torn seats. Doesn’t add up all the way. I would like a full refund.
Great theater but I’m not sure if they are short staffed or what but the drink stations/ napkin area is usually a mess.
Excellent theater. The best quality audio and video. Highly recommended for the best entertainment of all ages.
Cloth Seats are kind of dirty and theatre has a musty smell. Went to IMAX 4 theatre which is not true IMAX
Great facility, lots of parking. There's a bar inside for the 21+ crowd but I go for the gourmet popcorn
Great theater. Seating is comfy. Prices are standard for theaters nowadays. Movie was great
Come here if you love INSANELY overpriced food that’s served stale …
Great place for a great movie(Eq3), I only wish the seats were cloth covered.
Loved the seats in the theater very relaxing
