There's no denying that the prices at this cinema is a good price. I would say it is child friendly, which is great, since I have two little daughters. They have a party room for those who would like to host their little one's birthday event there. It is conveniently located, and often times very quiet, in comparison to Cineplex theatres. Their staff could brush up on their mannerisms. They have an okay selection of candy, but their popcorn is almost always stale tasting. And no real butter? I mean, come on. Surely they could afford to get real butter. You might as well buy Orville Redenbacher's popcorn, pop it at home, and bring it to the theatre. Besides their short comings of their concessions, the theatre is great. The auditoriums are always clean, and so are their washroom facilities. If you want a cheap, child friendly experience, I would recommend this place.

We have been going here for many years and at a weekly basis, every Saturday. We got to know Malik and Charles and giving them a shout out for a great job. When we started going, pricing was $5. Of recent, maybe the last 9 -12 months (as I recollect), pricing went from $7 in the matinee to now $10 for general admissions. The recent purchase of Rainbow and name change to Imagine had resulted in a dramatic admission increase. Increase in minimum wage at the beginning of this year, 2018, didn't help either. Rainbow was well run with many benefits. Imagine has made it more corporate with no value added. Screens are the same. Seating and carpeting are the same. Washrooms are the same. Took away some of the amenities Rainbow offered. Sorry, we haven't been there for a couple months and the only reason we went today was because the youngest wanted to see Jurassic World.

HORRIBLE experience!! Do not recommend coming here! It’s worth the drive to Queensway Cineplex. This cinema’s theaters are extremely small and outdated. The seats are uncomfortable and very dirty with stains all over. The only upside of housekeeping is the clean and non-sticky floors which are probably only kept that way because of the very limited visitors. What I found very upsetting was the staff not providing a small bag to split our popcorn between those who like popcorn topping and those who don’t. I’ve never had this problem at any other theater in my years. The staff kept repeating it is for inventory purposes and when I said I was willing to pay they told me I had to pay for the full popcorn price? Will not be back here again.

Understand that this is a small theatre so the screen won’t be as big as cineplex. I enjoy this theatre. Tickets and concessions are cheaper than most big theatres and they recently installed a butter machine for popcorn which is a plus! Free butter to smother your popcorn! The employees here are young and hard working and the place is kept clean as it can be. I enjoy the fact that the cup holders are behind other chairs so it’s in front of you. Would be nice to have reclining chairs too and maybe renovate the washroom. All in all great place for a budget.

This is another "No Frills" type of venue around the Toronto Area. If you are trying to stretch your buck a little, then this is the cinema you want to come to. They have a few theaters and admission is only $9.00 - a fantastic $5.00 on Tuesdays. The theaters are comfy, the screens are large enough (although there is a "screening room" with a tiny screen. They will tell you in advance if your movie is playing in this one). Hardly any lines (except on Tuesdays, perhaps) and the same movies the big theaters are playing. Great venue to catch a current movie.

We got a Groupon deal and discovered a great place to take the kids for their first movie theater experience. We had 2 giant bags of popcorn and drinks per Groupon deal and the kids enjoyed it! It's a no-frills way of seeing a movie---smaller theater, smaller seats (was quite comfortable), no arcade games outside but about $4-6 cheaper than bigger theater company tickets. We went to see Star Wars: the Rise of Skywalker on the first week it came out and it was pretty empty. The only downside is the crying baby in the audience but that can happen anywhere.

$5 TUESDAYS! ($9 every other day) Food isn't cheap... but where would you find cinema popcorn cheaper than printer ink anyway? Decent and up to date selection of movies playing all the time. Screen quality is good. Viewing angles could be better so try to get a center seat and pray no tall person blocks your view. Floors were recently repainted so it smells funny (October-November 2015). Protip: If there is a line for tickets at the front, go inside and buy tickets from the popcorn stand instead!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Went to watch the First Purge with a friend and the worker KICKED US OUT of the theatre half way through the movie. All of this JUST BECAUSE we did not have our ID showing that we were 18+. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Also, theatres are small, sound quality was horrible, chairs are VERY uncomfortable/itchy and the screen curtains kept shaking throughout the film. Do yourselves a favour, and DO NOT watch a movie at this theatre. :)

  • R B

Horrible experience. Theatre hall and theatre have a disgusting odour not even the smell of popcorn could disguise. Theatre was still dirty and sticky. Worst part were the other guests watching the movie!!!!! I have never seen at least three sets of people leave a theatre from the obnoxious people making noise. It was a horror movie that was taken as a comedy for these immature guests. No respect even after staff was told about the noise.

So we’re back with another review. I would like to say. The wood mine cinema is getting a cute upgrade. The washroom and cinema was VERY CLEAN. The pricing could be a little better. I feel like they should just make it a $10 flat rate for everyday and like $4 on Tuesdays. Seating was very comfortable, the seats recline back. Special shoutout to bareer for making our visit special. This theatre will see me again.

In an era of streaming and countless subscription services, it's nice to still be able to watch the latest Hollywood movies on the big screen without paying Cineplex's expensive ticket prices. For the best value, tickets are cheapest on Tuesdays. Recently, I've heard that Imagine Cinemas in the Woodbine has shut down. If the owner could verify whether this rumour is true or not would be greatly appreciated.

  • June C

Imagine Cinema is in Woodbine Mall, Etobicoke. There are about ten cinemas there. The price is only $10. They show current movies. Place is big and clean and seats are comfortable. The staff always clean up after each show. Bathrooms are clean. You can purchase tickets online or at the counters when you buy your snacks. Also I found the staff to be quite friendly. Safe for the kids and fun place for family.

  • Laurel

It's nothing fancy but it gets the job done. The staff are nice and the movie selections are always good. I have never had a problem with this location. The only thing is that I'm annoyed that they removed the movie options from the board outside. Something might catch my eye if I see it in passing, but it's a little inconvenient to chenck online or inside every single time.

  • Chris Rutledge

Thank God there are still movie theaters like this. Your ears are not destroyed by over amped sound.. You are not stacked at a 45 degree angle to see the screen. You only get a few adverts. The tickets are a fraction of Cineplex costs. The popcorn is way better. Is it the last word in cinemas? No. It is just great, as it used to be, affordable going to the movies.

  • Shawn M

Friendly staff, reasonable price for ticket and food is also decent. Theatre seats are vintage but that’s what you pay for. Honestly though it’s $10 for a ticket and cineplex is $13. However the nostalgic feeling and Reid my staff and most of all I don’t like 3D or 4d glasses so it’s awesome that they never have anything more then a regular movie. Thumbs up

  • Aafroze Aziz

Took my family to see the movie Moana. The customer service was so horrible. They no longer offer extra bags or empty cups for sharing. We bought large popcorn and sharing was difficult. When I asked for a bag, the girl was rode and would not even explain why. Never taking my family there again. They are horrible.

  • Anthony Gullo

What a difference from when it was a Rainbow Cinema. Very clean, bright and much more friendly staff. Theatres are clean and digital sound, was told seats are next to be updated. Not a fan of no more 1 time refill of popcorn or soda, but even bigger movie places do this now. Keep up the good work and renovations

  • Simran

It good but if you want a full royal cinema experience tha heres a thing that this cinema lacks in - the chairs are not swingable back and forth pther than that its good if you want a less audience theatre.I generally take myself out on a date alone with myself only to watch a movie once a week just for fun...

  • Maria Petrucci

I TOTALLY LOVED the popcorn! Extra butter and the seats are so so comfy! I brought a blanket so I almost dozed off a few times. The lady who served me at the consession stand was so so nice! I love this new reno! Tuesday cost me only $22. For movie and combo! TOTALLY worth it!!!!!!!! …

  • Rick Morelli

This place is great. Adults pay $10 and children $7. The snack bar prices are also a lot cheaper. I go see first run movies with my kids at this theatre. Over cineplex theatres you save $30 easy on a family of four for tickets and snacks/drinks. I vote to save money for the same movie.

  • Alexander Plewes

Very Disappointing. Staff would not let us through with our 2 drinks despite being allowed no issue on past occasions. Instead, we were told it was not their problem and we could leave our drinks in the lobby on an open table or exchange our tickets for the next showing 3 hours later.

  • Tyrrel Cabell

This movie theater is under rated. It has good movies and cheap prices. However you get what you pay for, the seats are a bit hard but if you are enjoying the movie you won't notice. It also has its own separate entrance so you can still go to the movies if the mall is closed.

  • Tia I

This movie theater always have the newest releases. You can walk the mall if your movie isn't ready or even dine in. This location is within my neighbor hood and the casino right across. As small as the theater, you will feel at ease and no other theater can beat this price.

  • Victor Diaz

It is a good place to enjoy a good movie. The bad thing is that the chairs are somewhat uncomfortable. the attention is good they are kind I give it 4 stars it is a good cinema to spend a good afternoon of film it would give 5 stars but the chairs are not comfortable

  • Nadine Levy

It's an older theater so the screens are smaller. The sound systems are older as well so you don't get that booming surround sound you would from the larger cinemas. With that said, it's a great theater to visit if you want to catch a flick on the cheap.

  • Connie Gail

Brutally awesome!!!!! If you want to experience luxury and see movies in comfort just go and see for yourselfs. I was there last night and I'm getting ready at this very moment to go again today . And the most important thing is that this is affordable.

  • Mars B

Nothing beats 5 dollar Tuesdays. However, I asked for a bottle of water from them and they charged me 5$ for it and I was shocked but I guess that's how they earn their money back. I also really like their washrooms. Always clean and smellls good!

  • Ruti

Great place for the cost! $6 movies on Tuesdays and $8 medium popcorn & drink on Tuesdays. Popcorn is also vegan ! Highly recommend if you don’t mind a little popcorn chew or chatter as cinema is smaller than usual and seats are close together.

  • Darlene Nastruk

Discovered by accident this theatre complex had reopened 5 months later! Nobody knows and there were 2 of us only in this movie. So they better get the word out. Love the new reclining seats but it was chilly so next time I'll bring a blanket.

  • Fardeen Ali

Great theatre, the atmosphere was great, very clean and organized, sound quality was amazing and the seating was awesome! Love the reclining seats as it makes you feel comfy and at home. Pricing for tickets are excellent and the popcorn was

Hi, All, this is worst place I have ever seen in Canada and US, I visited with my 3 kids and even though it was Saturday Dec 29 2018, all stores and shops were empty but we went just for reason of Spider man film in Image Theater, we bought

  • mekel samson

Not really tech filled simple order and buy tickets from one spot and go enjoy your movie, not as clean as other theatres or as big but this is one of my favourite movie theatres bscause of how simple and not tech filled this place is.Would

  • Jfablous Campbell

I would rate this broke down90s looking dirty cinema no stars at all!..I went to this movie theater this evening and I was told that I couldn't bring in an outside drink the stupid aggorant employee didn't even ask me if I bought the drink

  • Chelsea Iheme-Hall

Still the same old rainbow cinemas but with some nice tech / convenience upgrades. Tuesday’s are $6 and you can preorder tickets online to avoid the rush. Get there early as the theatres are smaller and good seats fill up quickly.

  • FN Anderson

***CLOSED DOWN!!!*** But when it was running for the money you paid was well worth it. Having it inside a mall was a dream come true for convenience. Spent many Fridays shopping then would catch a flick to end the night. Memories!

  • Gaby

You get what you pay for. $9 for adults, and $7 if youre a student. There are less seats and if a tall person sits in front if you, there head will be in your way. Its a much smaller screen and not much food is offered.

  • Amy l

Love going to this place with my friends and family. It's cheep and quiet and it feels like every seat is a good one. The staff were very kind and helpful when i needed them and i absolutely love how old fashion it is.

  • Deanna Huff

Great place, good prices, convenient location, comfy seats. Glad to go another cinema than a Cineplex chain. Nothing against them but it's nice theres still some healthy competition out there. I'll be back.

  • Precious “The Precious Mama” Lesko

It's crazy that I used to go here as a teenager and now, I'm taking my kids. Although it was called something else back then. Always worth the price. Not just on Tuesdays. Thanks for the memories! :)

  • Jaji Paji

love that it's close to home, not crazy busy and a movie costs just $10. Their nachos are good too. It has smaller cinema rooms and screens but that doesn't bother me or affect the movie experience.

  • Chris Dawson

Movie tickets are inexpensive and a good selection of times. Good selection of places to eat nearby is a bonus. Seats aren't as comfortable as the big theaters, but still pretty comfortable.

  • Luv3r Gurl

Prices are fantastic! Workers are well mannered. Its 99% cleaned properly. The theater rooms are a little bit smaller. But its a shame barley anyone goes there the theater is never full.

  • Chante Rene Dillon

The prices are reasonable. However, the theater has a bit of a funky scent upon entering. The lighting before the movie is very dull, but that is the least. The smell was the main issue.

  • Bryan Kwon

The free popcorn topping and the options available are great. I love the affordable movie popcorn drink combo and no previews it is BAM straight to the movie so don't be late.

  • Sherry G

The washroom was nice but the movie theater smelled like pee and the floor was sticky. Other then that it was pretty clean in the theater. The sound quality was good as well.

  • Hadiya Sajid

The food was excellent! I was very comfortable but the seats were a little bit squeaky when I was watching advengers endgame but it was fine!! All though it was pretty nice

  • Michelia Alba

I went on Tuesday and the ticket price is cheap, $6 only. The seat is not numbered so you can choose wherever to sit. It's good enough to watch a movie.

  • Morgan Saminathan

Seating is good and that’s it. Sound quality is loud & poor, they don’t dim the (bright white) lights for a while and they cut off mid-way on credits.

  • Harmeet Gill

Best recliner seats ever. The best popcorn and amazing prices. Go watch silent night. Jon woo movie. One of the best action movie since Jon wick.

  • Ms Sophia Williams
