During our recent visit to Cineplex Odeon cinema at Eglinton Square Center for the second time, we were excited to watch Mission Impossible 7 in the IMAX theatre. However, to our disappointment, the movie was not shown in IMAX format. Despite this setback, the seating was decent, as we managed to book corner seats since the middle ones were unavailable. The sound system, on the other hand, was excellent and greatly enhanced our movie-watching experience. One notable advantage of this cinema is the ample parking space available, making it convenient for moviegoers. Additionally, they have wheelchair accessible washrooms, which is a commendable feature, ensuring inclusivity for all visitors. Inside the cinema, there are food courts where you can grab a bite to eat before or after the movie. On another occasion, we visited for the first time and watched Avatar 2 on a regular 3D screen. Unfortunately, the sound quality was poor, which slightly affected our overall enjoyment. We acknowledge that it would have been beneficial to check the IMAX screen instead for a better viewing experience. While the seats were okay, it's worth mentioning that they were not recliners. It's interesting to note that even small towns in India have recliner seats, which sets certain expectations for larger cinemas like Cineplex Odeon. Overall, our experience at Cineplex Odeon cinema Eglinton Square Center had its ups and downs. The cinema could improve by ensuring the advertised format matches the movie being shown, maintaining consistent sound quality, and considering the inclusion of recliner seats for added comfort.

Cineplex odeon at eglinton has been my and my families go to getaway for nearly 10 years now having so many memorable moments and great show experiences with the amazing and friendly staff of cineplex. Unfortunately we’ve never had such an experience as unpleasant as tonight after our watch of the Blue Beetle movie. One of my friends whose name I won’t disclose due to confidentiality concerns. He is struggling with and epi pen and diagnosed physical disability which he suffered distress and the requirement of extended toilet use tonight in which the security guard on job decided to come upto us (overweight individual looked south Asian) aggressively demanding us to leave the theatre when so many others were still on their way out, we reassured him that our friend has a disability and he is almost done, and he kept pressurizing us, and the worst of all when my friend came out he called my disabled friend “mentally stupid” or something if I heard correct. With complete disregard for his conditions this is highly disrespectful. We urge his actions to be investigated and accounted for. This was one of the worst experiences here ever. All because of that security guard

Have been coming here many years and have seen over 20 films here. After waiting 14 years after seeing Avatar 1 in 2009, I bought tickets the first day they were available to see Avatar 2 in IMAX here for the very first showing on opening day Thursday afternoon. Arrived and was disappointed to see no Avatar II merch out/available for sale and no poster given (as is customary to moviegoers of the first show on opening day). I saw the manager working in the concession stand and asked him if they had any Avatar II popcorn buckets or drink cups and he said they had not arrived yet in shipping. Skeptical and disappointed, I went to watch the movie, which was good. When I came out 3 hours later, the theater lobby was packed for the evening showings and I saw all the Avatar II merch had now been put out. I don't know why the manager would just lie like that for no reason instead of admitting they're too lazy and cheap to put the goods out on time for the first show for a movie people have waited 14 years for.

I recently had the pleasure of watching “The Nun” at Odeon Cineplex, and I must say it was an experience to remember. The theater’s AVX picture quality was nothing short of spectacular, making the movie feel even more immersive. It truly was a visual feast for the eyes. The food options at Odeon Cineplex were surprisingly great, with a variety of snacks and treats that made the movie-watching experience all the more enjoyable. However, it’s worth noting that the seating could be a bit more comfortable. While it didn’t detract significantly from the overall experience, a little extra cushioning would have been appreciated. Despite the seating issue, I had a fantastic time at Odeon Cineplex. The combination of outstanding picture quality, delectable snacks, and the thrilling “The Nun” movie made for an overall great experience. I would definitely recommend Odeon Cineplex to fellow moviegoers looking for a memorable night out.

It is a good facility with all the expected amenities but my score is poor because of lack of accessibility. I am hearing impaired and thus I require a closed caption device which I know all Cineplexes have (or should definitely have). Me and and my husband bought tickets to watch the new Spiderverse movie and when I asked for the closed caption device, they were all confused and then one of the Cast Leaders went to get one which was not charged and they did not have a backup one. We could not watch the movie. They said that the device would take 30 minutes to charge and the next showing that was in 30 minutes was in an IMAX theatre which did not have the option for CC. They didn't offer any reimbursement or coupons. really disappointed.

Worst experience in my time coming to this location. We waned to take advantage of the buy one get one free off thats running but had already bought tickets to a sold out show. The girl that assisted us with this without understanding fully refunded our tickets and I was under the impression she would jus apply thr discount and reasign us our tickets. Instesd she refunded us and said for us to provide us the code, while she waited smiling and us scrambling for some code we weren't aware of she lets us know that our tickets are already taken. Very upset that this happened and we messed up our night. Workers need to be trained better and be informed about national promotions are currently being offered. Got no sorry, nothing.

  • Susan R. Jones

This cinema is conveniently located and has ample parking. The posters advertising the blockbusters are outdated. Today I was served a drink without ice and when I asked for ice - two of the workers instantly made comments to one another in another language. I'd be a fool to not realize it was not directed at me. Think Seinfeld and the Korean nail shop. I expressed that it was rude and not ok to not speak ENGLISH when serving customers. The young lady said she was making fun of her coworker. Still not ok in my mind. But, whatever. Someone spilled Pringles all over the floor in the women's bathroom. When I mentioned it to a staff member, they could not have cared less. The most disengaged, apathetic staff atm. Sad actually.

Had a blast watching movies here! Great seating, good air conditioning, friendly staff and overall fun atmosphere at this location! Only qualms I had here however was that late at night they lock the entrance doors from the outside... So if you go for a smoke or need fresh air after a while and try to come back, you will be out of luck and need to wait for someone to come by to open the doors for you. It's an issue of you need the washroom, so be prepared in advanced! Highly recommend any workers who see this review possibly think of putting up signs of these unwritten protocols of locking the doors. Some people were frustrated with this when it happened while I was there. Other than that, good location to watch movies!

Very bad experience at Cineplex Odeon Eglinton town centre. The manager and security are super rude to my kids! And he helped a rude lady to say bad things to me and my kids! I cannot believe the biggest theatre did that to my kids. Very very bad company!!!We tell the manager that it's not good to do that in front of the kids, what he did after is tell the kids he will call the police to kick me and my son out of the theatre! I said I want to complain the issue to the office, but he didn't care and threaten us that he will call the police. (You guys only have five minutes to leave before the police come!) So if the costumer is not satisfied then he can just kick them out or call the police to kick them out?

I watched Thor Ragnarok and Avengers Infinity Wars in IMAX 3D .The experience was great. This cinema has a lot of space and seats are comfy with more legroom. This cinemas is better than Scotiabank Theatre and Yonge Dundas. One can pay with Scene Card here. I had pulled poutine burger from Outakes and it tasted really good. It is located in Eglinton Town Centre(Eglinton St) so there are lot of places to shop and eat at within 3-4 mins walk. It has lots of parking spaces as well and connection by TTC buses 68 (Warden) and 34(Eglinton) Overall,I recommend this for IMAX 3D while Yonge Eglinton and CF Shops at don mills for VIP(full recliner seats)

  • Paul Hernandez

This is the theatre of choice for me and my partner, but we mainly watch the VIP seats! This is one of the only VIP Cineplex theatres where you can recline and let me say it really adds to the experience. Super comfy and the middle section/arm rest can lift so you can cuddle up with your friend/date. Food while over-priced like most theatres is still quite good. I recommend the truffle fries and the spicy chicken burger. Theatre is quite clean and the VIP washrooms are small but well kept. Located in the bustling Yonge and Eglinton shopping area, only issue is the ongoing construction for the Eglinton crosstown.

  • Avinash Mehra

I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. The theater boasts a modern and inviting ambiance, with comfortable seating and excellent sound quality that truly immerses you in the film. The staff members were friendly and helpful, ensuring a smooth ticketing and concessions experience. The theater's wide selection of movies catered to various tastes, and the screens were large and crystal-clear. The overall cleanliness of the facility was commendable. Whether you're a movie enthusiast or looking for a fun night out, Cineplex Odeon Eglinton is an absolute gem worth visiting!

  • Telal Elnezel

Good location at Eglinton Town Centre. It is close to Scarborough and gets a wide audience. Well related to a by TTC, once Eglinton crosstown starts more people using public transport shall visit. I really liked the fact it has numerous screens and has a wide diverse release of movies. The screen size and sound system is amazing in the theatre for regular screens too. The staff are extremely friendly and approachable. You get plenty of food options and kid's play area. A decent day out for all movie lovers.

  • Subrata Kumar Saha

It's a super great reat place to enjoy movies and relax. With its superb location, numerous screens, outstanding sound system, decent seating arrangement, and availability of a wide varieties of movies ( including Bollywood and similar), this location is sure to enhance your cinema watching experience. Add to that clean and accessible washrooms, ample free parking space, and friendly helpful staff. They also have popcorn and varieties of other snacks counter, and kids play zone - although a little pricey.

  • Jay Mac

The place was packed and we paid top dollar for prepackaged stale popcorn...with that many people the popcorn should never be stale and to prepackage it and they just grab it out of the cupboards. Then when you ask for extra layered butter they add more on top of prepackaged popcorn...that's not layered. Total ruined the experience for the first time my kids went to the movies. Never in 40 yrs of my life have I ever seen any threater grab prepackaged popcorn out of the cupboard and stale at that. Never.

I’m sharing this because I have a very kind person to thank to + this cineplex location is amazing. I’ve been here couples times because it’s near our place + amazing crew. It’s my first time to buy tickets and have to cancel it. Special thanks to Priscilla B. who helped us with all the questions & concerns about the tickets that we bought online. She’s one of the few people who would care to help you and make solutions with your questions. We really appreciate your help. You are amazing!

  • Mark Stenabaugh

Parking is a disaster. Arrive 30 minutes to walk from your parking spot. As far as I'm concerned, the price to see a movie should guarantee that there aren't 15 minutes of commercials and trailers before the main attraction. The prices of snacks and the 'midway' games are way overpriced. I'm unsure how a family with 3 or 4 kids can afford a night out at the movies. Then Cineplex wonders why there are so few people going to movies. Make it more affordable and more people will come.

  • Trevor Rodrigues

We went to see Barbie and was underwhelmed by the lack of posters or paraphernalia to take Instagram pictures. The manager of this location is loosing out on free advertising with location mentions on instagram and people of all ages who take selfies in front of a Barbie poster or backdrops. The staff here are very friendly and very nice though. The cinema was clean and the sound was fantastic! Invest in some Barbie photo walls. That's a huge missed opportunity.

  • Omar Myers

One of 4 near me! I usually just choose based on the best available show time for the movie I'm interested in watching but admittedly this is my preferred location. It's hard for me to put a finger on the specific reason except to say—it's a vibe. Sad to see so many empty seats night after night though. I hope people will start coming back out. I have my set up at home but the atmosphere in-theatre is just irreplaceable in mind mind

  • Elaine H

Could use some seating upgrades or at least a good cleaning. Some seats...good lord, don't look at them when the lights turn on. One of the screens at auditorium 7 had a burned in effect on the top left of the screen and while the movie was more than watcheable, I think they could at least replace or fix the screen for the price they charge per ticket. It was quite obvious on any light background scenes.

  • Noraina Mejdi

I recently had the pleasure of visiting one of your movie theaters and I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for the fantastic experience I had. I was also impressed with the selection of movies available. There were a variety of options to choose from, including new releases and classic favorites. The prices for tickets and concessions were reasonable and affordable.

  • Sheldon Brock

Dirty filthy, broken seats, old cinema over 22 years old never been remodelled or upgraded. Filthy washrooms, sound level far too high in auditorium to compensate for poor movie offerings. They removed the coffee lounge and you have to use their debit machine. No staff selling tickets. AVOID THIS CINEMA AT ALL COSTS!! Waste of money

  • Nick Kossovan

Given the size of the parking lot, parking is never an issue. Lots of great restaurants in the same complex (East Side Mario's, The Moose & Barrel, Tatami Sushi, Imperial Buffet), thus a dinner & movie night is one stop. Always a great selection of movie, good layout and games to occupy yourself before your movie starts.

  • Kyle Dela Cruz

Watched the Demon Slayer here with a friend last week and we had a really great time after not being able to go to the cinemas due to Covid-19. The staffs were nice and it's a good thing that there's social distancing and the place was really clean and spacious. Would love to watch another movie here again. …

  • Jacky Chhabaria

Very bad audio quality, just came out of movie, it was aud 8. Totally not worth it, first the lights were not turned off untill first 15 mins of moviex then they restarted the movie, then audio was very low and when audio was increased, the speakers started bursting out, very disappointed please refund my money.

  • Vijay Soni

Worst movie experience ever! Worst sound system! We were in screen no. 8. Literally scratching sound and bad speaker! We spoke with manager Matin but he didn’t accepted and very rudely spoke with us. We came out half of the movie to informed staff but even they did nothing! Never visit this place again.

  • Hasan Kayani

It was a great experience! The cinema here was clean. It has a large parking with convenient location to visit. Seats were very comfortable and roomy. Prices for food an drinks are ridiculous as you predicted. Let's just say no prices showing on the food menus. Staff is friendly & courteous.

  • BG G

Today is Monday 11th September..No hot dogs. No of anything for the ONE hotdog the was available.Cold popcorn. They did have hot water for the two teas. The excuse was the hotdogs supplier went bankrupt. I am a regular here and have never seen this before. It will not come on a Monday again.

  • ibrahim barmada

DON’T FORGET YOUR STUFF, at this location. The staff will rip you off, literally. My son was the last person to leave the theatre after the show, but still his wallet couldn’t be found. The management refused to check on the security cameras and they were rude and careless.

  • Margaret Finnie

A horrible place. The theatre had a foul oodour, and when the movie started we had to go out and ask for the house lights to be turned off. The bathroom was very unkempt. No TP and there was a leak somewhere so the sink area was blocked off. I most certainly never return.

  • Fernanda Rangel

I'm always going on Tuesday because it's cheaper. The other days it's also affordable but I like offers. You can get points with the Scene Card. The facilities are clean, the service is good, nothing fancy, and fair prices. It is a really good option to spend spare time.

  • Torontonian

The foods in the cinema are just rip-offs. When I asked how big is the box for 9$ poutine, the girl has shown me a big box. But when I get my order, only the bottom of the big box was covered by poutine. Bring your own foods and do not buy the foods in this cinema ...

  • JAKI ONEILL

We went at lunch time. We had to wait over 20minutes for popcorn and then when i tried to buy a coffee all they had was black?! The actual movie theatre (#2) had not been cleaned and you stuck to the floor due to all the spilt drinks. Movie was good though

  • Jane Jones

Atleast we can pay seniors prices for tickets. Food is a bit pricey. If you want to see a movie wait a week as you have a great choice of seats. Saw the Indian Jones movie in Imax and there were 10 in the theater. Seats are super comfy and recline.

  • Johnson K

Nice place with great accessibility for parking. For food just before, options include sushi, East Side Mario's, and even the Seafood City with hot food. This place has an arcade area as well while you wait with some games. Lots of showings daily.

  • Kamal Preet Singh

Best cineplex to watch movies in Scarborough. Just an excellent location. Clean and saves you the drive to downtown and Marham side else rather then to busy scarborough town centre. Really enjoy the shows here and the staff team is so kind ☺☺

  • Victor Solis

Had a coupon for 50% off nachos. Staff that helped me was too busy chip chatting with some girl in a sweater behind the counter, and having fun. Was difficult to get his attention quickly enough since my movie was starting. He seemed peeved

  • S A A Chaudhry

Clean. Less crowded. Various showtimes and good screens! Definitely a better soot than crowded alternatives. Also has a range of movies playing esp Bollywood, which some cinemas might not be showing. Definitely worth watching a movie here!

  • nick knickle

Went with some friends here to watch a movie and it was a good time. The arcade section is small it keeps you busy. There's a outtakes area its decent and there are more machines to pay with your card than cash register to pay for tickets.

  • Kanchan Kumar

Superb location at Eglinton Town Centre. Pretty close to Scarborough gets a wide number of audience. Well connected by TTC, once Eglinton crosstown starts more people using the public transport shall visit. I really liked the fact it has

  • Alex

This is the movie theatre I always went to as a kid so it’s nostalgic for me. It’s a good movie theatre that works efficiently. I went there yesterday actually to see the hunger games movie and they gave out posters so I enjoyed

  • Mic Visc

This is a nice sized theatre, clean and spacious. But Cineplex in general needs to improve their seats. They've done nothing, IMO, to improve them unless you're willing to pay extra for 3D or IMAX. Landmark seats are way better.

  • Robin Blair

I've seen at least 25 movies here, and almost always have a good experience. The place seems as clean as I'd expect, not too rowdy or anything. One time my gourmet popcorn was burned, but they replaced it upon request.

  • Anand Thakkar

I would like to watch new trending movie at cineplex There I can use my scene points and Tuesday is half price on movie Sceen was good only our theatre room was small so seating was ok okay but less leg space

  • Karolina Martinez

Good Cineplex location with lots of theatres inside. Has a decent little arcade for kids. Prefer this location over the Beaches one if you're in the East end and have to choose between the two.

  • Retso Reddevil

My first movie experience in . Was ok, didn’t like the fact that we couldn’t leave a seat in the middle and had to select seats up front under the screen. Went for Oppenheimer. …

  • S H

Visited the theater with my daughter. Had a very good experience. Clean place. Service excellent. This place is is in my neighborhood. I will visit again if there is a good movie playing

  • Mohammed Farea

Nice and big place. Amazing staff, they were kind and friendly. Clean theater. We watched Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One IMAX and It was fantastic. Also big free parking.

  • The Rumboo

This place is one of the best movie theatres in the eastern area. Greatly maintained, polite staff who run efficiently Durning busy times. Just don't come on a Tuesday, too many people.

  • Jatique Khan

Great place and always changing up to give customers the best experience possible. I wish they would bring back old movies for screening sometimes. That would make this place perfect!!

  • Dhruv Vakil

Best Cinema experience place was good, and staff as well. Ultra AVX is best. Emmersive sound and top notch clearity. Watched: Transformers: Rise of the Beast (Early Access) Ultra AVX.

  • Ayo A

Great location with lots of parking space and other stores nearby. Inside the cinema is clean and well maintained, although could be rowdy sometimes. Overall, everything works great.

  • Gopinath Sam

Cineplex to witness the best IMAX experience. Has food stall from popcorn combos to chicken, beef, burger and hotdog. Also has gaming arcade for the kids to have a memorable day out.

  • Maz For All

Cineplex Odean Eglinton is an "Experience ". Just the right place to relax and a catch a movie to de-stress and get recharged. Alone or with a group , this location is fantastic.

  • Tony Tran

Movie experience went well. Watched Oppenheimer. The sound was very good. Popcorn layered butter tasted amazing! Lots of parking and clean washrooms. I would recommend.

  • DLEE

Pretty decent atmosphere. Prices are outrageous but, it's happening everywhere. Short wait time at concession stand, staff friendly, and available to assist as needed.

  • R Garcia

The movie theater was clean overall, from the washrooms to the floor. People working there were pleasant and interested in doing their jobs. Overall a good experience.

  • Gursimran KAUR

ample of parking, seats are not that comfortable. The halls are dirty sometimes. Peopledo not pick up their garbage which is very dusrespectful. Overall its fine

  • Julia

Self serve tickets sucked, couldn’t even redeem the free movie vouchers I had. Luckily I had enough scene points. Watched Five Nights At Freddy’s, solid 2.5/5.

  • Sai Rajesh

All seats in the top row are inclined and they are not comfortable..screen size is very small not worth watching.. you will definitely miss cinematic feel..

  • JOURNEY WITH KEVIN

Love this place we visit every month. Staff nice, friendly, the theaters always clean. And they sell beers lol. Love to drink beer while I watch movies.

  • Romiza Khan

It's big and spacious, but the bathroom could be cleaner and they should have food vending machines as well they only have drinks in vending machines.

  • Meleq Hoxhaj

My experience in this place has been truly incredible, exceeding all expectations. Everything about it is just absolutely flawless!

  • Fahim Wasef

Decent spot for watching movies...loved their IMAX set up. However, the food options are limited. Need more halal options.

  • Hefe Taco

Great theatre when I go inside but don't order Uber Eats from here, they forget your popcorn from a popcorn combo order.

  • Tasnia Hasan

Good seats! Screen quality is good. Sound quality could be better in IMAX. Staff are nice! Food is very expensive!

  • Damian Poi
