We planned to go for Fast X. Suddenly in between the movie someone I don’t know from inside or outside threw a full cup of soft drink randomly on us. I don’t know how can someone enter the cinema hall and leave without getting noticed by the security. After this there was a lot of chaos in the cinema hall. Fight erupted. I don’t think this is the service we expected . It was a special day and and we thought of ending it with a good note but thanks to cineplex we weren’t able to. And later after this what we get is refund of the ticket that’s it. I personally don’t expect such service from cineplex. Fights and things are not normal for us. It is scary. I expect some kind of compensation for wasting our time and spoiling our day.

People were talking all through the movie, as is often an issue with Toronto movie theatres, especially Scarborough theatres. The talkers ruined half the movie for me by causing me to be distracted. I even moved and could still hear them. So I'm going to have to rent the movie when it becomes available to catch what I missed. Cineplex needs monitors in the theatres to tell people to be quiet and watch the movie. I had a friend that was talking during a movie in a Whitby theatre and a staff asked her to stop talking. Wish they would do that for Toronto. Sometimes I ask people to be quiet myself but they may not listen or it turns in to an argument. I don't even know why these people go to the movies if they just want to chat.

The theatre is ran well. Staff are well trained, polite and courteous. They have a good amount of options on food and video entertainment if you have time to waste before your movie. Prices are pretty much like every other theater. My only thing was how dirty the washroom was. Normally that wouldn't bother me so much because it's the customers who aren't respecting the place enough. However, as I was drying my hands I noticed a sheet that employees have to mark that they checked and cleaned the washroom periodically. Funny enough, someone had just checked and marked clean 5 minutes before I got there... Really... You were better off not having that sheet so I wouldn't know that someone didn't take their job seriously.

Absolutely incredible! I've had a remarkable experience here! Let me elaborate: The Service: It's very good! The people here are very kind and quick with giving you what you need. Popcorn isn't too expensive, and, the best part.. FREE refills! The Theatre: It's clean! Occasionally, people may take your reserved seat but it's not too often. The sound quality is good, and the screen display's great. The ARCADE: There's an arcade attached to this Cineplex, and it's BIG! You've got Big Bass, Halo, DDR and MUCH more! The prizes aren't too bad; like an Xbox One, PS4, and even a Hoverboard. Conclusion: I LOVE this Cineplex! Phenomenal size, and amazingly well maintained. Five stars from me! :)

Staff was very friendly and helpful , overall great staff but people stepping in to watch movies were very talkative, getting in late with flashing mobile lights straight into eyes, and it was a big disturbance ,also there were people in some one else's seats which created further more disturbance during movie was half way . It's a humble request to consider those who visit theatre to watch movies to have a great experience without these hassles and telling someone to be quiet is very annoying and irritating for all especially when we spend money , time to travel to watch movies at theatres and also late entry. I hope to visit again , hopefully it won't be the same. Thank you!

Just let people have a good time, no one actually cares if your having a bad day it’s not good to be rude with customers. Great theatre for an outdated cinema. Have been coming here for a few times.. great experience. The design kinda looks outdated. But I think they need to improve the seats, it kind is uncomftable for some people, and the design looks like the cineplex cinemas ottawa location. 5 stars at all times. (Need better seats, cleaning, better employees bc the guy we asked for the refill freaked me out, better xscape machines, and an expansion.) To be honest, this is a lot of pictures. Hope google appreciates my edit to this rating.. and probably giving this place a 5 star for now.

They refused to give my sick father water. A man with stage 4 cancer. Told him to bend over the water fountain. Even though he's barely mobile and has to take pills every 2 hours. Ill say that in order to have a liquor license it is a requirement to supply free tap water. A water fountain does not cut it. I will be filing a complaint against their liquor license over this. A human rights complaint as well for discrimination against a terminally ill man. Especially with how much money we spent there on food and their $10 beers. Despicable.

I’ve been here multiple times as this is my local movie theatre but I will not be watching movies at this location anymore. I’ve noticed the staff at this location treating black customers horribly and making them out to be liars. The cashier today demanded to see ID’s of black children under 12 because she automatically assumed that the kids are lying. I’ve also witnessed the ticket taker demanding to check bags of black moviegoers but let anyone else in without checking their bags. Very upsetting experience.

Went to see a movie which I original thought was rated R. Turns out it was rated pg even though it had swearing and adult content. Choose a seat and ended up with children I’m guessing under 12 taking ; giggling though out the movie . Even had the grown ups chatting and kicking the back of my seat . What a waste of my money . I went today as I thought Tuesdays were cheaper . Also I definitely wasn’t expecting loud children sitting behind me . It was a large noisy family . Very disrespectful behaviour.

My kids love this place. Playing the arcade games and looking at the stuff hanging from the ceiling. Kids parties are pretty cool here too. Many theaters yo choose from...regular viewing as well as AVX and 3D theatres. On opening nights of movies can get super packed inside so pack patience too. Black Panther was crazy opening night and we had to wait a week till it was less packed. Avengers Infinity War should be the same so we will wait patiently lol...

We had a wonderful experience there. Nice service and properly organized. I love their buttered popcorn. We had a nice time there. We watched "Wreck it Ralph" today and it's half priced in Tuesdays. We'll surely go there more and more times. Only drawback I saw that was there was no seat number allocations, so everyone was rushing to grab a seat.. they have to let the patrons choose the seats. Otherwise it's a great place to watch movies.

Like most Cineplex facilities these screening rooms are out of date and poorly maintained. Cinema 3 has light spill from the stair lighting so bad it entirely washes out about a third of the screen surface. And when I say washes out I mean there is no visible light from the projector in the bottom corners of this screen. Given Cineplex's total lack of screen standards this is no real surprise. Disheartening as always though.

I have been going to this Cineplex for quite a long time now, and I must say there’s a lot of improvements. Used to be a dirty, outdated place, now with the renovations and the addition of AVX they’ve come a long way. They’ve also increased their service speed so the wait times are not as long. The ticket machines also helps tremendously with saving time. Not quite like VIP theatres, but I would recommend for a good movie :)

I've been to Cineplex Cinemas Scarborough multiple times and it's my go-to location for movie nights. Located right by STC, it is accessible, comfortable, and clean. Not only that, but as a Scene member, I have to say that I've had pleasant experiences with their customer service. Both in person and online. Manan from their customer service line was of great assistance recently. Happy with their service overall!

exceptionally rude and argumentative manager. i hope you don't have the misfortune of needing an issue escalated before him. late night viewings are a mess. the crowds are rowdy and i've had fights break out in the middle of movies as well as having people yell "allahu akbar" in the middle of a packed theater. not exactly a pleasant viewing experience. also seats are uncomfortable and theater is usually dirty.

Very nice place, friendliest staff amazing food. Definitely a place to get away and amazing screens to view amazing movies. $1.50 for online booking is a buzz kill per ticket, therefore the removal of a star. If not for that and just the movie going experience is amazing. 1 thing which stands out is your ability to mix your drink which allows you to get creative with your drink selection.

Bought tickets for a show with my family of four. Proceeded to buy almost $45 worth of food at concessions. Decided not to when you wouldn't give my kid a cup so he can have water. You lost out on all that revenue for a 10 cent cup. Went to the mall to get snacks instead. Spent $8 including two bottles of juice. Your pettiness saved me a ton of money, so I guess I should thank you.

Last night i visited cineplex. Everything is okay but the one thing which I don’t like that was closed the drinks machine . We was already pay for drinks but at interval of movie , i came down for drinks and an employer behave me very rude .So , I advise to the management, please open the food section or machine till thé closing of cineplex.

This is one of our favorite cinema. Great for family and friends. Lots of parking. Staff are nice. You can buy movie ticket now at the popcorn counter. Scarborough Town Center is big and lots of shops. We enjoyed a stroll and checking stores and hang out at food court before watching movie. I highly recommend it.

2023 and they still have “no outside drink” policy. They just made me waste almost 20 dollars in a natural juice I had bought. I don’t know a place that still has this kind of policy in place. Overpriced movies and food, for a cheap, terrible experience. Spend your hard earned money and free time anywhere else.

Experience was generally good there is also food you can buy to bring in the cinema albeit a bit expensive. Theatre is nice all the seats even the ones at the far end can still see the movie perfectly. Also has options on the haptic feedback seat if it is available. There's only one washroom on the first floor.

I was able to watch an amazing movie there. I'm sure the others enjoyed too. But there were so many people moving here and there. They should have people to administer folks in the cinema. Even some kid was crying all the time and the boys sitting right to me kept on talking. The overall experience was great.

I always come to cineplex to have a jolly time before the movie while I wait. They have a bunch of games. Not a lot but enough to keep you occupied and kill time. I've got nothing wrong to say about this place. They have a huge parking space, Customer service is great, clean washrooms and they have all the regular movie munchies ;) To make things better the play arena got some good games to play with you want to kill some time before getting into the movies.

I webt there last sunday with my daughters to watch little mermaid new movie. We enjoyed but we missed the beginning of the movie because the staff wasn't so sufficient enough to show us where we can find Tthe 3D hall. We took like 15 minutes to find it. Other than that it was magnificent.

i really like this theater i saw xmen days of future past here and i only went once but this is a really good theather in my opinion better than yorkdale cinemas and there is a lot of choices here, games, movies , snacks this is the one place i like going to in the mall

This location is the movie theater of choice for my family and I. Food is good and the soda pop machines Rock. On the down, the theater has become outdated with thr last major changes happening around 1998 or so. CINEPLEX needs to update theater interior.

Watched elemental 3D today. The have around 10 theater. 3D screen was good. Big clean space with friendly staffs. They have only one gate open so counter enter from the shopping mall. I suggest you to go atleast 30mins before the movie time. Recommended.

The place can use some cleaning and more sanitation habits. Overall it is a quick escape place if you are just in and out of the movie theatre. Overalls experience is amazing with easy accessible parking and friendly staff.

Always crowded but my kids love coming here. No exceptional service by the staff but ok service. Lots of options food,snack available. Beer is another great option to enjoy the show. Beer stall is just at the entrance near.

A lot of work must go into keeping this place running. It has been one of the cornerstones of STC. Hopefully you have Scene points saved up because the movies (just like everything else these days) are super expensive.

Tonight was an highly unpleasant night. came to watch fast X, and had to endure some unwelcoming body odour. Just upsetting to know I paid to enjoy a movie and had to leave because the odour was upsetting.

The best Cineplex location I've been to, the theatres are large and the seats are nice, booking a ticket at the location was a breeze and so was getting food and drink. Made for a great night with family!

Brought tickets in person using expired prepaid with a trainee at the box office, all went perfectly. It was a Monday, so no line ups and found parking close to the entrance. Theatre 9 was fine.

Lots of renovations going on to the mall and the theater so no mall access as of June 2023. Theater seats are a bit dated compared to other theaters. Still a solid place to watch a movie

Went yesterday. Nice place with many screens and many snacks options along with gaming arcade. We payed with scene+ and they have special discount for scene+card holders.

I haven't been here much over the years but it was pretty cool to be able to have a beer while watching a movie. The fries and gravy was honestly not bad at all.

It's a large well maintained cinema. Love that it has hindi movie playing which we watch. Not all cineplexs offer that option.
