A cinema that has nice theatres but is easily disregarded as a viable theatre to go to simply because: - Theatres are way too hot to the point where enjoying the movie is hard to do because you’re apparently watching this movie a few kilometres away from the sun. - The amount of people that go to these theatres just to be noisy and be on their phones defeats the whole purpose of attending the theatre ruining the whole experience for everyone watching - Employees that don’t even bother to try to stop the patrons being loud. Although it is a nice theatre with a nice snack/bar selection and nice viewing experiences (dbox, gold lux, etc), it is ruined by the above points.

Please note: This review is NOT for the Highpoint location but for the online assistance staff. Highpoint is a great and clean cinema and the staff are lovely. Online however is the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I wish I could give them 0 stars. From ignoring emails, being condescending, having to repeat yourself to dismissing you, Hoyts head office apparently do not value customer satisfaction and loyalty. Thanks to this, I have never been a bigger fan of Village Cinemas and will go out of my way to see a film there. Thank you Village Cinemas for setting a benchmark in online customer service. Hoyts have a lot to learn from you.

Went to watch killers of the flower moon with my partner, left 20 minutes in, unfortunately there were two young men being really disruptive throughout the movie making it practically unwatchable, they also brought in burritos to the cinema which made the whole cinema smell like their food, it was horrible, that was not the worst part though. We saw a mouse crawling around in front of us in the theatre and that was our queue to leave, thankfully the staff gave us our money back, they also promised us vouchers but never sent them through.

Such a happy experience to see Avatar 2 here! And in 3D too. Great big giant comfy chairs. Lots of space for each of us. I'm tall but didn't feel cramped at all. I have nothing bad to say about the picture or audio quality. Everything was perfect. I'm glad we went here :) I would be happy to recommend Hoyts and I would be very happy to go again, considering the nice experience we had there together :) Hopefully we can all go again soon

One of the worse candybar and cafe . Hoyts team have no idea how to run the hot food section , all staff were rude and have no idea where was the order and how long will it take , during movie how to wait for 40 min for the hot food order (MISSED THE HALF MO CIEand fot thw burn chips , really pathetic, request to hots is to run the theatres only Don't run the food). VILLAGE is much better in this

High point is handy when you live in the northern western suburbs. All the big shops and popular brands. Easy parking, cinema, supermarket, Apple Store, food court. During special days and holidays like Christmas, weekends or Black Fridays, it could get over crowded, but going there during the week could be very pleasant and quiet enough to walk along without inconvenience.

Visited the Lux experience, the staff was super friendly and helpful, the menu offered more than enough to get you through any movie session. Seats were comfortable and even had wireless charging for your phone. A negative about the whole experience was that the drinks took about 25-30 mins to arrive after the movie had started. 7/10

Great seats. Good sound. Picture had marks on it. Lose a star for 20 minutes of ads and ridiculously overpriced concessions. I also appreciated there is plenty of parking in the area, lots of food options. Just try to go during off peak times to avoid the self-centered and rude patrons.

It's been years since I've watched a movie at the cinemas so imagine the surprise and delight to find the big reclining seat and large leg room in the standard theatres at Hoyts!! So comfortable and definitely gives me reason to go to the cinemas a lot more now. Well done Hoyts!

Great seats, cinema experience. toilets are usually clean. Wide range of snacks to choose from - soda, popcorn, pizza, fairy floss. Kiosks to buy tickets are easy to use but I would recommend buying online to avail of family of 4 discounted

How hard is to get a coffee in this place. Stood around the bar like a zombie waiting for staff, then when one turned up she said she couldn't serve me. Certainly missing the human touch. I’m surprised they even have ushers to check

If you are going to offer free refills on popcorn, the least you can do is have staff available to provide the required service especially on shows running late into the night. Given the high prices you charge, it's not asking much.

First time experiencing their Onyx Cinema and watched Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania. Overall a great experience. Very comfortable chairs. Very clean. I was underdressed though so it was a little cold for me. Highly recommended

Hoyts have great movies and cinemas. Highpoint have most cinema types, Lux, IMax, Xtreme Screen, but no recliners in their normal cinemas yet. (I have been told they are coming). Lux is definitely worth while as a special treat.

Our first time experiencing Lux was so incredible, I strongly recommend. Hubby and I finally had a night to ourselves, and decided to make the most of it by coming to Hoyts Lux in Highpoint.

I had a popcorn there but it was too much salty really got disappointed by it hope you will do something on it popcorn can meet the energy of movies so make sure to serve better …

Awesome recliners at Hoyts and theatre closer to food court. We watched kids Movie ‘Paw Patrol’ and they loved the popcorn corner n options to choose their drink.. self serve

Oryx cinema is state of the art, seats that go back and feet rise of the ground, best way to watch a film Definitely go back to see some good films in there man

This is like my second home. I really enjoy seeing movies in enormous screens with state-of-the-art sound systems and now the seats are upgraded, sublime!

Owen served me today while I was in the Lux lounge waiting for my screening, Owen was so lovely and welcoming. Will definitely come here again.
