I had the privilege of attending the 2023 Rugby World Cup finals at the Monte Casino Boktown open fanpark, and it was an unforgettable experience. Thank goodness i made advance bookings an got my arm bracelet to gain access on the day. The venue's atmosphere was electric, with fans from all over the world coming together to celebrate the sport we love. The outdoors big screen TV provided a larger than life view of the game, and the picture quality was top notch. It felt like I was right there in the stadium, cheering for my team. The seating arrangements were comfortable, and there was plenty of space to move around and interact with fellow rugby enthusiasts, and also plenty of space for dancijg and jiving when we scored points. What truly set this venue apart was the incredible sense of community. Everyone was there to support their teams, but there was a mutual respect and camaraderie that transcended rivalries. The staff was friendly and efficient, ensuring that we had a great time from start to finish. The food and beverage options were diverse, with a wide range of delicious snacks and drinks to keep us energized throughout the game. Exploring the suuuuper cool Italian-themed shopping experience during the festive Christmas season was a delight. The ambiance, adorned with twinkling lights, created a magical atmosphere that transported me back to the charm of Italy. Although I missed the chance to ascend and explore the shops, the glimpse of the restaurants and gift stores was captivating. The highlight of the place is undoubtedly the mesmerizing ceiling. Its design is amazzzzinnnngggggg – a masterful camouflage that seamlessly blends with the sky, enhancing the overall aesthetic. The clever use of architectural elements adds a touch of perfection to the ambiance, making it an immersive and visually stunning experience. While I didn't get to fully immerse myself in the shops, the restaurant and gift places left a lasting impression. The Christmas lights added a festive touch, amplifying the holiday spirit. If the exterior is any indication, the interior must be a treasure trove of Italian-inspired wonders. Despite missing out on some aspects, the overall atmosphere and design make it a must-visit destination, offering a taste of Italy's enchanting charm right in the heart of the shopping experience.

Largest casino available in four ways Johannesburg where one can come and try hands on roulette wheel or in gambling machines if a rookie. For professionals they offer too many tables over number of games. One can come here not just for gambling but for good food and shopping since the casino has food court with wide variety of restaurants and cuisine. Monte casino also have multiple ATM’s and shopping stores to shop around. Overall a great place to hangout with friends when in Johannesburg.

Our go to place for hanging out with friends. There is something for everyone here. You see all age groups of people. So many beautiful restaurants, casino to play, movies, food courts, arcade, bowling, laser tag, plays, desserts, shopping, everything. This place is also quite safe that we haven’t heard of any incidents that we are aware of. The false ceiling and the fountains give it European vibe. You will take loads of pictures here. A must visit for anyone

Lots of restaurants and theaters. Fun place to visit, but we missed the legendary sky painted roof? It was very dark inside the casino and very busy. Avoid peak hours if you get anxious in crowds! I would not say child friendly (little kids approximately 1 to 7 years). There are very few family-friendly restaurants with play areas (I know there is a Spur but do not know how the playarea is).

This is definitely a must go place for those who've never been there, the place is beautiful and it's warm inside so there's no need to overdress. Amazing activities to do inside if going as a group also an amazing place for a date with amazing restaurants and bars. I've been there four times this year that's how I've fallen in love with the place. NEXT TIME I'M GOING TO THE CASINO

For the casiono lovers, yeap that's the place. There are a variety of restaurants to choose from. Cinema inclusive. Hotels within and nearby. One can get to the place by Uber or the Gautrain bus from Sandton train station. To view the lovely exotic birds, days from Wednesday to Sunday Fourways Mall and Fourways Crossing is about 19mins walk.

I was here at Montecasino merely to meet and greet with our President that visited SA for BRICS Summit. From the outside is a nice and fancy place. Not sure how does it look inside the room an all other facilities as I was only outside and at the Reception inside area. I am sure its a great place as couple of Head of State was staying here.

@fireroom , once again you outdone yourself. Hubby and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary , we forgot to make a reservation. We left our cell number and it was literally 10-15mins , we got a table . Superb place for a hangout anytime of the day in Johannesburg . It feels like you have come to the tuscany region of Italy. The place is a huge indoor air conditioned place full of lovely restaurants, bars, cafes , shops, games and movies and theatres. Every nook and corner of it is insta worthy.

What a vibrant atmosphere at Montecasino! You can truly feel the festive season in the air. From money being spent to family outings....the buzz is awesome! Despite the chaos, I absolutely loved the energetic vibe of the festivities. Amazing end to 2023!!

Come as you are, 20 bux parking, and you can spend as little as 80 bux on a wimpy to share. Can walk around and watch the rich people, if you dress well enough they think you are one of them. Lovely place, gotta go back for the poker !

Pretty Christmas decorations and vibe. Went bowling at the bowling alley, really nice place. Although the lights are crazy distracting. Fun fun nonetheless. Not a big fan of the parking area, not easy to find parking.

Lots of restaurants. Easy to park and go in. There are lots of things to do. It's very entertaining. Christmas lights looks beautiful. Security staff could be more friendly. But overall a good place.

What a lovely day spent with my colleagues. Started with ten pin bowling then went on to have lunch at Nikos. Great food, atmosphere and the best part was breaking of the plates (my first)

It was an awesome place. I visited last week here for Rugby final match. CASINO is also very good here. Overall I would definitely recommend this place for hangout.
