This is the Best Ster-Kinekor I have ever been. The place is 1st class. The self service station is awesome. You buy your tickets and snacks n collection is flawless. There are many self service stations soo when u go there there is no need to arrive 30 minutes before. U only need 5 minutes. Everything is running smoothly. When u inside the Cinema is beautiful. Beautiful comfortable leather seats. And the walk in way to inside Cinema has led lights that show u the way. I love the love nest seats. Pic is included. You just have to come n experience this once.

Terrible Cinema No3 . ( I believe this Cinema is for children & NOT for Adults ) .. as the spacing / leg room is non existent- Disgusting ! -- Management should know that they should NOT screen an Adult movie like OPPENHEIMER in Cinema No 3 , but Management does NOT REALLY CARE about its Patrons at all - for All the want is MONEY , - Never mind if their Patrons are comfortable or not. - i shall NEVER EVER Patronise Ster kinikor ever again at Sandton City . Truelly a disgusting experience had by myself & partner . Horrible !

I love movies! And the cinema experience of buying, your ticket, getting your snacks and walking into a darkened room is well held by Ster Kinekor. The staff is friendly and willing to assist. My only reason for giving it 4 stars, is that there is a considerable gap between the seating and the screen. The distance is noticeable and felt prior to the screen's activation. It doesn't interfere with your watching experience however. I look forward to trying out their Prestige lounge for a luxury cinema experience.

Hi, We watched Fast X on Saturday at Sandton City. It was a great movie and naturally a big turn-out. Not sure why SK changed the popcorn boxes to paper bags (i'm guessing environmentally friendly) , it was absolutely noisy during the movie as people kept opening/ closing or fidgeting with it and ruined the entire experience. Please look at reverting to popcorn boxes :)

I quite enjoyed this Ster Kinekor. It was my first going to this one in Sandton City. It was pay weekend so Sandton City was packed and Ster Kinekor had quite a few people in it. But there were plenty of self-help of kiosks and the line for popcorn and slushies was moving. The film experience was also good, the theater was clean and well maintained

Going to see a simple movie has become such a ridiculous mission! You have to use the ticket machine to order your refreshments now. Sometimes the machines work. Really complicating a simple system. And the popcorn comes in a paper bag. Such a disappointment. No longer the classic movie experience.

Good movie venue. The new popcorn bags are a from me. Could not hear some of the dialogue properly because of the consistent noise from mine and other people's bags!! Bring back the popcorn bags. Or should we start bringing our own empty containers to reduce the noise levels? …

Comfy seats, big screen, clean cinema, a long slide down the one side of the cinema seats ending in a pool full of soft cubes, (probably only in the kids cinemas though) freshly popped popcorn, slush puppy, packet of whispers - what more can you ask for? Always a pleasant experience. …

Went to watch a movie last week at Sandton Cine Prestige.. you pay extra for the luxury seats and the chance to have a snack but the menu is so poor .. no more pizza and half of the stuff not in stock... had to settle for a hard panini... bring back the magic plse ...so disappointing...

Service not so great and accommodating. Even though it was not busy, the lady selling popcorns refused to assist me use their self service snack machine instead, she insisted that her area is a point of collection not to buy. Found it very odd as not everybody is techno able!.

Loved the experience and when you're doing it with 3 or 4 people in the car it's not too expensive! Gave the thrill of a night out to the movies but we didn't feel too bad for talking while watching! Staff were super helpful and kind and it was all around a fun good night!

Cheaper prices for kids only apply before seven; kiddie theatre equipped with 'beanbag' seats that are hellishly uncomfortable for adults considering the cost; place is well maintained however; machines for booking v slow; rather book online beforehand.

Very good experience. Lekker comfy seats. Cinema was clean and up to standard. Was my first time there, will definitely go back. We paid for our snacks when we purchased our tickets (at the help-yourself kiosk) and the pickup was very easy and quick.

ALWAYS great service from the staff, and the cinemas are a gre in wonderful condition. Sadly no IMAX and if there is Dolby Atmos it can certainly be tuned to really boost the sound immersion and quality. The children's cinema is a blast!

Visiting from out of town and was pleasantly surprised by this cinema. Food and beverages were easy to get, the line was long but moved fast. The cinema itself was good; the seats were big and comfortable and I wasn’t even in Prestige.

The best cinema in the Joburg area. The standard cinema: Seats are comfortable. The popcorn is fresh, the soda has acid and the staff has a great atmosphere. Cinema Prestige is also very enjoyable, comfortable and overall great.

Clean, tidy well organized at 5pm show, nice young attendees to help pensioners with the no cash ticket & popcorn, drinks purchases, the actual movie theatre was very chilly however...but it is a cold day!

Lovely staff at the prestige lounge. The only downside was that there are no small tables in the cinema so there's nowhere to put your popcorn which isn't great otherwise pretty standard.

Lovely movie theater with recent movies. Best movies and a kids movie centre. Great pop corn and shakes. The audio is amazing and the screens are very clear.The premises are clean

Plenty of self help interfaces extremely clean and very friendly stuff members. The cinemas are big and neat and safe, would definitely recommend this Sterkinekor

I loved the ambience, the comfortable and clean seating, the amazing anesthetics, great service and quality offering. The movie prices were a little steep though.

It's always neat and clean. Not alot of snacks to choose from but the sound and picture quality is good. Their 3D movies aren't as prominent as I'd hoped though.

Watching The Nun 2 and someone dressed up as a nun and floated around the cinema causing chaos if it was a staff member, you guys are the actual best!! …

Great movie cinema. Not so sure about the noisy popcorn paperbags. They rather put popcorns in un- Noisy packs. Whateva happenned to the box containers?

Movies have become pricey but I'm a movie lover and just enjoy the whole experience of going to the cinema. When I have the budget, it's a no brainer

We went to this cinema for Shangchi and the legend of the ten rings. This was supposed to be 3D but someone seriously messed up settings.

Rubbish cinema, dirty and overpriced. Also, stale popcorn served in cheap paper bags, don't waste your money here.
