We watched Super Mario Bros at theatre 5. It was a Tuesday night so not a lot of people watching (we counted, we were all 7 people inside). We Watched the 715pm schedule (the other one was a 215pm). Room temperate was okay since it was cold outside considering. Neat Place, comfy seats and not smelly, good audio and acoustics, and the over all experience was fun. Wasn't allowed to bring our food bought from our Dinner out though. neat toilets. You will know the carpet looks old but doesn't smell and look one. GO and watch your favourite movie there. Highly recommended.

Back in July 2015 I went to Rosebud Cinema. Bought tickets, drink and a yummy. When I sipped the drink a foreign body work like came into my mouth I was nauseated. At the end of the movie I took drink and foreign body to staff who were not at all helpful nor apologetic. I was disgusted and vowed never to go back. I rang the cinema afterward but no joy or diplomacy either. Thankfully gr8 cinemas in Frankston and Mornington. I still have the photo of the contaminated drink. I was a brilliant Cinema previous to current owners.

It wasn't quiet during December 2014 and January 2015. The influx of visitors is great for the peninsula but not so good for moving goers. However, timing is crucial so suggest buying tickets the day before. That way, there is the possibility of seats at the back of the theatre, not in the front where few like to go!

I can highly recommend this cinema. Staff are friendly and efficient. Cinemas, although a little dated and without the trendy reclining chairs, are clean and accessible. There are lots of snacks to choose from and location is convenient. I’m happy to pay a little extra, to support local. Heaps of parking.

Lovely, staff, really comfey seats and I'm fussy about that. Plenty of room to get past other seated people without doing gymnastics plus great screen and sound. They even have "sensory friendly" sessions with low volume anddimmed lighting specially for autistic kids!. See my picture.

It would be 5 if there were ramps. Disabled humans still like movies and check where you keep the butter for the popcorn.. It smelled a bit off to me. Apparently you call first and they unlock tunnel entrance s.. um so call first or get your support aware of this..

The sound in Cinema 1 was just not good, hard to understand the dialogue at best. Same with image quality, you can actually see the colours splitting, not sharp whatsoever. Better off driving 30 minutes to a larger movie theatre, prices will be similar anyway.

  • Warwick Ruse

session time advertised as 11:45. released from lobby at 11:45. 3 min walk to screen. on entry main film underway and about 15 mins in. after complaint (s) from audience, restarted. with the ads it must have commenced about 25 mins before advertised time.

Some days are really quiet some days are very busy especially school holidays . It's a great place great value for money compared to some of the big places. The toilets are clean and a few games out located in the foyer for kids to play before the show

  • Janelle Browne

Great value cinemas. We saw Supermario Bros. The kids loved it. The staff were friendly and the cinema was nice and clean. The seats are a little dated compared with other cinemas but still comfy. The selection and price at the candy bar is fantastic.

  • Renee Du Bois

Good value for money - some seats in some cinema theatres need replacement; better cleaning required; better lighting as seat numbers cannot be seen without using the flash light on the phone but generally happy, staff are very friendly. Good job.

  • Kelly Garland

What a treat. A little cinema found just off the main street. Comfortable. Has all you need for a viewing pleasure. Went here for a screening of The Shape Of Water. Acoustics seemed very reasonable. Nice place to go when you're tired of crowds.

  • Judy Kane

I love Rosebud Cinema..However it is highly understaffed.. causing patrons to miss the start of their movie because they waiting in line to be served by a staff member also in charge of the popcorn drinks and any other combos ( he was flat

  • Marzia R

Love it here!!! Just seen Jurassic World. Fantastic big cinema lounge/screen...top notch sound i was surprised! Clean inside toilets could be little better cleaned, but staff is very friendly!...so glad is so close to home! …

  • Stuart Pearson

This cinema is one of the best I have gone to in a long time, the staff where super friendly and the facility’s where awesome, we saw the Avatar rerelease and both the quality of sound and image were far better then anticipated.

  • Rob Bell

A modern cinema, but not part of a large chain. It shows mainly current release movies. Parking is plentiful almost at the door. Admission and food prices are comparable with the big chains in Melbourne, or maybe slightly better.

  • Jennifer Louise (Jen)

Not cheap unfortunately but I am more than happy with the perfect location and snug-ness of it. Plenty of room for parking and it is nice and cozy inside. When I went, it was nice and clean and I enjoyed the feel of the place!

  • Harry Fitzgerad

My favourite cinemas on the peninsula. You guys are all wrong. I've been there about 2000 times in my lifetime, not once have I seen bad quality, staff, sound nor chairs & food items. Amazing Cinema, keep up the good work..

  • David Salt

Great independent cinema - quite small but comfortable and not too busy outside holiday times. Always playing the latest movies. There is also a snack bar with drinks and popcorn etc at the standard cinema prices.

  • Swaine

Great place expect afterwards the late night movies you try to leave and all doors are locked shut and no staff in sight. Maybe you could put a sign ? I don't know if other people have been confused about this.

  • Alan Kirke

2 children and 2 adults $54. We went on a Wednesday(Peppermint) just before Christmas so maybe cheaper...not entirely surely. Cinemas where small but cosy. Nothing to complain about for a small local cinema.

  • Bee Wise

So quiet, can always get in. Always good seats. Lovely boy served us ice creams and tickets and was very friendly. Clean facilities. Comfy seat and huge foyer area so you don’t feel claustrophobic.

  • Lynette Mitchell

Went to see a presentation on the Dreamweavers, which was lovely and had enjoyed watching. It was awesome seeing myself in one of the short films (The Environment) and my name up in the credits.

  • Shaun O'Halloran

It pays to buy tickets online beforehand as you get priority service at ticket counter. Seats are too narrow & uncomfortable for me & badly need an update. I found cinema 3 overly hot

  • Bow K

Rosebud cinema is an old school institution. Feel to it, great to watch a movie with kids... i personal have been there several times and the place is great and seat are comfortable.

  • Sue Nunn

Great experience. Film was fantastic . We saw Top Gun Maverick you need to see it to experience the excitement.vThe chairs were comfy and the food bar had quite a variety of choice.

  • Sally-Anne

Rosebud Cinema is a favourite, small but efficient, great staff and FRESH POPCORN!! None of the pre-made and sitting in a warmer stuff. Reasonably priced for families too.

  • C P

Love the Risebud cinema. Staff chatty, helpful and friendly. Theatres clean. Shows on time. Unfortunate they have restricted opening times due to our current restrictions.

  • Dianne

A convenient location, as I'm local. However it was completely freezing in the cinema and has been, every time I've been there. Not very nice to sit in a cold cinema!

  • Janice Martin

Great theatre. Seniors can join a club for 8.50 for a year and then only have to pay 8.50 to see the best movies. Very comfortable and clean theatre. Easy to get to.

  • Janet Skopilianos

Went to a late session with my family, saw a great movie. It was great to see good old fashion customer service that you don't find any more in the big name cinemas.

  • Lyndal Di Deo

Old fashioned cinema kiosk good, bit slow getting in to your movie session, need more staff. Lighting for seating is inadequate. Still a relaxing vibe.

  • Gus Ferguson

Nice to be able to use these cinemas last night for the Film Festival showings! Comfortable seats. Good cinema for films down on the Peninsular
