I think this is the most affordable Ster-Kinekor in Johannesburg yet it really delivers high quality. If it's a premiere, it can get busy and crowded which isn't always bad. I've watch a couple Marvel movies here and the atmosphere was amazing being surrounded by Marvel fans, so in that case the crowd was not a problem at all. Just to be safe, get your tickets early for premieres. The only reason I stopped going here is that it's not the safest. Not the actual cinema! But the area itself.

Most preferred. Well maintained restrooms just for cinema users. Sound and picture are well balanced. Management on-site, problem solving done promptly. Missing 5th star, is because there’s not a lot of interactive promotional banners especially for kids. They have a huge, dull underutilized foyer. Waiting area is small but acceptable.

The cinema itself isn't bad but the area is not the safest took my daughter there and while we were eating my phone was taken out of my pocket and when I tried to run after the guy I saw another two approach my daughter so I said fvk the phone and went back to her. Won't be going there again though

Newtown Junction is a trendy mall. Loved by youth. When I first took a tour of the mall I was already impressed and when I saw that there's Sterkinekor I was really sold. The mall has everything but Sterkinekor makes it whole. All your favorite movie additions are shown here at the best experience.

It is not a crowded space and the service is excellent with a very clean environment, I like watching movies when it's not so crowded and that's why I really liked it.

The Cinemas are always kept clean, the Prices are the best compared to any around, and the staff seems pretty nice, there's good leg room also.

The seats are quite comfortable. Its gets so packed though! So maybe go really early if its the premier of a really popular movie.

This Cinema is no longer operating and they didn't update it on here. Useless if you ask me. I wasted my money going there.

I always go there once a month with my girlfriend, I just love the place and it's safe
