Visited this cinema on 09/07/2022. Absolutely loved the layout inside the individual cinema, the chairs are comfortable, have easily identified cup holders for each person and a table between seats to place popcorn or other snacks. We had to change out ticket time due to my friend having to fly home and the staff were extremely friendly and happy to assist us in getting this done smoothly and quickly. What can sometimes be an overwhelming or stressful situation was made extremely calm and easy due to wonderful staff members! Definitely recommend this location as an option if you’re looking for an intimate comfortable setting that won’t be too overwhelming. There are stairs to access the cinema, however it is accessible to those who cannot utilise stairs via a lift as well. They have also ensured that toilets are available on the cinema level and easily accessible to anyone who may need them.
I used to HATE this venue. I only came back because I heard an employee named Taylah was offering incredible service. Upon entering the venue I felt a warm gust calm my bones. A bright light appear in front of me. Taylah emerged from this light with an outstretched hand. I took a chance on love and took his hand. Taylah showed me what would have to be the most amazing night of my life. She served me popcorn, brought me to my seats and talked with me for hours after the movie. Thanks to Taylor I didn’t just enjoy Guardians of the galaxy vol.3, I was able to re-establish a relationship with my eldest son. Even though you may forget me, I will never forget you Taylor.
Don't understand why they decided to make *every single theatre* there to be VPremium ♀️. It's more expensive than the standard theatre & what am I paying for? Same size seat as in the standard theatre, but there's a table between the seats to place food . Why not have at least some standard theatres available for those who don't care about leather seats, & don't bring an entire meal to the movies? The only positive is that this cinema barely has people (either cos it's new or because it's more expensive), so if you're happy to spend extra & have the row to yourself on a Saturday night watching a popular movie - go to there .
Quite a frustrating experience to be honest. I tried making a booking using my telstra rewards and it has failed 3 times in a row. I got a system error after making the payment. The money however, was deducted from my bank account every single time. When I tried calling the listed number, it takes me through an automated voice system and lists all locations except for M-City. There is no customer service number listed anywhere so I can’t speak to anyone. I realise this complaint is not related to your outlet and rather an online issue but I have nowhere that I can share this experience or get any help.
I won't display what date nor time but Staff do need some cheering up entrance from the Rocco Amazing. Ordered Hot Food for delivery into the cinema yummmmy azzz... As per other reviews seats don't recline. I think the most annoying for me as a first timer was the stairs light, esp if you're sitting at the ends. Normally they are dimmed during the movie but they were bright azz (best sit in the middle) the most annoying part but HEY I've experienced it
Love the late movie session times they have, cinemas were clean and new. The seats are leather and comfortable (for those who are complaining about that the seats don’t recline, go to Gold Class if you want that!) Hoyts does have reclining seats at their standard cinemas but they don’t recline all the way back. All cinemas are VPremium which besides Gold Class are my favourite cinemas. Heaps of parking to be found. And I saw plenty of people bring in their own food which I love!
I admire the niche idea of having hot food in the cinema but I was a little disappointed at the selection of hot food. I assumed a bit more variety but the menu for hot food was short. The cinema is beautifully designed, comfy lounge chairs and there’s a small table and an arm rest for each chair. However, I think I’d stick with Hoyts in future. I still recommend you to try it at least once
First visit to Village Cinema at M-City Very comfortable seats in theatre. Plenty of space. Quite a few theatres in the complex. Not very busy when we went last night to see new Avator movie. Has a bar and restaurant . Also entertainment area. Downstairs lots of eateries, Supermarket and Kmart. Lots of parking underground. Will be going again for you sure, only twelve minutes by car from Chadstone .
10 min before the movie starts and 20 ppl in line for popcorn and only 1 person serving. 1 guy at the door doing absolutely nothing, didn’t even think to call anyone to assist until it was raised. When kindly asking for the manager was greeted with a young lady who rolled her eyes because she had to do work. Terrible service from village m city. Will opt for hoyts next time
Clean and overall well presented cinema! I've always had a pleasant experience here, and the staff are always so friendly. The only downfall, is the seating arrangements. The rows are awkwardly situated, and the arm rests leave a weird gap between you and the person next to you. Otherwise, an easily accessible and pleasant cinema experience.
Good place to watch a movie. however the chairs don't recline back so this would be in the category of a low budget cinema. Place is new, nice, clean and that's the pros. 5 stars if the chairs were better and not gapped in between. How am I meant to someone with that huge gap? Anyway...
Plenty of parking. Comfortable seats and air control. Massive screen and amazing sound quality. Love how they do flash back movies (they need to do Forest Gump and Terminator 2 lol). Always great service. Clean cinema and toilets. Would have rated 5 but they never have frozen coke.
A new cinema but on the smaller side. Service area is small. Don't know how they handle a crowd. We like the theatre seating, very comfortable. One other small point is that toilet facilities are distant from the theatres. So you have to sprint if you are busting!
Really nice, new, clean, spacious cinema with comfortable seating. The staff were also very friendly. ✨not overly crowded, was a great experience. I'm surprised that an escalator wasn't installed however alongside the staircase to get up to the cinema. …
The place is really new and clean. Recommend to experience. The only pity thing is that there is no counter to buy coming tickets. The ticket machine is only for the day. If you wanna book the tickets for coming day, you can buy online.
Very wide comfortable seating, well spaced and big screen and sound. All brand new and we will be going back to see future movies. Woolworths is downstairs as well if you don't want to pay outrageous theatre prices for your snacks.
A wonderful experience today with Dean helping out at candy bar and ticketing. He went above and beyond with great service and advice. Made our girls trip to see the Taylor movie all the more memorable for them. Thanks Dean!!!
Lovely place to go for movies for the whole family. My kids always enjoy the ambience and sound effects. Comfy seats with cup holder and elbow space. Very kind and pleasant staff at Mcity. Recommend for holidays and leisure.
Village M city is my partners favourite cinema to go to. Very clean, staff are lovely, wish there was a better selection at the candy bar. Updated cinema with enough room to move around. All in all a great cinema
I would give the staff there 10 stars if I could. Me and my daughter went to the wrong theatre (due to some Gift Card option confusion). But, they somehow organised to get us seats and we were able to see Barbie!
It is located on the top most floor and nicely renovated. The cinema had spacious leather chairs, which were quite comfortable even though they were not reclinable. The sound system was good. Will be back again.
I come here every week and I have never been disappointed. Clean and spacious; and If you love classic movies, keep on checking they always show them. Also, love their double features for various old movies.
A good theatre with immense and great atmosphere. The price of snacks are very expensive but still the quality of watching a flim in this cinema is worth to watch. Very well maintained theatre in Clayton.
Cinema was comfy with wide comfortable seats. Had a small side table & wide arm rest. Wished it reclined a little. The cinema is relatively small but it accommodates lesser viewers which was fantastic.
First time here with the family. All I can say is wow!! Great place to see a movie, staff are really friendly and cinema is clean. Came on a Sunday so no crowds to deal with. 100% recommend.
Cinema is good but very disappointed with there arrangements for parking as I went for movie and had to pay for parking ticket and when asked staff was told there are no arrangements for it.
Comfortable cinema, but should really hire more staff, literally saw someone stole few packs of maltesers at 12th Aug around 9:05pm even though there’s cctv watching.
Nice small theatres, new everything with spacious seats and tables inbetween so no elbow knocking! As a tall person with long legs n arms it's appreciated
The cinema is not in a big shopping centre as others but we find it clean and cosy. Seats are comfortable. Lots of car parking and easy to get to.
I loved the movie i watched, spiderman it was very luxirous and i was suprised that i was the only one their even though it was so nice!
Local cinemas for the Clayton area. Nice screens, comfortable chairs and very clean. A good experience!
Love the seating configuration - in pairs, wide, comfortable and comes with a nice little side table.
Excellent facility. Easy to park underground and don't need to head outside to enter the cinema.
Friendly staff. Spacious seating. Food and drinks selection is quite good.
Our favourite cinema…comfortable luxurious seats and usually not full
Cute little cinemas, comfortable seating, good temperature
Comfy seats, great staff, theatre not odourous
Very clean and comfy seats in vmax theatre 1.
Great seats. Really comfy. Easy parking too.
