"Village Cinemas plenty Valley very nice atmosphere I went Gold class and I found the staff to be very polite and helpful as this was the first time I’ve ever gone Gold class however I did find some of the desert that I had which was the tiramisu cake did not meet the price The alcoholic beverages I had very well mixed so the following I give the staff a 10 out of 10 gold class cinema 8 out of 10 because I find it needs a little bit of work done to it and where I was sitting the exit sign was distracting me and I find I will give the beverages a 10 out of 10 But the food I will only give a 6 out of 10 I think I would’ve preferred popcorn from the general counter"
Unfortunately our experience at gold class was disappointing. For starters, the prices for food is insane, but sure, you're paying for the experience. We ordered food and drinks to arrive at the start of the movie, and then for more to arrive about half way into the movie. It took a decent time for the first round of food to arrive (and when I pressed the buzzer to make sure they hadn't forgotten us, the staff member who came was irritable). The movie continues on and our second lot of food is yet to arrive, and then the movie finishes, yep, they forgot our food! When we were getting a refund, another customer also came to the bar and asked for a refund as they didn't receive some of the food. I totally understand we're only human and mistakes happen, but for the price you pay for the tickets, and then the price for food, it's a real let down and most likely the last time we'll go to gold class.
We come here on a weekly basis but this time we had the worse experience. It was Tuesday morning this week, there was a guy with curly hair was acting dumb when we asked him to make us a fresh popcorn (he was pretending he couldn’t hear us) the popcorn was very cold and hard to chew on. I mean we pay money to watch the film at least we could get a fresh and warm popcorn. Made us wait 20 mins while our movie had already started. When he gave us the popcorn, he slammed it at us and I saw him mixing the new one with the cold one and half were warm and the other half was cold as we were having it. This guy needs training in how to treat customers. Kindly request you guys not to give your regular customers cold popcorn it’s disgusting and a waste of money! Even the toilets are so dirty
My it's been a long time since I visited a cinema in these days of screening services. The seats were comfortable, the screen large, the sound not overwhelming and the voices clearly audible. I do however miss the days of Theatre curtains opening to reveal the screen highlighting the expectation for the movie to start...but this just shows my age so I won't go on. What did shock me though is the Candy Bar pricing which clearly demonstrates where cinemas generate a lot of revenue. I'm not the type to queue up for overpriced food so settled for just the movie without a choc top or popcorn in hand. A night at the movies appears to no longer be cheap family entertainment in this day and age.
Village Cinemas Plenty Valley is a brilliant modern cinema experience well designed to cater for the local community. If you have a child from 4-6 years old the Junior Cinema has games, dance floor and a cool slide inside the cinema!! The Max Cinema screen and sound quality is impressive and seats are great. The Gold Class is another beautifully designed space and high quality cinema experience. Lots of reasons to frequent a cinema again if you like movies but want a modern, innovative experience. As an added bonus they have decided to reduce food prices and expand the range of options to include hot food, kids food and alcoholic beverages....seriously impressed. Well done Village!
Village Cinemas plenty Valley very nice atmosphere I went Gold class and I found the staff to be very polite and helpful as this was the first time I’ve ever gone Gold class however I did find some of the desert that I had which was the tiramisu cake did not meet the price The alcoholic beverages I had very well mixed so the following I give the staff a 10 out of 10 gold class cinema 8 out of 10 because I find it needs a little bit of work done to it and where I was sitting the exit sign was distracting me and I find I will give the beverages a 10 out of 10 But the food I will only give a 6 out of 10 I think I would’ve preferred popcorn from the general counter
We booked two tickets for Gold Class and were throughly satisfied with the experience. From the get go, the staff were incredibly friendly and personable. The seats in the movie theatre were spacious and very comfortable. Food was also great and served in generous portions. We couldn’t finish everything so we were provided with boxes to take leftovers home. Only major letdown is the price of drinks — we paid $17.50 for two watered down cokes. Had we known about this exorbitant price, we would have brought our own drinks. Nevertheless, it was a nice once-in-a-blue-moon treat that felt a little fancier than your standard movie theatre experience.
One of the better cinemas I’ve visited in Melbourne. The place is clean and well maintained. The queues are short and the service agents are quick and helpful. I watched a movie in vmax and had a pleasant experience. The seats were wide and clean, the leg space ample and the sound system terrific. There’s are many halls but the system they have in place is efficient and ensures a positive experience fir everyone. I even liked the surroundings, there is natural beauty around the cinema and it’s lovely to walk out of the movie and into that environment.
This is a bad review in regards of today's experience with my 3yo daughter at the junior movie. I went at the cinema in a rainy day hoping to find a friendly environment where kids could be free of playing during the movie and not force to be sit at all time (which is impossible btw). I was wrong. There is a big slide the kids can use only during the interval for about 10 minutes. That's pretty much it. Don't be fooled by the pictures and save your 40 bucks (2 tickets price) for a much better experience like a play centre or something.
A very well maintained, and modern cinema. Fitted with the dolby atmos surround sound system, a massive screen and amazing seats. The crew and manager was very accomodating and helping with our tickets which we incorrectly booked on the wrong date. Would high recommend having the CC dry bucket, it was very refreshing and lovely to have during the movie. Overall 8/10 seats were good but were not recliners like they have for regular hoyts.
Do not waste your money on gold class. Rude staff. No one greeted us or served us. Had to go to the counter and take my order. They made me wait an 1 hour for water, ice cream and popcorn. I told them where’s the food I’ll be calling head office and after an hour it appeared in two seconds. The staff member threw the items at me. Cinema was freezing cold. Toilets are dirty and no toilet paper. Save your $50 for a better cinema elsewhere.
Unable to book gold class online with our gift vouchers. Emailed help support and asked for a call back to sort out the issue. Return email stated that as of several years back, we no longer talk directly to customers, so send us another email with your isuues!!! What a cop out.....useless business model for the customer but rakes in the $$$$ for the equity owners of Village....well done ✔️
Absolutely gorgeous cinema, with a very sleek and modern design, and clean toilets. Would easily earn 5 stars, if it weren't for the following: -Prices are on the steep side -Seemed like a particularly high number of advertisements before the film (around 20 minutes in total) -The dialogue in the film and trailers sounded a bit muffled; sometimes couldn't make out what people were saying
Paid $55.20 to take our two grandchildren to the cinema. Fair enough, if thats the cost. You do all the booking online, select the movie, the session time, the seats and pay with your credit card. You then get charged a booking fee of $6.00. I'd love to know what part of the booking, done entirely by the customer, justifies this fee. Another hidden cost to rip off the consumer.
Gold class was an absolutely amazing experience. The seats were in suede and they were so comfortable. There’s a good distance in between you, got your personal table and the menu was amazing and the food and the drinks were delicious. The service was outstanding. Cannot pick a fault I’ll be doing this experience again very enjoyable.
Decent cinema overall. It was clean and the staff were friendly. -------- I have come back to add another star because we went there to see a movie (having booked online) only to find out that we booked the wrong date. The gentleman who helped us was extremely helpful and patient. We were really impressed with his service.
The Gold class option was well worth it. The sound system is brilliant and the venue was clean and well well set out. The menu service offered beverages, sweets and savoury options. All are served by staff when you are ready. The location was great located above the new food court. Plenty of parking is available close by.
Sound in the VMAX cinemas is absolutely terrible. The dialogue in every movie sounds so muffled and like it's coming out of a broken speaker. Premium and Gold Class sound is pretty good but VMAX which is meant to be the best quality sounds awful which is very disappointing. Won't be returning until this issue is fixed.
Had tickets.. oh can't use because it's school holidays, can't get seniors because only showing in Gold class. So $24 per ticket. Went to reading in Epping $11 per ticket. I expect the movie at village played to an empty room. Be more customer friendly or you'll end up out of work if patrons go elsewhere....
No recliners like Hoyts, it’s more expensive too. Waited in line for 20 minutes only for the candy bar to tell me that upstairs scans my pre purchased tickets not them, once upstairs I asked where the 3D glasses are. Then instructed they are back at candy bar. One of many failings at this place. Go to Hoyts
Never understood the need to go to the candy bar to buy 3D glasses. They are already super busy arguing with their annoying customers over the flavour of their soft drinks while people like me waiting in the line for 15 minutes for my turn for a 5-second transaction while the movie has already started.
Amazing gold class experience, definitely the best in the area. Fantastic personalised service, from the door to your seat you are pampered. Great food and comfy seating. The view is also very good from any position in the Gold class cinema, off to the side or right in front is amazing.
Great to get back in the Plenty Valley cinema after ( would you believe 3:5yrs,last time Dec 2019 ) just b4 covid hit & locked the world down. Anyway went today 21/5/23 with good friend Adam for my 56th bday to see , FAST X!! LETS RACE ,PUNCH IT !! Love the movies and olty vlly VMAX !
Plenty Valley Village Cinema is a wonderful place to watch & enjoy a movie with your family, friends, partner or just on your own. Come along & enjoy your time away from home whether it be Gold Class, VMAX or just your normal Cinema. Plenty Valley has everything to cater for everyone.
Gold Class Plenty Valley. Expensive movie experience. Nice food great service but whew it’s expensive. It’s an intimate dining and cinema experience that is helped by the service and staff that are doing their best to treat you well with TLC. Oh the movies are ok too …
We’ve had many great experiences in Villages Plenty Valley. I & my husband appreciate the manager who solved our problem which I booked two gold class ticket s for the other branch as my mistake but he & the young staff helped us kindly & gave a big favour …
Sat into gold class, service was quick and the employees were friendly - greeted instantly. We didn't buy anything from the menu besides having popcorn! Seats were comfortable, we sat on the side as the middle section was booked out and it was great nonethless!
First time in this cinema. The services are good at the tickets counter and collect our popcorn drinks and icecream To improve this cinema better, you need to keep checking that everyone sitting on their seat was booking. Coz I wasn't
Went to see Mario Bros in gold class, had a great time and enjoyed the experience. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food came out at perfect times. Wedges were delicious, as were the veg spring rolls but they were a bit pricey for the amount you get.
Good Service, once you get to the head of the queue. No Recliner seating, however, the Cinema was cleaner than most. Village nears to learn lessons from Hoyts - prioritising service if you Book ahead & Recliner seating will improve the experience!
Went to gold class, and absolutely loved the experience! The staff were very kind and helpful. Food was so delicious and tasty, I highly recommend the salted caramel popcorn The seats were spacious and very comfortable as they reclined …
It was a Village cinema. Everything clean. For some reason the staff tonight were slow & didn't tell us that we needed to buy the 3d glasses before we went up to the cinema (yes, I had no idea) & we were already late so when we got up there
The events Junior was disappointing. In Sydney, there is an actual play area at the front of the screen where the kids could play before and during the movie. We were disappointed to find there was only a slide in the Plenty Valley branch.
The drive-in cinema is so fun! My partner and I absolutely love coming here. The first time that we came we accidentally let our car battery run flat but their helpful staff were able to quickly come and help us jump start our car. Now we
Had the most wonderful experience while watching Barbie with my kids! Such a clean cinema with amazing service from the staff and in particular a young lady by the name of Zainab who showed exceptional customer service and assisted me in
Went to gold class. No one to greet us. A girl was stacking fridges and we walk in and out 3 times before she stood up. The cinema was freezing, it felt like there was no heating on. Not really good enough when paying for gold class
Great seats. good selection of movies. Always kept clean. Dedicated kids area. Good website. Easy to use. Points system is on par with Hoyts. Only complaint is seats aren't reclining... But they're comfortable enough.
Teenagers having a social gathering throughout the entire movie ruined it for everyone. The staff are very young and no management around to assist. Ruined the movie, waste of money and unfortunately no consequences.
Favorite spot for movies. Specially village junior....quite good for kids, comfortable seats, sliding is really fun for kids at the starting n middle of the movie n other games options are good too.Clean toilets.
State of the art cinemas, with very comfortable chairs. The staff are friendly and professional, and it reflects on the experience I was given from the movies. Highly recommend for a good night out at the movies.
The screen isn't that great and the audio is extremely lacklustre for a "premium" experience, got a extremely sub par experience The seats domt even recline which is a standard feature at competitors these days
Spent over $100 on gold class food the other night with my wife. Some was cold some was scorching hot and very flavourless. We literally left it all and only ate the pop corn. Pretty horrible experience
Nice experience for kids movies. But regional indian ( Malayalam ) movies not showing here. Our malayalam language community is been very disappointed. Now we are going in sunshine to watch new movies.
Lost my ray ban glasses for like 1 minute went up to the the counter and I hope I spell the staff memebers name correctly, Lakita was very kind and generous and gave the glasses. Beautiful service
Amazing experience, the only downside I found is that they don't sell coffee there and if you are a first timer, you may not like that ad you have to go somewhere else looking for a coffee.
Screens look nice. No interval breaks provided even for a long lengthy movie which could run for 3 hours. Restrooms has touchless water taps and most of them were not functioning well.
Customer service needs really to improve, waited 15 minutes to order a coffee and waited another 20 minutes to receive my coffee . Not good enough when you'll paying for gold class
Decided to use our gold class vouchers here. Could not be more happy with the team and the lovely service. This really was a gold class experience to remember Thanks Milly and crew
Great experience, always love watching movies here. Always neat and tidy, great snacks and drinks range, plenty of viewing rooms and also love and recommend the rewards program.
Looks very modern set amongst the new dining and entertainment precinct . Top quality screens and sound system with Gold class , Vpremium and Vjunior for the children .
Went to gold class so we could order food and have it bought into us during the movie. They basically had run out of a most food. What they did have left wasn't to our
Westfield Plenty Valley Village is the best Cinema I've been to. I love it so nice and brand new. Please follow me on YouTube Channel will make a review Filipina Trys
When I went to another theatre, I understood and remembered how good these guys are. Village cinemas- your quality of sound screen etc fantastic.
Very quiet and cinema with not many seats as traditional cinemas. Yet all it takes is one open mouth chip eater to distract you from the movie
Ideally located at Westfield Plenty Valley's Entertainment Prescint, Village Cinemas offer a cinematic experience beyond compare.
Great place to hang with your mates I watched Jurassic World 3, super Mario bros, and the latest Spider-Man movie would recommend
Vmax is perfect and prices are alitte high but thats alright. Gold class definitely not worth and the food there is not great.
The staff were excellent. The theatre was fantastic. I find the whole experience was amazing, relaxing, and indeed gold class.
1/2 hour of ads from the time the picture was supposed to start was a bit too much. The seats are in serious need of repair.
Spacious, kids friendly. Clean and facilities available for disabled guests. Great experience and atmosphere.
It's decent but the seats need to be improved, unlike hoyts village cinema only has normal seats
Got food poisoning from the gold class dips board, avoid for the sake of your health
Love this place amazing set up very clean seating amazing staff in Gold class area..
Easy to get tickets and food. Staff very friendly and helpful. Enjoyable experience
Had a Gold Class viewing. Food and wine was delicious, wonderful service.
Great location, closer to food court, Train Station and Car park !!!
Fantastic experience at the Gold Class cinemas. Highly recommended
Lovely modern village gold class..enjoyed my time there …
Loved watching movie here. Loved the sound system
