At 8:40pm today, I purchased a number of gift cards and paid with my credit card, then asked for a receipt and the employee began becoming very agitated and upset that he had to go in the back and get them. He kept demanding that I should have told him before I paid that I needed a receipt. He said that he can’t provide the receipt and was expecting me to leave. I explained that it was a business transaction, so I needed a tax invoice, which made him get even more upset and he said that he had to go to the office and have them printed, as a deferent for me to wait. People started to enter the store so he said that he needed to deal with those customers first and I would have to wait until the store was empty. I waited patiently at the front counter and did not say anything. I didn’t argue with him, or complain. After nearly 10 minutes, I asked him how long my receipts would be, (between customers) as he was standing behind the counter pretending to ignore me as if I wasn’t there and snapped at me when I asked, and said that he doesn’t normally sell gift cards (as if that’s my fault?), and I should have paid with cash. I tried to say there’s no sign to say that, but he immediately interrupted me saying that next time he will not sell me any gift cards. After another five minutes of serving customers, he went into the back to print the receipts, and when he handed them to me, he said that I should have told him at the beginning that I needed the receipts. I explain to him that nothing in this situation was my fault and I have every right to ask for a tax invoice. He interrupted before I could finish the sentence and raised his voice and said that I should have “known better”. He then proceeded to say that he knows me, and my family, and said he wouldn’t serve me if I came back. After taking all that, I finally snapped. I yelled and said I will never come back to the store and I asked him for his name, which he refused. I took my phone out to take a photo and that upset him even more and said if I take his photo, he will call the police. As I was leaving, he said he knows what my wife and my kids look like, so I turned around and yelled the question “is that a threat?” to which he said no, but continue to yell at me as I walked away. I’m sure that all of this would’ve been captured on the video footage in the store, so I emailed this complaint to the 7-11 customer service team. I have been going to this 7-11 store for the last 10+ years, and this particular staff member has never said more than two words to me in the past, so I don’t know what caused him to explode today, but it was very uncomfortable situation which escalated severely. I did not provoke him and he was aggressive from the first moment I asked for a receipt. This type of behaviour is unacceptable.

By far the worst customer service. Staff member Eshwar was very rude and abrupt in his approach, he claimed to be second in charge but yet displayed very minimal knowledge on how the system operates, very incompetent in resolving the issue and has zero people skills. I will never visit this store ever again or any other seven eleven store as a matter of fact as a result of this pathetic customer service experience, zero out of 10. I had to contact the customer service support team myself while I was in store in order to report his rude behaviour and have my issue resolved, I also filed a offical complaint with Penny from the support team. I would recommend that management/ head office constantly check the in-store surveillance cameras in order to see how some staff poorly / rudely interact with customers in order to improve moving forward.

No wonder people are abusing the staff and also India. Being an Indian, I am ashamed by the behaviour in this store…I think the name of the guy was kishore. Do not know anything and talks rudely. He just bluffs something when he doesnt know. When he saw the gift card which he recharged aint working, He bluffed that it will take 24 hrs to activate gift card which proved that he doesnt know anything about it. I have been using gift cards for ages mate. Please either train your staff or get some one else. This fuel station wont make it far otherwise, mark my words. Money and profit aint everything mate.I have escalated complaint with 7 11 directly. They said they will take action immediately.

I went to the store and used the self-serve smoothie machine. After using it, the cup was half full and spilt all over it. When I called the worker over, she denied there was anything wrong with it and, touched my cup, when I am a germaphobe, and dumped the liquid recklessly into another cup. This is disgusting service and instead of me getting refunded, she made me pay for the drink and accused me of touching in the machine. How can you touch the machine with the literal leads spinning it around? Will never be going back there again.

Worse service ever. I went to top up my myki card yesterday , the person at the counter hopes up my myki card but didn't tell me the card is expiring the next day. Then I went today, a person called Siva was at the counter was very rude. All he had to say was it's not me , it's different staff member I can't do anything. So disappointing and frustrating with their service.

Worst customer service ever have in my life. I locked up the fuel and he calim there is no discount. He is absolutely not good. I am not recommended to visit it again. I will never used again ever. Completely shocking person.

Gotta love 7/11! My local at Ashgrove always has the most extortionate prices for fuel ⛽️ but the friendliest chaps behind the counter. Thank god for the fuel lock, saving me almost $0.55/L at times for 98 octane or diesel.

Went there to get something to eat asked the customer service guy why I don’t see anything in the hot stuff it’s 5:00am he goes I will put the hot stuff in at 5:30am I don’t know why can’t he just fill it up
