The click and collect staff were rude and did not comply with their own T&C's. We ordered a product to be collected and unfortunately I could no longer collect it. I asked my partner to grab it from the store and looked up what needed to be done so that he could collect it. The T&C's stated we needed to send an email to BigW and have a copy of said email provided to the staff upon collection. When my partner did this the lady was abrupt and rude to him and insisted that she called me to check. When she called I confirmed my partner would be collecting the item to which she told me next time I needed to fill out the correct persons details or ring the store. I said no worries we just were doing what the T&C's stated we needed to do to which she told me that they do not get the emails and this is no longer the procedure. After all of this my partner then got stopped upon exiting and was made to hold this heavy item for a long period of time whilst they tried to figure out if he was stealing the item. Once they realised he was not stealing it they offered a trolley to him. Very unprofessional and rude.

Really disgusting 'customer service' experience today. Served by a old lady at the returns/click & collect section. She basically scolded us because she thought we'd intentionally used the incorrect card for a return purchase. She ended the interaction very abruptly by saying "well I don't know where that's gone" and turned her back on us only to then talk about us to her co-worker. We were completely taken aback. We felt like we'd done something wrong when we hadn't, which I tried to tell her - calmly, I'll add - sadly, instead of listening she spoke over me trying to correct me and then walked off...? I imagine this lady hates her job... but why is that someone else's problem?

Great shopping experience today from start to finish. Service was first class in every way. The doorway greeter saw me looking puzzled at the entry+ directed me towards the right end of store. Staff approached me to see if I needed help+ when the shelf was bare (sold out) he got what I needed from out the back ( just delivered he said). At the checkout the staff member saw I probably needed a trolley due2 the size/dimensions of the item (or longer arms)+ a trolley appeared. 4 excellent retail staff- thankyou! Am very happy with the dog crate+ comfy bedding purchased at very good prices. Fur baby is not sure if he likes it though. I will be back.

I am very impressed by Jen professional service, personal approach, her will to help and patience with me. During my shopping, one of the items I shop for was not available on the shelf (cosmetics). Jen offered to call me, when she find it in the storage room, and she did as she promise. I am impressed and grateful. Hovewer, she was not alone. Don't ever buy balloons here got sold a faulty one took it back they said yeah it happens sometimes youl just have to buy another one which is already terrible in itself but.... they were out of stock of that letter in my colour so now my colours were gonna be outta wack so I wanted to return them all and change colour theme but they wouldn't let me return the others cause they wernt faulty. So I can have 1 colour wrong in my line up or I can spend another $280 to rebuy in a matching colour customer service zero spotlight next time and every other time!

Very busy for Black Friday sale, but staff seemed to handle the rush well. New review. It's a bit annoying, that so often I go into Big W, and they have moved a few things around, it is probably for a good reason, but never the less, quite annoying. Still moving things around, but don't like the fact that there is only one cashier to check out, if you don't like the non personal self check out. Especially difficult for older customers, some of whom prefer to be served, rather that the technology of self help. Still like Big W Karingal though.....

This is unfortunate, but I did have a bad customer experience returning a faulty PS5 with the team at Karingal. Firstly, didn't seem that they wanted to help me and then really didn't know what to do with my repair/exchange. When I left the details to call me back when the store manager returned having the weekend off, I never got an email that was promised. Sony have been way better in terms of service and rectifying the issue for me. Sorry team but you need to follow up on these things when you say you would, not overly difficult.

Placed an order today for click & collect between 4-5pm. Got there 4:15 and waited for a text to tell me when the order was ready for pick up. Didn't get one by 5pm so I went and enquired, got told they were an hour behind and if I wanted to wait it may take 20 mins to an hour. So 6pm at the latest if not come back tomorrow and it should be ready by then. Decided to wait and still nothing...... so frustrating. Why offer a service if you can't deliver as promised.

The lady at the return area could loose her attitude. Asked to swap some pants had the receipt on my phone but didn’t have the barcode (which was easy to quickly get). She walked off while I was waiting for the barcode which was less than 2 minutes. She never came back and just walked off. We don’t need the eye roll and the attitude love. It’s either time to retire or time to get an attitude adjustment. Just because you’re old doesn’t mean you get to be rude. Ty.

Won’t be ever going back to big w I ordered a cubby house the box was open and had black mould all over and then I ordered a nerf gun and it was broken. And my son was let down. And then when I took it back they refunded me the money when i asked for store credit and they said they can’t but the lady next to me got store credit and got it straight away I think that’s unfair. Once again won’t be going back..

Came for a click and collect as was not available in my area. Nice clean store, easy access. The lady at the front was very helpful leading me where to go. There was not a single trolley though and when I asked I was told that's because the trolley collector person had not started work yet. This was at 9.30am. So if you are heading in early and see a trolley in the car park, grab it on your way in!

Being a bachelor I realised I have no idea how to buy bedding , I got pretty much everything wrong in pillow cases, returned them after 3 months of having a kidney stone and not able to drive , I arrived with the wrong receipt , the lad with the mohawk at your service desk was absolutely brilliant , tracked down my purchase and did everything possible to help me out. Exceptional service.

I wanted to use afterpay yesterday for the first time, and was served by a lady named Renee. Stupid me had not set it up properly on my phone. Hard to find help when you need it And it shows that it's a discount department store. They need to smile more and keep an eye on their prices tickets... I found 4 which were out of date!! And from the goodness of my heart I took them down so it is 4 less items where customers argue but I get it for free but they don't at big w as it isn't a supermarket

Asked for help with a maternity bra to find out what suited best, she walked me to the isle but couldn't answer my questions I asked if someone could please explain sizing and she said no there was no one to help with my enquiry and she didn't help, if you have someone working with clothes they should know what there selling

Click and collect was super easy, the team were amazingly awesome and went above and beyond for me. I would recommend over any other company. I understand completely the delay and availability issues, and I appreciate the time and effort the team put in. Anything I want, they have options. My go-to for what I want.

Had an unusual problem with my phone I purchased from big W. Service staff went above and beyond too rectify my problem and offering me an exchange for a new one. So happy they were able to help me and Understand my issues and fixing the situation so I didn't end up without a working phone.

Be wary of the fake security o the door they threaten you if you don't show them dockets of items they don't even sell. Absolutely ridiculous behaviour. Stop me and see what happens. Lawyers are waiting for the call. Education of your staff is required, including Tim the manager.

Garden area has been closed down, substance addicted folks were openly shoplifting and eating food from the shelves, no sizes in women's swimwear or footwear. Might have told the staff if they weren't so rude and incompetent on previous visits where they refused to help me.

Staff here are always friendly. From the greeter at the door, who is always open and happy to give directions when needed, to the checkout staff and even the security guard. I love shopping here, because it's clean, and family friendly, not to mention great value for money.

Severely understocked in many sections at the moment, such as the cables and adapters shelf in the electronics section, for example. Such arrogance from a corporate parasite that has been a major contributor to the suffocation of many local small businesses over the years.

I would not bother using click and collect. Ordered something, when we tried to collect they couldn't find the order, then told out of stock and they cancelled the order and refunded. It is now late Sunday afternoon and competitors are closed.... complete waste of time

Great place to go to if you want to buy a big brand at a lower price or if you want to buy cleaning products in bulk and not go to Costco and paid membership fee and you can still do it at BIG W and still pay cheaper price which is great if you want to save money

Big W Karingal had a good range of different things to buy for Christmas. unfortunately every shop is expensive now. But Big W had some really good bargains on sale which was really good.
