On the hunt for the perfect bread to make croutons (I was on a mission from God, to make the perfect Ceasar Salad), I stopped by one of my favourite Bakers Delights. Greeted warmly by the young ladies working, they had a great selection of breads and treats. I honestly had no idea what would work the best for the croutons, so of course, had to ask the experts! Had a chat to the team member serving me, and she offered me several options on my crouton hunt. Options from the cheapest to the boujee breads, I chose something in the middle after being told it was great toasted, and dipped in soup (Who doesn't love soup). Asked if there was anything else I wanted, how could I turn down a beautiful mud choc scone! Satisfied with my two purchases, several coins lighter now, off I went home. Had the scone yesterday with coffee, perfect as always. Make crispy croutons for the salad (And yes, it turned out amazing, thanks for asking). Today, having a couple of thick slices of fresh bread, slathered with lightly salted butter, dipped in home made soup. As usual, great suggestions, lovely staff, quality goods and an all around great experience.
Very disappointing was there a couple of days ago sign up to bakers delight spent over $10. Told me I don't get till the free bread till next purchase,a different lady from upper Ferntree gully told me all I had to was spend $5 on a purchase so next trip i personally brought sutff over $10 to get the free loft of bread which I ask before I brought she explain to me mine i told her I half deaf and she talk super fast and couldn't understand her not caring I was half deaf. She didn't even explain properly to me brought the food and ask for my bread she told me i couldn't get till next purchase , if I wasn't hungry I wont of retun the food and said don't worry about as this is ridiculous spending over $20 to get a loft breed for free , wont spending another $5 for a free loft breed have spent closed to $20 for a $5:50 free loft of breed trust aren't free anymore ridiculous. Worse experience I have had with people, the younger generation really dont care if you have disability or not.
Very surprised to read some of the reviews and see only 4.2 stars. I've bought from a Bakers Delight almost daily for 12 years and this is the most professional store by far. I drive past my unreliable local BD to buy from Boronia. No surprise the owner works in the store (although that alone is no guarantee). They also bake a few items I can't find anywhere else, like; Coffee and Date Rolls, Apricot Delight Rolls, and Fruit and Chia Buns (although no chia seeds anymore thanks to head office :( The quality can vary on those rolls/buns on some days...but that's the case with all BD stores I visit.
Emma is the worst employee I've ever met. Rude and not a good look for the bakery. I hope Bakers delight reconsiders her position here. Absolutely appalling!

Friendly staff, always have a smile. Food is great, but sometimes they haven't had what I've wanted. But wouldn't stop me going back.
If you guys close at 7:30 you should actually tell people. Terrible service.

Sorry for the low score guys. Nice service, just bread tastes fresh one day, and dry the next. Inconsistent quality, nice service.
Friendly helpful staff. Pretty good bread. A few more top quality specialist options would be good for all bakers delight shops.
Staff were happy but very slow at their job. Good products and easy to find shop. Lots of parking but can get busy at times
The bread is always tops,so much better than the supermarket but sometimes it's hard to find the dates in a date scone.
Super nice staff and helpful when making a selection based on what you plan to eat the loafs with.
They closed before their closing time and wouldnt allow us to buy any bread.

New owners not doing as well as previous people. Bread not being baked properly.
