The most terrible attitudes I have ever seen. Few months back I came to Bigw Melton to have a look if they have what I've looking for and walk out without buying anything. A lady with yellow hairs at the gate demand me to let her check, she poured everything in my bag out included vegies, fruits, personal items, and some other bags I've purschased from other stores. Not stop in that, she demanded me to lift the baby out of trolly and flip up the mattress to check underneat REALLY??? Then watch me put everything back again BY MYSELF Without any appologies ? Or thank you A baby and a mother in tears right in front of the store.... Couple days ago I visited the store again to bought some toys. Since I grabbed to much and decided to put some back as I thought I dont need that much and the guy filling stocks at the back ( dark short hair, brown skin) saw what I did and run to the front whisper with a member at the gate that I'm stealing or something and I got stopped for checking again with same attitude with last time. Also new items arrived staffs allow to have first pick ??? Thats why I barely found what I'm looking for. Then you should just serve your workers and your employees as customers mean nothing to you

I had a disappointing experience at Big W Melton on November 16, 2023, which prompts me to share my feedback. I visited the store to exchange a baby walker, presenting a valid receipt. However, the customer service representative, SAM, at the counter, refused the exchange, alleging that the box had sticky tape and implying tampering. Despite explaining that the box was already taped when received, SAM insisted I had opened and retaped it. To resolve the issue, I had to walk to an aisle, retrieve a new walker, and show it to them demonstrating that this is how the walker is originally packaged. Although another staff member suggested I couldn't get a refund or credit note, I could purchase something of equal value on the same day. While I accepted this compromise, the overall experience was disappointing. Accusations of tampering without a thorough investigation are disheartening. I hope this feedback prompts a review of customer service practices at the Melton branch to ensure a more customer-friendly approach in the future.

Denied a refund on a faulty product because I was told the product does what it’s meant to do so it’s considered change of mind. Only to contact customer service and be told they do 90 day returns on change of mind. I had to do 2 trips and in total spent 2 hours of my time due to someone just not wanting to give me a refund. Disappointed that the staff at melton can’t follow what your company policy in regards to refunds are. I was given the run around for no apparent reason other then they just didn’t want to give me a refund. My product was faulty, and was returned. Absolutely not a change of mind but even if it was I was still entitled under your policy.

I normally don't write reviews but this time I had too... whoever was working at 6.30 pm at the service desk today was the worst employee I have ever come across! First of all she was showing attitude when my partner approached her to ask her a question about a product. Instead of just having a look on the system or helping, she rudely answered "no cant help" and then walked off with her hoodie up over her head... totally disappointed with the people being hired to manage the service desk at big W. She definately needs to be fired for her really bad customer service.

This store is well-sized, brightly-lit and is pretty open. The store range and prices are typical Big W, so quite wide and reasonably cheap. The stocking levels are decent at this store. It also has a party section, which only the bigger outer suburb Big W stores tend to have. The customer service was pretty good in my experience, although of course, YMMV depending on the staff member. Overall, this store is okay.

Really poor attitude from the staff, not helpful at all when I received a package from them and it was wrong, was basically told there was nothing they could do. I don’t want to go into the details of everything but I needed a particular dummy for my son and they sent me the wrong ones.. he will not take these but I guess that’s my issue.. wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world if this team gained some empathy.

The products are always out of stock, and the online system sucks. It shows there are stock on the website but when I put that item in the shopping cart and ready to checkout, it shows me that there’s no more stock. Even though I have refreshed the page many times, it’s the same. Please improve your online shopping system. It’s been always like this, really wasted my time.

I wish I caught the name of the lady that works the service click and collect desk but I missed it. She was amazing. Had my click and collect order ready in 20 minutes after I submitted and she greeted me with the biggest smile. Left a lasting impression and will be going back there again for my future click and collect orders.

Really disappointed to have come to Woodgrove specifically to visit 2 shops, one being BigW and to have not been allowed in at 3.45pm, a full 15 minutes before closing, especially given I was there for 1 very specific item. At my business we would NEVER refuse a customer in this way.

Attended Camera counter lFriday 2/3/22 at 8.20 pm was going to buy a canon camera $559, until I was told that they could not take it out of the box to look at, female was quite rude speaking with her back to me.Very poor customer service . GO TO JB Hi Fi Best customer service ever.

Staff at layby are very friendly and always happy to to help you, as are the staff at the self serve machine's, and the variety of stock is great, from electronics to clothing toys for kids books CDs, DVDs, mobile phones even photo booths to print your own photos from your devices,

It's pretty good, some of the staff are amazing. Usually cheap prices and an ok range of goods. They have a large Harry Potter clothing section for any enthusiasts out there. The staff on self-serve could do with being more helpful. Overall a nice experience.

This is the 4th time I've had to wait over 45mins for drive click and collect!!!! Keep calling and calling, no answer. Ring the bell, no answer! Most times I have my little one with me waiting for so long! Not good enough! Seriously get your act together!

The lady told me they were too busy to blow a Ballon for my daughter. My daughter loves balloons . What an anti kid customer service. They made my daughter cry. Like seriously how hard it is to blow one balloon. It's not a mining job or heavy lifting.

Had one of the nicest visits, found what l was looking for but it was the customer service l had at check out point that was a highlight. The young girl who served me was lovely. We had a conversation and both had a laugh. Made the trip in wonderful

Neat and tidy Big w in wood Grove shopping center, lot of product range and mostly stocked. Good customer service. Some time they have the online system issue as it shown as in stock but couldn't find in store or they don't restock it.

It has almost everything you need or want. Yes, quite big one as in any other Big W locations. However, I feel there is always a shortage of staffs. I always struggle to find someone when I need any help with the products.

Operation hour shown in google until 7pm, we arrived at 6:15, shop closed with signboard Monday - Wednesday until 6pm. Why is such a big company like yours making this low class mistake and cause us a big inconvenient!

Not many employees to help if you need assistance, I go to a manned register all the time but not all are courteous and the young ones like in other shops I have visited need a lesson in folding clothes.
