"Brioche by Philip in Southland Shopping Centre in my opinion has a lot of room for improvement, the Coffee is nice but the food isn't the greatest, I tried the Croque Monsieur as it is one of my absolute favourite kind of Toasty that there is, unfortunately I couldn't even call it a Croque Monsieur as it missed a vital ingredient"
"Tried for first time (even though walked past it 100 times) and got takeaway soy latte and mince pie for me and for husband, apple danish"
"I ordered a large matcha latte for takeaway, not only was the actual latte completely bitter but I was shocked by the size of the large! I thought they made me a small but no! Indeed that was their large! I am aware that Matcha is typically bitter however, you do need sugar to counteract that bitterness:( if they offered sugar I would of asked for it but they didn’t :( Either way, not worth your time or money and all I wanted was something to wake me up"
"Good variety of pastries but the team looks a little lost on the service"
"Wonderful staff, outstanding pastries and the aroma of freshly baked croissants are what make Brioche By Phillip"
Brioche by Philip in Southland Shopping Centre in my opinion has a lot of room for improvement, the Coffee is nice but the food isn't the greatest, I tried the Croque Monsieur as it is one of my absolute favourite kind of Toasty that there is, unfortunately I couldn't even call it a Croque Monsieur as it missed a vital ingredient.. a Croque Monsieur should have a layer of bechamel and Cheese on the top outside, unfortunately it only had Cheese, it was rather underwhelming and disappointing as I was really looking forward to enjoying a real Croque Monsieur, the Avocado and Fetta Toasty was also not the best, I'm trying not to be too picky but I have to be honest, this experience didn't make me want to come back at all, the staff were very friendly, I Recommend Brioche by Philip if you want a Coffee and maybe a Pastry. ☕️
Tried for first time (even though walked past it 100 times) and got takeaway soy latte and mince pie for me and for husband, apple danish. Coffee and mince pie good. They have a nice looking range of sweet treats (but resisted the lure of the donut) and breakfast options. Ample seating in this corner spot. 4.12 husband and I had coffees (flat white and soy latte) and toasted sandwiches, avocado and feta on wholegrain for me and ham and cheese on wholemeal for him and they were delicious! The wholegrain bread was really good. Glad we tried it.

Good variety of pastries but the team looks a little lost on the service. Great attitude and courteous but you could notice that staff didn't know what to do next, some customers didn't received their order correctly and a coffee end up sitting on an empty table for 10 minutes until somebody came to retrieve. With a good training this store will hit great scores.
Wonderful staff, outstanding pastries and the aroma of freshly baked croissants are what make Brioche By Phillip. One of the staff, Coco, makes the best coffee I've ever had and has only gotten closer to mastering her craft ever since I started going there. The staff particularly the younger ones seem to love their job and it shows.
I love the coffee here it is excellent . But I like to come here at 8am, but they are never open on time . If the staff needs half an hour to get the shop ready they should arrive here earlier. Otherwise do not advertise opening hours that aren't kept.
Had a bad experience here today. Ordered iced matcha latte. The person taking the order didn't ask if we wanted any sugar. When we got the drinks, they were sickly sweet. When we asked them they said the mix comes with sugar. I am a big fan
Absolutely HORRIBLE service. Asked for a tuna melt + regular coffee which was $11.70 and got overcharged $13. Girl who took my order also took down wrong toastie and was given an avocado toastie instead of my tuna melt. My wife had also
Waited 20+ minutes for a basic toastie… other toastie orders were handed out before mine, looked like they must have forgot to put it on and no apology was given. Quiet disappointed and when I went to eat it, it was barely toasted.
Was told by attendant that the croissants were today’s, however, they tasted stale. Was she told by this morning’s delivery person that they were fresh? Regardless, at $5 each I expect freshly baked croissants. Disappointed!
What a wonderful find this place is! Freshly baked bread and coffee that's so delicious I'll be back for more and the pastries looked really enticing my next visit will be to sample one or two! Lol
It doesn't matter how many times you ask for their croissants and toasties to come out well toasted/heated they will always come out cold.

Called Brioche. Lots of lovely carb treats. But alas! Not for me. No gluten free. Coffee. Safely lukewarm. Not so good. Not a good quality bean. Adieu Brioche.
Bought a white chocolate bronut. Nothing special, but $5.5 each is quite expensive as a donut. As to the service, just normal not very impressive.
Loved the caffeine and the temperature.....just right for my taste. Keen to try their bakery products, might visit their CBD outlet.
$6 for a donut? Give me a break, talk about GREEDFLATION. Walkers donuts 5 meters away have a wider variety for $4+something.
Finally had a chance to try their freshly baked croissants, super buttery and flaky, my family love it! Great coffee too
Best coffee at southland! Love their raisin toast. Awesome customer service, very friendly and passionated staff
The coffees are really nice and the sandwiches is very tasty.Staffs are very friendly. Absolutely love it!
Great little place. Friendly staff and a decadent ham and cheese toastie. Gold standard for mall cafe's.
Bake goods are always fresh and tasty. They also have the best coffee in the shopping centre!!
I eat th e re and give them 5 stars. Another 5 stars because they are right. ( in southland )
Still good as it was over a year ago makes a decent coffee love their sandwiches
Consistently the worst toasties I’ve ever had
