Usually I have a very nice experience when buying coffee / pastries from Bromley’s, however today was quite unprofessional. A very young trashy type of female served me. Apparently her name is Ainsley….as stated by another staff member. When trying to assist her with getting the correct amount of change from the $100 note I gave her, she became quite angry, realising her mistake, she aggressively dumped the remaining money owed into my hand. Another staff member then told her she should brush up on her maths. Most unprofessional behaviour to myself, the customer in a shop full of people waiting to be served. The level of maturity is definitely lacking at Bromley’s, tables are left filthy with rubbish on them, and a huge lack of experience with customer service. I won’t waste my money or time here again.
Yes very good, highly recommend. Sat and had pesto, bocconcini and tomato toasted sandwich and decaf soy latte while husband had beef and lamb sausage roll. All delicious. Also brought to takeaway a piece of vegetarian frittata, savoury scone, fruit roll and a pretzel shaped olive and feta pull apart. Actually there was so much to choose from I had trouble deciding! Seating inside and a few cute little tables outside. 15.9 literally walking past so couldn't resist popping in and brought jam.donut for me and blueberry danish for husband.
Wow, what a gem of a bakery! Some of the best breads & pastries I’ve ever eaten. My favourites so far: four cheese bread, cinnamon cruffins (recommend pulling them apart and dipping them in your coffee!), choc hazelnut muffins (holy wow). I can’t wait to ‘research’ the menu further. Only item I didn’t love was the savoury muffin. Very, very dry, and underwhelming flavour. Butter couldn’t even save it. This place still deserves five stars. Coffee is pretty great too, and the shop looks lovely.
Spent a month in Germany not long ago and have been looking for German bretzels all over Melbourne ever since I got back. Accidentally stumbled across Bromley's in Cheltenham and can say with confidence that it is the most authentic German bretzel I have found in Melbourne. Only flaw is that they only have them on Saturdays. Their other pastries and coffees are great too, and staff is lovely. Thank you Bromley's Bread!!❤️
What can I say…service with a smile, great coffee (the staff actually know how to make a good coffee), the best sourdough and very tasty food…I’m here at least 4 times a week. Make sure you try a Danish…brilliant!

Bromley's a nice place to chill and have a good cuppa coffee especially on a Sunny Sunday morning. My wife's favourite is the Chocolate Hazelnut Croissant and we often go for that. Coffee is good too, Stella the Barista makes good coffee, KUDOS. We had the croissant, pastries and bread and it's a place to recommend. On an overall, my honest score will be 4.0/5.0
I am trying to think of an experience at Bromley's that has been unfavorable......hmmmm.......still thinking Nope, I can only think of favorable experiences. The staff can sometimes be young and lack the polish experience brings. The baked treats make up for this slight floor. Yummy yummy! Why not give it a try next time you are near by.
Reasonably good bread, a decent range on offer, welcoming service however the bread is circa 20% more expensive than any other artisan bakery in the area, and there's at least 5-7 others in a 5km radius...I bought a loaf of white sour dough bread, it was $9, almost $1 per slice!

Recently discovered this place and overall, we're impressed. We like the mixed berry custard danish in particular. Their flourless chocolate and cheese cakes are pretty delicious too (& reasonably priced). Their sourdoughs are a little more chewy than others, but I actually like it this way.
The most delicious and tasty bread and pastries in the area...Especially the fruit loaf. Totally obsessed, friendly service everytime. Family owned business.. So many delights to choose from. We shared the pear puff pastry & banana honey puff pastry, every bite is blissful..
I ordered a last minute whole chocolate birthday cake.Jenny and team were so easy to deal with and accommodated to needs on top of the cake. Definitely recommend for whole cakes and other scrumptious pastries including the pear and almond tart which was just amazing.
Absolutely recommended from a European native! Got a couple croissants and a loaf of the rye and walnut bread, both were incredibly fragrant and fresh. Pricing is in line with quality. Thank you Bromley's for making my morning sweeter!
I recently bought some mince pies! Wow! They were the best mince pies I have ever had!

Just visited this morning and was served by the lovely Kayla. What a smile to match the chocolate croissant. That woman deserves a raise! Cant wait to bring my friends along as well next time.
Excellent! Lively bakery and café, the bread and pastries really stand out and look absolutely delicious. We sat for a great dirty Chai and cake, will come again!
An amazing little bakery - I've stopped there a few times before going on walks - super super good cakes and pastries for a wonderful morning sugar high!
Favourite bakery, especially if you want high end. A little pricey but quality is the best around.

The sourdough was amazing with some poached eggs. Thanks for coming down to Healthmont, can’t wait for next market day to buy more.
Fantastic variety of sourdough & bread- great coffee & the best chocolate croissant. Really friendly staff too …
