Wouldn’t recommend going to them, they are more focused on servicing their designers than a normal customer. The designers have consistent big orders with them, compared to our $4000 bedroom set wasn’t enough for them to help us and have the some flexibility. This was Said by the floor manager on the phone. We were requesting if possible as worst case to hold the items for an extra month or 2 as they currently can hold it for 3 months and they said no. Which I mentioned it may even be within the 3 months that we will need it. Most places are willing to hold it for up to 6 months with no additional costs. They want to charge $40 per item per week on a bedroom set up which would cost another $200 per week as it has a few different items. They suck you with the sale but find a way to make their money later. Also to mention don’t go to Bassam, very rude and worst customer service I have seen. Floor manager was okay but they just spin a made up story, we spoke to them earlier in the week and guaranteed us they could hold it for 5 months with no additional cost but later in the week when we came to put the order they changed their mind and didn’t Honor that. Save your time and save the headache go elsewhere.

DODGY Business alert No service after they have taken your money. We ordered a dining table on 8 Nov 20 with promises of delivery within days. After numerous attempts, confusion with the delivery, system issues and any other excuse you can think of we finally received our furniture yesterday 15 Dec 20. Delivered by a sub sub contractor who obviously called us 30 min before coming - luckily we were home at that time. He left all the boxes in a hurry with promise to return later in the day and assemble - he wasn't aware he had to assemble. As expected no one came, called or provided updates. We called the shop and no answer and then the driver who advised to fix it first thing tomorrow morning. Again no one showed up and no communication. We will give it a go and assemble this ourselves obviously and waste another day (I had to take a day off for previous delivery date that was never met) because of this dodgy business. Reading other reviews now I also don't have high hopes this product will last long. Here is a tip to the business - don't give up on your customer service once customers have paid. Train your drivers, improve you delivery system and most importantly try being honest once in a while.

Absolutely shocking products DO NOT BUY FROM DOES NOT LAST. I bought a dining setting, including 8 leather chairs which cost me RRP $1992.00 just for the chairs, last night my 12 year old son was sitting on the chair and it collapsed. I purchased this set 6 years ago, however, if you spent this type of money on leather chairs you would not expect it to break especially with a child sitting on it. Also another chair's padding has deteriorated. Spoke to Patrick in customer service, and said chairs only come with 1 year warranty, advised that I will be taking this to Fair Trading. I am proud of my home and it is only me and my son, and I would EXPECT for products to last longer. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THIS STORE! I also rang the supplier who referred me back to Bydezign. NOT ACCEPTABLE! The photo's show the damage to the chairs and the way my home is kept. NOT HAPPY!

I'm in Far North Queensland. I've ordered received, received and loved every piece of furniture I've bought from By Dezign. We have had fantastic service from this company. The quality is of the furniture is excellent. Not able to actually touch and see the furniture we relied heavily upon the staff nd the Web site information. The staff have been very informative and supportive acting as my eyes and hands. I own the Beethoven: - lamp table, two seater leather lounge suite, dresser with mirror, the bedroom suite with side tables and the display cabinet. With this selection I can highly recommend this company and their beautiful furniture.

Good collection of home décor and furniture. Good price, some unique items. We bought a few items. First attendant who served us was very polite and helpful. However, we went around the shop to look for a few other items and we were served by another attendant. We did not find her friendly and she over charged us for one of the item and had to wait 15 minutes before she could attend to us again to refund the money. No apology was offered by her.

Excellent customer service by Patrick and the team. They went so far and beyond when I pointed out a design flaw with a bed set and worked with the manufacturer to modify the bed and rectify the issue. Not many retailers would do other than offering some compensation or at most agreeing to a refund. We really like our bed set and were delighted that the issue was rectified. Well done By Design.

I called to purchase a mirror I had seen advertised online and have it posted interstate. The staff were amazing, super helpful and efficient and the mirror arrived safe and sound, properly wrapped and without damage. I love my new mirror and so glad I took the risk of having it delivered!!!

They lead so un responsible and not respectful customer service . If you have a issue with product they will recommend online customer service and wont solve problem in store. And customer service would play words to not accept faulty items or refunds . Not waste your time in here

Recently we took our elderly parents shopping for lounges. The staff at By Dezign were incredibly helpful and very patient. A great selection of furniture that is reasonably priced. The delivery was on time and lounges arrived well packed. Excellent quality and great service.
