Where I typically shop at a different CVS in a Target near my home, due to my work schedule & location of my temp jobs I decided to have a script transferred to the pharmacy at State & Madison where I would call to have it delivered to work. My pharmacist at the store where I usually shop transferred my script while we were on the phone & suggested I wait 30 mins before calling the State St store to confirm the message arrival & transfer. Due to being busy at work (which is why I can't pick up my meds in the 1st place) I finally had an opportunity to call the State St store to make arrangements to have the script delivered the next day. The person who answered, not sure if it was the pharmacist or the tech assistant, was very rude insisting that the script was on hold at the OTHER store & then telling me that, besides, scripts take 2-3 days to deliver (?) She also added that I should call the store where I usually go to again or go there for the script because she didn't know what's going on since she doesn't have it in her system. 2-3 days to deliver a script??? What if it was an urgent situation?? I'm a Customer Service professional so rudeness like that, for me, is intolerable. Sadly, my insurance has me getting my scripts filled at CVS ...otherwise, I'd take my business elsewhere. Luckily, the store near me where I've been going for years does provide top notch service ...too bad I'll need to be inconvenience by not being able to use a service CVS so eagerly seems to offer.
If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Rude, unhelpful, not knowledgeable about basic systems that CVS has in place to help people. Did not seem to care if I got my time sensitive medication in time or not. I had an awful experience and would avoid this place like the plague. I even had the person helping me look me in the face and say "It might be here tomorrow or it might not, who knows". Shouldn't you know? when someone needs time sensitive medicine and the person behind the counter just doesn't seem to care if you get what you need in time or not it is unacceptable. She also was unable to help me find a CVS that had the medication in stock. She said she looked in the area and did not find any stores. However when I called another store right before the CVS pharmacy closed they did have it in stock, however by that time it was to late in the evening to be able to pick it up before the store closed. It goes beyond bad customer service to a level of messing with peoples well-being. Learn to be a professional, you are working at a pharmacy which is suppose to help people who are sick. Act like you care if the person in-front of you lives or dies.
I came to the pharmacy for allergy medicine because I'm having a flare up. The brands behind the counter are far so it’s hard to read the boxes from outside the area. I had questions about the different brands and longevity of the pills. Given the fact that these are pharmacists who deal with customers and are supposed to HELP and how polite i was, i was really taken aback by the lack of patience R****l had when i was simply clarifying.i blurred it but not much out of Some respect. You need to make sure your staff is willing to help people instead of treating them like a burden at 2:30 pm on a weekday. i won’t be returning
Been going here for almost 3 years now, never had an issue. Just keep in mind it is a slightly smaller pharmacy so there is a chance you will need to go somewhere else or wait a day or two for it to ship to them. Just call ahead or order your prescription before you need it and you will be fine
Absolutely fabulous help here. Had and issue with a prescription I had to pick up out of state and while they couldn't track it down. They went the extra mile provided me a few doses until the doctor could return their call. Most specifically pharmacist Jean Moy.
This location refuses return of products, claims that this is a CVS pharmacy, not a CVS store, so no returns can be accepted. Very rude, unhelpful and angry staff. Avoid this place at all costs.
Best pharmacy ever! People are nice and very professional, always helpful. Highly recommended. Better than any other pharmacy I’ve been to in town.
Staff is very friendly and efficient. Was in and out for the booster shot in 20 minutes.
Good pharmacy. Serves its purpose well.
Unfriendly, rude and lazy staff
