We got a notice of our package arriving, stating that it would be at the post office after 6 same day. I drive down to the post office at this shoppers drug mart, and they tell us that the notice saying that we can pick it up after 6 means we have to pick it up the next morning. The service here is terrible, the package has been floating around Ottawa for a week but failed do deliver one day, they stored it somewhere for 6 days because of the strike, despite the fact they could have dropped it off at a pick up site, and now we get to the post-office to pick it up and they tell us that we have to come back the next day despite the notice blatantly saying its available for pick up and wasting out time. This is absolutely atrocious service, and completely unacceptable service. I will never EVER use Canada post again by choice.

I personally have had great experience at this Canada Post. The staff are always friendly and they help me with any questions I have. I try to go to this location at all costs because I appreciate the way they treat customers. I've been told false information at other Canada Post locations and I end up coming back to these staff as they are always able to help clear up any confusion and give me accurate information. I work for a small business and we mail items often and the staff here are just super nice and patient. Thanks for making my visit's to the Post Office less stressful!

TERRIBLE Customer service, I came in to return a few packages (drop off without a receipt at 4:55PM) the staff wouldn’t take me at all “Jasmeet” the lady serving kept yelling saying she’s going to miss her bus, I told her it was important because today was my last day to return them. She responded with “I DONT CARE GET OUT” another gentleman came in and told everyone else to leave as well. This is extremely unacceptable given her shift wasn’t over, I will not be coming back to this location. I demand this be addressed and I will be opening up a bigger complaint with the BBB.

Have had to come to this location many times. Staff are always unfriendly. I hate having to pick up my package and deal with this location. I’ve never had one positive experience in all the times I’ve had to go there. All your staff have the same bad attitude. Who runs your hiring process?... They also have different “policies” for each individual. Makes you wonder if they are actually trained or coming up with whatever policy suits them at the time. Just awful all around.

They are very slow and very inefficient. They allow customers to pack their orders on the spot while there is a huge line behind them. These are things people should have done before they go, or they can do it on the side while the clerk is helping other customers. Also Canada Post is just annoying to deal with in general in terms of packaging and shipping times and shipping to USA. I try to use other carriers as much as I can but sometimes it's inevitable.

If I could give zero stars I would. Not just for the Marivale shoppers drug mart Canada post location but for all Canada post locations. I usually go to ups but accidentally printed a Canada post label so I had no choice but to come here. They all require you to purchase tape to stick your label on the box. They will not help you at all. Unlike ups you just drop your box and label they do everything for you.

In all my years of using this PO, I cannot remember any bad experiences with staff. Whoever I dealt with is always helpful if I have questions, and I am always courteous to them as well. Sometimes, especially around Christmas, the wait lines can be long. Best to plan ahead, as staff will be overworked. A smile and a compliment are always helpful at these times.

Very bad experience, i run a business in which i have to bring sometimes 15 - 20 packages, and some girl named Marta keeps me waiting like i have all the time in the world. She acts like she's CEO of canada post. I mean really, if there's a mistake, there's my phone number on the package. Big time wasted at this canada post.

Very poor ! I paid 17$ for an overnight to Peterborough for Sept1 I tracked it and it says arrives Sept 5 . Spoiled the occasion Shipped Aug 31 to arrive Sept1 Occasion on Sept 2. I was doubly assured by the two clerks it would be no problem ! well done CP

Just came at 8:18 and the lady is closing it early. Just because you want to go home early doesnt mean you can. The closing time states 9pm. Time is money. Wont come back here smh

Absolute terrible customer service, she wanted me to pay for tape to seal it even though it could've been done with the return envelope. Don't waste your time at this location.

No point in rating Canada post or complain about it. Even Santa Clause don't deal with them. They don't care at all! I mean it as the corporate level. NO F GIVEN!

I use this place multiple times a week to ship packages and I haven’t had one single shipping problem in the last 3 months. (knock on wood.) Staff is excellent.

Extremely rude. Not following Covid guidelines and no access to hand sanitizer for staff even though it is a Shoppers Drug Mart. Dealt with Sam today.

Couldn't use their packing tape, just for sell. Meanwhile UPS they were willing to pack it for me.
