"Food is okay, service is extremely disappointing, our orders were taken on a tablet, then they came around multiple times to double check if we have received our meals, turns out that some of our meals weren't placed nicely on the tablet by the staff members, so they've missed our meals, then a particular staff member was rude (old lady), passing a comment about our big group of people, commenting on how we should order meals next time instead of focusing on the staff who stuffed up our orders, whose responsibility is that? Is it the customers responsibility or the staff to ensure that they have taken our order nicely? That's why I'm rating this place low due to the service"
"Decided to try Iftar at Cedar today and I was utterly disappointed"
"I ordered two cheese pies, after 10 min( which is not bad waiting time) they got me one pie!!! I told her, I ordered two, she said you ordered one i said two she said one,,, i said okay get me another one please, she said yes but, when you finish go to the register to pay for it"
"Very nice but we (my family and I) felt that the the food is slightly over priced, by about 10 to 15 percent"
"I’m a regular at this joint and I’ve come in on a Saturday at exactly 3:35pm"
Food is okay, service is extremely disappointing, our orders were taken on a tablet, then they came around multiple times to double check if we have received our meals, turns out that some of our meals weren't placed nicely on the tablet by the staff members, so they've missed our meals, then a particular staff member was rude (old lady), passing a comment about our big group of people, commenting on how we should order meals next time instead of focusing on the staff who stuffed up our orders, whose responsibility is that? Is it the customers responsibility or the staff to ensure that they have taken our order nicely? That's why I'm rating this place low due to the service. So it doesn't seem that you can accommodate for big number of people or multiple families sitting together. We were advised by one of the staff to place our orders per table number, then the other lady comes around commenting about that when that's what we've been offered to do in the first place. So completely unorganised!
Decided to try Iftar at Cedar today and I was utterly disappointed. What followed next was us watching others that came before us be served all the meals at once while waited for 20min in between meals. When I asked the waiter at the end why are they so late work the meals - she said “it’s because you booked today and they booked 2 weeks ago” . Mind you we are returning customers!! That left a very bitter taste and illogical - first time I had experienced nepotism ( they were servicing this big group of cousins or family friends before us). I won’t be going back - clearly I was not a valued customer this evening. There are better restaurants that do Iftar and are well organised and don’t prioritise a particular group over another.
I ordered two cheese pies, after 10 min( which is not bad waiting time) they got me one pie!!! I told her, I ordered two, she said you ordered one i said two she said one,,, i said okay get me another one please, she said yes but, when you finish go to the register to pay for it. After nearly 30 min, she got me the second one which now I really feel full, she repeated again, when you finish go to the register to pay For it. In the waiting time NO ONE bring water or tissues as they do in usual, finally the price for cheese pie is $6 which i donno why the double it, it’s $3 in all our Lebanese bakers, I understand the place is nice but still in shopping centre not in river view. SORRY TO SAY IT’S NOT REALLY GOOD PLACE.
Very nice but we (my family and I) felt that the the food is slightly over priced, by about 10 to 15 percent. Also, I went in there a second time a few days late, just to by a takeaway toasted sandwich (sujuk, cheese and egg I believe it was), and the service by the staff serving at the front wasn't very friendly. It seemed like they were working in a factory and not with humans. They just couldn't be bothers that day. The owner/s should perhaps keep an eye and ear on them. Customers of any business, big or small, should be greeted properly and when a customer pays, it's customary (and good business) to say thank you.
I’m a regular at this joint and I’ve come in on a Saturday at exactly 3:35pm. I know for a fact it closes at 5pm. So I walk in and two junior staff tell me kitchens closed. Now as a regular customer I thought this was strange so as walked past the owner ( who I know the face of) doesn’t acknowledge me as he makes eye contact with me. This is pretty pathetic for a cafe/bakery that has chosen to operate on a Saturday till 5pm. I’ve lost respect for this place which I once thought was a pretty decent place.
Shame, shame, shame! I would've thought that being a Lebanese bakery run by Lebanese people, albeit charging a premium for Tabbouleh salad, you would know how to make authentic Tabbouleh! Alas, this is not the case! As a Lebanese person, I was shocked at how bad your (premium $$$) tabbouleh is! I'm not trying to be mean, just being honest. I rarely ever write reviews and I'm usually happy to pay extra for a good product! I suggest you hire a Lebanese "Teta" to work in your kitchen!
Great place to have brunch, a bit pricey but totally worth it and full filling. The orange juice was fresh, the herbs and spice mushroom was one of kind; it was tasty and never had this kind of mushroom before, its a must try. We tried chilli eggs, egg and potato, Egg and potato was my favourite. They also have a vast variety of options to buy from: like snakes on the go for busy people and also herbs and spices, nuts and seeds, dried fruits and snacks as well
The batch brew is to die for. One of the few places that actually has enough taste (And class!) to actually make them. Ignore this place at your own loss. The coffee is second to none. Industries beans are really good. I actually bought a bag from them for home. The bakery is fresh. The almond croissant is superb and better than all the other shops here. I have tried them all. Service is with a genuine smile. It's a gem in Watergardens. Need I say more?
What an absolute gem of a place! Have been here, with my wife, for breakfast, lunch & friday night dinner as well as for takeaway bakery treats from the front counter & have been thoroughly satisfied each time. Excellent food, Great coffee, even better 'Lebanese' lemonade & very importantly exceptional customer service. Would give more stars if possible. Faultless! To Jimmy & staff . . . . . you guys ROCK !! All the best Paul (a.k.a. 'Kam')
Was really excited to see Cedar Bakery had opened another location. Beautiful fit out and loved their tasty classic bakery items. My main concern is that their young female staff were wearing long acrylic nails while handling my food with their bare hands and then touched their faces. I understand if it’s a safety issue to wear gloves due to the oven heat but it should be a requirement to have short nails if this is the case.
As a previous owner of 4 cafes. I was horrified that staff were not wearing any gloves , all while touching other surfaces including the EFT machine , coffee machine ect..then opening up rolls touching meat inside the rolls and other food with bare hands and nails. I politely told her... but She argued with me saying she did not touch any money ..but with covid and sickness gloves should be mandatory With touching food !
Not the best experience with blown out wait times and ridiculous pricing on chicken zatar where they added just 2 pieces of chicken tenders to a pre-made zatar and charged $17! The pre-made zatar by itself was forn$10.90. Don't mind paying top dollar for a fancy dish but a bit concerned with paying so much for a mainstream dish. Overall very poor experienc and wouldn't be goint back anytime soon.
If you like to taste the freshest zaatar in western suburbs this is the place to go to . This place has amazing variation of fresh breads which they produce fresh in the bakery. My go to place for morning bkfst ❤️

Food: Great variety. Not your average cafe with the regular croissants. Service: Great friendly service. Location: Very spacious, hard to miss in the newer section of the centre. Value: Really good value. Summary: Random surprise hit for us as we never go to Watergardens. Have recommended it to others to visit when at the shopping centre. Would probably drive down to have brunch one day.
Can’t say what the food is like but went there in the 11/08/23 , at 4:20 and stood there , a girl with black hair just stood there doing nothing and looked at me and didn’t serve me , very very rude , won’t waste my time or give them my money , disgusting service and was genuinely looking forward to trying the food as it looked good but was just totally ignored
Ordered coffees and pastry. 45 minutes before closing time. Lady who served us made sure to inform they were closing at 4pm. Sure no worries. But then they forgot our order. Proceeded to only half warm our food when we reminded them. Brought the food out with 10 minutes to go before closing, and reminded us they were closing in “1 minute”. So not good customer service.
Went in there today for lunch with a friend of mine. After being seated we waited for over 20 minutes for service. We weren't even given glasses and your two staff member flat out ignored us. We got up and walked out. I have eaten there previously before and never a fault. Today I was deeply disappointed. Sun, Aug 6th 2023
I went there today at 4.15pm, I asked not to be warm up, but the girl did, because she was concentrating with her friends, when I tried to talk, the lady said to me you want to argue, she left me to another customer. When I arrived home, I found different order than the order which I asked for . Bad customer service
It was late afternoon. The food was quite nice, but on leaving to pay, one of the staff rudely said, the kitchen is closed, I said…I’ve just eaten, I want to pay you. He spoilt it.

Went to Cedar today, got 2 egg and sujuk rolls and 2 medium coffees, the food and coffee were lovely, but my goodness it was so expensive. Ive never raised my eyebrows so much when seeing a price. On top of already expensive food, Cedar charge a fee when using a card for payment + 5% weekend surcharge.
Just a classy out of the ordinary bakery and cafe. The staff are super helpful, friendly and knowledgeable of their menu. The restaurant experience is classy and clean. The food is really good and it caters for small snack to large meals busting with flavour. Come visit, you won’t be disappointed!
Food is amazing, customer service is quality & location is excellent so the kids can play on indoor play area. Wanted to give 5 stars but I'd say the only let down was the coffee... very average taste. If they changed the beans would be 5star all day everyday, regardless still a great bakery.
One of my favourite places to go. Fits the kids, the pastries are a must and their coffees are perfectly brewed every time.

Fantastic zatar biscuit and most importantly, outstanding hospitality from staff members, especially the ONE and ONLY Francesca (who served me with those yummy zatar biscuit and so my Chinese mother for 1 day, thinks I am the best daughter ever walked on earth)! Way to go team Cedar!
Great food, good vibes and friendly staff. We tried the chilli scrambled and egg and potato. Tasted so good. The salt shaker broke by accident and our food got salty, staff were so nice and friendly and offered to replace the food with no hesitation. Definitely recommend this place.
Jimmy is the nicest bloke, Fran and the other staff are just the friendliest and loveliest group around. On top of this their Lamb manousha is amazing and their coffee is the best - I usually order 2 and buy my beans from there. It’s why it’s my must go to every Saturday.
Highly recommended. Finally a great tasting Lebanese Pizza in the area. Best service. Best Food tastes amazing. Love the coffee too. Wouldn't go anywhere else. The chefs in the back are actually Lebanese and know how to prepare a traditional meal. Keep up the great work.
Extremely Over priced Lebanese dishes and special y the Lebanese pizza prices are ridiculously expensive. I hope they drop the prices to fair prices. Zatar shouldn’t be more than $2.00 Meat $3.50 cheese $3.50. Its just dough and small toppings why so expensive,,, sad.
My premium canteen+ cafe All Bakery stuff you won't disappointed Coffee strong and very nice! Please keep your Baristas !!!!!! I just want to get my coffee in here! staff members are friendly 4 stars from me on Google (I want to put 6 stars for the coffee n food)
Went there for Sunday breakfast. Excellent customer service and the menu was extensive and creative. Coffee was also really nice. Has the chili harrissa scrambled eggs. The also have booths for families. This will be the standard for exploring other cafes now.
Good service, always a good cappacino, staff friendly though food over priced for what you get. They need to look as surrounding businesses and compare the quantity, quality and price they charge. In saying that I know Watergardens charge a premium for rent.
Great coffee, food and service. We stopped by for breakfast this morning and we’re so impressed with everything. The ladies serving were very friendly and kind. Loved it all so much, we left with a heap of takeaways to try. Thanks for having us!
Finally we have a Lebanese bakery on this side of town that has held the quality of MANOUSH to the taste bud. Your Zatar I would rate 10/10 Love your service and I will definitely support you. Service 10/10 well done and keep up the good work
Beautiful coffee - strong and hot as a coffee should be! Food is amazing! Full of flavour and fresh! So glad that we have this treasure in our neighbourhood! Service is fast and friendly. All round great place! Would highly recommend!
Delicious authentic food. Ordered catering and everything was perfect. Rhe staff were very friendly and helpful advising us on the amount of food needed. Everybody loved the food. Highly recommended. Thank you
Good coffee & nice food. The cheese pies seem to have a little less cheese than normal which is a shame cos that was our favourite. Staff are also lovely.

This is the 2nd time I order few pizzas and they mix up my order, and the pizza size are much smaller than the other bakeries, and their dough tastes like cardboard. Very disappointing …
FINALLY A GREAT LEBANESE RESTAURANT NEAR MY AREA ... only thing i would change is probably an addition of physical menus since last time we had to order from our phones …
Phenomenal! Fantastic coffee and even better food. We had the Cedars Avocado and the Eggs & Potatoes. Everything was beautiful and fresh, will definitely return when in the area.
It's definitely a must urban restaurant to visit. Individual, meeting friends, or family gathering place. The food is amazing and delicious. Prices are fair. Well trained staff.

I have never ate similar zaatar before, even in Lebanon. The best zaatar ever. Customer service is great. Very clean place and so delicious food. I am going ther every day now.
I give this bakery 5 stars. so fresh and yummy. it is abit pricey, would probably attract more customers if it was abit cheaper. I know otherwise i’ll be buying in dozens.
Incredible zaatar, thick and delicious! Vegan friendly, kind and warm service, exactly what everyone needs. Wide variety of other delectable treats to purchase as well.
My favourite lebanese place ever! The Industry Beans coffee is honestly the best in the area. The food on the dine in menu is absolutely incredible I highly recommend.

We went for dinner tonight and food was amazing..u must try it..chicken skewers and lamb skewers were so tender..could not fault the dishes..
There's a good choice of pastries & other items - many vegetarian. It also sells a range of sweet treats, too. Well worth a visit & purchase.

Absolutely amazing customer service from the staff!! The breakfast, coffee and food is amazing. Definitely recommend Cedar Bakery 10/10
Visited today for a quick up of coffee and snack. It was good and best part was baristas welcoming everyone with greetings and a smile.
Lovely cafe but at opening times only a fraction of food is available and you might have to wait 20 mins for your desired food to come.
Pleasant surprised how good the food is. Ordered chip and eggs and it was great have been back for take away also. Highly recommend

Excellent service and wonderful food. I was very impressed with the work ethic of Nicole. She is a credit to the bakery.
Had one of the best lattes here a few weeks ago. We also ordered the margherita pizza and french fries. Enjoyed it all.
By far the best Lebanese bakery you'll ever experience. Staff are super friendly and the food is delicious …
