Country Cob Bakery at Boronia Visited on 19/2/2021 After receiving a few WhatsApp messages from a makan group raving about the pies from this bakery and its winning a national award, my wife and I decide to give it a try. I am a pie lover, and a very fussy one. I have checked the reviews in Google Maps before I embark on this pie hunting adventure, It is a stand-alone converted weather board house, prominently situated at one corner of a very busy intersection. There are several big sign boards at the compound, and signage on the building that can't be missed when viewed from a distance. There is plenty of car parks at the rear of the building, not dissimilar to a local old-style private medical clinic. The verandah can accommodate some dinners, who may prefer a good dose of sunlight / vitamin D, and some fresh air. The latter is questionable because there are too many cars and trucks that travel on the busy roads. About half of the property at the rear end is the kitchen, serving counter and display cabinets. The other half has nothing except markings on the floor for social distancing. Against the glass windows are benches and chairs for dine-in customers to enjoy their meals or pies. Other things do not interest me, except the very impressive vertical display cabinet full of pies and pasties. The overhead blackboards clearly show the different variety of pies and products with corresponding prices. We order the award winning Pepper Beef Pie and a Chicken Ham Leek Pie. The pie pastry is soft, not thick and yet can hold the fillings well without soaking through. Unlike many commercially produced pies, this pie top is flaky. I enjoy the pastry very much. The pepper beef pie is a big disappointment. It is vitamised beef in a thick gluey gravy. The dark brown colour filling mixture is extremely unappetising. The chicken ham leek pie is much better than the beef pie, and I can see and taste the pieces of meat. Texture and taste wise are as good as expected. Am I being over critical? I decide to have two more items in order to double-check whether my taste buds are still in good order. We were not offered to have the pies served on saucers, instead of eating them over the torn white paper bags. We only realised after watching another customer consumed his food in a more civilised manner. The Rendang Pie is more for non-South East Asian consumers who know what rendang should taste like. Rendang is a dry curry, and therefore the taste and texture of the pie filling needs some fine tuning. Although the meat is fairly tender, the pieces should be chunkier like in a Chunky Meat Pie. The difficulty in reheating pie is that the inside filling may not be very hot, but pastry can suffer burn. One corner of Meat Vegetable Pasty is burnt. The mixed vegetable pieces are more on the raw side. There is sufficient minced meat in the pie. I stand corrected that flavour enhancer or booster has been used a bit over generously resulting in our yearning for water to quench our thirst throughout the rest of the afternoon. We have no luck with the vanilla slice as it is a popular item and it's all sold out!

I have been a pie lover for many years and tried 'so called' winning pies from everywhere including Queensland, South Australia, Inverloch Victoria where they have signs claiming to be the best. I've only thought they were mediocre and nothing to write home about. My work jokes about how much I enjoy a pie, and I really do enjoy good ones when I can find them. I put in an online order for steak and mushroom, pepper and plain. I can honestly say the balance of flavours and the quality is far superior to anything else I have had before. They are really sensational. The pastry is exceptional in that it is light and fluffy but able to maintain its strength and not fall apart in your hands. The beef used is of high quality - That and the initial taste proved in a second that care and quality are a priority. I would highly recommend these pies. I haven't tried the seafood, but as far as the beef range in concerned, it's worth the effort to get to the bakery if you can. I live outside of the 5Km zone so had to order them in (due to our strict lock down rules). They arrived in a timely manner, very well packed in an insulated container and were easily identified as to which was which. Top job everyone at that bakery. You certainly do deserve the title of 'Best pie in Australia'. It exceeded my expectations. As a disclaimer, I am not offered any reward for my reviews. They are honest and represent my own personal opinion and experiences without influence.

Been back multiple times and it never disappoints! Everything i posted 2 years ago remains, though the prices are a little dearer than then, but just tried their singapore chilli crab and was incredibly surprised by the generous amount of chunky crab! So the quality of filling makes it understandable, love these pies, so so good (Nov 2023 edit) ~~~~~~ Looooved it! Particularly the first two pies we bought. The Plain Beef and Chicken Mushroom were so good we had to buy another two flavours, Chunky Beef and Lamb Ragu. Starting with the first two, the plain beef filling was sooo tasty and pastry base was delicately buttery and the top flakey. The chicken mushroom creamy filling was just amazingly delicious, I've been looking for this type of creamed chicken and mushroom for the longest time! The other two pies tho tasty wasn't quite on the same level as the first two. Can't wait to try all their other flavours, though it's going to be hard not to order their plain beef and chicken everytime... As for the store themselves, it was super busy, but service was fast, tables were somehow still kept clean despite how busy they were. Parking was convenient. Will be back!

These guys are killing it. I've had a fair few of the pies, and I wanted to see what the 2023 champion was like. I cycled up from Collingwood, and I wasn't disappointed. When I arrived, the queue was huge. There were about 40 people waiting. I asked a few people what their favourites were, and everyone picked something different. I went for the fish amok pie. It's rich, sweet, laden with turmeric, lemongrass, and makrut lime. It's spicy and salty, and I really enjoyed it. First, you're hit by the sweet coconut. You get all the aromatics. The chilli comes along, and finally, the fish sauce joins the party, too. If you've never tried Cambodian flavours, fish amok is a good introduction. I like their pastry. I know they make a lot of pies, but they do it well. Previously, I'd visited another branch and got myself a scallop pie and a beef pie. Again, both we were excellent. I haven't got any criticisms really, they know what they are doing, service is fast and they have a really good reputation. They que for a pie in Boronia, like they do for a croissant at Lune or a Beef & Pickles at Hector's Deli. Keep up the great work. Finally got to try pies from Country Cob Bakery - officially the best pie in Australia 2020. This is apparently the third year in a row the bakery won the first place. Pepper Beef this year, Caramelised Pork and Pepper last year, and Seafood-Satay in 2018. They must be doing something right so I had to try some right away. So I grabbed Pepper Beef, Caramalised Pork, Pepper, BBQ Whisky Pork and Quail Egg, and finally, Satay Chicken. I gatta say, the baseline for these pies was high. They were all flaky despite of the long travel time from Kyneton. Needless to say, each pie was jam packed full of feature flavor. For example, you can really taste the fresh pepper in "Pepper" Beef pie. Can't exactly choose my favourite because they were all wonderful in their own ways (all comes with that thick, rich, flavoursome filling oozing out). Some of the beef pieces were slightly dry but overall they were well-balanced and delicious. Definitely worth trying :)

I want to shout it from the rooftops how good these pies are! As a regular home made pie maker, I had my reservations about ordering when an ad showed up on my Facebook newsfeed. It was the Lobster pie that sold me so my partner and I chose a six pack of various seafood pies. They arrived late last Saturday afternoon and boy were they worth the wait (and the $$$) We had the Lobster pies for dinner. Large juicy chunks of fresh cooked to perfection Lobster in a divine creamy delicate mushroom sauce but the hero of this pie for me was the incredible pastry! I was blown away by the shortness of the shortcrust pastry base that was crisp all the way through, then the buttery gorgeous puff pastry lid sprinkled with poppy seeds. It was heaven to eat and so so moreish! I have never eaten a bought pie this good. Who wants to make their own pies when there is Country Cob Bakery? You've gained a customer for life!

My wife and her family went in today (we are locals/regulars) and my wife accidently dropped her pie on the floor (it slid off the plate) She asked for a replacement pie, to which the attendant looked at her blankly, and to break the awkwardness, my wife said I'll pay for the new pie. Then suddenly all was ok with the attendant and she was happy to charge for a 2nd pie. Come on guys - you sell hundreds of pies each day, 1 pie isn't going to break the bank, especially when we spent over $50 with you today. Be better - don't let the greed of a dollar come before regular customers. We regularly promote your bakery to friends and family as one of the best pie shops in the area. I guess now we are a new story to tell (unfortunately)

  • SalBerry

Went there based on the high reviews but i was disappointed with the food quality. Bought 2 sausage rolls, 2 chocolate macarons and a chocolate éclair. The sausage roll meat didn't have a meat texture at all, it was like gritty mush wrapped in greasy soggy pastry. The éclair tasted like it had been sat there for a few days, the cream was not fresh and the pastry was hard. The macarons... At $2 each... Were small and burnt. I've never eaten such a crunchy flavourless macaron, there was barely any filling. Not sure how this place has so many good reviews, all the pies and cakes looked basic as if they were just bought in from 'bigbake Co' The "cafe" section was a mood hoover for any good feelings I had before entering.

  • A Koliavu

I've visited here twice now from reading good reviews and I can honestly say I was completely underwhelmed with their overrated pies. The first time I went I ordered a mince, cheese and bacon pie. It had no cheese. I took it back and was given a mince and cheese pie instead which was okay, still not much cheese. The second time I ordered a gourmet chunky beef pie. Although it had great flavour it was mainly gravy with some mince and red capsicums. Not chunky at all. I much prefer the slow cooked chunky beef pies from 7eleven across the road which are better and cheaper. If you're looking for a good slice they do have some great yummy choices.

Oh my goodness! Do yourself a favour and try this place ASAP! BIt out of the way for us as we live in Pakenham, but so worth the drive. Tried the award winning plain beef pie, partner had the beef and onion, and just on a whim we decided to try the Black Forest Truffle and Mushroom pie. Both beef pies were absolutely delicious, but the mushroom and truffle? That combination of mushroom, truffle, cream and pastry was complete and utter heaven!! Will be back next week to try a couple more, can't stop thinking about how the Chicken, ham and leek will taste, plus the lobster laksa. Definitely would give 10 stars if I could!!

  • Hen

Absolutely deserving of the award for best pie in Australia. They have a huge variety of pies and baked sweets. My partner and I started out with some basic pies: a beef and mushroom, and steak and cheese. They were so good we just had take home some of their non traditional pies. All I can say is WOW. The flavour and quality of every pie we bought (8 total) was perfect. The lobster and mushroom pie was my favourite, it literally had a lobster tail inside!! We’ll definitely be back soon to try more. Also I got to try the new Beef Rendang pie and I hope it becomes a permanent addition to the menu because it was amazing!

  • Xue Yang

We went there for a pie, pasty, and my little one wanted a burger and chips. The pies are really good quality however I would prefer more of the other flavours when they advertise the. The reason is that my mushroom pie and a tiny amount of mushrooms on it. That being said, the two crusts were good however the pasty could have had more meat in the filling with the meat pasties. Please note that a four out of five is extremely good as that in order to get a five out of five required additional service that benefits the clientele. Will I return... I will as that I have no negative experiences with the store.

  • Hayley

We stopped by while driving through the area. Having heard such good things about their pies, we had high expectations. We got a satay seafood and pepper pork. The flavours were fantastic and there were decent chucks of pork. The satay was mostly sauce filling with a couple of small prawns on the base. The pastry was the most disappointing. They needed to be cooked longer, the pastry was soggy on the bottom and not crisp at all and barely golden. The pepper pie was saved for later as we had already eaten, and heating it up in the oven at home improved the pastry 100% Honestly, there are better pies nearby.

  • Christine Childs

I didn't know this store was here, sooooo many varieties of pies seafood, curry's, g/f, vegetarian, vegan, they also do facarcia ?and coldfoods as well there's only a few of these bakery's around so go and have a look, you can eat in and there is plenty of parking and I noticed it was very clean. The pies etc average price is $7and well worth it for a taste change.

I recently visited the Country Cob Bakery and was blown away by their award-winning Pork and Pepper Pie. The pastry was perfectly flaky and the filling was rich and flavorful. I could taste the high-quality ingredients used in every bite. It's no wonder that Country Cob Bakery has won the award for the best bakery for pie in Australia. The staff were also friendly and helpful, making my visit even more enjoyable. I highly recommend trying their pies and other baked goods. You won't be disappointed!

  • Chaitanaya Bhardwaj

Amazing pies... but their customer service is pathetic. The place closes at 3, but they were not ready to warm up a pie for us at 2:30 also. They were not ready to take any requests and were pretty strict on that. My suggestion for the place would be to put it up on their website and at their shop, as not heating up a pie even though there is 30 mins to close up doesnt make any sense to me. P.S - Their clock runs 5 mins ahead. I was shocked that they dont agree to the time displayed on IPhone.

  • WL Tan

I was staying near the Bakery when I was in Melbourne. I walked there in the morning which had a temperature of 5 degree C. This place sells (in my opinion or decided by my taste bud) one of the best pies in the world. I love the beef pies. Bought also chicken pies too. Went there a second time a few days later and got a scallop pie (of course the beef pies as well). The other seafood pies were not available at that time. I will go again if I return to Melbourne (which I hope to).

  • R m

was advised they have the best pies in the area Staff friendly, small cafe with seats ok for a bakery style cafe Ordered plain meat pie, pepper beef pie and 2 sausage rolls with 2 600ml drinks (AUD 37.00) Price was a bit steep but we ploughed on anyway Both pies very underwhelming in taste and flavour. Sausage roll had way to much filler and not enough meat / vegetables. Pastry was ok Both very plain for the price and not a value for money. Doubt i will be eating there again

  • Simon Davis

Yeah... nice pies - I had 2 pies 1. Beef/Pepper - was hoping for chunks of meat, not the mince I got - plenty of that pepper flavour... was nice & would eat again. 2nd pie was the Lamb Ragu... was a little disappointed of the flavour of this one, but it did have chunks of lamb meat, which was nice - probably wouldn't have this one again. My vegan partner had the Mushroom Ragu pie - she loved it. Will definitely return and try some of the others. They are quality pies

  • Tamara Robertson

Extremely average pies for the cost and all the hype about being “award winning” to be honest. Always sloppy as hell and not overly flavourful. Once had a prawn pie with literally 2 prawns in it… service could also be more friendly as the staff never seem enthused about being there. Every time I think “I’ll just try them one more time maybe they have improved” and they never do. Wouldn’t recommend unfortunately.

Not overly impressed with the chunky beef pie, $7 for a soggy pie that seems a couple of days old doesn't quite cut it. I would say the pie was about 25% chunky beef and the rest was beef mince and gravy (more gravy than mince) the pie fell apart about half way through eating it. I won't be trying another pie there again, I'll stick to my other local bakery winners in the area, the sweets did look nice though so maybe I'll go back to try them one day.

  • Kenny Cheong

I love pies... And these pies are just on a league of their own! I've tried 4 different flavours from here so far and I have absolutely no regrets with any of them - they were seriously delicious! Can't wait to visit again. The pastry of the pies are a bit on the softer side compared to most places, but I love the texture, taste and the slight crispyness. We took the pies away - there's not much seating capacity inside the store.

  • Cecilia Wong

Came to try these pies at last after hearing all the awards they’ve won. Tried the fish amok award winning pie. It was pretty good, nice amok flavor with distinct ?lemongrass or some other herb flavor. Pastry was alright, flaky but nothing to write home about. Overall it’s a cheap and cheerful lunch. Don’t mind trying the other pies if I’m in the area but it’s a little overhyped. There some basic seating if you want to eat in.

  • Sharna Ashurst

Amazing pies! My husband loves every pie that he has tried from here! You know that you have found a good pie place when they make a great plain pie as there is nowhere to hide. As someone who has Crohn's disease finding a place that actually makes an amazing gluten free pie, you guys are a Godsend! Most gluten free pies taste like cardboard, but yours is amazing I almost second guessed myself when eating it that it wasn't GF.

  • Phil Whittle

Their pies win awards for a reason, they are really good!!! I got a recommendation from a friend after he had read about their awards so tried them out & have been to their Springvale & Boronia stores & was not let down. The chuncky beef & mac cheese pie is my favourite so far but have a lot more to try out & will keep going back to work my way through their menu. Their sweets are on par as well.

  • ST

Huge selection of pies and other baked goods. The recommended pepper beef was amazing. Perfect flavour. I also enjoyed the onion beef and scallop pie. The scallop was surprisingly big. Lots of flavour and two pies was very filling for a hungry stomach. There's not much options for seating in a group (there's about three small tables) so it definitely feels more like a grab and go type of eatery.

  • Satish Kumar

Finally made my way to Country Cob Bakery to see what's the big hype they talk about their Pie. I must admit that this is one of the best Pies I ever had. They had so many varieties to choose from. The staff was very friendly and gave a good service. The place is clean and followed the covid regulations. Definitely I will visit again to try other varieties as well. Good on you Country Cob.

  • Peter

The only review I have ever written. Greasy, cold pie with ladles of flour thickened gummy sauce - much better pies. They must use other pastry & ingredients in their competition pies as these are just awful. You’ll also only get half your order as they seem quick to make a quick buck #scam. They’ll just shrug their shoulders once you’ve paid the money - #findabetterpie #findbetterservice

  • Tainhui Tan

Very friendly staff. Ordered a plain pie, egg cheese bacon pie and a spinach roll.... plain pie is ok, filling mostly are gravy. Egg cheese bacon pie is tad too salty for my tastebud. Spinach roll filling is dried and crumbly. Nice things about the pies are the pastry is flaky. Overall it's ok , slight disappointment because everyone raved about their pies... not my cup of ☕.

Have been frustrated at the lack of good bakeries and take away food places in the Knox area (there are an extraordinary amount of terrible ones). I read about their Lamb ragu pie in an article so wanted to try it but they were sold out. Lucky me. Had the scallop pie instead. At nearly ten dollars it needed to be good. Worth every cent. Amazing pie. I'll be back.

  • Flynn Cameron

Most overpriced pie, couldn’t get order right, even after pointing to the correct cake and other worker telling them which one still ended up with wrong food, pie was just a wet mess with more pepper then pork.

Visited with my partner, we got a plain pie, Cambodian fish pie and a veggie pie, and vanilla slice. All pies were fresh, flavoursome, and delicious! Vanilla slice was pretty good, I've had better, but it was still a good slice. There is not much parking for how busy this place gets especially around peak times. Well worth a visit.

  • Tracey Wain

great pies. we had a plain pie and the butter chicken. the flavours were fantastic enjoyed each bit. bthen we trying the vanilla slice the cost on to was so hard I need a knife to cut it then all the custard just squish out had no flavour if I had tried to eat in the cafa I would have asked for my money back.

  • Grant Stephens

Highly decorated for their savoury pastry delights, national champions for their beef pie. Love their entire savoury range which includes delicious veggie options for the Mrs. Sweet treats on offer but limited range compared to their savoury selections. Having said that they serve all the classics...

  • Keat Chiew

Lived up to the hypes and awards. Tried their award winning fish amok and plain beef pies multiple times and today got a taste of the fancifully named Blackforest pie, which is essentially mushroom pie. Strong flavour and doesn’t disappoint. The price tag is the only stopper to this indulgence.

  • Andrea Mithen

Great pies but one very rude and impatient girl serving, who insists on talking to you with her head turned the other way and behind a plastic screen. Then got annoyed when I said I could not hear her and asked her to repeat a couple of times. Acted like I was stupid. No pies for us today .

Their pies are out of this world! It is no surprise their pies were awarded best pie in Australia! Heaps and heaps of flavours. If you were to try 1 flavour everyday, it would take at least a month to try all the flavours! Will definitely go back to get more pies next time

  • Subroto Muukherjee

Country Cob Bakery is all that it promises to be and more. The pies are simply out of this world. Amongst the best I have had anywhere. The constantly full & busy parking, fast moving lines at the counter and efficient staff, are testimony to the quality of fare on offer.

  • Gabriels Mourning

I grabbed a Shepard's Pie. The mix is possibly one of the best pies I've ever had... the potato was creamy but plain. They're also pricey but still... I got in trouble for not bringing my wife considering they have an epic dessert collection. Definitely enjoy going back.

  • MelbReviewer

We had the scallop Mornay, curry scallop and pork and pepper pies. The pies are ok but when you add the claim of Australia's best pies and have high prices to match, it's a disappointing experience. Perhaps they use better pastry with more layers for the competition?

Surprise find when driving along looking for lunch place. All sorts of pie available and they r huge in portion n generous in ingredients. So many pies to try! Its a rare find of curried scallop pie here in Victoria with such amazing taste. Will come back for sure.

  • Sundae Best

Had the beef mac & cheese. No mac, just excessively sugary 'cheese' sauce. Will try a different flavour next time. Take note that the driveways are incredibly narrow. Almost involved in a collision because the driveway is too narrow for 4WDs to pass by one another.

  • Angelique Frvrafta

We arrived mid afternoon so about 2:30 pm and most of the popular stuff had sold out by then. So if you plan on trying their award winning items don’t make the mistake we made. Apart from that the items we tried were good. Will come back again, earlier this time.

  • Mirvet Saleh

Been wanting to try this place and was finally in the area.. we had the scallop mornay cowboy and beef pepper also a vanilla slice.. was happy with everything, will definitely try more next time im in the area. Vanilla slice was very nice definitely worth a try.

Your pies are next level!!!!! Don;t get me wrong, I still go to Mr Lee, been going to him in Boronia and Bayswater for 20 years but we get pies from you every other week. My girls love the scallop mornay but for me it is steak mince and cheese all the way!!!!

  • Vanessa Wong-Lee

Finally had a chance to try the award winning pies here in Boronia. The pastries on the pies were are so impressive Chicken Potato leek pie was slightly dry inside The potato pie was so amazing with a velvety potato mash and flavoursome beef.

  • Ada Chan

I have heard a lot good things about this place for a while and finally have get to go and try it out. The scallop mornay pie was so flavoursome and did not disappoint. Good amount of scallop, fresh, nice coffee and reasonable price. …

Love this bakery. Excellent beef pie and lovely little treats. The custard slice was creamy and sweet too. Attentive service and super busy, but quick turnaround in customers. Window seats are great to down your food! Highly recommend.

Great pie shop on a busy intersection. Tried their award winning steak and pepper pie and it did not disappoint! Will come back in future to try their other flavours that they have. The shop also has coffee and small desserts on offer.

  • HH house

Handy for a coffee while car being fixed! Nice place good service, cakes looked good but coffee really terrible! Shame. Watery burnt ground sour taste sugar couldn't make much difference! 2 sips and my medium latte was in the bin!

  • Pat P

These pies are to die for. No wonder why they have won so many awards!! All the flavours you could hope and want for. You will end up buying a few.. The coffee are sizes are huge, a small mistake I made but not upset about it.

  • Debbie Li

Delicious pies and great customer service. They have award winning pies. The baked cheese cake is a bit gooey and I regretted not trying the lemon slice instead. Regardless, this is a local gem and we always get our pies here.

  • Victor Lim

Bought 4 cold ones to heat up at home and the guy in the kitchen was so kind to draw cute diagrams illustrating the different pies and included heating instructions too! Loves a small biz that takes pride in their work.

  • Aaron Curry

Pies are just average, nothing to rave about especially for a gold medal bakery. All food here is very over priced, standard pie cost over $7. Best bet is to go to your local bakery before you hit up this joint

  • Mark Osborne

Great local bakery in Boronia which has won the best pie competition for a number of years with a large range of different varieties of pies they also have very nice cakes and slices well worth a visit.

  • Ant Q

Best pies that I have ever had. I am slowly working through all the pie types and haven't been disappointed yet. Cakes are pretty good too, vanilla slices and honey almond slice are my favourites.

  • Gregory Smith

The recent special lobster laksa pie is without doubt the best pie I have ever had! Also recently had the curry scallop pie, very good and infinitely better than any on the Great Ocean Rd.

  • Joanna C

Can see why they won the award for best pie in Australia! The beef pies here have so much flavour. Will definitely come back and try their other pies. The vanilla slice was very nice too.

  • Lucinda Tyrikos

This place has excellent Gluten Free Pie's. You need to wait about 10min for them to heat it up, if you want to eat it there. Or you can take it away and heat it at home yourself..

  • Cooper Brownlee

Amazing pies, some of the best in the area but the donuts are terrible, they literally taste like they went to Woolworths and bought the packs of 8 and are just reselling them.

  • Christine Hunter

I live a fair distance away so only go there occasionally for their pies. They are truly delish. Can eat there. Or wherever. But also can take them home cold to heat up later.

  • Jonno Robin

I was enjoying my award winning pepper steak pie and then get a bite of a huge piece of gristle, unceremoniously have to spit it out, not very award winning unfortunately.

  • Carlene

Love this Shop. The staff are helpful, friendly and always cleaning when I go there. It must to the cleanest place around. And the Pie's are absolutely beautiful. Yummy

  • K

Tasty, but 1. Full of sauce, not meat 2. Pastry was soft, so was probably microwaved to defrost, not at all crispy. Better pies elsewhere, which I will not mention

You know the pies must be good when the place is full of trades on their lunch break. And they were most definitely good pies!! Sorry no photo. We ate them . Lol

  • Sally Bubbles

Not bad, but nothing special about the pies or sausage rolls. Prices are probably a bit high for the the quality of food, but it's a safe stop over when hungry.

Our favourite pie place. My partner’s favourite is garlic prawns pie. My favourite is pork and pepper.

20mins after opening and told can't do egg & bacon rolls as we have run out of bacon. Coles & Woolworths is less then 10 minutes drive....not that hard.

Had the Lobster & Mushroom pie. Was nice and worth a try, not something I would feel the need to have again. But the standard menu is pretty good too.

  • Nigel Dukes

Great range of pies. The quality of which is shown by how full the carpark was. Terrific service by friendly staff. A wonderful experience all round.

These pies are delicious, the fillings the pastry are super. The best pie I’ve tried in here is definitely the “Cowboy Beef Pie” what a winner …

Purchased a curry pie, pastry was soggy, felt microwaved and fell apart in my hand. Took it back, no apology, received same pie same result.
